Chapter 39

I know this late and I am really sorry but I literally fell asleep writing this last night after I got home and haven't been home all day until now :(

Oh and the picture is a picture of Officer Sean :)

I do not own the characters of TV show teen wolf such as Scott, Derek, Allison, Stiles, and so on. I do not own the show teen wolf. I do not own the ideas of the TV show Teen Wolf. (Though I wish I could be such an amazing writer as the writer of Teen Wolf!!!) I do own my characters such as Emily and her friend Stephanie because I created the two girls.

Chapter 39:

--Emily's POV:

I was taking one of the longest showers of my life a sudden knock on my bathroom door made me turn off the water to see who it was.

"Em?" Mom's voice was muffled through the bathroom door but I could still tell who it was.

"Yeah?" I yelled so she could hear me.

"Sheriff Stilinski is here to speak with you!"

I sighed deeply. I had completely forgotten that he was coming by this morning to talk to me.

"Ok! I will be right out!" I said while turning the faucet back on to finish up with my shower.

A few minutes later I was done and already dressed. I went with my lazy attire once again, a long sleeve, grey sweatshirt with black running shorts. I pulled my hair back in to a loose bun and put some makeup on, to hide the bags under my eyes from crying and lack of sleep.

I took a deep and long breath standing at my door, preparing myself for what Mr. Stilinski was going to say. He wasn't exactly the barer of great news lately.

Slowly opening my door and making my way down stairs I turned to the kitchen. Standing in the kitchen was my mom, Mr. Stilinski, the officer from last night, and another officer I didn't recognize. As soon as I walked into the kitchen they all grew silent. All four of them smiled at me after a while and greeted me into the kitchen.

"Morning." I said looking at all of them.

"Morning Em. How did you sleep?" Mr. Stilinski asked.

I shrugged as I made my way next to my mother and he chuckled.

"Well I just came here to introduce you to your new 'body guard' as you might say and to let you in on how things are going to be from now on."

Nodding my head I looked over to the new officer and smiled.

"This is Officer Sean. He is going to be watching over you for the time being so please stay out of trouble and do not make his job harder than it needs to be."

"Ok." I said smiling but holding in my anxiety knowing I was going to make his job a living hell. I didn't want to make it hard on him but I needed answers.

"Nice to meet you." He said while giving me a warm smile and holding out his hand to me which I shook. He was a pretty attractive guy, not even a few years older than me. But don't get me wrong, not to be rude at all but I wasn't interested. He had blonde hair, dull blue eyes, and was dressed in the typical Beacon Hills police officer attire.

"Nice to meet you too." I replied while returning back to my mother's side.

"Officer Sean has been working for us for over a year and is an expert in protective custody matters." Mr. Stilinski boasted.

I groaned in my head. Great, maybe sneaking out wouldn't be such a great idea.

"He is only here for your protection, not to invade your privacy at all. So if he is bothering you, don't be afraid to ask him to keep his distance."

"It won't offend me. I understand how you feel and will respect your request." Sean added with another smile.

"Thanks." I said gratefully. I was glad this wasn't going to be like I was under house arrest.

"Well that's pretty much it. He will explain all the rules and guidelines to you. I need to get back to the department." Mr. Stilinski groaned.

I felt myself perk up.

"Rules and guidelines?" You could hear the distaste in my voice.

They all laughed and shook their heads but I didn't find it funny at all.

"Yes Em. He will explain it all when I leave." Mr. Stilinski replied, "Now be safe. Il come by whenever I can to check up on you and Scott."

Mom led him and the other officer who hadn't said a word the whole time to the door. This left me and Officer Sean awkwardly alone in the kitchen.

To my relief he finally broke the silence.

"First order of business, drop the officer Sean crap. Just call me Sean." He said chuckling.

That's when I noticed that he had waited until Mr. Stilinski had left to tell me that. He must have not wanted to get in trouble for being so casual around him,

I smiled at him and agreed. Officer Sean was to perfesional for my taste anyway.

"Is your brother home? I want to let him know all the guidelines as well."

"Yup. He should be out of the shower by now." I said before turning around and yelling for him but there were no replies for upstairs.

After waiting a while for him to come downstairs, I sighed knowing I would have to get Scott myself.

"Sorry, excuse me for a second. Il go get him." But, before I could leave the kitchen, Sean stopped me.

"No it's fine. Il just explain everything to him later if that's ok?" He said while learning against the kitchen counter.

"Sure, I didn't feel like running up the stairs anyway." I joked.

"Lazy." He chuckled.

I looked at him half shocked and half amused that he was acting so casual and friendly. I didn't expect him to be so like me, a smartass, in a good way.

"I am not lazy! Anyways, explain to me my 'rules' please."

"Guidelines." He corrected with another frown.

"Sorry, Guidelines." I corrected myself.

"No problem." He said while pulling out a paper from his pocket. "Sorry, but this is about to get boring for the both of us, because I have to read you all of these. I need you to listen to me carefully."

"It's ok. I don't mind."

It took about twenty minutes for Sean to explain everything, partly because I asked a lot of questions. He chuckled at all my questions and it wasn't as bad as I thought.

In all, my guidelines were pretty simple. Sean would always be within five minutes or less of me. I was to not go anywhere without him. I was to contact him regularly if he wasn't near and to let him know if I was going somewhere so he could go with me, but he would keep his distance. He would even be at school with me, but he would be in the school offices. I was thankful for that because I didn't want the unwanted attention I would get if he had to follow me around like a puppy dog.

"Think of me as a friend please. I hate when I do these jobs and the person I'm protecting thinks of me as an officer or body guard."

I nodded my head knowing that would be somewhat easy to do considering how he acted. He seemed very nice and easy going which was a plus.

"Do you always have to wear the uniform?" I wondered out loud. If he was going to follow me around from now on I didn't want that kind of attention.

"Sadly yes." He pouted and I laughed at his childish manner.

"Trust me, if I could, I would already be out of this thing." he added while motioning to his officer uniform. "Well I would change into something else, not walk around naked."

We both laughed at his last comment and then continued to talk about things.

Before long, we were talking about things that had nothing to do with him being my new body guard. He was easy to talk to and that was something I needed right now. Of course, I didn't speak a single word about Derek.

"So what are you up to today since your skipping school?"

"Well first off, I'm not skipping school. My mom isn't letting me go and as for today, I am doing nothing."

He chuckled and nodded his head. "Well if you need anything I will be outside for now. Here's my number and I will need yours as well."

"Ok." I said while taking out my phone and telling him my number.

He snapped his phone shut after he gave me his number and sighed.

"You going to be ok?" He asked as I walked him to the door.

"Yup!" I said while opening the door to let him out.

"Well just let me know, I will be in the car."

I nodded my head and shut the door. I felt bad that he was going to be outside alone but I needed to plan how to sneak out tonight.
