Chapter 32

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I do not own the characters of TV show teen wolf such as Scott, Derek, Allison, Stiles, and so on. I do not own the show teen wolf. I do not own the ideas of the TV show Teen Wolf. (Though I wish I could be such an amazing writer as the writer of Teen Wolf!!!) I do own my characters such as Emily and her friend Stephanie because I created the two girls.

Chapter 32:

--Derek's POV:

"Il pick you up in five."

"Ok. See you then!" Emily chirped on the other line of the phone.

I hung up the phone and stepped on the pedal harder. I was going to pick up Em from her house so we could go get something to eat. She obviously had a bad day at school and I wanted to make it better for her and because it was Friday, it meant we had all night. For both of our sakes, I hoped we didn't have the same incident reoccur this weekend as last weekend. I wouldn't and didn't want to be able to control myself if she decided to strip in my living room again.

I could feel my heart beat begin to race when I remembered her standing in my living room with nothing on. Her long brown hair flowed neatly over her breasts and her thin figure was enough to throw any man overboard. I shook my head trying to get the image out of my head.

I wanted to make this weekend a good weekend after everything that had happened.

I felt horrible that I had put her through hell once again, me being arrested in front of her and all. It pissed me off that Scott had pulled that stunt because it had caused so many problems. But in the end I now had Scott on my side so at least something good came from it.

I didn't exactly know how I was going to train him but I would have to try. He had to be able to control it especially if he was going to be around Em. I would personally rip out his throat if he ever wasn't able to control his transformation and he hurt her.

Buildings and trees flew past the car at dangerous speeds.

A sudden whiff of something had me slowing down the car.

It smelled exactly like the Alpha. He had to be near.

Slowing down to almost a complete stop I pulled out my phone and texted Em saying I was going to be late. Hopefully not to late.

Throwing the car in park, I swung open the door and got out. The lighting was dim because the sun had just gone down. Thankfully barely anyone was out.

Stepping out into the cold air I caught the Alpha's scent again. This time though something was off. Someone else was here as well. Looking around, I couldn't see anyone but I knew they were here.

The breeze picked up, carrying whoever's scent with it. My body tensed when I realized who else was here.

"Kate." I spat.

Kate was the woman who had destroyed my life. I was young and stupid when I met her for the first time. I had fallen hard for her but she was just using me to get close to my family. They trusted her, I trusted her.

Well turns out, she was a hunter. When I was at school with my sister, she burned down my house.

I could feel myself transforming out of anger and I let it happen.

That bitch had ruined everything. I blamed myself for my families demise because if it wasn't for me, my family might still be alive.

A sudden howl snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked up to the top of the roof just in time to see the Alpha jump from roof to roof. His black coat shone bright in the moonlight.

Running towards the building I latched on to the side with my claws and climbed up the building. Reaching the top, I threw myself over and landed on the gravel covering the roof. Scanning the roof, the Alpha was nowhere to be seen but I knew he was here.

Snarling in disgust, I shook my head. Kate's scent was extremely distracting. She must be here tracking the Alpha as well. A gunshot rang through the air, proving my theory.

Running across the roof I looked over the edge. Kate stood at the bottom of the building next to her car with a rather large shotgun tucked under her arm. Her thin, tall figure was wrapped in a black leather jacket and tight jeans. She wore her usual black boots.

She was staring at the building next to the one I was standing on. I followed her eyes to the roof that was a lot lower then the one I was on.

Standing on its back legs was the Alpha. He stood there staring back at her challenging her to take a shot at him.

I placed my hands on the ledge, focusing on the Alpha. I couldn't let Kate kill him. Sneaking down the roof, I used pipes that were connected to the building side to make my way down to the other roof were I could get to the Alpha.

Jumping down I made a small amount of noise when my feet hit the gravel on the second roof. I thought it was unnoticed but I was wrong. The Alpha's head snapped towards me and so did Kate's.

Kate turned towards me, with the gun pointed right at me.

A shot rang out again and I can't even begin to explain the amount of pain that ran from my shoulder to my body.

The bullet knocked me to the ground. It didn't help that I was so close to the edge of the roof. I didn't have time to comprehend that I was falling before my body hit the earth hard. I had landed in the alleyway in between the two buildings and my body ached as I lay on the cold cement on my back.

My vision blurred and the pain increased in my shoulder. It didn't take long for me to realize the bitch had poisoned the bullet.

I heard light footsteps approaching me and I knew it was Kate. Her boots jingled with every step. I tried to roll over to escape but the pain was too much.

"Well look what we have here." Her voice was like poison itself.

My vision came back somewhat and I was able to see her standing over me.

"Oh Derek. It has been way to long."

"Not long enough." I groaned. It hurt horribly to talk.

She replied by planting her foot into my face. My head hit the ground violently once again sending me spiraling again.

"Now that's not very nice."

"Why are you here?"

"Oh I think you already know the answer to that Derek. I am here for the Alpha and by the looks of it; you are here for him too. And, thanks to you, he escaped." She said while looking around. Her long blonde hair swung around in the wind.

I let out a sharp breath as the pain hit me like a bus again. Kate turned her attention to me again and gave me a wicked smile.

"Sorry about that Derek." She said while smiling and pointing towards my bleeding shoulder. Looking down at my aching body, I noticed bruises forming on my arms and I was almost positive bruises were forming under my clothes as well. Small cuts caused patches of blood to seep through my shirt but the most prominent one was on my shoulder. Blood almost poured out of the bullet wound.

"No problem." I growled sarcastically.

"Oh Derek, how I have missed you." she squatted down to my level and pulled something out of her pocket. "Here. I don't want you dying just yet. I haven't had enough fun with you."

She opened her hand, reveling a huge bullet. It was the same kind of bullet she has used to shoot me. "You know what to do with this I presume."

I nodded my head defeated. She had the upper hand right now and she knew it.

"Now sweetheart, I would get out of here before my brother shows up." She laughed.

I knew she didn't care if I was here when her brother showed up but I didn't want to be here when he did. I snatched the bullet from her open hand and attempted to stand. My arm gave out and I fell again. Kate's evil laugh echoed in my ears.

"Goodbye Derek. Il be seeing you soon." She said before turning around and making her way out towards the street.

I could feel the poison coursing through my veins and I knew I didn't have much time.

--Emily's POV:

Pacing back and forth in my room I stared down at my phone. I was worried about Derek. An hour had passed and he still wasn't here. I texted him, hoping he was just caught up somewhere. It wasn't like Derek to be late.

I jumped as my phone began ringing. Looking down at my phone I saw it was Derek calling. I picked it up quickly.

"Derek?" I asked.

The other line was quiet but I could barely hear something in the background but it sounded like he was in his car. I smiled realizing he must of 'butt dialed' me.

"Dere..." A sudden weak yell on the other line stopped me mid sentence. He sounded like he was in pain.

"Derek!" I yelled into the phone hoping he would hear me.

Fear began to run through my veins. The first thing that ran through my mind was those men from the other night attacked him. The same men who had stopped us on the other side of the road. The other thought was that he had been attacked by whatever has been killing people around town and what had killed his sister.

I quickly threw on my jacket and ran out the front door, but not before grabbing mom's keys. I reluctantly kept the phone to my ear. I could hear a door slam and then another loud bang. I felt my chest tighten as I heard another yell of pain on the other line. He must be at his apartment now. Why in the hell was he not going to a hospital?

I was flying down the road in my mom's car not caring what the speed limit was. I didn't exactly remember how to get to Derek's apartment but I had a pretty good idea of where it was.

The tires squealed as I took a sharp turn when I noticed the familiar building coming up on my right. Pulling into a parking space I jumped out of the car and ran towards the old looking building hoping everything was ok. Running up the stairs I stumbled but quickly recovered.

Reaching his door I hesitated for a second before opening the door.

I wasn't surprised when the door wasn't locked. Derek didn't seem like the kind of person to be scared to leave his door unlocked.

When I opened the door it was completely dark in the apartment. All I could think about when I stepped in was that this is so clique. I half expected a monster to jump out of the darkness and take me away, never to be seen again. Shaking my head, I began to focus on finding Derek.

"Derek?" I said but there was no answer.

I sneaked over towards the kitchen and peaked my head around the corner while turning on the light but couldn't find him. Making my way to the bathroom I looked in but still no luck.

Just before I left the bathroom to search his room I noticed something all over the bathroom floor.

Curious to see what it was, I flipped on the light switch and was met by what looked like a murder scene. Bloody clothes and paper towels littered the floor. Blood was all over the sink and the counter top. I felt like I was going to be sick. I had never seen so much blood in my life.

I quickly turned off the light and ran towards the bedroom, stumbling over everything because I couldn't see. If I couldn't find Derek I was going to call the police. There was no way Derek could lose that much blood and be ok.

Stopping in the doorway, I tried to find the light switch but I couldn't find it. Running my hands along the wall next to the door with no luck. I stood in complete darkness listening to any signs of Derek.

A weak moan came from in front of me.

"Derek!"

I quickly made my way towards the sound, bumping into something soft. I recognized it as a bed and placed my hands on top of it feeling around. My hands ran over the smooth fabric but still no Derek.

"Em." I barely heard my name being spoken but I knew it was him and he didn't sound good.

"I'm here. Where are you?" I asked desperately while making my way around the side of the bed using the bed as a guide.

There was no answer and it scared me. I was running on pure adrenalin now. I had no idea where I was in the room until my toe smacked into the wooden nightstand. I cursed under my breath and heard a light chuckle coming from the bed.

"Shut up!" I said quietly under my breath.

I ran my hands along the cold nightstand trying to find a lamp or something I could use to see. To my luck I found a lamp. Reaching my hand up to the switch, it jingled and with some effort I was able to get the stupid thing on.

My stomach dropped when I saw Derek lying motionless on his back in front of me. He lay shirtless with only basketball shorts. Bruises and cuts covered his entire body.

"Derek?" I tried to say but I was pretty sure he couldn't hear me since my voice was so hoarse.

A large white bandage wrapped around his right shoulder and arm. Tears began to form in the corner of my eyes as I noticed more and more wounds over his body. He looked like he had taken a horrible beating.

I desperately needed him to move. His eyes were closed and his breathing was labored.

I leaned over him carefully trying to get a better look at him. A tear fell from my eyes, hitting his arm.

Derek's eyes slowly opened and he smiled.

"Don't." He whispered while motioning to my tears.

My chest tightened as I looked at him. His smile was so weak.

"Derek, I need to get you to a hospital."

Derek's smile fell from his face and contorted in pain.

"No." He winced.

I got up from the bed, "Derek! I'm calling an ambulance right..."

His arm shot up and snatched my wrist. He immediately regretted it as pain flooded his body. He took in a sharp breath.

"Please don't leave." He said as he tried to control the pain.

I felt myself weaken at his words.

"Ok." I found myself saying.

I sat back down and gently rubbed his arm.

"Derek, I think you need to go to the hospital." I said gently hoping I would be able to talk him into it.

Derek closed his eyes, obviously still fighting the pain.

"Em. I really appreciate it but I would be at the hospital if I knew I absolutely needed to be." He said but each word came out more and more labored.

"But, Derek..."

I paused for a few little bit and took a deep breath. He had a point but I had seen all the blood in the bathroom and wasn't completely convinced.

Before I could say anything more I noticed Derek was completely still. His breathing had even slowed down. I began to panic but it didn't last long. I soon realized he was snoring lightly.

I had waited to long to answer him. He had fallen asleep. I watched him carefully as his chest rose and fell slowly.

I put my hand to my mouth and let my tears fall now that he wouldn't be able to see them. Seeing someone you care about in this state was enough to make anyone cry. I didn't even know how he had got in this mess.

Derek's hurt arm twitched and he winced in pain but he didn't wake up. Even sleep couldn't offer him a release from the pain.

His words kept replaying in my head telling me not to leave him, which I would gladly follow. After a few moments I decided to lie down because there was nothing more I could do. I lay besides him with my hand resting gently on his arm. I was being so careful not to cause him any more pain that he was already in.

I closed my eyes, trying to focus on his breathing but I soon realized I wasn't going to be getting any sleep anytime soon. Derek's body twitched and moved as waves of pain rolled through his body. The waves would always come around every five minuets, which only gave him a minuet to relax.

All I could do was be there or him.

Before I knew it, the clock hit midnight.

The waves of pain had started to come fewer often so Derek wasn't as uncomfortable as he was before.

My eyes kept closing but sleep never came to me. I was to worried still.

After the clock hit two in the morning I could feel my body getting exhausted. My eyes slowly began to close and my body was starting to relax until I heard my name.

My eyes snapped open and my body became completely alert.

"Em?" Derek asked as his eyes were still closed.

"Yes? I'm still here." I said sitting up a little.

"Ok." Is all he said.

"You seriously just woke up just to see if I was still here?" I said while rolling my eyes.

Derek chuckled but immediately regretted it. His hand shot down to his stomach in pain but this time it didn't last long. His body must already be healing.

"I wished I could take away some of the pain."

"I'm ok." Derek smiled.

"This is ok to you?" I almost yelled.

"I'm fine. It's just the wound on my shoulder that hurts like hell. The bruises are the only things keeping me from moving around."

"And those look like they are healing already?" My statement turned into more of a question as I realized the bruises already looked ten times better then when I had first arrived. How could he be healing so quickly?

"Hm. I guess." Derek said while repositioning himself so he was more comfortable. "I'm sorry we couldn't go out to eat tonight."

"Derek, that's the least of your problems. Now stop talking. You need your rest."

Derek smiled again and nodded his head in agreement. I started to lie back down but before I could he stretched his arm out so I laid on top of it on accident. He winced when I laid on it and immediately shot up. Before I could apologize he grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him so that my head was resting on his good shoulder and his good arm was wrapped around me.

I could feel myself tense up. I was fine lying like this but I was scared I was hurting him.

"Relax." He whispered. "You're not hurting me."

"Ok."

Eventually around thirty minuets later, after Derek kept telling me to, I relaxed.

It wasn't long before my eyes became droopy and I could feel myself drifting off into sleep. Derek gently ran his fingers along my side, slowly lulling me to sleep.

I wasn't sure what had happened to him but he would have to explain himself when he woke up. I wasn't going to let this one slide.

--Derek's POV:

Em's light breathing was comforting next to me. I had been awake for about thirty minuets now just listening to her heartbeat and breathing.

I was so thankful to have Emily. I didn't want to admit it but I didn't want to deal with the pain from last night alone. I had dealt with pain like that before alone and it was the most agonizing thing, both mentally and physically. Emily hadn't left my side the entire night. In my sleep I had even felt her hand running up and down my arm trying to comfort me.

The sun had just begun to shine through the window, letting me know it was morning. The pain had almost completely subsided, except for my shoulder, which was what I expected.

After getting home last night, I had to quickly reminder what my parents had taught me about the weapons and bullets hunters used and how to treat wounds caused by them. I remember sitting there with my sister annoyed with our parents. My sister and I both thought it was stupid that we had to learn all these weird words and names of poison but here I was using that information to save my life.

I recognized the bullet as a very lethal one. It has a lethal dosage of wolfsbane inside it that would only give me a day to cure it or I wouldn't live. Thankfully Kate wanted to play a sick game with me and had given me the only cure to it. The only way to cure the wound was to use the contents of the same bullet I was shot with. I had to burn the contents inside the bullet until blue smoke was emitted from the ash. The ash then had to be placed on the wound, which then counters the effects of the first bullet, curing the wound and the wolfsbane poison.

It was a complicated process but when done right it can save a werewolf's life, in my case, my own life.

Don't get me wrong though, just because I had been taken out of immediate danger, my body was still fighting the poison.

The downside to curing wolfsbane with wolfsbane was that it had a nasty effect on our bodies. It slowed down our healing abilities by ten fold. Which was probably a good thing for me because Emily was here. She already had noticed that I was healing faster than I should be. If it wasn't for the wolfsbane in my system I would of almost been completely healed by now. I wasn't ready to tell her about me yet. I didn't know how to right now.

Emily shifted in her sleep, making me look down at her. Her head still lay on my good shoulder. My arm protested when I reached over and pushed her hair that covered half of her face. She looked so peaceful in her sleep and she looked completely relaxed.

I needed to get up before she woke up so I could clean out the bullet wound on my shoulder. I wasn't going to tell her I had been shot and planned on keeping the wound wrapped up until it healed so she wouldn't ask questions.

I knew she would want answers and I was prepared for them somewhat. It was hard to lie to her but I didn't have a choice right now.

Sliding from underneath her I got out of bed. I covered her small figure with the covers and made my way to the bathroom.

Turning on the light I realized everything was left exactly how I had left it last night. That's why Em was freaking out so much last night. She had seen all the blood in here.

Grabbing a trash bag I attempted to clean up the bathroom as much as possible. It was really hard to get anything done with my shoulder protesting against any movement. Looking around at the finished product I nodded my head in satisfaction. Not a single drop of blood remained.

Opening up the cabinet, I grabbed a clean washcloth and ran it under water. Setting it down on the sink, I began to unwrap the wrappings on my shoulder.

It didn't take long to clean out the wound but many curse words escaped my mouth in the process. It wasn't anywhere near being healed. Wrapping up the wound with fresh wrappings, I threw out the now bloody washcloth.

"Now, for breakfast."

Em still wasn't up yet so I still had time to cook something up. She must of not slept at all last night for her to be sleeping in so late. Opening up the fridge I searched for something to make. Thankfully I still had some eggs.

It didn't take long to scramble the eggs. I didn't have anything for us to drink so I poured some glasses of water.

That was as good as it was going to get. I didn't have much here because I wasn't planning on staying in Beacon Hills for long but many things had changed that. I had to find the Alpha and so on.

I looked at the kitchen table and sighed. All I needed now was for Emily to wake up.

I froze when I heard Emily's quickened heart beat. Something was wrong. Before I could even get out of the kitchen to Emily she came barreling around the corner. She like she was distressed but she sighed as soon as she saw me.

"Don't do that!" She screamed while holding her chest.

"Do what?" I laughed while approaching her.

She ran her had through her hair and let out a big breath of air.

"Sorry. I just woke up and you weren't there. I thought you had run off or had been kidnapped or something like that." She said in one breath.

I couldn't help the smile that spread across my face. Her hair was messy and her clothes were wrinkled, but she still looked beautiful.

"Well I'm here and I'm fine. And! Iv made breakfast." I said while pulling out her chair.

"Sit."

She looked at me completely baffled but she obeyed and sat down. I took the seat across from her at the small table.

It wasn't looking before I noticed her sitting there staring at her food.

"Everything ok?"

She looked up at me quickly, obviously startled.

"What?" She asked.

"Is everything ok? You're just staring at your food. Do you not like eggs?" I asked confused.

"No I like eggs. Its just that," she paused for a few seconds before picking up her fork and continuing, "you."

"Me?" I asked starting to get nervous that she already wanted to talk about what had happened to me.

She took a bite of her eggs but still stared down at her plate. She looked like she was in deep thought.

My muscles tensed when she suddenly dropped her fork on the table and tears began to fall from her eyes.

I didn't move an inch, panic flooded my mind but I didn't show it.

"Sorry." She whispered. Her hands were visibly shaking.

"It's just; so much happened in the last few hours and its sort of finally hitting me. Last night, you looked like death, and now you look like you're ten times better." She sighed. "I may be failing anatomy but it doesn't take a doctor to notice you are healing a lot faster than any human possibly could."

My heart was rising in my chest and I prayed she couldn't hear it.

"All your cuts and bruises are pretty much gone." She added under her breath.

"I know." I found myself saying. I shook my head, knowing it was too early to tell her about me. I had to lie to her and I hated myself for it.

"I mean," She looked up at me and captured me with her vibrant green eyes, " it was super dark last night. Maybe you just looked a lot worse than you actually were."

I knew she was lying to herself but I couldn't blame her.

"I agree. Em, I am fine. I wasn't feeling well last night as well, and getting attacked added to it all."

She nodded but then looked up at me, her face becoming deadly serious.

"So you were attacked?" She asked while clutching the fork I between her small fingers.

"Yes."

"By who? Was it those men who stopped us a while back?" She asked.

Her eyes begged for answers.

"Yes. I was on my way to pick you up when I ran into them."

"And that's when you texted me saying you were going to be late?" she asked.

"Yes. And that's when I got these." I said motioning to the faded wounds on my body.

"Why didn't you call me? I could have helped you or something." She looked hurt that I hadn't called her.

"I mean, you could of been hurt a lot worse and then what would you have done? You could be dead!" Her heart was racing as she began to think of all the things that could of happened.

I had to interrupt her before she have herself a heart attack. "Em. I didn't call you because I didn't want this to happen. I didn't want you worrying about it or seeing me like that. Besides, this isn't the first time this has happened so I know how to handle it."

"Oh." She said, slumping back in her chair.

Another smile formed on my face.

She looked up at me again and twisted her face into a pout. "Why are you smiling? This isn't funny!"

"I know." I chuckled while taking a bite of my breakfast.

"Just promise me you will call me if something happens like this again. And, that you will call the police or something because I am pretty sure the next thing you are going to tell me is that you don't want the police involved with what happened last night."

"Bingo."

"I figured." She laughed dryly, "Just please promise me."

I found myself lost in her gaze, "I promise."

"Good!" She said before shoveling a huge piece if scrambled egg in her mouth while whipping her tears away roughly with her sleeve. She just about choked as she tried to stay mad at me.

We ate silently after that. She had tried to act mad at me the entire time but she was doing a horrible job.

"So what are we doing today?" I asked while I got up and reached for her empty plate.

"Well, If you want," she paused when she noticed me wince in pain. I had completely forgotten about my shoulder and had reached for her plate with that arm.

"We aren't doing anything today!" She said trying to muster as much authority she could. "You need to take it easy for a while."

She snatched the plate out of my hand, causing me more pain. She quickly realized what she had done and kept on apologizing.

"It's ok, stop apologizing." I laughed as she pushed her lower lip out again, pouting.

"If you keep doing that, your face is going to stick like that."

"Whatever! That's an old wives tale." She said before turning around quickly with both of our empty plates in hand.

Her hair swished around when she turned. Her hips swayed a little more than usual as she walked towards the sink. Let's just say she had a very attractive backside.

Realizing I was checking her out I quickly looked away before she noticed.

"In all seriousness, what do you want to do today? I want to make up for the last few days now."

I waited for an answer as she scrubbed the dishes clean in the sink.

"Nothing. I wasn't kidding. You need to rest."

I rolled my eyes but smiled. I knew I was perfectly ok to go out today.

It would be so much easier if she knew about me, because then she would know I would be fine right now but I had to play along. I took a deep breath. I didn't like doing this to her.

"Ok. Ok, you win." I said putting my good hand up in defeat.

She spun around and smiled triumphantly. She placed her hands behind her on the counter and pushed her chest out.

"Don't worry, we will find something fun to do until you get better."

I raised an eyebrow obviously letting my mind wonder on what exactly could be fun.

"Derek!" She squealed realizing what I was implying.

I didn't have time to react before a wet washcloth landed with a smacking noise on my face. It fell to the ground with a splat.

"Dirty mind." She said under her breath. "Oh what a coincidence." She didn't think I could hear her but I could.

Coincidence? Was she not telling me something? I thought to myself as I smiled.

--Emily's POV:

"Oh, what a coincidence." I whispered while putting the dishes away. I blushed madly when I thought about Derek's comment. I couldn't even look at the kitchen table because of my dream I had had.

"Is it hot in here to you?" I asked while fanning myself nervously.

It definitely wasn't to hot in here but I had to have an explanation for my body suddenly growing warm.

"No, but Il go turn the air conditioner down." He said with a smirk.

Crap, did he know? How in the hell would he know? It's not like he can read minds.

As he got up, I noticed the rather large tattoo on his back for the first time. How could I have missed it all this time? It was a giant spiral that had three other spirals coming off of it. I think it was called a triskel? My eyes wondered over his back. Derek obviously worked out, a lot.

A few seconds later you could hear the air conditioner kick in to high gear. I shivered as the breeze hit me.

"Better?"

"Yes, thank you." I said as another cold chill hit me.

I heard Derek chuckle but I couldn't see him. I was trying to put a pan Derek had used to make the eggs away but I couldn't seem to find the cabinet that held the pans.

Before I knew it, two arms wrapped around my waist.

"It goes in this one." Derek whispered huskily next to my ear as he pointed to the cabinet right in front of us.

"Oh. Thanks." I said back. My face was growing redder and redder by the moment.

All I could think about was, this is exactly where my dream began. Except Derek wasn't physically hurt in my dream.

I spun around so I was facing him. He placed his hands on the either side of me on the counter, trapping me. He looked like he was trying to decide on something.

"Yes?" I asked while smiling, trying to play it off. He was definitely up to something and I had a feeling I was going to like it.

Derek moved his hands and placed them on my waist pulling me closer to him.

"I just wanted to thank you."

I put both my hands carefully on his chest, careful to not touch any bruises or injures.

"For what?"

"For taking care of me last night. For not leaving me, and for staying by my side even though I don't answer your questions. For you being together with me," He paused and looked at me with a gentle smile. "And for this."

Before I could do anything I felt his lips over my own. My body reacted immediately, returning his kiss.

It was such a gentle and loving kiss. I had never experienced anything like it before in my life. I felt like I was on cloud nine. Nothing else in the world mattered right now and nothing else existed except for us.

He pulled away and placed his forehead against mine. His hands reached up towards my face and held it in between his large hands.

I smiled and covered his hands with my own.

"Your welcome." I whispered.

--------------------------------------------
