Chapter II

Inko had planned this out perfectly.

Well almost perfectly, and she didn't exactly plan much of it, though she helped get things along.

She had met Tensei Iida one day when he came into the hospital for a check-up. They had ended up talking about their families and daily lives, though when Tensei brought up his younger brother who was only a year older than Izuku, she saw an opportunity.

Thankfully Tensei was very open-minded when Inko had asked if his little brother would be interested in meeting Izuku. Tensei, seeing an opportunity for his brother to finally make a friend, agreed.

Though Inko did warn Tensei that she was married to a Pro Hero and that they would be meeting when they introduced the children, she warned him that nothing was to be told to anyone about Izuku's father.

Of course, Tensei agreed, fully understanding the need to protect your loved ones. So, he didn't hesitate to reassure Inko that not a word would be spoken to anyone.

Now all she had to do was convince her husband. A task much easier said than done.

"Inko! No, it doesn't matter that they're a family of Pros too! Word could get out, and then you and Izuku would be in danger!!" Keigo argued as he held Inko's and Izuku's purse and backpack out of reach.

"Keigo! You're being ridiculous, Izuku is 5, he needs friends! Besides Iida swore to me that not a word would be said! And I already told them that we would be there! Including you!" Inko tried to reason though Keigo only used a few of his feathers to completely take the purse and backpack out of reach.

"Inko did you tell them I was your husband? Things change when people realize I'm the number 3 Pro Hero." Keigo stated as Inko only sighed in frustration and wrapped her arms around her husband's shoulders and rested her head on his chest, while Keigo wrapped his arms around her waist and held her securely.

"Please Keigo, Izuku needs at least one friend, and if anything happens then we can move, I'll take up an online medical job and Izuku will still be homeschooled." Inko bargained, and Keigo only sighed knowing his wife would not make a promise like that if she wasn't 100% serious about what she was saying.

"Fine, we'll go meet the Iida's" Keigo sighed as Inko only smiled and kissed his cheek.

Keigo had insisted on them flying to the Iida's so they wouldn't have to worry about trying to get in a car if they had to make a grand escape. Keigo merely carried Inko in his arms while Izuku clung to his back with his own small wings spread out.

Though Keigo's mind drifted away from his paranoia when he heard Izuku's small cheers of joy. "You like flying hatchling?" Keigo shouted over the howl of the rushing wind, while Izuku only cheered in confirmation.

"I'll have to take you flying more soon hatchling! Need to teach you how to fly like daddy!" Keigo shouted while Inko merely slapped his arm.

"I think not Keigo! There is absolutely no way you're teaching our baby to fly like you! You crazy stunt man!" Inko shouted while Keigo only laughed.

"What? Come on now, baby birds got to know how to fly!" Keigo protested while Inko only shook her head in disapproval.

Once they had gotten to the Iida household Keigo made sure to keep Izuku close to him, though when Tensei opened the door, the man went wide-eyed at the sight of the number two Pro Hero.

"Well, then Takami you weren't joking about you being married to a secretive Pro!" Tensei Iida/Ingenium, 22-years-old, Alpha, Occupation: Pro Hero, Mate: Unknown. Tensei said jokingly as he invited them in.

"Don't worry nothing will be said about this Hawks. And if it makes you more comfortable, we have a phone bowl we place our phones in during gatherings, mine is already in there, if you want you can place yours in there as well." Tensei explained as Keigo caught sight of the bowl which indeed held a phone as he and Inko placed their own in the bowl.

"And you are Izuku right?" Tensei said gently, while Izuku nuzzled further into his father's shoulder as he nodded his head gently.

"He's shy, he's not used to being around a lot of different people other than us, he's homeschooled," Keigo stated as he brought his free hand up to Izuku's curls and gently rubbed his head to calm the child.

"I see, though I don't blame you, my parents were thinking of putting Tenya in homeschool, but they just settled on the private academy I went to" Tensei explained while Inko only hummed in thought as she side-eyed her husband, who only looked to her and shook his head.

"Oh, by the way, Tenya is in his room, Izuku if you want you can go say hi, don't worry he won't bite" Tensei joked lightly while Izuku looked up to his father for confirmation, while Keigo only nodded his head.

"Where is Tenya's room?" Keigo questioned as Tensei merely motioned towards the end of one of the hallways as he led the trio to the child's room.

"Hey, Tenya! Remember when I told you about that new friend? Well, they're here!" Tensei said as a small boy with square glasses put down his book and looked up to the adult, though paying more attention to Keigo who was still holding Izuku, while Izuku had his face buried in his father's shoulder, with his wings wrapped around himself tightly.

"Hello, I'm Tenya Iida it's nice to meet you" Tenya Iida, 6-years-old, Alpha, Occupation: Year 1 student, Mate: Unknown. Tenya introduced himself while Keigo only ruffled Izuku's hair gently as he set the boy down and faced him towards Tenya.

"H-Hi, I-I'm Izuku Takami" Izuku Takami, 5-year-old, Omega, Occupation: Kindergartener, Mate: Unknown. Izuku introduced himself while Tenya only gave a small smile.

"Do you like books?" Tenya asked as Izuku nodded gently

"I have a lot; do you want to read them with me?"

"Y-Yeah" Izuku answered while Tenya grabbed his hand and led him to the bookshelf that was in the corner of the boy's room, while both boys each grabbed a book and sat on the small fluffy chairs beside the bookshelf as they both went into their own world.

"I... I have no idea what I was expecting but that seems about right for my brother" Tensei said lightly while he led Keigo and Inko back into the living room while closing Tenya's door.

"That is actually right about Izuku's theme anyways, though they seem like they already are becoming good friends!" Inko said happily as Keigo only nodded.

"Yes, well I am happy that you suggested this Takami, Tenya needed a new friend," Tensei said while Inko only smiled.

"This was a good idea, I say we should schedule them to be able to see each other more often, especially since Tenya seems to be a smart one, he and Izuku can help each other with their schoolwork." Keigo chimed in while Tensei only smiled

"Of course! My parents are both pretty busy so if anything, it might just be easier to talk to me, though I'll give you their numbers just in case!" Tensei said as he and the couple sat down in the living room.

With Izuku and Tenya the two hadn't spoken much since they had both sat down and began to read their books. Though Izuku had many questions about the engines that seemed to be growing out of Tenya's legs could no longer stay quiet.

"What is your quirk? Does it have something to do with those engines in your legs? Is it similar to your brothers? How old are you? Where do you go to school? What's your favorite color? What's your food?" Izuku rambled out question after question while Tenya merely put down his book before placing his hand over Izuku's mouth, silencing the boys rambling.

"My quirk is Engine, yes my quirk is because of the engines in my legs, it is practically the same as my brothers, I can run incredibly fast due to it, I am 6, I go to a private academy, my favorite color is picotee blue, my favorite food is beef stew. What about you?"

"My quirk is Angel, I have my wings, I can control each of the feathers individually and I can heal people, I'm 5, I'm homeschooled, my favorite color is red, and my favorite food is Katsudon."

"I see, so are we friends now Izuku? I believe this is how friends work." Tenya questioned while Izuku only smiled and hugged the boy, wrapping his wings around the both of them.

"Yeah! We're friends now!" Izuku cheered while Tenya only smiled and hugged the boy back.

"So, do you want to go play outside? No one will see us" Tenya said while Izuku only smiled and nodded.

To say the least, the two boys easily became the best of friends, practically inseparable, and their parents couldn't have been happier about it.
