(at the park)

we see that jacob & mrs. mayberry in a cafe at the park where mayberry is sitting down while jacob is getting his order

Cashier (female): here you go, sir. One hot cinnabon, two lattes and an apple fritter.

she said cheerfully as jacob took his order

Jacob: thanks ma'am, have a nice day.

he said as he walked over to the table where matilda mayberry is sitting at as he gave her one of the lattes when jacob sat down. but when matilda took a sip out of the latte, her eyes widened in joy and jacob smirked

Jacob; so, what do you think?

he asked

Matilda Mayberry: it's very good.

she said with a smile

Jacob: (chuckles) well, i'm glad that you like it since this place is built for everyone to hang out or to rest up after taking a walk around here.

he said as mayberry giggled

Jacob: also, i'd like to know more about you.

he said, making matilda suprised to hear him say that since no one asked her about her past before, so she started to explain her childhood to jacob. about her parents being nice until they had a fight and she and her mom left her dad, her mom being killed after coming home from school one day, and being forced to move back in with her asshole dad until she got a job as a teacher

Jacob: woah, i'm really sorry, but atleast you got a job as a teacher.

he said with a smile and sees mayberry frown

matilda mayberry: well, i used to be one, but that was before....nevermind.

she said as jacob raised an eyebrow

Jacob: what? you can tell me.

he said as mayberry sighed

Matilda Mayberry: after i met a guy named Jarold, he was very nice and sweet, then we got married. But then it went down the drain.

Jacob: what do you mean by that?

he asked as he's drinking his latte

Matilda Mayberry: because one day, i suddenly remembered that it was Jarold's birthday, one of my students suggested that i video call him to do a birthday suprise and then.....i caught him having sex with another demoness.

Jacob: (spits out his latte in shock) WHAT?!

he yelled in shock & anger

Matilda Mayberry: yes, i was so pissed that i had murderous intent on killing both of them, but....

Jacob: did you?

Matilda Mayberry: well i wanted to, but i didn't. i yelled at jarold in complete anger that i told him that we're through. since then i lost my job and was very upset until i saw you and that girl named zuzu on the news months ago. and to be honest, i thought humans were a myth until that day.

she said, making jacob cool down and smile at her, then thought of something

Jacob: wait, do you have a place to live?

he asked as matilda sighed

Matilda mayberry: no, i don't. why do you ask?

she asked to the human hero

Jacob: well my house is pretty big enough to hold in as many people to live in, even you if you'd like to live with us and maybe get a new job as a teacher here.

he said

Matilda Mayberry: really?

she asked in hope and jacob nodded

Matilda Mayberry: but what about your family?

Jacob: my mom won't mind, even my sisters won't mind at all, but as for my dad...he's dead. he died when me and my sisters were young, almost 10 years ago. he was on a plane that got hi-jacked and he managed to save most of the passengers, but he was among the ones that died.

he said, making matilda feel sorry for jacob

Matilda Mayberry; i am so sorry about that.

she said sympathetically

Jacob: it's ok. i'll be right back, i gotta use the bathroom.

he said as he got up from his seat and went into the rest room

(in the restroom)

we see jacob washing his hands while thinking about matilda's past and started drying his hands with paper towels and blow-drying them, or atleast we was until his phone rang and see it was zuzu calling him

Jacob: hey babe.

Zuzu: hey hotshot, how's it going at the park?

she asked

Jacob: it was going great until i met a demoness named matilda mayberry.

he said

Zuzu: really?

Jacob: yeah, she's a teacher, or atleast she used to be.

he said

Zuzu: what do you mean by that?

she asked as jacob began explaining what happened to mayberry before their world merged with earth and needless to say, zuzu felt sorry for mayberry

Zuzu: shit, i feel very bad for her.

she said as jacob nodded

Jacob: you and me both. so how are you doing right now?

he asked to his pregnant alpha

Zuzu: (groans over the phone) well, i feel fine for now, i didn't know how being pregnant would be a pain like this.

she said as jacob couldn't help but chuckle a bit

Jacob: i understand, just try to keep it under control.

he said as zuzu smiled on the other side of the phone

Zuzu: thanks jacob, i'm happy to hear that. i'll leave you to it, love you.

Jacob: you too.

he said as they both hung up and jacob walked out of the bathroom

(outside of the restroom)

we see jacob exiting the restroom and bump into someone

Jacob: sorry about that, ma'am.

???: no, no, it's fine, i should've paid more attention to my surroundings.

she said as she revealed herself to be.....Rosie, which made jacob stare at her in shock, due to her wearing clothing from the 1860's or something

Rosie: are you ok?

she asked as jacob shaked his head, regaining focus

Jacob: yeah, sorry about that, i'm ok. it's just that your clothing looks like it came from the 1860's since every women dressed like that back then.

he said, making her giggle for a little bit

Rosie: you wouldn't happen to be Jacob Mcfoley, correct?

she asked, shocking jacob

Jacob: you heard about me too?

he asked

Rosie: of course, everyone knows about you, even the overlords. you got everyone's attention after you killed valentino, vox, asmodeous & fizzarolli.

she said as jacob smirked

Jacob: yeah, they deserved it by the way.

Rosie: but you won't kill me, right?

she asked, making jacob puzzled

Jacob: what do you mean by that?

he asked

Rosie: because i'm an overlord too.

she said, shocking jacob that he's in the presence of another overlord and before he could turn into a form with his gauntlet...

Rosie: no, please don't do that, i'm not a threat. i'm not here to harm you or your people.

Jacob: why is that?

he asked as rosie sighed

Rosie: i'm not only an overlord, but i have my own emporium as well. ever since you and zuzu killed vox & valentino and king luke made those new laws, the other overlords lost their goons and without them, they can't fight in the turf wars since one of king luke's laws does say ''no turf wars''. because of that, i decided to move my emporium here since it's different in human lands and that i've been getting sick of the robberies back at my old home and i just hope that humans here like my emporium if they visit it.

she said, making jacob awestruck of hearing her explanation and her plan to move her shop in his home, then had a thought of helping her too since he's helping matilda and that his kids will be born in the future

Jacob: well, i'm sorry to hear about that, but i'd be glad to help you with your emporium.

he said as rosie couldn't help but smile at him

Rosie: thank you, Jacob.

she thanked as jacob widened his eyes, meaning he remembered a certain someone waiting for him

Jacob: oh i forgot that matilda is waiting for me.

he said, making Rosie's eyes widen

Rosie: you know her?

she asked

Jacob: i just met her earlier, why? do you know her?

he asked as Rosie nodded

Jacob: well come with me, i think she'll be glad to see you.

he said

Rosie: that would mean a lot.

she said as they both walk togethor
