Chapter XXVIII

The police had finally contacted Kirishima about the villain, Kirishima told the police that he would be there soon, he didn't call to tell Izuku seeing as the younger was still practically avoiding him, though planning on calling him after getting the information they needed.

And so Kirishima headed to the police station in his Hero uniform, hoping to at least get some answers about what could have happened that night. And what on Earth that quirk did to him.

"Hello Red Riot, the criminal is in the interrogation room, but where is Archangel?" The detective asked while Kirishima merely looked at the criminal through the one-sided glass

"He's busy at the moment. I will be taking a report of this to speak with him about later." Kirishima stated while the detective merely nodded

"Though I would like you to know that I have my own personal matters that I have to question this man about, so I would prefer it if you could wait at your desk and I will bring the report that I get." Kirishima requested while the detective looked at him skeptically.

"My apologizes Sir, but I'm afraid that I don't completely follow and it is a bit unethical for me to leave here, because legally another person must witness the interrogation to make sure that everything is followed orderly. If Archangel were here, I wouldn't hesitate to leave, but I'm afraid it is just protocol" The detective explained while Kirishima groaned quietly.

"Fine, but any personal business of mine that you may hear, will not be mentioned or even referred to outside of this room, and only between us. Am I clear." Kirishima commanded, while putting a fair amount of venom in his words as to emphasize the hidden threat in Kirishima's words.

"Yes, sir. I would never even imagine speaking of your personal life without your explicit permission." The detective stated as he had to force himself not to slouch in intimidation of the larger Alpha.

"Thank you, detective. Also, I suggest you don't step in while I'm in there. From my experience fighting him, a bit of force might be necessary" Kirishima stated as his former exterior of danger and malice vanished, allowing the detective to sigh in relief as he nodded his head to the Pro.

Kirishima then walked into the room as he grabbed the file on the criminal before slamming it down on the table the villain was cuffed to.

"Tengu Yokai. Am I correct? It says here this is not your first arrest. Though this is your first time being associated with the prominent gang that has emerged lately." Kirishima stated coldly while the criminal's breath hitched slightly at the sight of the Pro.

"And I'm guessing without that quirk enhancer drug in your system anymore you don't feel as confident as you did a while ago. Am I right?" Kirishima asked coldly though already knowing the answer as the villain refused to make eye contact with him.

"Now this can go two ways. Either you give me the information that I need, or this can get very ugly. Very quickly." Kirishima threatened as the gravel in his voice deepened.

"W-What's wrong Hero? S-Still pissed that I hit you with m-my quirk. Well, I hope you at least enjoyed the side effects." The villain said shakily as he laughed at the end.

"You know I'm not sure, maybe if you fill me in on the details of your quirk then I could properly thank you." Kirishima said bluntly, though his sarcasm leaking out of his sentence.

"And what will I get if I do?"

"Well, if you tell me your quirk and what it does to others, where your gang it and what it is that you people are trying to accomplish, and you tell me why the hell you shot that woman. Then I can speak to the judge and the police on reducing your sentence for cooperation and give you parole. Which you'll need." Kirishima bargained while the villain looked down to his lap, keeping his mouth shut.

"You know Yokai, how do you think your son would react to finding out his dear old dad is in prison for shooting an innocent woman and attacking a Pro Hero? Right now, all your wife and son know is that you are being held by the police for questioning. But I could call them, and tell them to stop by so they can hear the woman's story and my own. I'm sure they both will be thrilled to hear it." Kirishima threatened, his voice dripping with venom as he glared at the man intimidatingly, as the villain stared at him wide eyed while he went as pale as a ghost.

"Or you could cooperate, be allowed visiting time with your wife and son, and I can just tell them you got caught up in a bad situation at a bad time, but you helped the police and Pro's by telling them the truth and now you just have to do a bit of time and everything will be okay! Now you tell me which you prefer." Kirishima commanded while the criminal looked down to his lap as he grinded his teeth.

"Fine I'll tell you the truth." The man stated as he brought his gaze back up to Kirishima.

"Perfect! But I should remind you, that little machine your hooked up to is a lie detector, so if you even think about fudging the truth even just a bit, then I'll now. And this will only get worse." Kirishima threatened while the criminal only growled quietly before nodding his head.

"Good now tell me who do you work for and why did you shoot that woman?"

"I work for the gang called Kuragari. We take children and young adults around the ages of 10-22 to create soldiers. We used to work for All-For-One and Shigaraki. Before you defeated them. Now we just take them so we can have disposable lackey's to do most of our work." The criminal stated as the lie detector alerted Kirishima that he was telling the truth, though Kirishima had to hold back his immediate rage at the confession.

"And the woman?"

"She was one of the harder ones to train, she broke out one day and I had to go get her. Normally for kids we'll lock em up in a room and just break them down until their compliant. Sometimes it takes only a few months, while others it can take years. But we got her maybe a year back and she just never learned." The criminal explained while Kirishima was left appalled.

Though the red head couldn't help the connection that he made when the villain explained on how they break the kids down. It sounded far too much like what Izuku went through for Kirishima to not be curious. Though he prayed that he was wrong.

"Tell me does a child with wings, and a healing quirk sound familiar to you? Maybe the child of Pro Hero Hawks? That you assumed you killed?" Kirishima asked venomously as he held himself back from completely mauling the criminal.

Though when the man paled and his eyes went wide at Kirishima's question, the Alpha knew.

And he was livid.

"I-I don't know what y-you're talking about." The criminal stated shakily, though only for the lie detector to alert Kirishima, that he had lied.

"You know, your people took 3 years of life from him. You took his father, and caused so much emotional, mental, and physical trauma to him. And yet you have the fucking gall to pretend like you don't know what the fuck I'm talking about!?!" Kirishima roared as he slammed his hands down onto the table.

Only for him to grab the man by the collar and raise him above his head, breaking the hand cuffs that had once chained the villain to the table. The man cried out in pain at the feeling of the metal cutting his skin as Kirishima's force caused them to break against his skin.

"I-It wasn't me!! I'm not the one who did that! I swear!! It was some other guys from some other district!! I only know because a few guys came over to my district and started bragging about it until one of the leaders made them shut up!! I swear I had nothing to do with it!!" The man shouted as he desperately tried to get Kirishima to let go of him, while the Alpha merely continued to growl viscously.

Kirishima then threw the man back down into his seat as the criminal put as hand to his throat and took in shaky breaths as he sobbed quietly.

"You're pathetic. You have the gall to admit that you torture children and other people for your own gain! Just to use them as mere disposable lackey's!! You have a son and wife who you keep this from, and I wouldn't be surprised if you told me that you've considered putting your own son through that as well. You're one of the most pathetic excuses of an Alpha I've ever fucking seen." Kirishima berated cruelly as the man only continued to shake violently.

"And I fucking warned you, if you lie to me this would only get worse. Now you still have to answer a few of my questions" Kirishima stated coldly as he pulled out a few zip ties and tied the man back to the table as the criminal looked up at him slowly. Trying to put on a strong front, though the tears on his face and his own shaking helping little to none with his attempt.

"Now tell me what is your quirk? And what does it do with and without the quirk enhancing drug?" Kirishima asked while the criminal only looked back down at the table as he tried to get his composure.

"M-My quirk is rage inducer. Without the quirk enhancer it will only put someone in a rage induced state, the state can only be stopped or dulled if that person's mate is there."

"And with the quirk enhancer"

But with the quirk enhancer the state can last longer and cause you to lose all morals and values and to just destroy whatever you see. Though whenever I've used the drug no one has had their mate there at the scene, so I don't know if they would be able to stop them immediately" The criminal stated as he took a breath while Kirishima only nodded.

"Though from what I've had a few people tell me afterwards, the apparently only calmed down slightly when their mate was there, though they felt the need to remark them. And they had no memory of what had happened once my quirk wears off." The man explained as Kirishima went wide eyed.

"Do the victims of your quirk always remark their mate?!" Kirishima practically shouted as the man looked at him skeptically.

"Yes, every time from what I've been told. From the stories I've heard from Alpha's I've used it on, if they didn't have a mate, they would end up marking their soulmate, if they found them that is." The criminal explained as Kirishima paled. Only for the criminal to go wide eyed as he made the connection, while he began to laugh.

"Oh my! Please tell me dear Hero, who is the luck person? I do hope you had already marked them long before I got to you. Or I can only imagine the tension you must feel!!" The criminal shouted as he laugh manically.

"No more questions" Kirishima stated with a quiet growl as he grabbed the file from the table and left the room, only for the detective to come up to him.

"Sir, are you alright? We have all the information needed. And the report is right here. Don't worry I left out the part where he brought up you, and Hawks child, and where you.... uh.... got a bit aggressive." The detective stated as he handed Kirishima the report while Kirishima began to read through it to make sure everything was as it needed to be.

"Thank you, detective, I'll have this turned in. Please take care of him accordingly and inform his wife." Kirishima commanded as the detective nodded to the Pro.

Kirishima then walked out of the building and flew off to his agency to turn in the report. Once turning the report in and taking a seat in the lounge area of the agency Kirishima grabbed his phone and called Izuku.

"Izuku come to my house now. We need to talk"
