brothers and sisters

Their hug came to an end when a blazing horn came out from around them, Amiryat and lo'ak stood up as their family came out watching at the metkayina jumped into the ocean without any hesitation.

"What was that?"

The sully's eyes scanned around the ocean, ears pointed up to the sky.  "The Tulkuns have returned! Everybody our brothers and sisters have returned!" A angelic voice announced from the sea.

Amiryat smiled at the tulkuns when she noticed a blur pushing through the small crowd, cocking her head at the figure until a smile found it way on her lips, the blurred figure came out to be Ao'nung running making his way to her. "Oel ngati kameie, Amiryat." He brought his hand up then down greeting the rest of the family.

"I want you to meet my brother," Ao'nung grasped her upper arm beaming down at her, when he looked back to Neytiri and Jake clearly his throat. "If that's okay?" Amiryat whipped around locking eyes with her father knowing his was going to be the hardest to convince, Jake lips parted to answer.

"Yes, you may, you don't have to ask." Neytiri says smiling at her daughter, Ao'nung thanks her with a grin, turning right back to his lover clasping his hand with Amiryat' hand and took of run with her gripping his hand, not wanting to lose him.

Ao'nung clicked with his mouth calling out for his ilu, the creature rose above water eyes gleaming as Ao'nung made tsahelyu. Amiryat moved over to sit behind him wrapping a hand around his torso while the ilu swam away.

"You see that one?" Amiryat eyes followed where he was pointing at, the tulkun lifted from the water twisting around before splashing back down, the children laughed at the action, Ao'nung grins glancing over his shoulder to her. "That's my spirit brother!" She smiled with a laugh griping Ao'nung waist as they dove into the water.

it was probably the best sight Amiryat has ever seen, every single na'vi smiled so brightly as they reunited with their spirit brothers and sisters, Ao'nung disconnected from the ilu swimming down towards his brother, Amiryat moved down letting the ilu swim away but stay at a close distance, watching the interaction between them.

"oe lu lefpom ne tseʼa nga." (I'm happy to see you) Ao'nung signed with his hands, the smile never leaving his face. The tulkun chirp loudly eyes moving at they scan his face some more. Ao'nung patted luca' face touching his cheek with his, when he moved back suddenly growing shy when he signed again. "oe ultxa si evenge"  (I met a girl)

Luca' chatter wailing, Amiryat cocked her head not understanding what he told luca but the way the tulkun reacted gave her a feeling that it had something to do with her. Ao'nung grins glazing back to her waving a hand, signaling her to swim over, so she did.

Ao'nung grasped her hand in his while placing the other on luca' head, Amiryat smiled displaying her dimples to him, her hand caressing the rough but soft skin. Ao'nung gaze softened as he watched his spirit brother and the girl he loved interact in their own way.

Something he didn't see was his mother, Ronal had a feeling her son was seeing someone, of course she wanted him to be happy and find a mate himself because she knew he would never look her the same if she and her husband arranged him with someone he didn't want to be with.

A smile crept on her face watching the smile never leave her sons face, she knew of Amriyat and heard many great stories from the family, a great warrior she was, and a good person, Amiryat was a protecter, a lover and a sister in everyone' eyes.

Somehow the eldest sully siblings got convinced into covering for lo'ak as he came in touch with payakan with Tsireya and Ao'nung, she didn't trust that her brother would be safe with the outcast tulkun, but was amazed that her baby brother was brave enough to trust payakan.

Amiryat scrunched her face as payakan mouth gaped open, her eyes widen slightly at the huge gap, lo'ak scanned around before he swam inside the creature, the mouth closed instantly alerting Amiryat to moved forward only to be brought back.

Tsireya held her back, making a wait movement with her hands. She hesitated for a second but held back because the sea girl knew more about payakan.

She knew the moment the chief of the clan got involved with what they let lo'ak did, wasn't going to be a good record on their family's name, Neteyam kept his head up as he and his two siblings followed behind Tonowari and his two children into his family's hunt.

"You allowed this." Ronal stormed right after them, glancing between her two children. "You allowed him to bond with the outcast!" She yells towards Tsireya.

Amiryat frowns watching the girl crumble beneath her mother gaze when her father approached her, glaring downwards. "Tisreya." He called her name forcing her to lift her head with a sniff. "You disappoint me daughter."

Tonowari shook his head turning to lo'ak. "And you, son of a great warrior." Amiryat glanced back to find her parents approaching the scene, "who has been taught better."

"Payakan saved my life sir." Lo'ak says, Amiryat held herself back from smacking him on the head, they were raised to never talk back to adults, "you don't know him."

"Sit." Tonowari orders to them, though none of them moved a muscle, "sit down!" He shouts, Amiryat instantly dropped to her knees with everyone else, her heart pounding against her chest, Ao'nung glanced over at her wishing to take her hand.

Tonowari brought his hands to his mouth taking a deep breath before releasing it with his hands coming back down and took a knee. "Hear my words, boy. In the days of the first songs, the tulkuns fought among themselves for territory and for revenge. But they came to believe that killing, no matter how justified only brings more killing."

"So killing was forbidden." Tonowari glanced between the teens. "This is the tulkun way. Payakan is a killing, so he's outcast."

"I'm sorry sir, but you're wrong." Lo'ak spoke, Amiryat closed her eyes glancing over at her father, "lo'ak." Neytiri hissed from behind. "You are speaking to the Olo'eyktan."

Lo'ak began to speak only to be interrupted. "That's enough!" Jake shouts shaking his head. Lo'ak looked down then up to Tonowari. "I know what I know."

Ronal hissed quietly at his words. Jake glared at the back of his sons head, moving closer until he was staring at the side of his face. "That's enough." His voice was filled with venom. "I'll deal with this one." He yanked lo'ak up out the marui

The second lo'ak managed to escape his father's angered state he left the pod quite quickly, involving the death stare his father halted at the back on his head.

"Why would you let this happen?"

Amriyat knew it was her fault for allowing her brother to bond with an outcast, she could have stopped him and try to reason with him but instead she watched it happen, Jake peered down at her figure sitting on the floor, his hands clenched to his sides.

"Your better this, we taught you better." Neytiri walked in tilting her head down at her eldest, missing the way Neteyam raised his eyes at his father, Jake crouched down before her making their yellows eyes meet, god, how her mother wished their bond was forever but it could only lasted for so long.

"This is what happens when I go easy on you guys, you lash out and become reckless," Jake scoffs shaking his head. "You are responsible for protecting them when your mom or I aren't around, you know this," he took paused as her eyes glossed at his words. "Im not trying to punish you... but you have to be more responsible with your actions, because what you do they copy—"

Amiryat couldn't take the heat anymore, shaking her head, Jake paused mid sentence seeing the sudden change in her, she pushed up to feet, Jake immediately following taking a step back which made Neteyam stand as well. "that's all I do, i protect and care for my siblings, and I love doing that because I know they are safe. And I'm sorry that lo'ak bonded with Payakan but who was I to stop him." She scoff bitting her lip. "and I do try to be the perfect daughter you so desperately want, I can't be that, no one's that perfect not even you."

Amiryat huff blinking back as she tried to fight back the tears, lips parted with a gasp realizing her mistake. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that sir." Amiryat stepped back staring down at the bracelet Ao'nung made her. "It won't happen again."

Jake exhaled dropping his shoulders, his ears jerked back as he reached forward cupping her cheek, making her look up, Amirtay gulped at the sudden contact, though she waited for him to yell at her for talking back, but he didn't say anything he just held her cheek staring down with an expression she couldn't read, she didn't know what to feel or do.

She glanced back to her mother, Amiryat didn't like the feeling that came out from her eyes. "Amiryat." Jake spoke softly, she turned meeting his glaze, she shook her head now knowing that ever time they had a fight he would try to make things right and speak to her as if she was six all over again, she stepped away from her father quickly moving from their home, ignoring her father as he called for her.

She clicked her mouth calling for her ilu, watching the beautiful creature rise up from the ocean, she jumped into the water getting on her liu connecting the ends of her braid with Kari' and she dove into the water away from the village.

"ma Jake, why she leaving?" Neytiri ran outside as her daughter vanished from her view, neither of them could see Amiryat from where they stood, she was gone. "Its my fault, I keeping messing up and putting more pressure on her and I didn't realize that she was already holding enough stress, from leaving her home and adjusting to a new one."

Neytiri frowns exhaling softly, taking her mate' hand. Her heart was already broke when her family left the forest to protect her children and the people and now everything was falling apart. "Will she come back? it's almost eclipse she shouldn't be out there alone." Her mother insists kicked in. Jake comfort her from worrying about Amiryat, he wouldn't rest until his daughter returned safely.
