Background:

Yura Uzumaki was born and raised in the Land of Medicine. As an early teen, she traveled with her father to the Land of Iron and throughout the Land of Lightning to sell medicine and trade on their markets. Along the way, Yura became interested in kenjutsu and the ways of the samurai and left home at 17 to study swordsmanship in Tetsu no Kuni. She met her husband, Hitoshi while in basic training.
