Gotham. The Ugliest City in the World

I walked out of the station and smelled the stink of the city. I hate this city already. I don't understand how people can live here. The city was cloudy, musty you could feel the antipathetic energy circling.
"Home sweet home." Grayson mumbled.
We had to take the train because they were too slow. Literally.
"If I got here before you two I could of--"
"Done Nothing." Grayson said. "I have the connections, you, you have superspeed. You don't know anyone in Gotham, or how this City works. It's not you pretty little town where it's sunny everyday."
I almost punched Grayson. I was still skeptical about him, I didn't trust him, but I saw he put his faith in me to protect The Gem Cities.
"We'll find her, Barry. Don't worry." He said, "Come on. I have a person we need to go meet." The skies were dark, it was like night in the day, I saw the streets, everyone knew I was a visitor, they stared at me like I was prey. Everyone at least 2 thirds of the people I saw carried fire arms.
"Keep your eyes low." Grayson said.
"What so you think we"ll get beat up?" Cisco laughed
"It's Gotham. They'll hurt you for anything and everything." I said. The stench was everywhere, it like the combination of vomit and liquor. "I never been here before, but I've heard stories. Especially from Joe. One of his partners got killed here, when he was living here, in his twenties."
We walked for at least an hour, then I saw a great big Clock Tower. "Inside." He opened the door. There were stairs that led up to a main floor. "Go upstairs."
Grayson went upstairs last but squeezed to go into the front. "You here?"
The whole place was filled with wires, and computer screens. He walked into the other room. "Wait here." He walked into the the other room. Cisco and I waited in the living room, Cisco sat, on a leather chair, he huffed out a tired sigh, while massaging his foot.
We waited a while until we heard yelling.
"You owe me!"
"No I don't! I told we're done!" It was a young woman voice.
"A woman's life is in jeopardy!"
"Don't you say that to me."
I ran into the room. "What is going on in here!" I ran in the middle.
It was a woman sitting in a wheelchair. She had long red hair pale skin almost albino. She had a half of a bow staff in her left hand.
Her face cleared once she saw me from hate to nice calm face. She dropped the staff, "Oh it's nice to finally meet you! Bartholomew Allen." She took out her hand.
No ones called me that since my mother. "It's Barry."
I shook her hand
"I'm Barbara Gordon. Nice to meet you!"
"How do you know me?" I asked curiously
"I know a lot of people. Like I know you're the Flash."
My heart stopped, how could she know that?
"Don't worry I can keep a secret. I know Wells escaped your metahuman prison."
"How do you know all this?" I asked.
"Let's just say I'm like an Oracle." She smiled.
"He was here, in Gotham, and he escaped with a friend." She pulled up a picture of a bald man with glasses. It was the same guy Wally described.
"Hugo Strange, an Arkham patient, he thought he was a psychologist helping people--" Barbara said "---but in reality he was hurting them, turning them into Arkham patients." Grayson said interrupting her.
"Wait so your thinking that they are working together?" I asked looking at the screen.
"I'm not thinking it. I know it. Wells needs a person smart as him and capable to change a person."
"Because he trust people like himself."
"Exactly. Last time my computer pick him up was Central City."
My heart pounded, as if i was losing my sight slowly. I walked back and forth, "They never left Central City." If I know Wells enough and I know where they are.
