Chapter XXI

It had been at least a full year since the war between Villains and Hero's. Kirishima had left UA, though only to be retrieved by his friends. Kirishima had ended up telling his friends about One-For-All. And together he and his friends defeated the League of Villains.

In the second year of UA Shinsou had joined their class. Though Shinsou joining was not the only thing that had happened in second year.

Many of the Nomu's had been captured including Kurogiri who was able to be turned back somewhat normal thanks to a few medical procedures and Izuku's healing abilities.

But he was not the only one they were able to turn back, after learning that Izuku's healing could speed up the process he was asked multiple times to help heal the few Nomu's who had not been fully corrupted.

Though among one of them was Keigo Takami. Though no one truly knew it was him, when the other Pro's had found the semi-human, a few recognized him as the once believed to be dead Pro Hero Hawks, and he was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital.

Though once getting to the hospital the man seemingly awoke from whatever comatose state he had been put in, as he fought against the other Pro's and doctors with a passion.

The Pro's and doctors were able to put the man in restraints in a standing position to one of the walls, as they hesitantly called Aizawa and asked him to bring Izuku just as he always did whenever Izuku would have to go to one of the hospitals to heal the Nomu's.

Though when warned at how aggressive and hostile the man was Aizawa didn't even consider allowing Izuku into the room to even meet eyes with the man. Only for Izuku to sneak into the room the minute Aizawa wasn't looking, not wanting to give up the opportunity to see if it truly was his father.

Though the minute he walked into the room Hawks once again began to fight against his restraints at the sensing of a new person in the room. Though it only took Izuku a second to realize that this Nomu truly was his father, as golden eyes met the identical pair.

"D-Dad." Izuku Takami, 15-years-old, Omega, Occupation 2nd year student, Mate: unknown. Izuku stuttered as he gently walked forward to his father, unveiling his wings, and allowing them to fall gently to his sides, displaying he was of no threat. And gently taking off his mask, hoping that his father would recognize him.

The man seemed to freeze when Izuku called to him. Though instead of words Keigo chirped quietly to the boy as Izuku could only cry as he quietly chirped back to the man.

Though just as Keigo seemed to go fully lax at the realization that this was his child, his baby bird. He immediately became tense and aggressive once again the minute Aizawa and the other doctors barged in.

"Problem child! What are you doing?! Get away from him!" Aizawa yelled as he went to reach out for the boy only to freeze as he looked at the boy's unmasked face, something he hadn't truly seen before.

Only to flinch again at the loud growling and the potent scent that could only be recognized as Alphan rage filled the room, as the man bared his teeth in aggression towards the adults in the room. "Wait! Mr. Aizawa, please. He's, my dad." Izuku said quietly while Aizawa's eyes widened in realization.

"Everyone leave." Aizawa stated though a few of the doctors looked to him skeptically.

"I said now!" Aizawa shouted as the last few immediately ran out of the room.

"I am right behind the door Takami, call me if you need me." Aizawa stated while Izuku merely nodded.

As Aizawa left the scent died down completely and the growls went silent as Keigo once again gained the seemingly calm exterior.

"Dad I'm going to help you, okay? Just please stay calm" Izuku stated as Keigo only stared at him intently, though Izuku could only shiver at the shiny black skin overtook patches of his father's face and body.

Though when Izuku was close enough to actually touch his father the man then ripped off one of the restraints that held his arm as he went to touch Izuku's face. Izuku immediately flinched though realized quickly what his father wanted.

So, he gingerly let his head rest against his father's chest as the man's hand went straight to the boys hair that was currently held up in a bun, while Keigo let out a quiet yet reassuring rumble that quickly soothed Izuku nerves just as it always had.

Though the boy began to cry at the sounds as he brought his hands up to his father's shirt and gripped on tightly while he sobbed into the man's chest. Keigo immediately let out a small chirp as he struggled yet again with his other restraints, growing agitated at the fact he couldn't comfort his son.

"I-It's okay dad, I need to heal you." Izuku said as he sniffled a bit only for Keigo to let out another questioning chirp that Izuku only nuzzled his father's chest in return for. Though immediately once Keigo was settled once again Izuku's eyes went completely while as a goldish hue surrounded the man and Izuku's wings emitted the same golden hue.

Izuku didn't know how long he was using his quirk for; he didn't pay attention. The sound of Aizawa trying fruitlessly to open the know locked door just became mere white noise inside of his mind as his vision went white, which he couldn't tell if it was from his quirk, or from Keigo's hospital shirt.

Though what finally snapped him out of his trance was the feeling of two hands grip his face as a familiar scent surrounded in him in a deeply missed shield of comfort. Izuku quirk quickly deactivated as his wings vanished as did the golden hue.

Izuku could only sob as he refused to open his eyes. Horrified that this was just another cruel prank that his mind was playing on him. Though the feeling of being encased in what he recognized as his father's signature hug finally made him open his eyes as the deafening silence was then replaced by soft cooing.

"It's okay baby bird. Daddies here, nothing's going to hurt you, I promise I'm right here." Keigo stated quietly as Izuku's eyes widened at the sight of the shiny black skin splotches now completely gone and replaced by healthy skin and a few scars on the man's face, though Izuku knew that he couldn't make the scar fade away more so than he already had. Keigo was kneeling on the ground having broken out of the restraints as he held Izuku in his lap protectively.

"D-Dad!" Izuku wailed as he only gripped onto his father tighter. The familiar scent of ink and new leather comforting him.

"It's okay baby bird I'm here, I'm back." Keigo said as his own tears cascaded down his face. Though the peace was quickly broken by Aizawa finally breaking down the door that Keigo had sent one of his feathers to lock.

Keigo immediately pulled the both of them around as he had his back facing the door and Aizawa with Izuku still clinging to him. The Alpha's growl resonated around the room as a few of his feathers sharpened and surrounded Aizawa, making the threat of him getting shanked by a sharpened feather very clear.

"Hawks. I know that you are Keigo Takami. I won't tell anyone, but I am responsible for Izuku. I am his teacher at UA. I understand that right now you don't want to trust me, but I need to make sure that Izuku is safe." Aizawa stated as Keigo stopped growling and made his feathers return to him while looking at Aizawa questioningly.

"UA? N-No. Izuku's only 11... M-Maybe 12 now. But he's too young to go to UA. How do you truly know him?!" Keigo shouted while he then brought his wings to wrap around Izuku as brought the boy up with him as he stood. Aizawa then looked at the man shocked as he then realized that Keigo had no idea how long it had truly been.

"D-Dad he r-really is m-my teacher. I-I go to UA" Izuku stated quietly while Keigo snapped his head to the boy while looking at him shock and questioningly. Izuku immediately recognizing the look as the one his father would give him whenever he wanted answers.

"Dad I-I'm 15. I-I go to UA. You've been dead- g-gone... F-For at least four years." Izuku stated while Keigo only turned as pale as a ghost.

"F-Four years?! N-No! No, no, no, no. I-I was with you not that long ago! I-I remember everything! T-The buildings, the attack, y-you. I-It can't have been. Y-You can't be..." Keigo struggled out as he once again grabbed Izuku's face though this time examining it closely and realizing that it was true.

"Mr. Aizawa can you call my aunts please? T-There's a lot we need to talk about." Izuku stated while Aizawa merely nodded and pulled out his phone while calling the women.

All the while Keigo could only hugged Izuku tighter as he sobbed into Izuku's hair while Izuku merely buried himself once again into Keigo's chest.

Once Retai and Itori had gotten to the hospital Keigo was changed into more comfortable clothes while the police and a few representatives from the Hero Commission took the report on Keigo's experience and what had happened, while also making sure it was known that Keigo would indeed be returning to the Hero industry soon, also taking a vow of silence of the fact that Izuku was Keigo's son.

After the police and representatives left the hospital Aizawa informed the Satari's of everything that had happened thus far as he left the room and allowed the family some privacy.

After Izuku and the Satari's had explained absolutely everything from the time of Keigo's "death" up until that very point in time, Keigo was crying as he held Izuku protectively while the boy cried as well.

Once Keigo was discharged from the hospital Izuku, Itori, and Retai happily took Keigo back home, where Keigo was relieved that almost nothing had changed, especially in his room.

And after a few days of rest and Keigo getting examined by the doctors a few more times to make sure that no procedures would need to be done, Keigo had to face the media.

The press conference was tiresome especially when one certain nosy reported asked if it was true that Izuku Takami was indeed Keigo's son, and if it was true that Keigo's surname was Takami. Keigo immediately knew that one of the police or representatives had blabbed, and he planned to deal with it none the less. Though he did confirm the fact, not exactly enjoying the idea of denying his son.

After the press conference a few legal actions had to be taken, such as Keigo claiming right back to the house, bills, his agency, and a few other things. Though none of it too hard seeing as Izuku had practically done all of that work a while ago.

And not to mention getting his Hero license renewed and meeting up with many of the other Pros who wanted to know how his agency would be working from then on with him back in charge.

Not to mention having to meet up with Nezu and a few of Izuku's other teachers about Izuku's new guardian information. That Izuku was relieved to see was originally under the Satari's name. Though either way immediately changing it back to his guardianship.

But finally, after all of the tedious and strenuous tasks were done Izuku and Keigo were more than pleased to finally get their well-deserved time alone to just relax and reconnect with each other.

And absolutely no one dared disturbed them or even questioned them as they both took a good week off of everything to finally breathe. Although returning to work and school was a bit of an adjustment for the both of them seeing as Keigo didn't truly know how to feel about the whole dorms situation.

But eventually everything fell back into place, just as it once was. Keigo would constantly visit Izuku whenever he was on patrol at Nighteye's agency and Izuku would come home whenever given the chance.

Though when everyone in his class found out that Izuku was indeed the son of the famous Pro Hero Hawks. They had many questions though Izuku was only able to answer a few, seeing as some of the questions, answers tied into the past that Izuku didn't truly want to bring up.

Though Kirishima easily saw through Izuku's deflecting, and once the boy was alone, he confronted him about it. And nevertheless, Kirishima joined one of the few who knew the truth of what had truly happened to Izuku throughout his life. And to say the least Kirishima swore to his friend that he wouldn't allow something like that ever happen to him again.

And to say the least the two boys grew closer because of it, and everything fell into place.

Until they had finally became Pro Hero's. Where a new challenge awaited them.
