Chapter 1 《Childhood Friend》

Y/n or best known as White Wing to many, you grew up with your grandparents who were your only family in a rural area with a small population. Your parents were pro heroes but had left you at a young age as they passed away in a villian incident, leaving you to grow up in the loving care of your grandparents.

You were a blessing for your grandparents as you were their only grandchild, when your quirk started to show more your grandparents were ecstatic. Having inherited a combination of both of your parents' quirk, your quirk was very powerful and handy.

Your fathers quirk being serene wings, he had large wings in which he was able to control each feather and sharpen them, his feathers had a soothing aspect to them calming whoever comes in contact with them if he activated his quirk. On the other hand, your mothers quirk was recovery, with the touch of her hand she was able to heal any wound or injury.

Though you had very little time with your parents when they were alive, they, your grandparents and a childhood friend were your biggest motivation for becoming a pro hero.

Though your name was White Wings no one really knew why that was as you had no apparent wings anywhere on your body. You hid your wings due to the fact that they are very valuable and vulnerable due to how useful and powerful your quirk was. Your grandparents always told you to keep your wings tucked in to avoid unnecessary attention and prevent anything bad to happen to you.

They taught you how to hide your wings but also how to control and use your quirk properly. Your wings were one of your biggest kept secret aside from your name, only a select few knew of your real name and of your wings.

Y/n POV (7 years old):
"Ahhh I'm finally able to go outside and fly again" you groan while slightly pouting as you stretched your wings and sore through the beautiful orange sky with the sun rising in the distance, occasionally doing little loops in the air as you flew.

The sound of your wings flapping, the feeling of the wind flowing through your h/c hair and your feathers. You couldn't help but smile to yourself as this was one of your favorite feelings, being able to fly freely with no care in the world. Closing your eyes to take in the all so familiar feeling of the nice cool breeze against your skin, only for that moment to be interrupted by a slight tug on one of your wings.

Shocked by the sudden tug of your wings you opened your eyes only to be met with a blond haired, golden eyed boy about your age with red wings flying next to you.
"Hi!" the boy said while brightly smiling at you, still in shock expecting only yourself to be flying in the sky you weren't able to mutter out anything but only stare at him with a look of confusion.

Blond boys POV:
Not expecting much as I layed there in the grass looking in the morning sky, all of a sudden there was a white blur that whizzed past my sight.

It was a girl maybe my age with a pair of wings, white wings to be exact. I was really excited but also shocked that there was someone else who had wings, everytime I flew around I never saw anyone with wings.
'I want to talk to her and be her friend!' I thought to myself as I quickly got up and tried catching up to her.

I finally caught up to her and noticed her eyes were closed so I slightly tugged on her wing not trying to hurt her or anything, she jumped a little which made me laugh a bit. When she finally opened her eyes I looked at her and said "Hi!" with a bright smile because I couldn't contain my excitement.

"H-hi!? Y-you have w-wings?!" You stuttered, still looking confused and shocked.

"Yea! Do you want to be friends? My name's Keigo, Keigo Takami, also I'm 8 years old" The boy said all excitedly. Finally calming down, you nodded, you, yourself got excited because you made a friend and he was similar to you, there was no one around who had wings like you. "Y/n l/n, im 7 years old, nice to meet you Keigo" you said with the biggest smile.

You two flew around chasing after each other and playing around until you two were tired out, once tired you two had decided to land in an open area on top of a hill and relaxed enjoying each other's company.

The two of you were a laughing mess, joking and playing around until you realized you had to go home. You gave him a sad look and he asked you why you looked sad. "I have to go home, but I don't want to go yet, I want to keep hanging out with you" you said with a pout.

"It's okay, what if we meet up here again tomorrow at the same time?" Keigo said while cupping your cheeks with his hands trying to cheer you up. You nodded your head excitedly, already excited for tomorrow to come so you could hang out with him again.

You got home after a short flight back, excitedly you told your grandparents about Keigo and what you two did together and how you two were going to meet each other tomorrow. Your grandparents couldn't contain their happiness because you were an introvert (introverted extrovert to be exact) and didn't really make any friends due to how quiet you were, but Keigo was somehow able to make you come out of your shell. Within the week you met Keigo, you introduced him to your grandparents and they absolutely loved him.

In the next couple of months you and Keigo were inseparable, almost everyday you two met up on that hill top to hangout with each other but also trained together as you both had set the same goal of becoming pro heroes once you got older.

But that all stopped when one day Keigo said he had to go away and that he won't be able to come meet up any more. Both of you were devastated, however before he left you and him exchanged a feather, you both made a promise that both of you won't be sad and that once the two of you became pro heroes you will find each other.

Hello! I'm sorry how the format of the story may seem weird but I'm still trying to figure out what style I like and maybe how to implement it. Anyways, thank you for reading even though it may not be the greatest. I hope you're doing well and that you have a wonderful day ❤~
