Doyenne of the Knight (Barda Free, aka Big Barda)

She sighed, letting the water drip down from the shower she was taking down her caramel skin. She was already done with cleaning herself, but she really enjoyed her time just letting the water flow down her skin. It relaxed her greatly, the feeling of the warmth that fell down her curve was very relaxing. She did wish to enjoy some other pleasures that Earth was able to provide, but she was enjoying her quiet and peaceful life. She did not need anything else right at this moment.

She went out of her shower, taking the large towel and beginning to dry herself up. She was thinking about what she could do now that she was finished with her afternoon shower. It was a royalty that she was not able to have in Apokolips, the place whose governor had manipulated her for her entire life. It was thanks to the Justice League that she was now able to live her life however she may so desire. She put the towel around her, tying it up quite nicely before grabbing the smaller towel to dry her hair.

She began to move through the house, her hands still drying her hair as she sat down on the sofa. She was close to finishing her hair, her hands ready to tie the smaller towel around her hair and leaving it there for the time being. Dropping her hands to the side, she just closed her eyes and enjoyed the freedom that she was having no responsibilities as she previously had. Her actions have been twisted by the New God, Darkseid; once being the leader of the Female Furies. She did miss her furies, but she couldn't handle Darkseid's orders any longer. She wanted to be whoever she may decide to be.

"Barda..."Her eyes widened quite nicely, looking to the darkest corner of the open family area. Her eyes immediately were focused on the Dark Knight, looking at her with indifference even as she was still in just a plain scarlet towel. She had no shame, so she really didn't care if she was seen in less. But it did grab her by surprise that she was unable to even hear him enter her house. "We need to talk"

"You know..." She started, her hands going towards the sides of the sofa, her posture changing slightly to calm down her irritation. She was not really angry, but she could confirm that she was not expecting any kind of visit today. "When I said drop in any time, this isn't quite what I pictured" She said, her eyes staring directly into the man's cowl to see if she could at least get some kind of reaction. She found none, something that she should already expect from the words that spreaded around Batman's stoicness in many activities he does. But it was not like she could fault him, she acted slightly the same way when she was the leader of the Female Furies. "What can I do for you, Batman?"

"Darkseid has kidnapped Supergirl" Barda Free, most commonly known as Big Barda, just narrowed her eyes slightly. She did not physically react to the news, but she could just feel that this was the most horrible news to digest. If Darkseid had something planned with a kryptonian, then it must mean danger for every hero on Earth. But at the same time, she also wanted nothing to do with the New God himself. She spent almost a lifetime serving under him. And while it would sure put a smile on her face for ruining his plan for destruction, she was not suicidal to even act upon it. "We need your Motherbox to travel to Apokolips and rescue her"

"Don't even try it... She is lost to you" Barda moved herself to the front, rearranging her elbow quite a bit. Her hands were supporting her face while her elbows were on her knees. She had her eyes closed, but she opened them just to keep staring at the unsurprised look of Batman's mouth. It was as if he already expected this answer from her. But even she could see just how tense the man was. "I'm sorry"

"Just give me the Motherbox, I'll take care of the rest" She raised a brow in slight shock. Though more than being shocked, she was impressed with his determination. He was just a mere human without any sort of powers, yet he was the bravest man she has known. She stood up, walking towards her room, yet she knew that Batman had not made any movements to even try and follow her.

"You will, won't you?" She asked, letting her towel drop down to the floor. She moved towards her closet, her eyes landing on the suit she would always use when in any sort of battle. She stared at it for a few seconds, before her hand grabbed it swiftly and started to get dressed. "You have no idea what you're up against, Batman" She heard no reply back, yet she knew that he was still there and listening to her voice. She had quickly donned her suit and armor, her hands softly grabbing her helmet, which was by the stand next to her bed. She stared at it for a bit longer before adjusting it on her head. "Yet I can feel that you think you'll come back to Earth after your done"

"I can manage" The slightly faraway response let her know that the Dark Knight was still in her house. She hummed in response, her boots clicked against the floor, her eyes straining themself slightly as she could only imagine the kind of face Darkseid would have when he would see her again. She expected rage, yet she was anticipating it from far away. She began to get closer to the area she had left once again. Her almost unnoticeable smile disappeared completely.

"I'll help you get to Apokolips, on two conditions" She stepped into his peripheral view, her body now decent while wearing her suit of armor. She was doing the slight adjustments to her helmet, rearranging it slightly so that the leftover hair would not bother her much. She looked straight at the hero in the corner, trying to see if he heard her. A nod from his part was all the answer she managed to receive from the man. "One, I'm going with you"

"And your second condition?" She made a small smirk with her mouth, her eyes roaming the body of the hero. She couldn't quite see it well because of the shadows of the room, but he was very broad and muscular. She had to admit that she needed someone to accompany her in her loneliness, to join her in her time of need. So she could admit that she really did not need the second condition, but it was something that she really wanted from the hero in question.

"That you must join me for some... pleasurable moments, if you will" By now, her smirk was fully shown to the hero. She didn't care if he could see that it was more of a personal condition rather than something else. But she really didn't care, her life was beginning to get monotonous, and she had been tempted to just find the nearest hero and offer herself to him. It was sheer luck that she landed the jackpot with dear old Batman. She would never admit it aloud, but he was one of the most dashing heroes she had met. She definitely would ignore Superman, too much of a boy scout for her to really admire his physical attributes. But the Dark Knight was a complete package, something she could appreciate.

"When do we start?" She kept on her smirk, her hand moving towards the single frame on the wall. Moving it slightly, it opened a compartment where it showed many of the weapons she had used in her past as the leader of the Female Furies and Darkseid's general. But what got her interest even further was the single technological box right in the middle of the hidden compartment. The Motherbox laid there silently, awaiting her order. She had a mission to accomplish with the Dark Knight. And she could hardly wait to finish it so she could get her private time with the man who had seeked her help. She could almost taste the pleasure that she seeked, and not even Darkseid would interrupt her from getting what she currently wants.
