you gave me the strength

"Amiryat! Yawne not to fast!"

The night sky has been filled with nothing but laughter and stories from the couple, they both have forgotten about eclipse time and decided to explore more. "you said faster." She says leaning back against his chest, Ao'nung rubbed her arms as they crossed the sea with kro going at an average pace.

The young couple had been soaring the sky since eclipse came down, they both were enjoying the sea from above even went past the reef, they both knew the risk they took when the sun was no longer shining and the stars had taken over, but it was worth everything.

"You know my father came from a star." Amiryat mentions staring up at the billions of stars brightening the sky, Ao'nung hums following her glaze up to the sky. "though he never talks about where he came from, he told us that he had a twin called Tom."

"What happened to him?" Ao'nung tightened his grip around her waist, when she guided kro back around heading back home. "Dad told me he died, I don't know how he died but he died human."

Ao'nung knew her father was human before he became one of the people, his father had told him the stories as they got passed around the clan, "are we heading back?" He pressed his face against her cheek taking the view infront of him. Amiryat hums.

"Yes, I just know that my father is waiting for me, and your family is probably worried for you as well."

He didn't disagree with knowing that she was right, even though either of them wanted the night to end, they made a promise to each other they will see one other again, Amiryat sent her ikran away before she and Ao'nung made it down the hill.

"I really wish this night didn't have to end" Ao'nung signs swinging their hands as they walked down the beach, she smiles squeezing his hand. "We can always do it again." She told him softly.

"No, yeah definitely," Ao'nung says tugging her back when he stopped, he wanted a moment alone with her before they were forced to leave each other for the night. "Thank you for showing the sea from above."

Amiryat shrugs shaking her head, flashing her dimpled smile. "I'm glad that you enjoyed it as much as I did, but really should— y'know."

Ao'nung nods leaning down pressing a feather kiss to her hair, "have a good night, ma yawne." He smiles once more dropping her hand and walking back to his home, Amiryat couldn't contain the smile growing on her face.

Walking back to her home, she began to think about her life would be like if she and her family ever came to the sea clan, would she had never met Ao'nung and fall in love with him, was she destined to find another mate from the forest clan, she was so in Eywa' depth for making her fall love in Ao'nung.

Amiryat smile slowly left her face when she saw her father sitting by the small ledge outside the home, feet soaked in the glowing water, she started to walk hoping to pass him when his ear twitched back hearing his daughter's feet retract.

"ʼite?"

Amiryat glanced up upon hearing his soft but tried voice call for her, he nudged his head over, which to the girl stepped away from the home walking towards him, dipping her feet into the water as she moved closer to him but left a wild gap between them. "Why aren't you sleeping?" She asked quietly.

Jake hums rubbing his face. "I was waiting up for you sweet girl," Amiryat gulps turning to face away from him, not having the energy to have a conversation now, she knew this was Eywa' way to punish her being so distant from her father.

Jake could see the anxiousness on his daughters face, her arms wrapped around her body, from the cold moonlight, Jake glanced down then up to her resting a hand on her back. "You know care, I care for you, and I know I haven't been the best lately I know that and for that I apologize, I'm sorry baby, you have no idea how much I hate the way you and I drifted apart, we use to do everything together."

Amiryat faced him nodding, Jake grins wholeheartedly cupping her face stroking over the scar on her cheek breaking out a wide smile. "I remember the day your mother told me she was pregnant, I was so scared that I would fail that i wouldn't be able to do it, but then you came and you just knew who I was and your tiny baby hand wrapped around my pinky."

Amiryat inhaled as Jake wiped away the fresh tears from her face. "You are so incredibly, my first baby, you give me the strength to fight everyday, in that moment I knew that you would become someone that I could never be." Amiryat chocked out a sob throwing her arms around him frame.

Jake immediately cupped the back of her head as his other hand rubbed her back, holding her close to his chest like he did when she was a little girl, it was moments like these that Jake yearned for, kissing the side of her face, cheeks pressed together. "i love you, please don't ever forget that."

Jake woke up with a smile that morning, after last night spending half that morning with his daughter talking about whatever was on their minds was eventful, she even mentioned a boy though she didn't tell him a name, Jake wasn't upset about their being a boy in her life other then her brothers.

He just wants what's best for her, Neytiri noticed a change when she found her husband and eldest preparing breakfast with smiles on their faces, "something's happened?" Neytiri questions kissing her daughter' head.

Amiryat hums with lo'ak trailing behind his mother rubbing his eyes. "Dad and I had a long talk last night, we shared our differences and we realized that we aren't that different." Jake nods bringing a wooden bowl of fresh fruit over to the table.

Neytiri smiled patting her husband's chest, her heart swelled with joy and happiness for them. "So you told you father about this boy." She brought up, Jake laughs hugging Amiryat to his side.

"Yes, she did but didn't mention a name."

Kiri munched on her breakfast. "I can give you a name." She muttered causing Amiryat to smack her arm. Jake turned at the interaction. "Repeat that again." He said glancing between them, Kiri mouth open finding no words. "Uh, I said, uh- I- I can't think of anything."

Lo'ak chuckled at the expression of Amiryat' face, she rolled her eyes turning to face her parents. "She knows and everyone's else does too but I didn't give you a name because you might not except him after— everything."

"It's Ao'nung." Neteyam came through the flap of the home, Amiryat mumbles curses under her breath, wishing she can smack him over the head. "The chiefs son, y'know the one that was picking on Kiri."

"He wasn't picking on her."

"He wasn't picking on me."

The two older sully girls both said, no one knew the real story of what truly happened. Jake furrows turning to Kiri. "What do you mean by that? Lo'ak told me other wise."

Kiri signs turning to her older sister, she already told the story twice and if she told it again her head would explode, Amiryat patted her arm facing their dad. "Ao'nung came to Kiri defense when his friends were picking on her, then lo'ak came over took a swing at him and that's when they started fighting right before Kiri could say anything."

Jake squints turning to lo'ak, the teen jaw dropped raising his hands in defense. "I was protecting my sister, like you said I should." Jake hums shrugging him off when he turned back to his eldest with a cheeky grin. "So? About this boy?"

Amiryat groans throwing her head down on the table, Neytiri smiled smacking her mate' arm. "Don't tease your daughter, she's tell about him when she' ready." Jake frowns tugging his eldest daughter in his arms, pressing his face with hers. "Stop growing up so fast." He mumbles kissing her hair.

"Can't control it." She huffs, letting her father have his moment, "but trust that I'm not going anywhere any time soon." She says taking a bite out the yovo fruit. For the entire day the sully family stayed inside the marui, realizing how much they missed being together as one since leaning the way of the water.
