I do not own the characters of TV show teen wolf such as Scott, Derek, Allison, Stiles, and so on. I do not own the show teen wolf. I do not own the ideas of the TV show Teen Wolf. (Though I wish I could be such an amazing writer as the writer of Teen Wolf!!!) I do own my characters such as Emily and her friend Stephanie because I created the two girls.

Chapter 65:

--Emily's POV:

My eyes slowly fluttered open and I let out a small cry as I shifted my body to get a little bit more comfortable. I tried to move my hand but something warm was covering it.

I rolled my head to the side on the pillow and smiled at Derek's sleeping form, his hand wrapped tightly around my hand preventing me from moving it.

He was sitting in a chair next to the bed, leaning over the bed with his arm under his head. My smile grew as I saw his face. His stern face was relaxed and calm unlike his usual hard exterior.

I slowly reached over with my other hand and ran my fingers along his strong, defined jaw line.

He shifted a little and I quietly giggled as he leaned his face into my hand and wrapped his other hand around my only free hand, rendering me useless. My body was at an awkward angle now.

He slowly opened his eyes and looked up at me. He smiled as he saw that I was awake but looked confused as he looked down at our hands that were both intertwined.

"You grabbed my other hand and I couldn't move." I smiled.

"Did I hurt you? Did I wake you?" He asked, concern written all over his face.

"No. You didn't."

"Ok." He sighed, obviously relieved.

I smiled more as he leaned up further, revealing his messy black hair. He cocked his head to the side, confused by my smile.

"What?" He asked.

"Your hair. You look cute." I chirped.

He rolled his eyes and quickly ran his fingers through his hair, smoothing it down a little.

I didn't bother telling him that he didn't really fix his hair. I liked how he looked now.

"How are you feeling?" He suddenly asked.

"A lot better actually."

"No pain?"

"It still hurts but nothing compared to how it was." I replied.

"How did you sleep?" He asked and I rolled my eyes.

"Are we playing twenty questions?" I laughed.

He chuckled and shook his head, "You look like you feel a lot better."

I nodded my head and slowly began to pull on his shirt so he would move closer to me. He obeyed and stood up, leaning over me.

I still had a grip on the front of his shirt as I weakly tugged at it. Derek smirked as he obeyed my silent reply once again. He leaned down and I felt like I was going to melt as his lips touched mine.

He slowly pulled away and pushed my bangs out of my face.

I couldn't help but feel lost in his piercing green eyes as he stared down at me. As I watched his green eyes I couldn't help my mind wander to when his eyes had turned that icy blue.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I suddenly asked.

Derek tensed up and he knew exactly what I was asking.

"Why didn't you tell me what you were?"

Derek looked like he was struggling to find the right words to say.

"I was going to tell you before you found out. I was going to tell you everything on that Wednesday but..." He stopped as his temper began to take control.

I ran my hand along his forearm and then rested it on his strong bicep.

"Its ok. I believe you."

"I didn't even exactly know how I was going to tell you or show you." He chuckled, "I was just to damn excited for you to know in the first place."

I laughed lightly at him. I could tell he wasn't lying. He was truly going to tell me that night.

We went into a comfortable silence for a little while after that. I rolled over and winced a little as pain hit me. Derek looked concerned and held on to my arm until the pain passed. I was actually a lot more comfortable on my side then I was on my back.

I found myself staring at Derek without realizing it. I was thinking about how his face had transformed and his eyes had glowed. No doubt, it was frightening the first time I had seen him like that but that had a lot to do with what was going on at the time. It still frightened me a little but I knew Derek would never hurt me.

"Werewolf huh?" I snorted, interrupting our silence.

Derek raised an eyebrow with his signature smirk.

"You are definitely taking it a lot better now than I thought you ever would. You're not scared?"

"Of you? Not really."

He smiled at my answer, obviously happy with my answer.

"Are you sure this isn't a dream? I didn't fall and hit my head to hard when I came over?" I joked.

"Not that I know of." Derek smirked.

"I can't believe this. I am dating a freaking werewolf. To think you guys actually exist and aren't just in the mythical books and such. I just thought..."

Derek rolled his eyes in annoyance and pressed his lips to my own, shutting me up instantly.

Our kiss became more passionate as his warm hands trailed up my freezing sides. I ignored the pain that the claw marks caused me as I leaned up further, deepening the kiss. Much to my displeasure he pulled away.

"Sorry. That isn't a good idea for me right now." He said and I noticed his breathing was a lot heavier now.

Realization hit me and I let out a small whimper from the pain as I jumped a little.

"That's it! I get it now!" I chirped.

Derek looked at me confused, "What do you mean?"

"That's why you pulled away all those times! Every time it got a little to heated you would always pull away at the most inconvenient time. You go all wolfed out when you get excited!" I blushed as the last few words poured from my mouth with out me being able to stop them.

Derek raised an eyebrow and looked like he was about to make fun of my blush but I glared at him.

"So am I right?" I asked.

"Yes. Anything that gets our heart racing is dangerous and can lead to us shifting into our werewolf form. It isn't safe for you to be around me when I do."

"You wouldn't hurt me." I whispered.

"Never, but it still is dangerous. I was so angry when I escaped the hunters that I completely lost my human side tying to find you. I only regained that part of me when I found you." He said as his eyes stayed focused on our intertwined fingers.

He looked deep in thought and upset.

"I thought I had lost you after all Kate had done." He said quietly.

I suddenly realized that he didn't know that I knew he hadn't killed all those people. We had both forgotten completely about it in all the crap that has happened.

"I know you didn't do it." I smiled. "You didn't kill all those people. The alpha did."

Derek's eyes widened and I knew for sure that he had forgotten about it as well.

"The Alpha told me when he attacked me."

Derek's grip on my hand tightened ever so slightly and he let out a deep breath.

"Well at least you know the truth now."

"Why did you tell me that you killed all those people though?" I asked, saddened that he would tell me something so horrible.

"It was to protect you." He mumbled as he leaned in further towards me. His eyes never meeting mine.

I didn't know what to say. He had lied to me to protect me. This entire thing was a huge misunderstanding. I immediately felt guilty for ever doubting him. He had done everything to save me, no matter what pain he caused himself.

"Thank you." I breathed.

"For what? I lied to you and kept the truth from you about everything."

"I don't care. You did it all to protect me." I was deadly serious.

Finally he looked up at me, his green eyes watching me very carefully as if waiting for something. He soon smiled and brought my hand to his lips. I let out a small laugh as he kissed the top of my hand.

"Anything else you want to tell me though? It's a good time to come clean. Like you're not a vampire as well or you don't turn into some magical creature like a Unicorn after midnight right?" I jabbed with a smirk.

He snorted and shook his head, "I'm not even going to answer that."

I sighed and laughed with him. I had missed him so much. Everything about him had me screaming for joy. After all we had been through, he was still here and we were both happy.

*****

--Sean's POV:

I rolled over on the couch and groaned as I rolled right on to the claw marks Derek had so graciously given me.

I looked around the game room. I had a two-bedroom apartment so one of the rooms I used as a game room and the other was my room, which is where Emily is sleeping. I had an extra couch in the game room so that's where I had the honor of sleeping. I knew Derek wanted to be alone with Em as she slept so I had taken refuge on the small beige couch here.

I slowly pushed myself off the couch but stopped, as I smelled a delicious scent.

It filled the room and I could tell it was coming from the kitchen. My first thought was that Derek must be making breakfast for her but then I heard two voices. One being Derek's, and the other being Emily's.

I quickly pulled my white tank top over my head and slipped on my pants from yesterday since I didn't have access to my room. I would have to change later.

I quickly opened the door and took in a sharp breath as I saw Emily by the stove. She was standing in front of it, obviously cooking. Bandages wrapped tightly around the small of her back then around her chest. You could barely see the red skin from the tips of the claw marks on her back. She was still wearing my grey sweatpants as well but they hung low on her hips because they were way too big for her.

I looked at the table and saw a very annoyed Derek.

"What in the world! She can't be out of bed."

"You try telling her that. She is stubborn as hell." Derek grumbled.

Emily slowly turned around and looked at Derek, giving him a sympathetic smile.

"I'm ok." She said as she turned to me.

I looked her over and could feel my heart racing. She actually looked one hundred times better. The bruises were almost all gone and you could tell she wasn't in as much pain. But how?

"You look like you feel amazing." I said, making my way into the kitchen.

"I feel amazing." She laughed.

I took a seat across from Derek, who still looked annoyed, probably from being bossed around by Em's stubborn attitude.

I looked back at Em in astonishment.

"Derek? Did she...?" I paused knowing the only way she had healed that quick was if she has changed.

"If you are asking is she turned, then no, she hasn't." Derek smiled, as his eyes never left her. He shook his head at her.

I stared at him in disbelief.

"How is that possible then? She looks like she has healed almost completely."

"I don't know." He replied with a sigh, finally turning his attention towards me.

Both of our heads snapped towards Em as she let out a gasp. She was hunched over a little. One hand held on tightly to the kitchen counter as her other hand shot to her chest. Derek shot up and was next to her in a second. She looked up at him and smiled weakly.

"Maybe I'm not as healed as I thought I was." She joked.

Derek led out a low groan, "I told you so."

She glared up at him but smiled as she straightened her self up. The pain had already passed and she was feeling a lot more comfortable now.

"I'm fine now. You can let go." She laughed as she kissed him on the cheek. He loosed his grip on her and she easily wiggled out of Derek's grasp.

"Go sit back down." She said, pushing him towards the table.

Derek let out another annoyed groan but obeyed. He plopped back down across from me and glared at me, as if daring me to make a joke about him being whipped. I put my hands up in defense and chuckled.

A few seconds later, Em turned around with plates in her hands. Her smile alone, lighting up the room.

"Who wants...?" She began but was interrupted by a loud noise coming from the front door.

A loud crash came from the living room and I turned just in time to see the front door being ripped off its hinges.
