Chapter 50!! I can't believe it is already here :D

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I do not own the characters of TV show teen wolf such as Scott, Derek, Allison, Stiles, and so on. I do not own the show teen wolf. I do not own the ideas of the TV show Teen Wolf. (Though I wish I could be such an amazing writer as the writer of Teen Wolf!!!) I do own my characters such as Emily and her friend Stephanie because I created the two girls.

Chapter 49 RECAP:

--Derek's POV:

His claws connected with my side as he threw me with ease across what used to be the front lawn of our home.

I hit the ground with a thud as he walked over to me on all fours.

"Don't interrupt me ever again." He snarled. "Anyways. I have a job for you."

I pushed my body upwards so I was sitting down on the cold forest floor. My side now ached where his claws had connected but I was too focused on Peter to care.

"There is a boy who knows to much about us. I need you to get ride of him before he exposes Scott and I."

"Scott?" I asked confused wondering who he could possibly know, who was a threat that I didn't already know about.

"His name is Jackson. He has been snooping around and he is very close to figuring out what Scott is. I marked him on accident, which only furthered his suspicions about our kind. I need you to kill him." He said as if he was talking about nothing important at all, when in reality we were talking about someone's life.

"If it helps any, this Jackson has been getting a little to close to Emily lately. His plan was to get with her so he could get close to her brother. That is why he was also at the club tonight. You should hear his heartbeat when he is around her. It rises like a loud beating drum. He has other plans with Em when he is done using her. You wouldn't like what he wanted to do to her." He said with a smirk.

I knew what he meant and it only made my anger rise. If Jackson ever touched her I would kill him, ironically enough. Peter stood up on his back legs, towering over me.

"Kill Jackson before he finds out. If you refuse, you know the consequences." He said, referring to Em and I could feel the authority in his voice.

I didn't have a choice. I would have to kill a human even though that went against everything I ever stood for.

Chapter 50:

(Saturday Afternoon- Day of the Full Moon)

--Emily's POV:

"How was spending the night at Stiles' last night?" Sean asked as he picked up my bag from sleeping over at Stiles' house out of the back seat of his car.

"Great." I chirped.

'More than great,' I thought to myself.

"That's good." He said as he pushed the door open to my house with his foot.

"Thanks." I mumbled as I walked past him into my house.

It was quiet as usual and it didn't appear that Scott was home as well.

As we walked into the kitchen I jumped as my mom stood there eating something while leaning against the counter.

"Gez Mom! You scared the crap out of me." I half yelled as Sean chuckled behind me, completely unaffected by my mother's sudden appearance.

"Oh hey Em, Sean." She said while smiling at us both. "Sorry, didn't mean to scare you. I just came home to grab a quick bite to eat and then head back to work."

Sean and I frowned at how tired she looked but there was nothing we could do about it.

"Here, I'll take that." I said while grabbing my bag out of Sean's hands.

He quickly released the bag from his grasp as he watched me carefully. I looked up at him and was confused because he looked very distressed.

"You ok?" I asked quietly enough so only he could hear.

"Yeah." He breathed as he shook his head to bring him back to reality.

What the heck was that all about?

"I don't believe you but ok." I smiled trying to cheer him up.

He chuckled and turned to my mom, walking in to the kitchen to talk to her, I suppose.

I lugged my bag up the stairs, to my room, and threw it on my bed. I groaned as I heard buzzing sounds coming from it. What in the world was I thinking when I shoved my phone into the abyss of bag?

I quickly unzipped it and began to throw clothes, a toothbrush, bras, and underwear out of it. Anything, you name it, came out of that stupid bag. I sighed as I saw my phone lying at the bottom of the bag. If it could talk, it would be laughing at me right now.

I snatched it out of the bag and flipped it open, reading one new text.

I smiled as I saw it was Derek. He was asking if we could meet at his apartment on Wednesday afternoon and I quickly texted him saying yes. I could feel butterflies in my stomach as I pressed send. I jumped onto my bed and giggle like a schoolgirl.

I froze as I realized how fast I was falling for this guy. After a few seconds a smile crept on my face. Sure, I was falling hard for Derek, but did I care? No, because I was more than happy about falling for him.

He was a great person and I felt like I could trust him with anything. He had never given me any reason not to trust him. When I was with him, especially in his arms, I felt so safe. Not to mention his looks and body. I laughed at myself. Sure, he was mysterious but who doesn't like mysterious?

"Hey Em!" Sean yelled from downstairs interrupting my thoughts.

"Yeah?" I yelled back.

"I'm going to the store. Want to come?" He said back.

"Sure!" I yelled once again.

I was up for anything right now because of my good mood. I was excited for Wednesday and what it would bring.

--Derek's POV:

I shut my phone as I sat leaning against a tree in the forest. A cool breeze made the trees sway back in forth above me.

I couldn't help but feel excited about Wednesday, but it still haunted me. I had asked Em to come over so I could tell her absolutely everything. She had a right to know what I really am and the truth especially because we were becoming so close and she was being watched by an Alpha.

It worried me slightly that I could be repeating history with Kate but Emily would never do anything like that. In a way I was excited for her to finally know I was a werewolf but I also was worried about how she would react. Hell, I didn't even know how to tell her.

I would have to worry about it later because I had a job to do tonight.

I had to get Jackson to my house to get rid of him. I kept wondering if I would be able to really do it. I didn't want to take his life; he had done nothing wrong really. Well, except for even laying eyes on Emily. I had never been so protective of someone in my life, except for my sister.

I sighed heavily as I thought of a plan to bring Jackson in. I would have to lure him in and I think I know exactly how to do it.

*****

(Saturday Night- The Night of the Full Moon)

It was almost pitch black outside now as the sun set over the tree line. The only light sources were the full moon and the field lights that lit up the Lacrosse field in front of me.

I watched as Jackson flung the ball from his lacrosse stick in to the net on the field. He seemed angry and frustrated and I didn't know why.

He had obviously been drinking. I could smell the alcohol all over him and around him. I silently hoped he had drunk enough that he wouldn't realize what was going on when I dug my claws into his neck. I hoped he would go peacefully.

I stepped out into light of the field and Jackson's head snapped towards me. I could feel the full moons effect on me when my instincts told me to attack but I pushed them back.

Not here.

"Hey! Who the hell are you?" He yelled in my direction.

I stepped closer to him and noticed his heart was racing.

Here goes nothing.

I closed my eyes for a few seconds and when I opened them I shifted. I didn't shift all the way, just my ears, teeth, and eyes. Just enough to get his attention and realize whom I was.

"You are one of them." He stuttered while taking a step back in fright.

"Yes and I have what you want." I spoke.

"How the hell do you know what I want?" He snapped and I had to fight snapping his neck at that instant.

'Rich brat,' I thought.

"I know you want to be like Scott and I. I know how you can get it." I said in a dangerously low tone.

He didn't say anything at first as he stood there in the middle of the field studying me.

"Ok. Tell me." He finally spoke, his demeanor changing to a cocky one.

"Follow me." I said as I shifted back into my human form and turned to walk into the forest.

A few seconds later, I could hear Jackson's frantic footsteps to catch up behind me. I was on edge as he caught up behind me and followed me towards my old home. I didn't know if I could really do this.

"So your werewolves, correct?" He asked suddenly with a chuckle.

I nodded my head, choosing not to speak anymore about anything until we got to the house.

It took a while to get to my old burnt home but as soon as we did I turned to Jackson and tried not to look him in the eyes. I thought it might be easier to do this if I didn't look at him.

'Coward.' I thought to myself.

"So where is it?" Jackson asked as he looked around impatiently.

"There." I said as I pointed towards my old home. It looked eerie as it stood in the opening in front of us.

Jackson glanced at me with uncertainty, and then began walking towards the old burnt home.

As his back was turning towards me, I slowly shifted. My ears coming to points, my canines turning into sharp points, and my face transforming slightly into my werewolf form. Lastly my eyes began to glow their icy blue as I watched my prey.

I walked somberly as I followed him towards the house.

This was it. Jackson stopped just as he reached the front steps to the house.

He turned around to see me fully transformed and I could hear his heartbeat quicken as his eyes widened in fear.

"Your not going to give me what I want are you? You are going to kill me." Jackson spoke as his voice shook.

I snarled at him, wanting him to just shut up. He fell to his knees in an attempt to beg for his life but it was no use. He knew he wasn't going to get what he wanted and had fallen into a trap.

I let the full moon take over as I raised my clawed hand to attack. It would be easier for me if I let my instincts take over and lose control.

"I'm sorry." I whispered.

I didn't even hear Scott running towards us until he had slammed his body into mine, moments before my claws could connect with Jackson's throat.

Scott and I both hit the ground with a dull thud and he pinned me to the ground. His arm held my chest down, keeping me in my place. I silently thanked him for stopping me but in the end it only delayed what had to be done. I had to do this to protect Emily.

"What the hell Derek?" Scott yelled and I noticed he was fully shifted as well.

Jackson was sitting near by in absolute shock from what had just happened.

Scott glanced at him then back to me. I made no effort to get Scott off me as we glared at one another. I breathed a sigh as I shifted back in to my human form.

Scott looked at me confused.

"Why we're you going to kill Jackson?" Scott growled.

"You have missed out on a lot." I spat knowing he had no idea what I had been doing since he left me in my home to die.

"Well fill me in. How the hell did you survive? You were pretty much dead when we left you." Scott asked as his eyes glowed an amber color.

"You don't need to know." I growled.

Scott seemed to ignore my reply as his heart rate sped up and his entire body tensed up. His eyes began to glow brighter and his breathing became heavy.

"Emily..." Was all he said as he raised a clawed fist that was intended for my face.

My fingers wrapped around his closed fist inches away from my face and I shoved him off of me. He stumbled slightly backwards from the force. I began to stand up and face him.

I didn't say anything as Scott stared at me with pure rage.

"So what she told me was true. You two are together?" Scott hissed and I could hear the anger dripping from his voice.

"Yes." Was all I said and before I knew it Scott was right in front of me, connecting a hit on my lower jaw.

I stumbled backwards but quickly recovered from the blow only a few feet away from him. He was a lot stronger from the full moon and I had underestimated him for tonight. But now that I knew he was stronger tonight, he wouldn't be able to land another blow. He wasn't fast enough for me.

Scott was breathing heavily as he stared at me with fire in his eyes.

"What in the hell?"

We both snapped our heads towards Jackson, who we had already forgotten about. He was sitting on the ground out in front of my old house.

The bite mark on my shoulder began to burn and I knew I hadn't completed what I had come here to do.

I began to walk towards Jackson but Scott stepped in between us.

"Why are you doing this?" Scott asked as he took a defensive position, to protect Jackson.

"I have to." I mumbled.

"What? That doesn't make any sense! He didn't do anything!" Scott yelled.

"He could expose us all." I growled as I took a step forward.

"He wouldn't know anything if you hadn't brought him out here in the first place!"

"Scott, he has been using Emily just to get close to you so he could get what you have." I said, trying to keep calm.

Scott looked at me confused like he had no idea what I was talking about.

"He wants the bite!" I snarled.

After a few seconds Scott looked at Jackson behind him.

"Is that true?" Scott asked, hoping it wasn't.

"Yes." Jackson stuttered.

"You don't want this." Scott growled lowly then turned back to me.

"That isn't reason enough to kill him. I know you Derek and you don't kill people, especially for things like this."

I could feel myself starting to regret ever agreeing to killing off the kid but a sudden sharp pain ran through my shoulder had me thinking straight again. This was the only way to keep her safe.

"Scott, move." I growled as I took another step towards the two, "The Alpha wants him dead."

Scott's eyes widened as he stared at me.

"Your working with the Alpha now?" He asked.

"No." I snapped.

"Then why are you listening to him? Who is the Alpha?" He asked and I could tell he was completely confused.

"The last of my blood line. My uncle, Peter." I said as shame filled me.

Scott stood there taking in all the new information a lot better than I thought he would.

"Why are you listening to him? Does he have control over you?"

"Somewhat."

"Derek, you don't have to do this." He said as he began to shift back into his human form. "We can help you find him and kill him. You don't have to do this at all."

I wished I could listen to him but I needed to do this.

"I do. He is going to hurt Emily if I don't." I spoke in a low tone and you could hear the remorse in my voice.

Scott looked like he was getting angrier.

"He won't touch my sister." He growled.

"I know." I said with confidence and a sad smile as I lunged forwards.

I pushed past Scott with ease and was just a mere inch away from tearing a hole into Jackson's throat. I glanced at his face and he was frozen in fear. This time Scott didn't have to stop me though.

I yelled out in pain as an arrow shot straight through my abdomen. I fell to the ground in front of Jackson as I held on to the arrow that was piercing my skin. Blood began to fall from my wound as I lay on the cold forest floor in pain.

"Derek!" Scott yelled but I heard a grunt and soon after he fell to the ground with arrows piercing his shoulder and chest.

With as much force as I could muster I held on tight to the end of the arrow in me and yanked it out of my abdomen. You could hear flesh and skin tearing as it fell to the ground next to me.

I could instantly smell her disgusting scent as well as three other men approaching us.

"Kate." I spat.

I grabbed Jackson's collar and drug him towards Scott, my abdomen protesting the entire time.

I threw him next to Scott, who was lying on the ground trying to get the arrows free from his body but he couldn't. I reached down and I ripped the arrows out of Scott's body without hesitation. He howled out in pain but his wounds started to heal instantly and I helped him stand.

"Both of you get out of here!" I growled as I transformed and turned to face the hunters who were approaching us quickly.

I heard Scott help Jackson move behind me, towards the forest.

Just as I could no longer hear the two boys footsteps, the hunter appeared in front of me at the tree line. I breathed a sigh of relief knowing the two got away. I would have to deal with Jackson later.

Kate stood at the front of the hunters behind her and her eyes met mine. Everything was happening so fast.

Kate pulled back another arrow that flew next to me with lightening speed. It hit a tree and exploded, emitting a bright light that blinded me temporarily.

It blinded me for long enough for Kate to shoot another arrow into my stomach and then another into my right thigh. I fell to my knees and I could barely see them approaching me now. I shook my head in a last attempt to clear my vision so I could at least put up a fair fight but it was useless. They had me exactly where the wanted me.

They all stopped a few feet in front of me but Kate stepped forward. She grabbed my chin roughly in her hands and pulled my face up to look at her. I was helpless to do anything as the arrows penetrating my body rendered me completely useless.

"Hello Derek." She smirked.

She was dangerously close to me as she pulled a gun out from her shirt and pointed it at me.

The last thing I remember was her evil smile and the loud sound of a gun ringing in my ears.
