Chapter 33

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I do not own the characters of TV show teen wolf such as Scott, Derek, Allison, Stiles, and so on. I do not own the show teen wolf. I do not own the ideas of the TV show Teen Wolf. (Though I wish I could be such an amazing writer as the writer of Teen Wolf!!!) I do own my characters such as Emily and her friend Stephanie because I created the two girls.

Chapter 33:

--Emily’s POV:

Before I could do anything I felt his lips over my own. My body reacted immediately, returning his kiss.

It was such a gentle and loving kiss. I had never experienced anything like it before in my life. I felt like I was on cloud nine. Nothing else in the world mattered right now and nothing else existed except for us.

He pulled away and placed his forehead against mine. His hands reached up towards my face and held it in between his large hands.

I smiled and covered his hands with my own.

“Your welcome.” I whispered.

I closed my eyes and wished this moment would never end.

Derek’s hands left my face and slowly inched down towards my waist. The space in between us was almost painful.

My eyes shot open as his hands grabbed hold of my waist and he lifted me with ease up onto the kitchen counter.  I shivered as the cold counter hit my butt earning a light chuckle from Derek.

I frowned as he looked like he was in pain now from using his hurt shoulder to lift me up.

“I’m ok.” He reassured me with a smile.

His hands slowly went down from my waist to my thighs as he stood in between my legs. I could feel his fingers leaving trails of warmth on my skin through my jeans. He looked unbelievably sexy, as he stood there shirtless.

He brought up one of his hands to my face and pushed a strand of hair out of my face. His warm fingers ran across my cool cheek.

I couldn’t help but smile as our eyes met. His green eyes felt like they were piercing into my own. I could feel the burning between us as we looked at one another. I had never felt like this about any other guy and no one had ever made me feel like this. His hand lay against my cheek as he leaned forward and brought his lips to mine again.

This time our kiss was much more passionate but still gentle. His other hand ran down my leg then back up making chills run through my spine.

I brought one of my hands up, and ran it through his hair. He began to wrap his arms around my waist and my back.

He deepened the kiss as he slid my body to the edge of the counter top pulling me closer to him. I was so close to him that my butt was now barely on the counter. Wrapping my legs around him, I earned a groan from him. I could feel his smile against my lips as we kissed. He obviously really liked how I was now sitting.

I could now feel his fingers against my back, slowly sliding down it. When they reached the bottom I realized his fingers were beginning to dig into my back. Then I felt multiple sharp things running along my back. I wasn’t sure if it was Derek’s nails but it was beginning to hurt a little but nothing horrible. I arched my back, trying to release the pressure of the sharp objects on my back but ended up accidently pushing myself harder onto Derek, earning me another groan from Derek.

Out of nowhere he pulled away from me and the sharp objects disappeared from my back. I looked at Derek confused. He had his eyes closed and he was breathing heavily.

Panic hit me as I watched him. “Derek, are you ok?”

Did it go to far this time? Did I go too far? Were we moving to fast? I felt myself stiffen as I tried to figure out what I had done wrong.

He didn’t answer as he placed his hands on either side of me on the counter. His breathing was still heavy and his head was lowered so I couldn’t get a good look at his face.

Before I could speak again I noticed his shoulder. A crimson color was seeping through the wrappings around his shoulder.

“Derek! You’re bleeding again!” I said, realizing that’s what was wrong. He was in pain.

--Derek’s POV:

I wasn’t breathing heavy from the pain. Everything Emily was thinking wasn’t true. I was breathing heavy because I had almost shifted. When she had wrapped her legs around my waist I had lost it. My nails had almost clawed up her back and I felt horrible about it. I kept my eyes closed, knowing they were still glowing an icy blue.

I was so pissed off at myself for letting it happen so easily. It was like I had no control over myself around her. Em’s quickened heartbeat brought me from my thoughts.

“Derek?” She said concerned.

Her small hand can towards my face and lifted my chin so she could see my face. I couldn’t even open my eyes because I hadn’t been able to transform my eyes back yet. I felt myself start to panic as I could feel her eyes on me.

Just then I felt her lips against mine in a sweet, short kiss. Her warm lips left my own and I felt myself relax, allowing me to completely shift back. Slowly my eyes had changed back and I opened them.

Em stared back at me with concern. A smile crept on to my face as she breathed a sigh of relief.

“What happened?” She asked.

“My shoulder got the best of me. I just got really lightheaded, sorry.” I lied cursing on the inside.

“Oh. Sorry, I just thought I might have done something wrong.”

“No.” I chuckled.

She had done absolutely nothing wrong, in fact she had done everything right. Em was the definition of right. Everything about her was right in my eyes and I felt like nothing would ever change that. I wanted nothing more than to kiss her all over but I had to take this at her speed. Not that I minded, I would wait for forever if she wanted to.

“Your smiling Derek.” She said smiling and breaking me out of my thoughts once again.

“When I came back to Beacon Hills, I never thought in a million years I would find someone like you.” I felt myself tense, realizing I had accidently spoken what was on my mind.

Em’s smile grew as she took in my words.

“Well I am glad you did.” She said, suddenly wrapping her arms around me.

I returned her smile, wrapping my arms around her small figure and gently kissing her forehead. I know this sounds really girly but I had never felt like this before and I loved the feeling.

*****

--Emily’s POV:

It had been at least two weeks since Derek had been attacked. He was now completely healed and I was so happy about it. Other than Derek being injured, that weekend had to have been one of the best weekends I had had in a while. Derek and I had spent the whole weekend together.

The two weeks had flown by, and it was already Friday again. Of course, I was excited to spend it with Derek again.

Derek had even been picking me up from school almost everyday for the last two weeks. Scott had started to ask questions, such as how I was getting home everyday and I had to lie to him. I would always tell him I was getting a ride home from Steph or some other friend.

The only thing bad about my life right now was that my grades were paying the price for me always being at Derek’s. When I told him about my grades he insisted that he help with my homework and so on because I never finished it. I was always with Derek and by the time I got home, ate, showered, and talked to Scott or mom, it was way to late to even start working on my homework. I would always start my homework then I would end up falling asleep in the middle of it.

Since Derek had started helping me with it, my grades had begun to slowly rise again.  Thankfully, my mom was to busy at work to notice my grades. I had barely seen her the last two weeks.

Everything in my life was so good right now.

(A/N) For those of you who do not watch Teen Wolf I just wanted to remind you of someone. The next part is in Jackson’s POV. In previous chapters, I explained that he was the captain on the Lacrosse team at the school. Picture to the right. He is also a really big jerk and is also the one who got knocked out by Scott on the field during practice. Sorry if I sound like I am going on and on. I just feel like Jackson’s POV is kind of out of nowhere in the story so I just wanted to let you guys know just in case you forgot who he was.

--Jackson’s POV:

“What do you want me to get?” I asked dryly.

Looking over at my girlfriend Lydia, I noticed her looking in her mirror completely ignoring me. I had much better things to be doing right now. Like figuring out the plays for our next game. Better yet, on how to keep Scott McCall from playing. I smiled evilly at the thought. That no body had something up his sleeve and I was determined to figure out what it was. There was no way he had improved his game that quickly. It wasn’t humanly possible. And, don’t think I haven’t noticed his change in behavior. I didn’t know if it was drugs or something more but I would find out either way and use it to my advantage.

“Lydia!”

“What?” She said while rolling her eyes.

“What movie do you want me to get?” I asked completely annoyed with her. I hated watching movies all the time.

“I don’t care Jackson, just get a freaking movie and hurry up.” She snapped while turning back to her mirror. Her hands ran through her long cherry blonde hair then she applied more of her blood red lipstick.

I rolled my eyes. She was lucky she was hot.

I got out and slammed my Porsche door shut with a loud bang, making my way to the old video store.

I hated wasting money on a freaking movie. Knowing Lydia and myself, we wouldn’t even make it through the entire movie with out getting bored and just have sex.

I chuckled knowing it was the truth and I was fine with it.

Reaching for the door I swung it open. It screeched on its hinges, as it swung closed behind me. The lighting was dim from cheap lighting as I approached the counter. No one was there as I placed my hands on the cool counter. Scanning behind the counter I still couldn’t see anyone.

“Piece of shit place.” I mumbled under my breath.

Before turning around to leave I couldn’t help but notice something out of the corner of my eye on the ground.

Leaning over the counter I felt myself grow sick.

The video store clerk lay lifeless behind the counter on the ground. His eyes were pail and drained of life as he stared up at me, a look of horror permanently plastered on his face. Blood covered the floor around him, staining the carpet.

I shook myself, begging my feet to move but I couldn’t peal my eyes away from the sight in front of me, even when I could hear something moving behind me.

Not even a second later it felt like a bus had run into me. The air was knocked out of my lungs as I was struck to the floor, being pinned down by someone or something.

“What the hell!” I yelled but quickly regret it as my eyes wandered to the sight above me.

I stared wide-eyed as a huge monster covered in black fur hovered over me. I could feel my body shake as its breath hit me. This had to be a dream, this couldn’t be happening.

I knew it wasn’t a dream when his large claws digging into my shoulder causing me pain. It lowered its head down to me. It smelled horrible, like a dog that had never taken a bath in its life.

My usual cocky manner was replaced with fear as it ripped my arm open with its claws. Blood oozed out as it growled at me.

I couldn’t even breathe, as it looked down at me, its eyes glowing red. I could have sworn it was smiling at me. I had never seen something so evil in my life.

“Wha… What do you want?” I stuttered.

It revealed its sharp teeth and lowered its head so it was only a few inches away from my face. It lowered its head and inhaled sharply sending shivers down my spine.

“Scott.” It growled in an almost demonic voice.

“Scott?”

What the hell does he have to do with this monster?

It turned its head to the right slightly and smiled again.

“He has the answers.” It growled again.

As soon as the beast had appeared, it had left. The weight was gone off of me and I felt like I could finally breathe again.

My arm ached as I tried to sit up. It wasn’t a horrible sight to my surprise, just a few puncture wounds.

Just then a huge wave of pain shot through my arm and then through my body. I didn’t even have the strength to scream as my body thrashed around on the cheap carpet floor. What the hell was happening to me?

Its words repeated in my mind, Scott had all the answers.

My eyes slowly closed as I blacked out.

*****

Bright lights and voices slowly brought me back to reality. Opening my eyes I noticed a steady beeping sound as I realized I was in a hospital. Looking down at my hand I noticed something connected to my finger. It was monitoring my heartbeat.

I tried to move my other hand but something was latched onto it. Looking over to my left, Lydia lay with her head on the side of the bed obviously asleep. Her petite hand wrapped around my own.

I sighed rolling my head over towards the door. Nurses ran frantically back and forth in the hallway outside the room.

One stopped and looked inside the room. She smiled, noticing I was awake and walked in the room.

“Welcome back.” She said.

Lydia stirred next to me; she raised her head and looked up at me.

“Jackson!” She chirped with a big smile. “Your awake!”

“No shit.” I mumbled while rolling my eyes.

“Well aren’t you the charmer.” The nurse said sarcastically.

She stood by my side and frowned.

“That was a nasty bite.” She said motioning to my arm that was now wrapped up.

“It should heal soon though but I can’t guarantee there won’t be a scar.”

I looked at arm and sighed. I didn’t really care if there was going to be a scar; I just wanted to know what the hell attacked me last night and what it had to do with Scott.

Looking back at the nurse I noticed her name tag.

“McCall?” I questioned. “Scott and Emily’s mom?”

Oh, what a coincidence. I had completely forgotten that his mom was a nurse here.

“Yes, the one and only.” She said letting out a deep breath. “Are you friends with them?”

“Yes. I play on the team with Scott and Lydia here is friends with Emily.” I lied about the friendships.

“Its Em.” She said.

“Sorry.” I said turning on my charm.

“Well that’s nice to know that they are hanging out with more than just one person.” She laughed sarcastically before turning around towards the door when someone walked in.

I recognized him instantly as the sheriff of Beacon Hills.

“The sheriff is here though. He needs to ask you a few questions about last night.” Mrs. McCall said.

“Il leave you two. Can you come with me?” She said to Lydia.

“Yes.” Lydia said in an annoyed tone. She didn’t want to leave but she didn’t have a choice.

Both left as the sheriff walked in. I knew it was that kid, Stiles’ dad but I didn’t exactly care.

He took the chair that Lydia had been sitting in and turned it around, taking a seat in it backwards.

“Jackson is it?” He asked smiling.

“Yeah.” I didn’t have time for small talk.

“Why don’t you tell me what happened last night at the video store.”

It took about an hour or so to talk to him. I told him I didn’t see what had attacked me. He looked like he didn’t exactly believe me but went along with it for now.

I was told I was going to be released from the hospital tonight if I was ready. I was more then excited to leave this place. I needed to get home so I could put my plan into action. I would get my answers from Scott, no matter what.

--Scott’s POV:

“So you mean to tell me that Derek, the creepy wolf man, is going to be training you?” Stiles yelled.

“Do I have any other options? And keep your voice down!” I replied while walking through the hallways at school. It was our free period and I didn’t want to waist it.

“Well, if he gets to train you then so do I.” Stiles said, crossing his arms stubbornly.

“And how are you going to do that?”

“Scott have you noticed that every time you are excited you end up going wolf?”

“Yes?”

“Well, I think it has to do with your heartbeat. Whenever your heartbeat rises, you transform. We need to be able to control your heartbeat. Control your heartbeat, control your transformations.”

“So what do you have in mind?”

“Lacrosse!” He yelped. “Nothing else can raise your heart beat like Lacrosse, well except for Allison.”

I smiled as my mind wondered towards thoughts of Allison. A hard smack on my chest brought me back into reality.

“Scott? Stop thinking about Allison and let’s go. We don’t have much time until free periods over.”

“Hey guys!” We both spun around to see Em practically skipping over to us.

We both smiled, greeting her. She was awful cheerful today. Scratch that. She has been over cheerful for last few weeks. Maybe she was excited to be back at school or something like that.

“What are you guys doing for free period? I can’t find Allison or Steph so I am free game to whatever you guys are doing.” She said, her smile beaming.

“We were going out to the fields to play some lacrosse. You are more than welcome to come.” Stiles chirped.

“Sure.” She said, following suit behind us as we made our way to the backdoors.

Maybe having Em here was a good idea. I felt like I would have a lesser chance of transforming in front of her because she didn’t know about me. I had a feeling Stiles had a similar idea as well when he invited her to come watch us play.

It didn’t take long for us to make it to the fields outside. Em took a seat at the bottom corner of the bleachers while Stiles and I made our way to the middle of the field. I really hoped this was going to help.

--Emily’s POV:

I watched as the two boys played roughly out in the field. I had no idea why Stiles was being so hard on Scott but it seemed like Scott was giving it right back to him. Stiles had even slammed Scott into the ground a few times.

I gasped as Stiles roughly pushed him over. I could never see Scott’s face but Stiles always had a grin planted on his face.

As I watched them I couldn’t help but feel like I was being watched. As I turned towards the school to see if my feeling was true, I noticed someone walking towards us, more like towards me. As he approached I recognized him and groaned inwardly.

It was Jackson. I didn’t hate him but I definitely didn’t care for him. He was always so rude and cocky towards others. I had been fortunate to have not tasted his wrath but I had a feeling the day would be coming soon.

Sighing I put on a half fake smile.

“Hey!” He said a little too friendly.

“Hi.” I said back.

His hands were shoved in his jacket pockets as he moved closer to me. He was wearing his usual jock jacket and blue jeans. His blonde hair styled to perfection.

I watched him curiously as he leaned against the bleachers next to me and I couldn’t help but feel uncomfortable at how close we were.

“What are they up to?” He asked while nodding his head towards the two boys out in the field.

“Practicing.” I said in a polite tone.

“Oh.” He replied then turned to me. “Not that Scott needs it. I can’t help but notice how well Scott’s game had been since school started. Any ideas on how?”

“I know. I don’t know what happened to him. Maybe something just clicked.” I said looking up at him and grinning. Jackson must be jealous of Scott’s new skills.

Our eyes met and I could feel myself shutter. Jackson was a player and I wasn’t comfortable at all around him.

“Hm.” He said then took a deep breath, stretching his toned arms high above his head.

I couldn’t help but smirk; Jackson’s toned arms had nothing on Derek’s.

“So Em, I have been wondering. I am going to this party soon and I wanted to invite you to come with me.”

I did a double take as my jaw dropped, “Don’t you have a girlfriend Jackson? Remember your girlfriend Lydia?”

Jackson’s manly laugh filled my ears.

“No. I just wanted to know if you wanted to tag along? There’s going to be a ton of people there. Bring Steph with you. I am sure she would be delighted to go considering who all will be there.” He said with a wink.

I squinted my eyes at him as I could feel myself growing angry. I knew he was referring to himself and the other cuter guys that would be going. It was no secret that Steph got around with the guys at our school, if you know what I mean, but there was no way in hell I was going to let this ass talk about my friend like that.

“No thanks.” I said glaring at him and turning my attention back to the field hoping he would just go away.

Unfortunately he didn’t leave. Instead I felt him move closer to me. His hot breath against the back of my neck making my hair stand on end.

Desperately looking over to Scott and Stiles, I noticed they had no idea this guy was harassing me. I rolled my eyes, silently and sarcastically thanking them for looking out for me.

“Please reconsider. I did not mean that offensively towards Steph. I just know you two hang out a lot and she loves going to parties like this.” He said.

I was surprised by the sincerity in his voice. I leaned forwards and turned around to look at him. The old metal bleachers screeched under me because of the rust as I turned.

He had this smile I had never seen from him. I never thought I would ever say this, but Jackson Whitmore looked trustworthy.

“Uh. I guess we could see.” I found myself saying.

“But, I wont be tagging along with you. Il show up with my friends whenever we want.” I added, knowing I had struck a nerve.

Jackson smiled sweetly at me and nodded his head. “That is fine with me. Il let you know times and the address soon. See you around?”

“Sure.” I said returning his smile. This time my smile not as fake as before.

Jackson turned and began to walk away.

I put my head in my hands and breathed a heavy sigh. My gut was telling me that Jackson was up to something and I knew it was true.

What had I just gotten myself into?
