It had been about three weeks since had my first day of training with the Joker and I haven't stopped since. I have started training everyday with or without someone watching me. It was almost calming for me to throw punches and kick back each goon that dared to challenge me. That's right. I was the best without out a doubt I had achieved a high status among the villains, which took a bit of showing off, without the use of my powers.
I stopped stretching to think about my powers a moment. The Joker hadn't spent any time with me since the first day of training and every time I see him he doesn't seem impressed. I bite my lower lip as I realize something. Maybe he was mad at me for not channeling my powers? The thought made my face pale. If the reason why he brought me here was to use my powers, was I disobeying him? I couldn't help but feel my heart drop. I had worked so hard to impress him only the upset him because of the fact I didn't use my powers.
I suddenly grit my teeth as I head to the first machine that I used; the " Dodge" training. I step in and waits for the usual roar of the engine from the machine. I take the moment to touch the metal fence before ripping my arm back, the machine roaring to life, as a metal spike comes straight for my face. Out of instinct, my arm shot up to protect myself. I watch as the metal slate protrudes out of my arm to deflect the metal spike, a loud, shrill bang echoing throughout the training room. A small sigh of reliefescaping my lips as I deflect each spike carefully. None of them hitting me.
I could feel pairs of eyes locked upon my figure as I continue the exercise. It soon ended with me a shaky mess, never using my powers for so long. I sigh and look up to meet the deep brown eyes that haunt me. " My Dear, you did wonderful. Are you alright?" His words seemed far and distant. He lifts his hand and gently strokes my cheek.
" You're awfully pale....( Y/N)." I unconsciously move closer to The Joker's touch, it was calming. " I'm fine..." I mumble softly as I slowly feel the comforting warmth of sleep take over, passing out in his touch. " You did well, love.."
