Chapter 51

As you all know wattpad has been down for a while so I just wanted to apoligize! It wasn't wattpad's fault so here is the chapter! :D I apologize for the spacing, I am currently trying to fix it but I can't figure out how to -.- lol

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I do not own the characters of TV show teen wolf such as Scott, Derek, Allison, Stiles, and so on. I do not own the show teen wolf. I do not own the ideas of the TV show Teen Wolf. (Though I wish I could be such an amazing writer as the writer of Teen Wolf!!!) I do own my characters such as Emily and her friend Stephanie because I created the two girls.

Chapter 51:

--Scott's POV:

A gunshot rang out in the distance, followed by a sickening silence. I knew Derek had failed at dealing with the hunters. He had either been captured or worse. What the hell was he thinking taking them on alone? He should have just ran.

Jackson tried to keep up with me but my anger was fueling me, making me walk faster through the forest. Leaves were crushed underneath my weight as my feet hit the ground with unnecessary force.

"Where are you taking me?" Jackson spoke.

"To the entrance of the forest."

"Who were those people?" He asked.

"Hunters. They hunt our kind." I snarled.

"Is that other guy dead?"

"I don't know." I snapped, getting annoyed with all his questions.

"So why exactly was he trying to kill me?"

"Jackson! Shut the hell up!" I yelled and I knew my eyes were flashing their amber color.

Jackson looked taken back by me but I didn't care. My patience was few with anything right now because of the full moon. I didn't want to risk shifting and end up killing Jackson myself.

I led him to the edge of the forest and stormed off. He must have taken that as a chance to get away and he did. I could hear him running the opposite direction I was walking.

I shoved my hand in my pocket and snatched my phone out of it. Dialing Stiles number I quickly told him to pick me up.

It didn't take long for him to come barreling around the corner in his Jeep.

I swung the passenger door open and got in without saying a word. The old metal door screeched as I slammed it shut behind me. Stiles looked at me confused and worried.

"Are you ok? Iv been looking everywhere for you. It's the full moon..."

"I know." I interrupted.

"Derek's alive," I said flatly. "Well he was ten minuets ago."

"What? How?" Stiles yelped, "And what do you mean he was alive ten minuets ago?"

"I don't know how he is still alive but the hunters got him." I spoke and you could hear the anger in my voice.

Stiles slapped his hand to his head, covering his eyes as if he had just remembered something.

"What?" I asked.

"Ok, you are going to be pissed." He started and I mentally prepared myself for the news.

"You know how Em spent the night at my house last night?" He said and I could tell he was uncertain about telling me what he was about to.

"Yes." I spoke.

"Well don't get mad but I kind of helped your sister sneak out with Jackson and Lydia last night. Em didn't get back until really late. Jackson picked her up, but he definitely didn't drop her off."

I could feel my entire body filling with anger.

"So you think Derek dropped her off? He was with her all night?" I spat.

"Well, uh, maybe. We don't know for sure." He said as he rubbed the back of his head. "Look, I thought Derek was dead so I didn't think it would be a big deal if she snuck out to have some fun. If I knew he was still alive I wouldn't of let her go. I felt bad for your sister. She's locked up at her house all day with someone watching her twenty four seven."

"There is a reason for her begin watched like that Stiles." I said while scowling him.

"That must of been why her scent was so strong on Derek. They were together the night before." I said to myself.

"Scott, maybe it's best she knows the truth now. She deserves to know." Stiles somewhat pleaded with me.

"I don't know." Was all I said.

After a while he pulled up to my house and I could sense my sister's presence in the house. She wasn't alone though. That officer was in there with her as well.

Before I could open the car door to get out, Stiles stopped me.

"Talk to Em tomorrow or something. I know your going to talk to her about Derek so please just wait until the full moons passed." I could see in his eyes that he was worried for my sister's safety and he had every right to be.

I didn't know if I could control myself if I confronted Em about being with Derek the last few days. Everything had become so complicated in the last few hours and I hated it. The hunters had Derek, the only person who could stop me from mauling my friends and family, and on top of that my sister was dating him.

"Do you think Derek has told her about werewolves?" I asked suddenly.

"No, I don't think so." Stiles asked, who was obviously in deep thought.

I had never thought about the fact that he could of already told her. It hadn't crossed my mind until now.

"Do you think he did?" Stiles asked.

"No." I mumbled, at least I hope he hadn't.

"I'll call you tomorrow morning." I said and got out of the car as Stiles said goodbye.

I walked up to the front door with my hands shoved into my pockets. As I got to the door I knocked on the door a few times and not even a second later, Sean opened it and grinned when he saw me.

He greeted me with a warm smile and opened the door further so I could come in.

"Hey." I grumbled, not in any mood to talk to anyone right now.

Emily soon poked her head out from behind Sean and smiled at me.

"Scott! Where in the world have you been?" She asked as Sean stepped to the side so she could see me clearly.

"No where." I said in frustration, as I smelt a slight tint of Derek's scent on her.

"Oh." She said as her smile dropped from her face and she moved away from the door.

I stepped in and walked past them both towards the stairs. Em's heart began to pound and she seemed hurt by my actions. I could hear Em begin to walk after me but Sean stopped her thankfully.

"Let him be for now." He said in a quiet tone but my ears could hear him.

I ran up the stairs and into the hallway but I stopped in front of my sister's room. Derek's scent was stronger in there. My fists clinched as I saw his leather jacket sitting on the back of her chair. This confirmed my further suspicions of them being together last night.

I stormed away to my room and slammed my door shut, locking myself in my bedroom. It was best that I stayed locked up for the remainder of the full moon tonight.

--Emily's POV:

"Let him be for now." Sean said as he held on to my shoulder to stop me from following Scott.

I looked up at Sean with pleading eyes and he smiled sympathetically.

I didn't know what was up with my brother and it didn't take an idiot to know we were growing apart. Hell, I barely saw Stiles anymore.

At least there was Sean though. He had been around for quite a while now and I had grown to love him, in a brotherly way. He was always there for me even though it was his job to be with me all the time since it was a job.

"So what happens when this is all over?" I suddenly asked.

"What do you mean?" He looked at me curiously as he led me to the living room.

We both sat down on the couch and I sat with my legs crossed. We sat a little bit away from each other as Sean stared at me confused.

"Like, whenever your job is done. What will happen?" I had never thought about it but I enjoyed Sean's company and it saddened me that once this was all over, he would be gone.

Sean chuckled, "I will go do another job. Surprisingly enough, there are a lot of people around here that need my help."

I didn't really know what he meant by that but I felt saddened by his answer.

"Oh." I breathed as I turned on the TV.

"Hey. Don't think I will just leave and never come back. How could I forget my favorite troublemaking protective custody client?" He smirked while referring to me.

I smiled at him and rolled my eyes.

"I am not that bad. But anyway, you have to come and visit every once and a while!" I demanded with a sweet smile.

Sean laughed, "Of course."

And with that we both began to watch TV in comfortable silence. My eyes were glued to the screen but my mind was in a different place. All I could think about was Wednesday.

It didn't take long for my eyes lids to become heavy. I knew I wouldn't make it though another commercial and sure enough I didn't.

*****

My eyelids snapped open and I panicked when I realized I wasn't in my room. I calmed down when I realized I was in my living room still and must of fallen asleep here last night. I was lying on the couch in yesterday's clothes with a warm pillow resting underneath my head.

The morning sun flooded the room, making it a beautiful orange color throughout.

I jumped when I felt my pillow move underneath my head. I glanced above me and almost screamed out of surprise. Sean must of fallen asleep as well last night because he was sitting there fast asleep with my head resting on his leg.

I blushed at the situation. Some how I had managed to take up the entire couch with my legs on one side of the couch and my head on his leg. He looked like he was uncomfortable how he was sitting but the poor guy was so exhausted that he had fallen asleep anyway.

I used my arms to push my body off the couch and slowly got up, trying not to wake him up. Reaching for a blanket that was on the other couch, I draped it over him and smiled. Sean looked so relaxed, unlike his usual hard exterior even though he acted my age.

I quickly made my way to the kitchen and started making breakfast for us. We didn't have much to make so I decided on scrambled eggs.

Sean still wasn't up by the time I had finished making them so I decided to eat mine and leave him a note that his were in the fridge. I didn't bother making Scott any. I was pretty sure he had left already anyway.

I peaked into the living room and saw that Sean was still asleep but now he was sprawled out on the couch. The blanket barely covered him now and I laughed quietly at him as he lightly snored.

The thought crossed my mind to sneak out and go see Derek at his apartment but I remembered Derek's words telling me not to. I wondered why though. I know he is a wanted criminal and someone could follow me and see him but I couldn't help but think there was a bigger reason why he didn't want me too.

Oh well, I will just have to wait until Wednesday. I smiled, excited for it to come.
