On the next day, the production team didn't bother them so early like yesterday. They were told that they would start shooting around lunch time together with the other two pairings to play with each other.

Xiaoting and Yujin were waiting just outside the restaurant that they were told they'd be meeting at. They were standing right outside, waiting for the director's cue for them to enter.

When they received the go signal, they entered the restaurant. The cameras were placed in front of three separate square tables - one pair for each table. Yujin led them to the far right table and sat down. They were talking about whatever when the next pair came in with big smiles and excited hello's.

Yujin was acquainted with the two women who were currently approaching them. Bona and Eunseo are from two sister girl groups, WJSN and Uzzu respectively. The company debuted them at the same time with different concepts. WJSN was more feminine and sultry while Uzzu leaned towards girl crush and hiphop. Despite being in different groups, the fans were fond of the bond of the two. They would usually have overlapping schedules and they wouldn't hesitate to show their closeness to the fans. Fans dimmed their relationship like an old sticky married couple.

Yujin stood up as Bona excitedly walked up to her and hugged her as they were familiar with each other.

"Yujin!" Called the idol. "It's been a long time.~"

"It has. How have you been?"

After asking how they were, they introduced their respective partners and sat back down. The EunBo couple sat on the middle table. Xiaoting would politely add a comment once or twice while the three conversed happily.

After a few more minutes, the next couple arrived.

They politely bowed in front of the cameras and to the two present pairing. Xiaoting personally knew the purple-haired beauty because she was once the ambassador of one of their brands. She remembered her because she was one of the few models who didn't have any scandals when she was working for them. Yujin waved at the shorter of the two because she knew that the girl was from the girl band called Aespa. Winter was the vocalist and bassist of the group. On the other hand, Karina was a model and actress so she wasn't as familiar with her.

Despite the two being in different circles, the two were always seen together during their free time. In one of Winter's vlogs, Karina was invited as a guest and the fans loved their dynamic. When the two shared that they considered each other as soulmates, the two blew up in the internet as they both had huge individual fan bases. It could have been a one time thing, but the two constantly updated their personal social with each other which only attracted more fans.

"Ms. Shen! I didn't expect that we would be in the same variety show one day." Karina said politely.

"Likewise, Ms. Yoo. But I hope you could call me comfortably." Xiaoting gave her an amiable smile.

"Yes.~ Them you could just call me Karina or Jimin, if you'd like."

"Okay, Karina."

The others were curious about how they knew each other so Karina shared it to them. The WinRina couple sat down on the far left table.

Once everyone reintroduced each other, they finally sat down as the director called their attention.

"Since everyone is finally acquainted with each other, I'm sure you're all famished. Just like yesterday, today's lunch will be paid by doing a task. The three couples will be playing together to accomplish the task. If you lose, you will pay evenly for lunch. And if not, the production team will pay for it. Please choose one representative to pick a task."

As the sunbae, the pairs unanimously chose Yujin to be their representative. Yujin coolly agreed with their decision and stood up. Once she gave the director the envelope she chose, the director started reading aloud the task.

"The task for today's lunch is called 'Mukbang: Red Light, Green Light'. You will be given a set of foods which you will have to finish within a certain time. A staff will be the doll to say red light and green light. Once the staff see you move, you will be eliminated and can't help the team finish the food. If you do not finish the food within the given time, you will fail the task. Now, we have five different sets of food - set A, B, C, D and E. You will not know the contents of the set as your luck will play an important role in choosing what set to eat. Now, please choose which set."

They all decided for Xiaoting to do the honors of choosing. She was hesitant but the others assured her that they would eat whatever she chooses. Once Xiaoting pointed at set C, the director read aloud the menu.

Fried chicken, korean barbeque, large octopus pajeon, kimchi jiggae, korean jeongol and a few side dishes.

Apparently, it had the most number of dishes. Xiaoting guiltily looked at them but the other just laughed.

"It's okay, eonnie. Jimin likes chicken. She likes it so much but she's scared of birds." Winter giggled.

"TMI, Minjeong. But that's right, it's delicious." Karina affirmed.

"Really?" Yujin asked, shocked. "Are you scared of animals in general or just specific ones?"

"She likes snakes." Winter interjected.

"What!?" The others asked, baffled.

Karina nonchalantly shrugged. "They're cute."

Bona laughed. "She's afraid of chickens but finds snakes cute."

"I'm afraid of fish though." Karina added.

"Really!?" The others asked in shock.

"Wait," Eunseo raised her hand. "You're afraid of fish, but I'm guessing you like sashimi?"

"... That's right, they're delicious."

The other members and the staff laughed at how adorable she was. Even Xiaoting couldn't help but chuckle.

The staff ordered the set and the restaurant personnel quickly prepared the dishes. The three pairs decided to connect their tables together to be more efficient later.

When the food was being served, Xiaoting noticed that Yujin pushed her hair inside her sweater- probably to keep it out of the way when she eats. Xiaoting stands up to ask the staff for some hair tie. She noticed the female staff that has been following them since yesterday to film them and approached her.

"Excuse me, do you have any hair tie I could borrow?"

The staff was curious but didn't bother asking any questions and simply rummaged her pocket if she had any. Luckily, she did and gave it to Xiaoting. The woman of few words walked back to their table and naturally combed Yujin's hair with her fingers. The way Yujin didn't flinch made the female staff wonder if she was used to it. She couldn't help feeling her heart flutter at the sight. I have to shoot this scene beautifully for my eyes- I mean the fans. The fans would love this, yes.

When everything was ready, the game started without any hitch.

They were only given 20 minutes to finish everything. They decided to finish one menu as a team rather than dividing their team. This would make it easier and faster to finish as the amount wouldn't overwhelm one person.

"Game start! Mugunghwa kkochi pieot seumni~da!"

The staff turned and everyone paused. The WinRina and XiaoJin couple was just reaching for the chicken. The EunBo duo both had one in their mouth but Eunseo's was comical as she looked like she was just about to take a bite off of the chicken wing. The game carried on until they finished the friend chicken, barbeque and octopus pajeon without anyone getting eliminated.

"Mu~gung~hwa kkochi pi~eot seum~ni~da!"

They were now focusing on the korean jeongol when the staff suddenly turned around. WinRina was okay as the former was only holding a cup of water while the latter was holding a fork. Xiaoting had her arms across the table, seemingly about to take some pieces to eat while Yujin's cheeks were puffed filled with food. Bona was trying her hardest not to laugh at Eunseo's expression. Eunseo was currently puckering her lips in an attempt to sip the soup that was on her spoon. Her hands were shaking a bit which caused for some of it to spill on her shirt.

The staff turned back around again. Eunseo groaned while the staff laughed at her. Bona couldn't even chew her food properly.

"Now my shirt's ruined." Eunseo complained.

"That's alright. It's just a little spill. Back in the dorm, we would walk around in nothing else." Bona commented.

"-seumnida!"

Just at that moment, the staff turned around again. Yujin bursted out laughing which made a few drops of food come out of her mouth while Winter choked on the water she was about to drink. Eunseo snorted and moved back as some water from Winter splashed her. This made Yujin cough her food out while laughing. Xiaoting worriedly looked at her and was about to move to hand her some water when Yujin pat her legs.

"Don't move, I'm okay." Whispered the singer while giggling.

Eunseo indignantly stood up. "Wait, let me explain properly before we continue the game. It's not that we walk around naked, it's more like we walk around in light clothing."

"You were naked the last time you were eating-"

"That's not it! Wait!-"

The staffs and the others were laughing hysterically at the newly provided information.

When laughter finally died down, the three eliminated members moved to the side. The three were not nervous that their partners wouldn't be able to finish because there were only a few side dishes left.

The three remaining players sat closer together. Yujin moved towards the director who was facing the main camera. She looked at the screen and couldn't help muttering, "Daebak."

Winter and Eunseo heard and asked what happened and she simply pointed towards the camera. The other two also praised what they saw.

Unbeknownst to them, the director signalled a cameraman to film their reaction because he thought it was entertaining.

"Wow, this should be illegal. Look at how beautiful they are. Are they going to take responsibility for all the hearts that would suffer from their beauty?" Eunseo praised.

Winter nodded her head in agreement. "If those three plan to conquer the world, I'm sure everyone would just agree without questions asked."

"That's right," Yujin commented. "And we would be their loyal slaves."

"That's right!" The three laughed at their conversation.

When this part was broadcasted, the fans laughed at the unexpected camaraderie they formed when they praised the beauty of their partners. The fans dubbed them "the three wife slaves".

The game carried on until Xiaoting, Bona and Karina finished all the food successfully. After resting for a bit, the director motioned for them to start shooting again for the next segment.

"Since everyone got to eat already, we'll ba playing a game. You will be playing against each other. The goal of the game is simple, you will be tasked to buy a few items from a convenience store. You will have to follow a simple route and stops. The team who finishes quickly will win the game. But there's a twist! You are not allowed to run, smile and laugh."

Eunseo raised her hand. "What happens if we fail?"

"You will be given three chances to try again from the start, but if you lose all those chances without finishing the task, there will be a punishment. Are the rules understood?"

Everyone answered with a yes. The first couple to take on the challenge was XiaoJin.

The female staff followed the two to film their reactions. Xiaoting and Yujin left the restaurant to begin their route. Yujin kept slapping herself lightly because she's worried she'll laugh at anything and everything.

Suddenly, two middle schoolers approached them excitedly.

"Hello, we're huge fans of the both of you! May we have your autograph?"

Although they were confused, they still kindly took the pens they were holding out.

"I don't have an autograph to give though." Xiaoting whispered.

Yujin abruptly turned her head up. "Stop. Don't talk. I'm already about to laugh." She was clearly having a hard time keeping a straight face despite the absence of anything remotely considered funny.

"Oh. Sorry." Xiaoting scratched her head, confused. "Should I just draw stars? Like those ones teachers give out to good kids."

"Shen Xiaoting, it's physically hurting me right now not to laugh. Please. Stop. Talking." Yujin kept her head up while biting her lips.

Xiaoting almost smiled at the sight but stopped herself and simply drew stars on the paper that was given to her.

"Oh, wait we still have our friend over there!" They pointed towards the girl who was facing them with her back. When she turned around, Yujin quickly turned around and faced Xiaoting.

Xiaoting didn't mind the young girl with long nose hairs, however when she saw Yujin making a weird face to stop herself from laughing, Xiaoting can't help but laugh.

Yujin playfully slapped her shoulders. "Yah! I'm trying so hard not to laugh and you just go rudely laughing at my face!"

Xiaoting was still laughing while the older kept glaring at her. "B-but your face-" She can't finish her sentence as she laughed again.

When the female staff saw how carefree Xiaoting's laugh was, she felt her heart flutter. How beautiful~ Even the editors were fascinated that they edited the scene by adding flowers and a 'shalala~' kind of music. This was clipped by the fans in no time.

They went back again to the starting line. After passing the fanatic middle schoolers, they saw a weird looking aunt. Yujin linked her arms with Xiaoting and whispered, "Be careful, I can sense an ominous aura coming from that stall."

Xiaoting glanced at her and shook her head to focus and not to laugh. For some reason, everything seemed funny to her right now. She was still looking at Yujin when the singer suddenly turned around.

"What's wrong?" She asked and was about to look at the front when Yujin held her head in both her hands.

"Xiaoting, I trust you with my life."

"Okay...?"

"I need you to be as sad as possible. No matter what you see, do not look at me."

"Why?"

"Because you laugh at my face, dummy! I'm putting my image on the line so the least you could do is to not laugh, got it?"

Xiaoting's eyes were twinkling in amusement as she nodded her head in agreement. Yujin finally let go of her head and she found herself looking at... an aunt cosplaying avatar?

"It's not that bad." Xiaoting discovered.

"Well, it's difficult for me. Now, go get us some fish buns."

"Okay."

Yujin stayed a few feet away from the stall. She was looking at Xiaoting's back to stop her eyes from straying away. Her ears perked up when they started talking.

"Aigoo, what a pair of pretty friends. Will you come and try this auntie's fish buns?"

"Ahjumma, I'll take two."

"Okay.~"

The awkward silence was palpitating and it made everything funny for some reason. Xiaoting couldn't take it anymore so she opened her mouth to talk while waiting for their order.

"... Ahjumma, you look really familiar."

"Ah, yes. I hear that a lot lately. But no, I'm not the avatar's grandmother."

Yujin bit her fists to stop herself from smiling.

"Oh, yes, I though that at first but there's someone else. I just can't seem to put my finger on it."

"Maybe it's that animation my grandkids are watching. What was that again- Ah, yes! That blue genius guy... Megamind, him, yes!"

Yujin quickly tilted her head up. She looked like she was praying to the skies with how she was biting her fists while looking up. The staffs were laughing hysterically at the scene. Xiaoting didn't notice the chaos that was happening behind her as she was trying her best to remember who the lady looked-like.

Just when the lady handed her the paper bag of fish buns, she said in a surprised tone, "You're like Mr. Yondu's wife!" Xiaoting was glad she remembered it and turned around.

There was a pin drop of silence until Yujin broke it with her laugh. She couldn't stop laughing for a good few minutes.

And just like that, they had to go back to the starting line again. The route was only a 10-minute walk, but due to the stops they had to do and the fact they went back twice, 40 minutes already passed.

The duo were finally able to see the convenience store. However, both of them abruptly turned their head towards the sky. Waiting for them by the door was a grinning Hiyyih. She was waving excitedly at them.

"Yujin eonnie! Xiaoting eonnie!" Despite her calling their names, they couldn't bear looking at her directly because they knew that they would break out laughing.

Out of all the people we know, why does it have to be Hiyyih? Yujin thought internally. She knew that Hiyyih was hilarious in all the craziest sense. Xiaoting, someone who doesn't laugh often, would never fail to break into a smile whenever Hiyyih is around. We're both in trouble.

What's more, Hiyyih was wearing a get-up. The model was wearing a onesie. There was nothing wrong with it, but they knew that Hiyyih's words would be enough to make them laugh.

"Take my hand." Yujin said while holding out her hand towards Xiaoting.

Although confused, Xiaoting didn't hesitate holding it.

"Whenever you feel like laughing, grab my hand as hard as you can so that we'll focus more on the pain factor rather than laughing. Got it?" Yujin said in full determination.

Xiaoting was skeptical that it would work but she didn't disagree. They cautiously approached Hiyyih who was pouting for being ignored.

"Why didn't you answer back?~" She whined. "I was just going to say hi."

"I'll ask next time why you're here but for now, just tell us what we need to buy." Yujin replied, poker-faced.

"You're no fun, eonnie. How about you, Ting eonnie? Won't you stay and have a little talk with me?"

Xiaoting turned her head to the side and didn't even bother replying. As much as she was fond of the girl, she wanted to win the mission for Yujin.

"... Hmph! Fine." Hiyyih pouted and gave them a piece of paper.

Yujin read the items listed and doubtfully looked at the smiling model. "This is it?" She received a nod in reply.

"Then we're going inside now?" Yujin said unsure while looking at Hiyyih. Don't tell me she really came here just to hand as this paper-

"Okay! Thank you for coming!~" Suddenly she removed the hood of the onesie and gave a ninety degree bow.

The duo were surprised at the sudden attack that they weren't able to stop the snort that escaped the both of them. Yujin fell on her knees laughing while Xiaoting was clutching her stomach.

Without being able to step inside the convenience store, the XiaoJin couple lost the mission. They were disappointed but they kept laughing while walking back to the restaurant. They were even able to talk for a while with Hiyyih who was around the area because she had a shoot. Sadly, she couldn't stay so they said goodbye shortly.

When they got back to the restaurant, the other two pairings were curious about the mission. They kept asking what happened but simply laughed everytime they remember it.

The next duo to take on the challenge was EunBo. It was only around 15 minutes after they left that they returned once again. The two pairs who stayed were shocked, especially Yujin and Xiaoting who thought that the challenge was almost impossible without smiling. However, Eunseo and Bona returned quickly not because they were able to finish the mission immediately, but instead it was because Eunseo couldn't stop laughing whenever she sees the middle schooler with long nose hairs. Bona kept pinching the still laughing Eunseo because they couldn't even get pass the first stop.

Next, the WinRina couple departed. More than one hour has passed when they finally returned. The others thought that they were able to successfully finish the mission, however they also didn't. The two had a full-proof plan which was whenever they felt like laughing, they would slap each other's shoulders. It seems like it worked because the two would suddenly get mad at each other for slapping too hard. Unfortunately, when they arrived by the doors of the convenience store, two of their mutual friends surprised them- Giselle and Ningning. They lost all their three chances whenever they arrive there because the two surprise guests knew how to make the two laugh.

"Before we proceed, we will let everyone rest for now. We will meet again later at a different site to have dinner and discuss your punishment." Said the director.

Yujin raised her hand. "Before we go, can I ask what was actually waiting for us in the convenience store?"

"Nothing-"

Before the director could finish his statement, the young and energetic assistant producer answered on his behalf. "The director was the cashier and he was even wearing a tutu!"

The three pairs laughed and felt disappointed they couldn't see it, while the director looked gloomy as he felt his dignity shatter at the mere thought of what he was wearing earlier. He sacrificed his image for the sake of variety only to be left alone in the convenience store for almost three hours...

They were currently at an open seaside restaurant. There was a small campfire in the middle while the guests were sat in one line alongside their partners. From left to right, their arrangement was EunBo, XiaoJin, then WinRina.

"Since none of you finished the mission, your punishment will be to pay for tonight's dinner along with the staffs'." The staff behind the cameras cheered while the three couples groaned.

"Why is the punishment always about paying for the meals? Does WakeUp not have enough budget?" Yujin complained.

This made the staff laugh, the director smiled but his heart broke inside because the budget he was given was truly miniscule. He could only ask for the forgiveness of the guests internally.

"Aside from that, the winning team was supposed to have the benefit of having the losing team perform something for them. Unfortunately, since all of you lost, everyone will have to showcase their talents."

This earned another round of groans from the pairs.

"You can do this individually or by pair as long as you show something. We'll decide the order by playing rock, paper and scissors."

The representative of each pair came out: Karina, Bona and Xiaoting. The three left behind laughed because they actually sent out their gaming blackholes.

"Yah, you're looking down on us too much. It's just that we have specific games that we're good at. Right, girls?" Bona said haughtily.

"I'm good at mobile games."

"... Running."

It was finally the moment of truth.

"Roch, paper, scissors, shoot!"

Xiaoting sent out a paper and the other two showed a rock. Xiaoting was quick to smile in triumph and looked at Yujin who was cheering for her. The two continued the game and Karina won. That means the first to perform would be EunBo, followed by WinRina and lastly, XiaoJin.

"Do you want us to perform together?" Asked Yujin.

"Sure. What should we do?"

Yujin thought about it for awhile. "We could act! You can be like a superstar model who has a cold demeanor while I'm an obsessed fan trying to win you over."

"No." Xiaoting quickly rejected the idea, cringing at the memory of her acting like a domineering president yesterday.

"Hmph. Fine. Do you have any hobby? Aside from reading business reports and news." Yujin laughed.

"... I can dance."

"What!? Since when?" Yujin asked, shocked at the new information. Throughout the months that they've been talking to each other, she never heard of the other talking about dancing.

"When I was a kid, I loved dancing. My grandparents supported me by letting me join dance sports."

"Were you good?" Yunin probed.

"I guess I was. I won a few awards, but I stopped when work got busier. Although... I do take some breather to just drown myself in music from time to time."

"Wow. You're the best!" Yujin showed her two thumbs up.

Xiaoting shook her head while smiling. "No, you're the best in my eyes."

Yujin felt shy and moved her eyes away. "Anyway, what should we do?"

"Should I dance for you?"

Yujin perked up at the question. "Really? Really, Ting? You'd do that?"

The businesswoman chuckled at the obvious eagerness the other was showing. "Yes."

"But we wouldn't be able to perform together."

Xiaoting just shrugged. "It's okay. I think I'm more excited now on how you think of my dancing."

"I think you'll be amazing! Oh my gosh, I'm so excited! Wait, should we tell the staff what song to play? It might be better or they'll probably play something hiphop or EDM." The singer worried.

"It's okay. Believe me or not, whenever I have those moments that I just want to drown myself with music, my playlist would consist of the current trends."

"So you dance to songs like apologize by Timbaland?"

"... Yes."

"Oh wow, I can't imagine it but I guess you'd be great at it!"

When the director finally called the attention of everyone, the noise died down.

The WinRina couple performed individually but they both showed their amazing flexibility. The viewers watching them felt like their bones were being painfully twisted but the two doing it seemed like they just found everyone's reaction funny.

Next up was EunBo. They performed a skit together which made the whole area erupt in laughter. Their adlibs were perfect and they were amazingly in sync with each other as if they had a script written for them.

Finally, it was XiaoJin's turn. They will perform separately as Yujin decided to sing Rumble Fish's Day With Good Feeling. This wowed everyone as the song perfectly displayed the singer's voice range.

Finally, it was Xiaoting's turn. Everyone was excited because they didn't think that the serious CEO could dance, and even show it on national TV. They didn't know the reason, but Xiaoting herself knew that she just wanted to impress a certain bunny idol.

Xiaoting removed the casual blazer she was wearing which earned 'oohs' from the audience. This made her smile because she was proud of her biceps. She was only wearing a tube top underneath so it was prominent when she removed her blazer.

"You can play anything, director."

The sound director nervously looked at the PD who just shrugged and signalled him to play one of the most recent songs.

"Purr~ purr~ I make 'em purr purr."

The music played and everyone was shocked at the transformation of the young billionaire. Yujin was especially wide-eyed while her mouth was gaping at the scene in front of her. She didn't know that the Shen Xiaoting she knew could move like... that.

Shen Xiaoting, you're unreal. This thought kept ringing in Yujin's mind.

With sharp and strong movements, Xiaoting captivated everyone with her dance. She was able to hit every beat and dance to the rythym of the music. What was more amazing was her facial expressions, it was as if she embodied the subject of the song.

Once the music stopped, everyone was still at a loss. Yujin suddenly stood up and hugged the panting Xiaoting. "You were so amazing!" Like a domino effect, everyone woke up and praised Xiaoting. The woman suddenly felt shy and bowed in thanks to everyone.

After the exciting and fun performances, they enjoyed the rest of the night eating and talking to each other.
