Evelyn had been looking forward to Valentine's day all month. But now she felt like she didn't even have a date anymore. She walked down the hall sadly until she bumped into someone. She looked up to see Conner smiling at her with a big group of people behind him.

"Are you talking to me now?" she asked kinda angrily.

"I'm sorry i've been ghosting you. I just wanted you to enjoy this surprise I've been planning for you." He turned behind him to the people holding balloons, flowers, and chocolates. "And I wrote you a song." he smiled. "Take a seat."

Suddenly a boy on the football team came running behind Evelyn with a chair. She smiled uncontrollably and sat down. Conner cleared his throat.

"Happy Valentine's Day baby gorl." Conner smiled and winked at Evelyn.

"Baby baby baby ohhhhh" he started singing terribly off key. Evelyn giggled. "Like baby baby baby ohhhhhhhhh!" he finished dramatically. He was out out of breath. Ainsley watched the scene from her locker, feeling an emotion she didn't know. She was jealous. Did she have feelings for her best friend?

After lunch, Evelyn headed to Biology class. None of her friends were in it with her, just Donovan. Thanks to their teacher Mrs. Unthank, they were forced to sit next to eachother. They never really talked until Donovan whispered something to her.

"Evelyn. I know what you did." he grinned evilly. She glared at him stupidly.

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"I know what you did to Kaden and Braden. I saw it happen." He said feeling proud of himself. She was sweating nervously and just stayed silent, so he continued. "Kaden...I couldn't save. But that's probably a good thing. So I healed Braden with my platooey power spell. He doesn't remember anything."

Evelyn didn't talk to Donovan the rest of class, but she knew he wouldn't tell her secret.

Evelyn walked to next period, physics. She had it with Kerrigan🥵, the girl that was pregnant but no one knew who the father was, and sadly Braden. When everyone was inside sitting in the classroom Braden walked in followed by the school band. Evelyn was confused when he walked over to Kerrigan's desk.

He had something in his hand that Evelyn couldn't make out. He directed the band to start playing georgeonlyfans, Kerrigans favorite song. He did his lil dancy dance and got on one knee in front of her desk. Evelyn saw he was holding a red crush gram and he held it in front of her smiling face.

"Shawty bae, there's something i've been meaning to ask you..." he took a deep breath. "Will you go to the dance with me?" Kerrigan immediately smiled widely and jumped off of her desk into his arms.

"Of course I'll go with u baby daddy!" All you could hear in the classroom was a mix of shocked noises and "awwws" from the girls and the gays.
