Kaina is currently spending time with Eri. Izuku is out shopping for groceries and isn't going to be back for another couple of hours.
When Kaina objected saying they already have food, Izuku gave her a stern look and told her.
Izuku: I ain't giving Eri tobacco flavoured biscuits.
Thus, Izuku went shopping under heavy disguise.
Kaina brought Eri out to the open grassland to play. Her home doesn't have much of anything to do, so she thought how about letting Eri experience nature.
The grasslands spreads far and wide, with every inch of it covered with fresh green grass which rustles in the wind. Butterflies dance in the wind during the day while fireflies light up the darkness at night.
Kaina chose this place for her retirement for a reason. As a former assassin for the hero association, she has been far and wide for every kind of job, which is how she found this place.
As Eri plays in the grass field, Kaina lies on the grass as she looks up at the sky. She recalls how she met Izuku when he was still desperate and afraid.
Enter flashback
Back then Kaina was still known as Lady Nagant. She had been working long hours that day, tracking down a drug lord who sells toxic weapons used in chemical warfare.
She was in the northern part of Japan during winter season, when the snow can pile up to waist high on bad days. The blizzards were insane and the hails are even worse. Without proper clothing, you won't survive for long in the open.
Nagant didn't like the snowy weather, it limits her capabilities as a sniper. Not to mention the extra calculations she will need to do during blizzards.
As she was running through the woods, she noticed a tiny shed with a dim light in it. According to her intel, there shouldn't be anyone inhabiting this part other than the drug lord. It was such a remote area that no one in their right minds will venture there.
Nagant quietly sneak up close to the shed, as she got a better view of it. The shed was at most the size of a single bedroom apartment, with only one window.
The details that caught her attention was that there was what looks like dried blood on the window. Either that or it was ketchup.
She couldn't really see what's inside the shed due to curtains blocking her view but she was certain there was a person inside.
Nagant went up to the door as she gets ready her rifle arm. She kicks the door down as she points her rifle inside the shed.
Inside, she sees a green haired boy looking through the cupboards of the shed. He instantly looked at her as his movement stopped.
Nagant saw that his hands were covered with blood as he looked through the cupboards. While, beside him was a corpse of the drug lord she had been tracking.
She was shocked at the fact that presumably, he has killed the drug lord. He looked no older than 14 years old as his height leaves more to be desired.
Nagant: Did you do this?
Izuku: Yeah.
His voice sounds was emotionless, lacked any empathy or fear.
Nagant: How did you find this place.
Izuku: I walked.
Out of every response, Nagant did not expect that one.
Nagant: That doesn't explain how you found this shed.
Izuku: I just walked and found this shelter. But the person inside told me to get lost, so I killed him.
Nagant can clearly see he is broken. Even more broken than those trained assassin like her. She kind of pitied the boy but unless she knows his backstory, she can't really tell if he is just insane.
Nagant: Where are your parents.
Izuku: Don't know, don't care. I survive on my own.
Nagant: Where did you come from.
Izuku: Tokyo.
Nagant: Huh?
Izuku: Tokyo.
Nagant: I heard you the first time. You know where you are right?
Izuku: Somewhere in the north.
Nagant: Wait so how did you get here from Tokyo.
Izuku: I walked.
Nagant was so done with Izuku at this point.
Nagant: Kid I don't know your backstory and I don't care, all I know is that I can't leave you here alone with no food or water. You can come with me, I'll provide you shelter.
Izuku: Alright but answer one question first.
Nagant: What?
Izuku: Are you a hero?
Nagant didn't know if she should lie to get Izuku to trust her. Technically she isn't a hero, but she does work for them.
Nagant: No?
Izuku: Alright good, I'll come with you.
Nagant was expecting the opposite but she ain't complaining. After that happened, she brought Izuku back to where she lives, aka the grassland area, as she gave Izuku a place to stay.
Izuku lived with her for a couple of months, and within that time, both of them bonded with each other quite a bit. They sympathies with each other due to both their tough upbringings, while also respecting each other for their abilities.
Izuku regained some emotion during her stay with Nagant as she helped him overcome some of his mental blocks. She also showed Izuku how to live life to the fullest as they often went out and play whatever they can find.
After the few months of Izuku staying, he decided to leave Nagant and start his own life.
Nagant: Are you sure kid? It isn't going to be easy.
Izuku: If my life was easy, I wouldn't be here now.
Nagant: Haiz, alright then, just so you know, if you ever found yourself between a rock and a hard place, you are welcomed back.
Izuku: Thanks Nagant.
Nagant: No problem kid.
Thus, Izuku left Nagant as he went back to Tokyo and became the Blood Tyrant. Shortly after Izuku became the Blood Tyrant, she retired from her line of work for 2 reasons.
The first is that she has enough money to retire now, the second is that she really didn't want the hero association to send her to kill Izuku.
Izuku will occasionally visit Nagant, who is now just Kaina, when he is free. Kaina is very appreciative that Izuku still comes and visit her since she feels lonely sometimes.
During one of his visits, he brought Toga with him and introduced Toga as her girlfriend. Kaina is kind of like Izuku's mother figure so Izuku is trying to seek approval from her.
Kaina approves of Toga mostly due to her not giving 2 shits about who Izuku likes. Kaina and Toga actually has great synergy together due to both of them being very headstrong women.
Other than that, she spent the rest of her free time resting in her home, far away from civilisation. She doesn't need the hero association tracking her and bothering her more.
Flashback ends
Eri: Kaina! Look a pink butterfly!
Kaina's thoughts got interrupted by Eri who was holding a pink butterfly in her palms. Kaina stood up as she went beside Eri looking at the little creature.
Eri: So pretty!
Kaina: Kids are so pure.
Eri: Can I keep it please.
Eri used her deadliest technique, super cute puppy eyes on Kaina. Kaina is strongly affected and can't reject Eri's request.
Kaina: Alright, I will bring you a jar.
Kaina walks back to the house as she smiles inside at another companion.
Scene change to Toga
Toga signed up for the prison fight, nothing else needs to be said.
Announcer: On the right, convicted for 10 cases or murder, 3 cases of rape and 1 case of torture, it's the mighty Gorilla Fritz!
A large man known as Gorilla Fritz walk into the ring as she flexes his bicep.
Announcer: On the left, we have the newcomer, convicted for numerous murders, murders and more murders, we have Toga!
Toga jumps into the right as she cracks her knuckles. Fritz tower over Toga but she wasn't fazed, she didn't even think he was strong.
Fritz: Don't worry, I'll go easy on you little girl.
Toga: Why? You look like a mummy's boy.
The crowd burst into laughter hearing Toga's roast as Fritz grew more angry.
Fritz: I'm going to enjoy crushing you.
Toga: Good luck then muscles for brains.
Both of them step back a bit as the countdown begins.
Announcer: 3! 2! 1! Fight!
Fritz rushes Toga with his huge body, trying to grab her with his huge hands. Toga evades as she kicks Fritz square in the face, as he flinched.
He grabs Toga's leg as he threw her onto the ground. He then slams his whole body weight onto her. Toga however stopped it with her hands as she push Fritz back.
She axe kick him in the shoulder causing Fritz to fall onto the ground. Toga then triangle locked his neck, causing him to flail like a fish out of water.
After a while Fritz lost consciousness.
Announcer: And the winner is Toga!
Toga gets off stage as some people came to carry Fritz off. As she goes back to the crowd, she sees Citrus taking cookies from a person.
Toga: Did you bet also?
Citrus: Yeah so what? It's good income.
Toga: I suppose. Give me my share also.
Slime: Nicely done Toga, you did great.
The slime appeared as he congratulated Toga.
Toga: Thanks, he wasn't tough honestly. I hope the next fight will be tougher.
Citrus: Whatever, just win so I get more cookies.
Toga: Alright.
Scene change to Nezu
Nezu: Who are you sir?
Nezu got an unexpected guest in his office this day.
???: Who I am is not important, but what I know is.
The man was wearing a long robe and mask, covering all of his features. The only thing visible is his shoes.
Nezu: What is it?
???: All for One is back, and he is coming for you.
Nezu got shocked by this mysterious man's statement.
Before Nezu can ask more, the man disappeared into thin air. He tried to reconfigure his thoughts as he wonders what just happened.
Not only did he get past the security but he also vanished into thin air. Nezu looks at the spot where he disappeared and found a sticky note.
On it, it wrote "761/993/081."
Nezu has no idea what it means, and he is the smartest Chimera alive. He will need a bit of time to sort this out before telling this to Toshinori.
But first and foremost, he needs to find out who on earth was that guy.
