There was a moment of silence as Hawks stared into your (e/c) eyes, eyes that seems to always glisten with tenderness and care replaced with remorse and suffering, emotions that you hid on days end, yet right now you let out for Hawks to see all while you held a fake smile.

Hawk could clearly see the once hidden emotions written all over your face. Hidden emotions Hawks knows all too well, emotions from past experiences that can't be forgotten.

"Your eyes..." Hawks spoke lowly as he continued looking into your remorse filled eyes, "w-what have you gone though?" His voice low and filled with grief.

You turned your head to face the city scape, your fake smile you held slightly fading away, "similar shit you've gone through" you sighed.

"How do you know what I've been though?" Hawks questioned while still studying your features to see if anything about you would spark a memory. Not even a second after he said that you answered him, "I don't" you stated making Hawks scrunch his brows in confusion, "I don't know what exactly you've been through, but since you work for the Safety Commission you've probably gone though some horrible shit too, right?"

'Too? What has she gone through with them?' Hawks thought as he recalled all the horrible things he's done and had to go though during training and satisfying the Commission, He nodded slightly. Without hesitation he stuck his hand out for a handshake.

You turned to look at him questionablely, "we both work under the Comission and have been though some horrible shit, it wouldn't hurt to open up to each other" he stated with a slight smile. You smiled back at him and took his hand.

"No one really knows this, but it's Keigo, Keigo Takami " he said as he shook your hand, "Keigo?" You said softly, something about that seemed so familiar yet you couldn't think of why, "its my name" he said as he smiled genuinely to you. You pushed that thought aside and returned the genuine smile he gave you, "same here, no one really knows either but its Y/n, Y/n L/n"

"Y/n...." Hawks said under his breath, 'why does that sound so familiar?' He thought to himself before letting go of your hand.

"So..." he began as he propped his hands behind him and leaned back, "How long have you been under them?" He asked as he turned his head to face you.

"I was taken in when I was 10, so about 12 years" you answered, before propping your hands behind you and leaning back as well, "what about you?" You asked.

"Let's see, I was taken in when I was 9, so about 13 years" he answered, making you mouth 'oh,' "I guess we've both been under them for sometime, huh?" He stated which you hummed in agreement to.

"How did you end up with the Commission?" You asked curiously as you turned your head towards him. He sighed as he leaned his head back a little and looked up towards the sky, "when I was younger someone from the Commission saw me save some people from a high speed car accident and thought me and my quirk would be very useful to them. I don't have any family, well I had a father but I never really considered him my father. The thing about him is that he was a criminal, a murder to be exact, once he was caught by Endeavor they use that as an advantage to take me in and train me to be like how I am today" he explained while you nodded along.

"So, cocky and laid back?" you joked lightening the atmosphere making Hawks chuckle a bit, "exactly" he answered playing along, "What about you? How did you end up with them?" He asked, turning his head to you giving you his full attention. You inhaled, "have you heard of Operation Healing Angel or read the files for it?" You asked as you turned your head to look over the city.

He nodded, "the raid of a well known semi powerful underground organization along with the killing of 2 retired prohero in their home and kidnapping of their grandchild that took place 12 years ago, similar to the recent chisaki case, right? He answered to which you nodded, "yep" you replied, turning your head back to face Hawks, "well, that operation involved me and as a result of that operation I ended up with the Commission" you said.

Recalling the details he read on the case once Hawks eyes widened a little, "crazy, right?" You stated and Hawks nodded, "what exactly happened?" He asked.

You took a deep breath recalling all the events that happened during that operation and looked outwards towards the city again, "As a hero you make lots of enemies right?" You asked and saw Hawks nod his head, "when I was 10 I was kidnapped from my home by the organization that's written on the file, they were after my quirk and also held a grudge against my parents when they were alive. I was missing for a total of 7 days, during those 7 days I was constantly experimented on and my wings would be ripped from my back every time they grew in, if I tried hiding them, they would torture me. During my kidnapping, my only family that I had left, my grandparents, were killed by the kidnappers..." you paused and took a breath.

"The news of my grandparents death and their missing grandchild, me, lead to Operation Healing Angel. The Safety Commission set out a group consisting of All Might, Endeavor, other pro heroes and police officers to rescue me and raid the underground organization. In the end I was rescued and the organization was successful taken down. Since I had no family left to go to I was taken in by the Commission and you could probably guess why they took me in" you said as you turned to hawks. Without even having to think he knew exactly why, "they found your quirk useful and powerful" he answered.

You nodded, "Ding ding ding, correct" you exclaimed with sarcastic enthusiasm making Hawks roll his eyes playfully. "You seem so unbothered by what happened" Hawks said after taking notice of how you didn't seem to express any emotions like sadness, anger or others emotions when you explained what had happened.

"Oh trust me, after 12 years I'm still bothered by it little along with the things I've done since then. But if I keep sulking around and dreading on it, it won't get me any where" you sighed slightly, "you should know how it is"

Hawks nodded, "learn from it and move on. Let the past be the past and live in the present, and like the Commission says don't let your emotions effect you" he said, you smiled and nodded, "exactly"

"Hold on" Hawks said as he tried to make sense of what you had said earlier, "why were they after your quirk, isn't your quirk a healing quirk" He asked with brows furrowed.

You shook your head, "part of my quirk maybe healing but they were after my wings. Since my wings have the healing aspect to them they wanted to try and implement my quirk into someone who has a dangerous emitter quirk. For example, imagine if crusty lips (Shigaraki) all of a sudden had wings that can also emit his quirk. Instead of touching things with his hands to decay them he could just decay them with the touch of a feather. With feathers distributed around the country just imagine the number of people he could easily kill and the destruction that could happen"

Hawks eyes widened slightly, "Holy shit" he muttered realizing how large of an issue that could've been, "hold up, crusty lips? Shigaraki?" He asked arching a brow, you nodded, "have you seen the dude, he needs some gosh darn chapstick" you exclaimed making Hawks chuckle, "he really does"

"Oh" you exclaimed making Hawks eye you curiously, "what?" He asked. "I never told you about my quirk, right?" You asked. He shook his head, "your quirk is just your wings and the healing you do, isn't it?

You shook your head, "remember how I explained the Shigaraki scenario?" You asked making Hawks look at you questionably, "yea, why?" He answered.

A sly smile made its way to your face, "well, you'll be the 3rd person to know about this, I've been keeping this from the Commission for the past 6 years since it manifested." You said making Hawks eye you questionably even more, "what is it?"

"My quirk is called angel, bout 6 years ago my quirk manifested, so I also have a mind control/ truth aspect to it" you stated with a sly smile still apparent on your face. Hawks deadpaned at you, "you're kidding right?" he said not believing you.

"Would you like to test that out bird brain?" You asked with a smirk, Hawks eyed you skeptically but accepted, "go for it" he said crossing his legs and turning his whole body to face you.

You chuckled a little mischievously as you sent one feather to his shoulder, "alright, which pro hero have you hooked up with" you asked with a still apparent smirk, Hawks cocked his head at your question, "huh?" You rolled your eyes, "you heard me, which pro hero have you hooked up with?"

Hawks scoffed at your question, "haven't hooked up with any one of them" he lied proudly thinking you were only bluffing about your quirk. You rolled your eyes, "wrong answer bird brain, I know you've hooked up with at least one. Now tell me the answer" you said activating your quirk.

Hawks tried lying again but couldn't, "Mt. Lady" he answered making his eyes widen and jaw dropped, "you weren't kidding" he exclaimed. At the same time your eyes widened and jaw dropped as you gasped, "Holy shit, this is some news. I'm never letting that go" you exclaimed standing up with a shit eating grin.

Hawks slightly glared at you before sighing and standing up as well, "alright little birdy sit your ass down" he said as he pushed you to sit back down and sat down next to you, "since you now know, to make it fair you have to at least tell me one pro hero you've hooked up with" he said with an angry pout.

You shook your head with your shit eating grin still apparent, "you didn't believe me so I don't have to tell you shit" you said making Hawks groan a little. "come on, its not fair" he slightly whined to which you shook you head.

"If you tell me I'll show you something about my quirk no one knows" Hawks offered making you eye him suspiciously, "you're lying" you said, "would I ever lie to you" he said batting his eyelashes making you squint your eyes skeptically even more.

Hawks put his hands up in defense, "alright I lie sometimes but I'm being serious here" you stilled continued to eye him suspicious, "if I find out that you lied I'm going to call dabi and have him roast you, and you better not let a word of this slip out" you threatened as you glared at him, he nodded excitedly, "I've hooked up with Endeavor" you said bluntly.

Hawks jaw dropped and his whole face had shock written all over it, "you did not?" Hawks said as his brain seem to have literally fried at your statement. You tried sniffling your laughter but couldn't, "of course not you bird brain, I would never hook up with him" you said flicking Hawks forehead making him rub his forehead and glare at you a bit.

"Holy shit, I thought you were being serious for a second" he said recollections himself, you deadpan at him, "yea, no, never in a million years, I see him more as a mentor"

Hawks rolled his eyes at you, "so who have you really hooked up with then?" He asked a little annoyed from your lie. "Edgeshot" you said lowly as you scratched the back of your neck, "what?" Hawks said, "Edgeshot" you said lowly again, "What??" He said again, "God damn it, Edgeshot, alright" you slightly yelled.

Hawks stared at you with a grin, "I heard you the first time but still, holy shit. You know I'm never letting that go right?" he said making you groaned slightly, 'I deserved this for earlier' you thought to yourself.

"Hey y/n" Hawks called out softly catching you off guard. You turned your head towards him, the way your name rolled off his tongue felt foreign, its been so long since someone's said your name. But the way he said it felt warm and comforting, it even made your heart skip a beat. "Hmm?" You hummed in response making him smile. "Nothing, I just wanted to say your name" you rolled your eyes playfully and smiled.

"Keigo~" you hummed leaning back on your palms and turned your head to look at the city. That made Hawks heart skip a beat. To say the least, he felt exactly like how you felt. Its been so long since he's heard someone say his name. The way his name rolled off your tongue felt foreign yet warming and comforting.

Hawks stared at your form for a bit before realizing something, "wait, how did you know I work for the commission?" He asked, you turned to him, "ah, that because I'm your stalker" you joked making Hawks roll his eyes at you. "I'm kidding, the day before the chart announcement I had to stop by the Commission building. Before I landed on the roof I saw you there"

Hawks slightly arched a brow, "everyone has to go there for hero work, so how did you know that the work I do for them is different?" He asked, you gave him a slight smile, "one, your quirk" you said pointing to his wings, "second, I'm just going to assume you do this too but I have a couple of feathers laying around in the building. You get the gist of it" you said scratching the back of your neck and chuckling awkwardly.

Hawks gasped as he stood up making you look up at him concernedly, "uh, is everything alright?" You asked hesitantly, you were afraid that he was going to dislike you because of that. Your brain began wondering to the negative things he could possibly say to you.

But you were soon snapped out of your thoughts when Hawks facepalmed himself, "I completely forgot I left feathers around the building, shit some may have even ened up in plain sight" he said making you release a breath you were holding in.

Hawks notice the breath you let out and the slightly concerned look you had on your face go away, "is everything alright?" He asked cocking his head slightly. You chuckled awkwardly, "I was afraid you were going to see me differently and dispise me because I'm spying like what the commission always does" you said hesitantly.

Hawks eyes widened, he felt a little sad that you would think that. Wanting to reassure you that he didn't feel that way he gave you a genuine smile, "I would never feel that way..." he started as he looked into your e/c eyes. His golden eyes glistened with tenderness and care, "I was a little skeptical at first but now I know, you're one of the very few who knows how shitty the Commission is and you're one of the very few people who I can actually open up to and trust. Shit, I thought you would've thrown me off a building or have dabi burn me up for all I know for always pestering you but you end up putting up with me and even saved my life..." he said, rambling on genuinely little more.

You were awestruck and shocked as Hawks rambled on about all the things he's come to realize and appreciate about you. You were moved and truly appreciated that birdbrain.

You laughed lightly stopping Hawks from his rambling, "thank you, keigo" you said with a closed eye smile. Relieved by your reaction a blush made its way to Hawks face as he felt his heart beat fastened hearing your laugh along with you saying his name and seeing your smile.

So I wrote majority of this around 3 am so it might not be that great and there might be lots of mistakes. Which I'm am really sorry about.
