At the ruoshi river bank, when feng jiu and Zhong lin appeared no one was present. The area was completely empty as far as Zhong lin could see. It seemed like they were the first ones to arrive. He turned his head sideways to ask feng jiu for further commands but found no one beside him. looking all around him, he couldn't find her. When he was starting to get anxious about her absence, a voice called out in his head, "I am still here, Zhong lin. Stop worrying."

Hearing feng jiu's voice calmed him down a little. Now, with a much calmer mind, he analyzed the situation and said, "you have placed an invisibility spell on yourself, haven't you?"

"and you too, zhong lin. Even though it seems like this place is empty that might not be true. We cannot take unnecessary risks and be discovered before the right moment. So, I have placed both of us under invisibility spells." Feng jiu answered in zhong lin's mind.

"I understand. What do you need me to do next, your majesty?" he asked referring to the next set of commands he was yet to receive from her.

"create an undetectable, invisibility layer just below the ruoshi river's water surface. Make sure that the spell encompasses the entire river. We are going to have a lot of people to hide." She commanded.

Heeding to his orders, Zhong lin turned towards the flowing river and set to work. It took him quite a while to complete his task and create an indistinct layer of invisibility right under the streaming water of ruoshi. After he was done with his task, he turned back towards the river bank and saw, now visible, feng jiu sitting in the lotus position.

As he took in the view ahead of him, he noticed the difference in the very air around him. it felt like a totally new atmosphere. Zhong lin scrutinized his environment very carefully before coming to the conclusion that feng jiu had created a completely new force field at the river bank. He waited silently until she was done with her task. the moment she opened her eyes and stood up, he asked, "if I may ask, your majesty, what is the need for this force field you have created?"

Feng jiu made to answer his question but was interrupted by the arrival of the celestials. First appeared ye hua and bai qian, after that came si ming and the other high immortals and simultaneously the celestial army started appearing.

Bai qian and ye hua swiftly moved towards feng jiu the minute they arrived. But before anyone could greet or bow to the other party, bai qian asked feng jiu, "why in the heavens, have you created this complex force field here? Are we not going to war with the demons anymore?"

Feng jiu smiled on hearing the same question from her aunt, before she replied, "it's good to see you too, dear aunt. And I was going to answer that very same question of Zhong lin's when you arrived. But now that you and uncle ye hua are here. I think it would be more appropriate if uncle ye hua were to explain the necessity of this shield. "

She faced ye hua with an expectant look. He gave a short nod of his head and explained, "we already know that the demon army has congregated itself near this very bank. So, it is imperative that we maintain caution and do not reveal our presence to them until required. What you see is simply a precaution that feng jiu had taken." Turning to feng jiu he asked, "although, I do not understand why did you create a whole new force field for this. secrecy could have been maintained with the use of a simple invisibility spell, as well. Understanding his confusion, feng jiu swiped her hand and revealed the walls of her force field. These walls were formed from an intricate design of air and light. It seemed like they were surrounded by a glowing vaccum. In further explanation, she said, "while what you said is correct that is only a part of it. with so many people coming in right now, it would have been difficult to cover everyone under one invisibility spell. I created this force field not just to keep all the immortals hidden from the view of demons but also to allow an easy gathering for everyone. This way any immortal appearing anywhere on these banks would be transported straight inside this force field. Not only would it facilitate the ease of access but would also reduce the chances of anyone being apprehended midway. At the same time, I have a plan that requires everyone to be assembled at this particular point."

Ye hua realized the meaning behind her actions and gave a short nod. He knew that with dijun indisposed, feng jiu was the highest in rank and power at the moment. Her position as the queen of the living didn't only gave her unfathomable power but also the responsibility of seeing to the security of the realms. If not for that fact, ye hua had first hand witnessed the wide expanse of power and acumen, feng jiu had gathered under the tutelage of war god mo yuan. He respected and deferred to feng jiu's decisions in matters like these as much as he did for dong hua dijun. so, without any delay he asked for the next course of action, "what is the next part of your plan?"

Before she could address ye hua, her father and uncles arrived. Walking towards her, bai zhen said, "you just had to make us walk, didn't you?"

With a small chuckle, she said, "now now uncle, it wouldn't be much fun otherwise, would it?"

Feng jiu scanned through the assembled celestial army while bai zhen grumbled beside her. After a thorough review of the present celestials, she directed her question to ye hua, "have your generals completed their tasks?"

"only few of them have returned but we are still waiting on the others. I expect their arrival shortly, " Ye hua answered.

"good. While we cannot proceed to the next part of the plan until every general has arrived after securing the provinces assigned to him, I will explain your parts to you till then." Feng jiu said referring to all the immortals gathered around her.

"the flowers I asked you to give to your generals will ensure a temporary barrier for the people of that land. After all your generals have arrived, I will seal those barriers. while this will guarantee the safety of the people, it will result in a mayhem for the demons. With no specific targets, they can run and hide anywhere around the realms lying in wait for better time to attack. we can't let them scatter anymore than they already are. It is crucial that we bring them all here. The fight should come to us and not the other way around. as a solution for this, I have a plan. Although it will be a hundred percent effective, it poses some threat to everyone present here. I am counting on you all to protect the celestial army before the actual war arrives." Feng jiu said making eye contact with her father, uncles and aunt.

Concerned, bai yi questioned, "what are you going to do, xaio jiu?"

"worry not, father. I will be completely safe. I just plan on luring the demons here with a little scent that's it."

On comprehending her words, bai yi fervently shook his head in disagreement saying, "no, absolutely not. You cannot use your scent for that. I prohibit you from doing that."

While father daughter duo were arguing about the supposed scent, ye hua was confused. Unaware of what feng jiu's idea meant, he interrupted, "what does she mean by scent?"

Exasperated at his daughter bai yi replied in answer to ye hua's question, "the nine tailed foxes are extremely sensuous creatures. Each of us are born with the inherent power of sexual lure. This means that every nine tail fox has a fragrance specific to them that can attract any mortal or immortal, demon or god, in an absolute mad state of lust. Under influence of this scent, our prey loses all cognitive ability and is driven by the sole feeling of lust towards the nine tailed fox. since, only a few of us able to harness this aspect of our being, not many people know about it. I don't know how my daughter would even tap into this ancient magic but if she were to do this, all the demons would not only attack her with a primal hunger but everyone around the realms would be driven mad with lust for her."

Feng jiu placed a gentle hand on her father's arm as she softly spoke, "father, don't you think it will take an ancient spirit to tap into such an ancient magic form?"

The implication behind her words were apparent to everyone. Without saying it in a direct and impertinent manner, feng jiu had just reminded her concerned father about her true form and origin. Her words clearly outlined the fact that she was the primordial spirit higher than others. She was the source of the living and because of that her magic stood on a scale that was beyond their inference.

A little disgruntled at her reminder, bai yi said, "how will you do it, xaio jiu without putting every person in the realms under the direct line of attack of your scent?"

Addressing the concerns of her father, she explicated, "dear father, I know how to tap and control the extent of that fragrance. The aim is not the entire universe here. I will direct the scent only towards the demons. No one other than the demons would be able to detect it. the only people that will be susceptible to the effect of that scent would be the ones present near me. that puts the focus on every celestial present here. This was what I was referring to earlier when I said I am counting on your help. I have already worked out the way to safeguard the celestials. I just need you to work with me here, father."

"but what about your safety, xaio jiu?" the question came from bai zhen this time.

"I can promise you that the demons won't be able to get within a hundred meters of me. I will create the same barrier around myself that I have placed around qing qui and the sky kingdom. no one can get through it and you all know that. So, will you help me?" she asked with a solemn face.

Her father and uncles shared a decisive glance before her father declared, "all right, what do you need us to do?"

With a victorious smile on her face, she began.

"father, uncles, only you will be impervious to my scent and as such you will need to put the celestials under the same effect. To do this, all of you would have to envelope the celestials inside your aura. Under the effect of your male, nine tailed fox aura, they won't be able to detect any trace of my stench." So, to prevent that from happening, all the immortals would need to hide in the only spot available here, the ruoshi river."

"Zhong lin has already created an invisibility layer under the river's water surface which will be conducive in hiding everyone. At the same time, hiding under water for an extended period of time is not possible for most of the fairies present. Both of you will need to create a single air bubble around all the immortals and submerge yourselves under the river's surface. It will also make it easy for father and uncles to incorporate the celestials into their aura. After all the demons have gathered here, I will send a signal to Zhong lin and you can come out of the river for the war. "

Few minutes later, the red beam of power faded away and feng jiu disentangled her hands back to her sides. stepping forwards, she commanded, "the barriers are locked. Everyone inside the water now."

Heeding to her command, ye hua and bai qian immediately formed an enormous air bubble around the million strong celestial army, the generals, high immortals, zhonglin and the bais. Feng jiu saw her father and uncles' spreading aura as ye hua lifted the air bubble off the ground and submerged it into the river.

Feng jiu ensured everyone was safely inside the river before she dissolved the force field from earlier. She said to herself, 'let's bring the boys to the yard, " and rose up in the air. She created the same red protective shield around her as she had stated before. Fully inside the protection of the barrier, she materialized her nine red fox tails behind her. Closing her eyes, she found the center of her primordial spirit and delved in its depth. There she found the core of her nine tailed fox form. toiling through it, she let out her scent.

Exactly as planned, demons came rushing in at the first sniff of her stench. What no one realized was feng jiu's scent was more potent than any other nine tailed foxes had ever been. The task that should have taken hours was completed in mere minutes. The high potency of her scent had dragged in even the strongest of the demons. But in the demons present there was a little alteration.

Instead of aiming her scent for all the demons, feng jiu had done a little modification. She had adjusted the effect to only those demons that were attacking the immortals or were about to attack the immortals. her stench had had no effect on the demons that wished for peace and meant no harm to others.

Even with that variation in her spell, the demons had turned up in millions. The entire ruoshi shore was crawling with demons. At the beginning, driven mad with lust these demons had tried to attack her but after a handful of them had been swallowed up by her shield, they had resorted to growling at her from afar.

When the last of the demons had turned up, she entered Zhong lin's mind and ordered, "come out, now."

At the same time, she dissolved her stench and materialized her Kunlun sword. Before removing the barrier around her, she sent the Kunlun sword spinning up in the air and towards the demons present. As the sword spun like a disc, it made a wide round through the still hazy demons, killing many in its tracks.

While the demons were still recovering out of their lust filled haze, the sword returned back to feng jiu's hand and the celestial army emerged from the river, launching an all around attack. the high immortals and generals spread out encircling the demons and trapping them on the shores of the ruoshi river. Meanwhile the army and the high gods attacked from within.

As the demons came to full consciousness, the war had effectively begun.
