Sweet sweet revenge (edited)

~Hawks pov~

Getting out of hospital wasn't as great as Hawks thought it was gonna be. His bones ached, and without his wings, exercise was out of the picture. Hawks longed to fly again, to be able to swoop between the clouds, to be free. He sighed. The last few months were a mess. Everything just didn't make sense anymore. Pushing himself off the couch, Hawks grabbed a grey hoodie and headed towards the door. Right now, some fresh air could help.

It wasn't long before Hawks felt that something was wrong. He took a deep breath, and kept walking. What was going on with him?! He turned the corner and suddenly started to cough. A huge lump formed in his throat, and Hawks felt the air leave his lungs. Wheezing, Hawks placed a shaky hand against the wall to try and stabilize himself. With one last cough, a single petal fell out, drenched in blood. That's when things got worse.

He needed to get the fuck out of there. What if a villain was here? Hawks had no idea where he was, and the bloody petals on the ground wasn't making it any better. He gave one last look at the now bloodied ground and made his way deeper into the alleyway. He leaned against the wall and slowly sat down. What the hell, he muttered angrily. Get a hold of yourself, Hawks, he thought. Just as he was about to take out his phone to call Mirko, a dark shadow loomed over him.

Hawks felt burning fingers wrap themselves around his throat. Turquoise eyes glowed in the darkness in front of him. If Hawks wasn't dying right now he would laugh. How ironic. Did he really think Dabi would forgive him after everything he had done? Hawks smiled slightly and cocked his head to one side.

"Just kill me. I'm not gonna beg for my life ya know."

Dabi's eyes bored into him. "Stupid bird, did you really think I would let you off the hook so easily? I'm going to break you completely, like you broke the League."

Hawks just closed his eyes. I deserve it. I got myself into this and now I have to pay the price. He looked the villain in the eyes, and the grip around his neck tightened. The world started to spin, and the only thing that stood out to him were Dabi's eyes. Touya, I wish you were here. Hawks looked up once more, before slipping into unconsciousness.

"Touya... Touya! Wait for me!" Young Hawks ran though a field of gardenias. Touya was in front of him, laughing.

"C'mon Keigo, you're so slow."

Hawks puffed out his wings. "You're just too fast."

"We're gonna miss the sunset if you stop one more time!"

Flapping his wings a few times, Hawks cocked his head to one side. "I'll just fly us there. I promise I won't drop you."

Touya gave him a glare and jokingly said, "Fine, but if you drop me you owe me another hug!"

Hawks just smirked, and without a second thought lifted himself and Touya in the air. The breeze played with his hair, and within seconds he got them both to their destination. The two friends sat on top of a hill covered in flowers, watching the sun glow gently as it sunk into the horizon. Hawks reached over and took Touya's hand. "Promise you'll never leave me?" he asked softly. "I promise, Keigo."

...

The sound of footsteps bought Hawks back to reality. He looked around. Its seems like he was in the spare room, back at what remained of the L.O.V headquarters. Hawks tried to stand up, but the chains around his wrists brought him back down onto the ground with a thump. Dabi leaned against the doorway, his gaze boring into Hawks. He looked at the dark-haired villain. Dabi seemed somewhat calm. The last time he saw him he was trying to strangle him to death.

Hawks lowered his gaze, and mumbled, "What do you plan to do to me?"

Dabi laughed. "Little bird, didn't I tell you before? I'm gonna slowly break you until you regret being born."

His cold glare made Hawks shiver. This time, there was no talking or fighting his way out of this.

~Dabi's pov~

Helpless. This was the perfect word to describe the broken hero chained in Dabi's basement. He chuckled slightly to himself. Oh what a sight. The number 2 hero. At his mercy. Dabi strolled over to Hawks and yanked his hair harshly.

"Listen. You're lucky that I'm not killing you now. Don't even bother yelling. No one can hear you." And with that said, he left the room and locked the door behind him.

Lets see how many days Hawks could survive like this.

...

Dabi walked into the basement, placing a bottle of water in front of the disheveled hero. Hawks coughed, making him raise an eyebrow.

"What's wrong hero? Already giving up?"

Hawks just looked up. "Shut up. Just Shut up! You know nothing."

Dabi looked at Hawks with insane eyes. And laughed.

"You've got some nerves, little bird."

Dabi stood up. He had no time for this shitty excuse of a human. He had better things to do. Pushing the door open, he decided that it was about time he made a plan. This would probably use up all of his brain cells, and with the winged hero there to help, he was sure his rescue-plan would work. If, the hero was alive, that is. Dabi smirked. This time, he would get the last laugh.

Its been days now. Dabi admired the hero's strong will, but who was he kidding? The ending of this plan was still the same. He would probably kill Hawks sooner or later, but sadly he still needed him for more information. He entered the room again, and to his surprise, Hawks was a coughing mess curled up on the floor. Blood splattered the ground, and flecks of it covered the walls.

"Holy shit! What a sight." Dabi grinned.

This was what he needed. People suffering. Its a beautiful thing in his eyes. Those so called 'citizens of the world' deserved that. He dragged the hero off the floor, unlocking the chains that held him in place.

"You're coming with me."

Dabi pushed the half dead hero to his room.

"Lets get you cleaned up before mess up ."

He could just make out Hawks' glowing golden eyes staring intensely at him between the matted ash-blond locks. Dabi gave him a little push into the bathroom and closed the door.

"Take your time." he called out.

Turning around, he laid down on his bed.

Everything was for Keigo. Dabi didn't know who he was, where he was or what he looked like. It felt like a huge gaping hole in his memory. No matter how much he tried to convince himself, the L.O.V was all he needed, there was still that consciousness of want in the back of his head. Who was this Keigo he remembered? What part did he play in his life? Dabi couldn't wait find out more.
