With a clear plan of attack in her mind, she began laying down the initial steps to it.

She materialized her tao zhu sword but put it under an invisibility spell. Pulling it up to her face, she sent it hurtling out towards the infamous demon tearing towards her. The sword caught hei an in the shoulder and pulled him back by many miles. While he was getting thrown back by her tao zhu, she pulled up another shield in place of the external barrier and sealed it. Now, the demons were effectively trapped between her two red walls that had very little space between them. Some of the larger demons had been swallowed by the shields the moment her two walls went up making them effectively stronger. Looking down at the trapped demons, she laughed out in cold dry humor and called out in an amused yet hard voice, "try escaping now."

With the demonic army handled, for now, she called back her sword. As it appeared back in her hands, she didn't lift the invisibility spell from it and hid it in her sleeve, at ready. With the outer barrier behind her, she was facing hei an, a few miles ahead of her, roaring in pain. She let out a dry laugh again, calling out to him, "aww, is the little baby crying? Did my itty-bitty blade hurt you?"

Roaring in anger this time, he shouted, "you dare laugh at me? Don't you know who I am? "

"Are you not a little baby crying at a small scratch?" She taunted him.

"wait, you insolent child, I'll show you pain." He roared back and barrelled towards her.

As he came running towards her, she stood exactly where she was with her hands behind her and a loud smirk on her face. She was taunting him with her humor. She stood perfectly still waiting for him and at the very last moment before he reached her, she disappeared. He pulled himself to a stop and looked around to find her when he heard that same taunting laugh behind him. He turned to find her several miles behind him, exactly opposite to the place she had stood in a few minutes ago.

"is the little baby boy hurt again? Little baby boys should not try to run; they tend to fall too easily. Then they cry and make a fuss about it," she shook her head in exasperation, "they never learn, even when they are all grown up. Men."

"you insolent child, who are you calling a baby. I am a man, all man"

"Ohh, are you? I do not believe it." She shrugged her shoulders.

"you will know when I tear you up piece by piece." With that he barrelled towards her again at full speed.

Again, she stood perfectly still smirking at him and the very last moment before he reached her, she disappeared. She stood several miles behind him, laughing as he stopped himself from tripping.

"oh oh, don't fall down." She called out to him.

As he turned back towards her, with pure rage on his face, she continued, "and you said you were all man. Huh so funny. You just proved my point that you are a silly little baby boy."

"I will show you what I am. Just you wait till the moment I catch you" with that said he barrelled towards her again.

Again, Feng jiu waited till the last moment before disappearing behind him.

"and what will you do when you catch me?"

"I will tear you to pieces." He said and took off in her direction.

Again, she disappeared behind him. Laughing and taunting him, she kept doing this for hours.

"you know, I agree with you. You are not a little baby boy. You are just plain stupid. "she laughed out behind him as he caught himself from tripping down again.

He roared back, "you dare call me stupid, you insolent child."

"it's not daring if it is true. You are pretty stupid."

With a roar, he ran towards her again. But he had been running behind her at full speed for hours now, and his body was spent. This time, he caught himself from falling down, midway. He held his knees as he tried to catch his breath. Seeing that, Feng jiu gave out a full laugh this time.

As she laughed at him, hei an suddenly realized that she was trying to tire him out so he can't attack her and decided to outsmart her this time.

Watching him catch his breath, Feng jiu, kept snickering. And as she had expected, he turned himself invisible. Well, he is a little late to the party but at least he caught on, she thought to herself, putting the next phase of her plan in motion.

Taking a step back, she let out a full-blown laugh and kept laughing for a few minutes. Quieting down her laughter, she started moving in a circle around the point he had disappeared. She held her hands together behind her and started walking in a circular path.

"you think, you are so smart. Yet you keep proving me right again and again. And yourself stupid again and again. But I think this is not your problem alone, men tend to overestimate themselves a lot, you know. I digress. Returning back to the point of your stupidity, do you really think that if you become invisible, you can attack me? "

She did a fake shiver and said in a monotonous voice, "oooh, I am so scared of you. "

Laughing she continued, "tell me honestly, what idiotic reason, did your stupid mind come up with? No no, wait let me guess, I have never thought stupidly before, you know."

"hmmm.... Did you think I am scared and running away from you? No, it is idiotic but wouldn't satisfy your ego. Or did you think I am trying to buy time? No, indeed a stupid idea but again it won't satisfy that overinflated male ego of yours. Let me try again. Oh, I got it. The perfect level of stupid and ego inflator. You thought I am trying to tire you out, didn't you?" She gave herself a pat on the back for that.

"that is exactly what you thought, I know. Don't even try to deny it. I knew I could trust that stupid bullhead of yours. I thank you for your cooperation." She joined her hands in front of her while thanking him.

"well, since your last two attempts to attack me invisibly have failed. Aren't you curious to know, what I actually did? I know you must be. All you have to is show yourself again and you'll know. It is that simple. The moment you show yourself, you will see exactly what happened. You already know that you can't attack me anyhow. All your attempts have failed and if you are afraid, I will attack you somehow if you show yourself, then you don't even classify as stupid, you will be just plain naïve. So, let's see which one are you?"

What Feng jiu has done was nothing short of a masterpiece. When she had made hei an start chasing after her, she had placed little balls of fire from her nine-tail fox spirit at every point she had stood on. As she kept moving strategically from one point to another, she had placed balls of her spirit fire in the shape of a sphere all around him. Slowly, the balls had tied together and effectively trapped him inside. All that was left then was to activate these fireballs which she had done when he turned invisible. After activation, the connected fireballs had started moving towards each other. As they bound together, the sphere they formed also started shrinking inwards with hei an trapped inside. Since Feng jiu had also put an invisibility spell on the fireballs not just to hide them but also to contain their fire. She knew her spell would lift as an after effect from him lifting his invisibility magic. So, all she had to do was wait for him to show up now.

Again, hei an did not disappoint. The moment he became visible, her spell also lifted, and he looked around at the blazing ball of fire he was standing inside. Scared, he hastily looked around trying to find a way out. He shouted at Feng jiu outside, "what have you done"

"well, tell me, how do you like it? It's nice isn't it? Let me tell you a secret, okay. Before I came here, a little birdie told me your little secret. The birdie said that you are afraid of spirit fire. So I thought why not try it out, you know, just to be sure. Nice handiwork, don't you think? I am quite proud of myself." She said loudly in a mocking voice while she pretended like she was telling a secret.

As planned, the fire shrank around him completely trapping him. But this time instead of a cry of pain from him, she heard laughter.

"you might have bound me, child but your little fire does not burn me. You do not possess the power to burn my core. As for this little trap of yours, I will get out of it soon enough, and then this time even that wicked little mind of yours won't be able to save you." He roared again but with amusement, this time.

Hearing his words, she scanned the fire that surrounded him, and true enough, the fire was causing no damage to his core. Although she knew, he would not be able to escape the spirit fire, she extended her aura to engulf the fireball. Her aura channeled the fire with all the fuel it needed to keep burning strong. But she decided not to leave anything to chance and went deep inside her spirit in search of more fuel for the fire.
