Feng Jiu was anxiously waiting for Dong Hua outside their room terrace. She gathered her nerves to have the most difficult conversation ever with her husband. Her hands were crinkling her dress. Dong Hua finally arrived and noticed that she was in distraught. He carefully approached her and took her hands into his. "Little fox why are so worked up?"

"Dong Hua...I need to talk to you." Feng Jiu stuttered.

"All right, let's sit first so you can calm down." He didn't let go of her hands. He could hear her erratic heartbeats. "I'm listening little fox." His stone sparkling black eyes full with love were scanning her innocent face. Feng Jiu's heartbeat picked up again, her brain neglected to fire any synapses to breathe when she gets lost on his ethereal features. He loved her cute reaction. "Jiu'er breathe with me."

"Sorry husband...I can't help it." Her cheeks flushed.

"You look so lovely when you blush." Dong Hua sweetly smiled at her.

"I missed you last night husband when you didn't come home."

"I missed you too little fox. I worked late with Ye Hua so I didn't want to disturb your sleep."

"I couldn't sleep without you next to me." Feng Jiu lowered her face. "I guess now you know why. I don't want you to think that I've been unfaithful to you husband."

"Unfaithful?"

"About the lion and..." Tears were coming down.

"Please don't cry. Why would I think that of you Jiu'er?" Dong Hua wiped her tears from her eyes.

"Because I didn't tell you who he really is. I failed to be honest with you about this. Please forgive me." Feng Jiu looked away avoiding his face.

"Look at me little fox. Were you afraid to be rejected by me again?" Feng Jiu nodded her head.

"I see. Don't be afraid of me Jiu'er. I've promised you not to push you away or treat you coldly ever again. This is difficult for you as it is for me too little fox. You're my wife and I love you too much to share you with everyone, but I understand that you have connections with others that are not easy for me to accept. But it doesn't mean that you should feel scared to let me know your needs that others can help you achieve. As your husband it is in my best interest that you are taken care of in every aspect and level."

"Dong Hua I don't wish to hurt our marriage with misunderstandings or unresolved conflicts between us. I don't want you to feel jealous either, because is not my intention to fuel those doubtful feelings in you. I respect you husband. The last thing I want to do is create a rift between us and destroy our trust in one another. I love you so much that I will do anything in my life to prove you how important you are to me Dong Hua. There is no other man that I could love. You are my one and only. Please believe me when I say it." Feng Jiu pleadingly said.

Dong Hua sweetly smiled upon hearing her words. "Jiu'er, I have no doubts about that. You have always been straightforward with me and I prefer it that way. You are my light, my center and my lifeline. I will be lost without you, my brave little fox. But I wish to know every hidden detail of your heart, especially whatever pains you. I want you to feel comfortable talking to me. Please don't be fearful about it. I earnestly love you and whatever is bothering you I feel it. I'm here for you as your husband, confidant and friend too." Dong Hua caressed her nose bridge.

"But you are my everything Dong Hua. Although we've vowed to face all obstacles together while adapting each with other in our relationship. Both of us are still learning how to appropriately maneuver our differences. Is because of that deference that I sometimes find it difficult to let you know things that I know are not easy to express. Is intimidating for me to talk with you about these types of subjects. Please try to understand my perspective too husband." Feng Jiu shyly said.

"This process of emotional communication is hard for me too. I'm still learning with you Jiu'er. But I don't want you to see me unapproachable either. I decided to share all of my life with you and in doing so I'm learning to shift my emotions in the most appropriate way to satisfy your needs without endangering others with my dominant nature. I want to give you everything that you need but I understand that you might have needs that you don't feel comfortable sharing them with me yet. In that case I'll provide you with the necessary ways for you to have them accomplished. Is part of your empathic nature. And I'm trying my best to understand that part of you. I want you to know that you also can count on me to help you in every way that you need to heal yourself, since I contributed to many of your past wounds, pushing you to a delicate emotional state and for that I'm truly sorry. Would you give me a chance to be your healing partner too?"

His eyes softened and his expression warmed up. She saw a trace of a smile on his beautifully shaped lips. "You mean it Dong Hua?"

"Anything to help you, my sweet little fox. We're partners after all. And soon a family. Let me take care of you."

Their eyes were glazed with tears, but not of sadness but of the purest form of love for one another. "I love you so much Dong Hua" Feng Jiu look at him with so much devotion and dedication.

"As I love you, my little sweet fox" Dong Hua caressed her face. "Come let's go inside and rest"

During the night Feng Jiu comfortably slept in Dong Hua arms. Her hold on him was tight, she didn't want to let go of him. Sympathetic with her need, he let her sleep late since her due date was approaching. Early in the morning, she cutely yawned waking up. Opening her eyes, she noticed that Dong Hua was still sleeping with her. Feng Jiu smiled and kissed his cheek to wake him up.

"Jiu'er, aren't you tired?" Dong Hua asked her with his raspy sleepy voice that she loves.

"I feel refreshed. Thank you for staying with me. I know how busy you are lately."

"They can manage without me for a bit longer today."

"How about if I make your favorite for breakfast? I want to collect some fresh peaches and bake you some cakes and do some peach jam. I know how much you like them."

"Hmm that sounds so delicious and mouthwatering. Are you trying to spoil me?"

Feng Jiu giggled at him. "Is it working?"

"It surely is. Let's get up; that way we can visit your father and he can examine you too. Are you sure that you feel like walking?"

"I feel fine Dong Hua don't worry. The baby is fine too, look... he's kicking." Dong Hua placed his hand on Feng Jiu's belly to feel the baby moving. "You are being playful this morning son. Are you hungry too? Don't worry your mother will feed you soon. Be good for now." Dong Hua kissed Feng Jiu's tummy and the baby calmed down. Feng Jiu giggled. "You have magical lips husband."

"Are you in need of some of my lip therapy this morning?" Dong Hua seductively asked.

Feng Jiu's face heated up "I always do husband. Your lips are my best therapy."

Dong Hua wickedly smiled at her. He bended over and carefully crawled over Feng Jiu, kissing her hard and possessive. Their tongues twisting and turning together, consuming, and savoring each other with fiery thirst. He then proceeded to kiss each of her full breasts teasing her nipples in turn, while Feng Jiu groaned and wriggled beneath him, Dong Hua didn't stop, he was tasting her breast milk. "Jiu'er, this tastes more delicious than your peach jam."

"You're so shameless Dong Hua." He pouted at her and continued sucking.

"Will you share it with me after the baby is born?"

"Seriously, you want me to breast feed you?"

"Why not? I remember that you wanted to learn how to nurse my health. This is another way too."

"No huh Dong Hua. This will be for our son."

"But I never experienced this bond before." Dong Hua said.

Then it hit Feng Jiu; she remembered his motherless childhood and felt a pang in her heart. Although she thought he was being ridiculous and barefaced, in fact it was his unique way to ask for something that he had no knowledge of. As his emotional guide, it was another way to provide him with a different type of intimacy that he was not familiar with. She fixed her robe and sat on their bed tenderly looking at him.

"You want to know how does it feel when the bond between a mother and baby strengthens during breastfeeding? My mother told me that during the act of breastfeeding, it is a great way to help decrease distress that occurs every now and then when the baby gets upset, it will help to comfort and calm the baby down. This builds a strong bond and further encourages a closeness, reduces pain and promotes healing, while showing the baby that I'm there to care for him no matter what. Our son will start to learn and recognize my unique scent. It will also increase his intelligence levels and will improve cognitive development as he ages. It's a psychological closeness and safety that only my arms will provide him. It encourages understanding, love, protection, and an emotional closeness that will help him for a lifetime." Feng Jiu explained to him.

"Indeed, is a unique and strong bond."

"Yes, it is. One that you never had." Feng Jiu stared at Dong Hua with compassion.

"That is fine little fox, don't worry about it. I'm fortunate to know that you care so much about this and that our son will benefit from it." Dong Hua's playful side abruptly disappeared. He got up and started to get ready. "Aren't you coming? I thought that you want to collect peaches today."

His tone sounded disillusioned. Feng Jiu has learned to recognize his hidden emotions by his tone of voice. She was able to tell that his mood changed suddenly, understanding that he was being shy. "Husband wait!" Feng Jiu quickly stopped him.

"What is it?" Dong Hua turned around.

"Come here please." Dong Hua sat next to her on the bed again. "Just know that I'm willing to offer you that experience if you wish to have it. Although we have made many strong connections as a couple, I know how important this is for you Dong Hua. You have told me that we don't need to be bashful of what we do in our intimacy. I want to offer you this closeness too whenever you want it."

"You don't need to Jiu'er."

"I know, but I want to do it just for your pleasure husband." Feng Jiu carefully was reading his precious black stone eyes. She could see a hint of eagerness on them.

"Jiu'er...I..." Feng Jiu placed her hand on his lips to quiet him up. "Shhh don't say anything. It has been settled. Think about it and let me know when you're ready." Feng Jiu gave him a chaste kiss on his lips, got up and proceeded to get dressed.

"My little fox is full or surprises." Dong Hua internally said while watching her getting ready.

They unhurriedly were walking enjoying their morning and each other company. On their way to the Zhe Yan peach orchard Feng Jiu began to feel strange; a big slush of water came down between her legs. It felt odd. Feng Jiu stopped and looked down surprised. "Oh no..."

"Jiu'er are you all right? What's wrong?"

"I don't know Dong Hua. I think my water broke."

Dong Hua eyes widen "Here let me carry you."

"No please, I just need to sit for a bit." Her contractions were getting stronger.

"Your contractions are still far apart. I don't think that you are ready to give birth yet."

"Fùqīn told me that during early labor, my contractions will become increasingly regular. This is the longest stage of labor for first-time mothers, it can last up hours or days. Plus, my water broke so I think is time."

"You think you are in early labor?"

"It's a possibility. AHHHH." Feng Jiu felt another strong contraction.

"Jiu'er, please talk to me." Dong Hua was worried about her. He couldn't tolerate seeing his little fox in pain.

"Dong Hua we need to go to fùqīn's house now." He scooped her up in his arms and quickly materialized at Zhe Yan's hut.

"Zhe Yan!!!" Dong Hua yelled out his name. But he wasn't home. He opened a mental channel and summoned him: "Zhe Yan we are at your house come quickly Jiu'er water broke she is in labor."

"On my way now." Zhe Yan replied.

"We didn't build a birthing room here Jiu'er, and I don't want to move you."

"Don't worry Dong Hua is fine in here too. Is fùqīn coming?"

"He's on his way." Minutes later Zhe Yan appeared.

"Darling tell me how far apart are your contractions" Zhe Yan hurriedly asked her.

"They are still far apart but are increasing. Where is mother?"

"She is with your grandmother; they are in Nine Heavens with Bai Qian, she in labor too. Dong Hua I need to examine her. Please leave us."

"No fùqīn, Dong Hua stays."

"But..."

"HE STAYS!!!!" Feng Jiu painfully yelled out. Startling Zhe Yan and Dong Hua.

"All right sweetheart. Let's have a look." Feng Jiu was dilating. Zhe Yan called Feng Jiu's mother thru their mental bond. "You need to hurry back home, Xiao Jiu is dilating already, she's ready to give birth soon. I need you here. Dong Hua I need water and towels." Dong Hua conjured several water basins and plenty of towels.

"Now go and placed yourself behind her and support Xiao Jiu's back with your weight."

"And then what?" Dong Hua asked Zhe Yan.

"Just be calm Dong Hua, we don't need you to get all worked up. This is going to be painful for her, you need to be emotionally stable throughout the entire process. Wipe her sweat and let her tell you what she needs from you. Xiao Jiu darling practice your breathing techniques; you are not ready to push yet." Zhe Yan instructed her.

Dong Hua produced several pillows and sheets to make Feng Jiu feel more comfortable. He changed her robes to a loose open chemise and removed her socks and shoes. He pulled her hair into a bun for her to feel better. "Husband thank you."

"Hang in there little fox. I'm here with you. I'm not going anywhere." Dong Hua reassured her.

Meanwhile at Nine Heavens

Bai Qian was in active labor screaming up a storm. Several maids were coming in and out of her room with water and towels. The medicine king and her mother, the Fox Empress were tending her. "Xiao Wu breathe darling."

"Where did second sister went?"

"Xiao Jiu is labor too, Zhe Yan summoned her to help him out. Apparently, they are at his hut at the peach orchard."

"Where is Ye Hua?"

"He's outside Xiao Wu."

"I want him here with me."

"But..." The medicine king protested

"YE HUAAA!!!!!!" Bai Qian yelled while having a strong contraction.

"Qian Qian my love I'm here." Ye Hua came and held her hand.

"Stay with me Ye Hua." Bai Qian pleaded.

The first ministers, midwife and nurses were telling Ye Hua to leave the room. It was not accustomed for the father to be in the same room while she was in labor. He was being told to follow the royal protocol for the occasion. "Tianjun, please wait outside."

"Nobody can tell me what I need to do. I will stay by my wife's side and that is final. All of you leave us, that is an order!!! Ye Hua yelled out. Bai Rui, the medicine king and the midwife were the only ones allowed to stay.

"Ye Hua son, please calm down. Xiao Wu needs you steady. Don't worry we'll take good care of them. I birthed five children so I know what I'm doing." She reassured Ye Hua.

Back at the Ten Miles Peach Forest

Feng Jiu was changing positions to be more comfortable during labor. Dong Hua was massaging her back.

"Xiao Jiu darling mother is here." She looked at Dijun apprehensively.

"Don't ask me to leave, because I won't." Dong Hua unsympathetically said.

"Mama, please." Feng Jiu admonished her mother.

"Don't worry darling, I'm here to help your father. How about a bath? Do you want to soak a while to ease your discomfort?"

"That will be great mama, thank you."

"I'll go ahead and prepare it. Where is your father?"

"He is at the apothecary preparing some herbs for Jiu'er." Dong Hua replied to her.

"Thank you Dijun. All right. I will work on the bath darling, I'll be back."

Minutes later her bath was ready and Dong Hua carefully placed her inside the tub. "I'll stay with you I don't want you to fall asleep inside the tub."

"It's okay Dong Hua, trust me I won't fall asleep. Rest a bit, let mama take care of me for a while. You could help fùqīn organize the rest of the stuff he needs for the delivery."

"All right little fox. I won't be far." Dong Hua tenderly kissed her forehead.

"Don't worry Dijun, I'll call you if she wants you again." Dong Hua left them to find Zhe Yan at his apothecary.

"Do you need something for your nerves Dong Hua?" Zhe Yan teasingly asked him.

"I'm fine. Why Jiu'er is in labor, she's not due yet."

"I guess your son wants to come out ahead of time. What are you guys doing here? Out of all the places we got ready, you chose to come here."

"Jiu'er wanted to collect some peaches to bake me some cakes and make jam, on our way here her water broke and her contractions began. I wasn't going to turn around back to Qing Qui on her condition."

"I see."

"Can we move her?"

"Not at this stage. Even if we aura travel it could be risky. All she needs is here and we all are here with her."

"All right. How long do you think she'll be in labor?"

"Is hard to predict these things Dong Hua. This baby is not a normal immortal baby, so I can't say for sure. Xiao Jiu hasn't fully dilated yet. It can be hours or even days. Her contractions are far apart which means she still have some time until she's fully dilated. All we need to do for now is wait. Don't worry her mother is with her, she'll be fine."

"I will conjure a bigger bed for her, she won't sleep without me. Your bed is too small and uncomfortable."

"Hey don't hate the bed, it serves its purpose. I like simple living." Dong Hua ignored his comment. He went back to the room and did some of his handy renovation. "Much better now." He also brought a sandalwood incense to soothe his little fox anxiety.

Her mother washed her hair and was giving her a scalp massage to relax her. Dong Hua brought her a clean chemise. After a long while Feng Jiu felt more relaxed. Her contractions calmed down; she was able to walk a bit.

"Are you ready to go back to bed?" Dong Hua asked her.

"Yes, but I will sleep better if you are with me."

Dong Hua smiled "Of course I will be with you. Come let me help you." Dong Hua carried her back to bed and she slept for a while and Dong Hua cradled her in his arms. He closed his eyes too taking advantage of the fact that she had fallen asleep to rest too.

Feng Jiu's mother prepared dinner for all of them. It was going to be a long night.

At Nine Heavens

Bai Qian was exhausted during her labor too, she felt asleep. Ye Hua was with her all the time taking care of her needs.

"Tianju you need your rest too. Let us watch her while you rest for a bit." The midwife suggested.

"I won't leave her side. I'm comfortable here with her. Leave us."

"Ye Hua, Ali is outside he wants to come in. He's worried about his mother." Bai Rui said.

"Let him come in."

"Ali greets Lord Father."

"Come here son." Ali went to his father embrace.

"How is mother doing?" Ali asked his father on a whispering tone.

"She is resting now Ali, we don't want to wake her up. Give her a kiss and go back to your room, soon your little brother or sister will come."

"Would you wake me up father?"

"Of course, I will son, now go." Ali gave Bai Qian a soft kiss on her cheek and left with Nai Nai back to his courtyard. Ye Hua carefully accommodated himself next to his beloved and held her in his arms.

Meanwhile at the Peach Orchard

Feng Jiu's mother went back to the room to check on her daughter and Dijun. They were both peacefully sleeping. She left their food tray nearby and closed the door.

"Well?" Zhe Yan asked her.

"They are sleeping. I didn't have the heart to wake them up. I highly doubt that Dijun wants to eat."

"We have everything ready in case she wakes up, come we should rest too. I'll be on alert." They both retired to the next room to get some rest.

A bright full moon was adorning the night sky. Everyone was resting peacefully.

Near dawn

Feng Jiu stirred up in Dong Hua's arms, he immediately woke up. Feng Jiu was having mild contractions again. Dong Hua took a wet cloth and placed it on her forehead to stabilize her temperature, she was getting hot. "Jiu'er you feel feverish are you feeling all right?"

"Get fùqīn please, I think my core is unstable." Zhe Yan heard them talking and quickly got up to check on her. "Xiao Jiu darling, what's wrong?"

"She feels feverish Zhe Yan. Could it be her core?" Dong Hua worryingly asked.

"Let me scan her Dong Hua." Zhe Yan scanned her with his phoenix powers, he was able to stabilize her core that was heating up. "Xiao Jiu darling, I will suggest that you get into the tub again to bring your temperature down. We don't want the baby to be in trouble."

Dong Hua prepared the water and placed her inside the tub. Feng Jiu was spent. "I will get inside with her; she wants to sleep more. I don't want her to drown." Dong Hua said.

"Keep an eye on her temperature Dong Hua, it needs to come down." Dong Hua nodded. He slowly apply some of his essence to her and brought her temperature down. He placed his hand on her abdomen to check on the baby. "Little one, your mother and I are eagerly waiting for your arrival, be good and come out safely." He telepathically said. He held her in his arms caressing her lovely face. "My beautiful little fox hang in there my love."

Later on, strong contractions woke Feng Jiu up. She quickly sat down firmly holding on the tub rims. "AHHHHHHHHHHH" Feng Jiu screamed. Dong Hua was holding her preventing her to slip out. Zhe Yan and her mother rushed in.

"Get her out of the water Dong Hua." Zhe Yan yelled.

"There is no time, the baby is coming!!!" Feng Jiu cried out. As soon as she said that her contractions got stronger "AHHHHHHHHHHH I feel his head coming down." Feng Jiu breathed hard.

"Dong Hua, you need to be ready to pull the baby out of her when you see him coming. Xiao Jiu big breaths in and out, in and out darling. Is time to start pushing, on the count of three give it all you got. One, two, three..." Zhe Yan said.

Feng Jiu pushed with all her strength. She felt the baby coming down the birth canal. Dong Hua saw the little head coming out. "One more time little fox, I see his head coming out. You're doing great" Feng Jiu breathed in and gave it another try. She concentrated to push hard painfully screaming. The baby's head and shoulders were out. "Now Dong Hua pull the baby out. While we hold Xiao Jiu." Zhe Yan said.

With his big hands he carefully pulled his son out of Feng Jiu and quickly cut the umbilical cord. "MY SON" Dong Hua expressed full of joy. Little Gun Gun finally arrived strongly crying. The room instantly was filled with an intense bright light when Dong Hua held him in his arms. He covered the baby with a deep purple blanket. Little Gun Gun was radiating with a heavenly light.

All that it could be heard thru out the peach forest was Gun Gun baby cries. Waking up the forest creatures. At the first rays of light, all of Zhe Yan peach trees shined with a bright light, and magically bloomed. Creation magic was manifesting thru nature; giving a spectacle of colors and magical sounds. Numerous exotic birds were flying on top of Zhe Yan's hut. Among them was an enormous spirit silver phoenix engulfed in flames of pure fire calling out the rest of the birds to a dance formation to welcome little Gun Gun.

Zhe Yan and Feng Jiu looked at the sight of nature manifesting outside thru the hut small window. Zhe Yan kissed her head. "Darling you did great. He's beautiful. We're so proud of you sweetheart."

Dong Hua's eyes were misted with happy tears. At last, he can hold his beautiful son in his arms. "Little one, welcome home." He tenderly inhaled his scent, a mix of lotus, azaleas, and sandalwood. The baby was calmly cooing in his arms. "Is time to meet your mother." He carefully placed Gun Gun on Feng Jiu's arms. Tears of happiness were coming down her face. "Gun Gun mama loves you so much. Welcome home."

Gun Gun little black stone eyes opened to stare at his mother, surprising everyone. Zhe Yan and Feng Jiu's mother were happily crying too. "He's gorgeous Xiao Jiu. Look as his soft silver hair". Her mother said.

"He's perfect, just like his father." Dong Hua tenderly smiled at his little fox.

"Come let's get you out of the water and dry you out. You need to rest." Zhe Yan said.

Dong Hua magically dry them up and placed them on the bed. With his essence he healed Feng Jiu's teared body after the baby birth. Little Gun Gun was hungry. Feng Jiu began breastfeeding him while Dong Hua watched their strong bond formed. "It's so beautiful" He said.

Zhe Yan and her mother gave them some privacy. They went outside to watch the birds flying around. Zhe Yan saw the enormous spirit phoenix and grinned. "There will be a day that they can come and fly freely around again."

"One day Zhe Yan, they will come back to life." Feng Jiu's mother said. She held his hand and Zhe Yan held her in his arms.

Morning time at Nine Heavens

Bai Qian woke up to see her Ye Hua peacefully sleeping next to her. He opened his eyes "How are you feeling Qian Qian? Did you sleep well?"

"I always do when you're with me."

"Are you hungry?"

"No. I wonder when this little one will come out." Bai Qian padded her tummy.

"Do you want to take a bath? It will help you relax. I can give you a massage too."

"All right Ye Hua."

Ye Hua gave her a bath and massage, then helped her to walk around the room to encourage the labor to continue. Bai Rui came to check on her daughter; she was pleased to see Ye Hua being attentive to her. "Xiao Wu are you feeling better today?"

"Refreshed now. I can't wait for this one to come out. This baby is lazy."

"Like you Xiao Wu."

"Mother!!"

"I remember when I was in labor with you Xiao Wu, you didn't want to come out. I was in labor for five days."

"Hopefully this is not the case. Have you heard from Xiao Jiu?"

"Not yet. We'll probably receive news later on. Your father will come in today to see you. He's bringing your brother with him."

"That is good news indeed. I miss him."

"We all do Xiao Wu. Come let's walk around some more, is still early and this little one has to come out."

Ye Hua and Bai Rui accompanied Bai Qian to walk around the peach garden that Ye Hua planted for her. The flowers buds started to bloom in front of their eyes. "Look Qian Qian!" Ye Hua pointed out.

"So beautiful. Are you doing that Ye Hua?"

"Not me." He answered.

They saw a big flock of exotic birds flying around the sky. "This is an auspicious sign." Bai Rui noticed.

"Could it be that Xiao Jiu already gave birth mother?"

"Could be." Bai Rui replied. As soon as Bai Rui words finished. Bai Qian' baby became excited. Her contractions started again. "Woe, is time to head back to the room. I'll get the midwife and the medicine king." Bai Rui said.

Back at the room Bai Qian contractions were stronger and stronger, she was fully dilated but the baby wasn't coming out. Bai Qian was worn-out at this point. Ye Hua was getting worried. "Why does the baby won't come out?" Ye Hua asked the medicine king.

"We're not sure Tianjun, it is possible that this baby is special and the delivery will be difficult."

Hours later...

Zhe Yan arrived to Nine Heavens, Bai Rui summoned him. "Zhe Yan, Xiao Wu needs help, she fully dilated but the baby won't come out."

"Let me check her out." Zhe Yan went to her room and the medicine king greeted him. "High god Zhe Yan, it is a blessing that you have come."

"No formalities are needed, let me take care of Tianhou today." He quickly placed his hands on Bai Qian abdomen and scanned her with his phoenix aura. "Xiao Wu, the baby is breeched. I have to turn the baby around, hang in there. After this the baby will find its position and then you can begin pushing." Zhe Yan instructed.

"All right Zhe Yan, do what you need to do." Bai Qian said.

"Ye Hua, Bai Rui please hold her hands. Xiao Wu try your best to calm down and endure it."

Zhe Yan using his essence placed his hands on her abdomen and began turning the baby around using his powers. Bai Qian painfully screamed but held on until Zhe Yan finished. Ye Hua wiped her sweat from her forehead. "You're doing great Qian Qian it will be over soon."

"All right Xiao Wu, give it a couple of minutes until the baby calms down and look for the birth canal. Everyone get ready." Zhe Yan said. The midwife got in position and Bai Qian started to feel the baby coming down the birth canal.

"Tianhou is time to start pushing." The midwife said.

"Xiao Wu breathe in and out and then push. Ye Hua, Bai Rui hold her hands. This is it." Zhe Yan said.

Bai Qian began her breathing techniques and then she pushed hard several times. "The head is coming out Tianhou, one more time." The midwife directed.

Bai Qian closed her eyes and concentrated her strength to give a big strenuous push. With it the baby was finally out. "Here it is Tianjun" Ye Hua cut the umbilical cord. Bai Qian finally puffed relieved laying back. "Congratulations Tianjun, congratulations Tainhou for the birth of a Crown Princess." The midwife placed the little baby girl into Ye Hua arms.

"She's so beautiful Qian Qian"

The little princess was born with soft ebony hair, beautiful pearl white skin, stunning light brown eyes with long eyelashes, rosy porcelain cheeks and a small dragon scale birthmark on her right ankle. She smelled a mix of peonies and dragon fruit. A very delicate and unique scent. Ye Hua's eyes were filled with so much pride and joy. "I can tell that you'll be trouble." He chuckled. "Come and meet your mother" Ye Hua carefully placed her into Bai Qian expectant arms.

"Ye Hua, she is gorgeous. But this little one has more dragon traits than fox. Different from Ali." Bai Qian said after scanning her aura.

"I know Qian Qian. Are you disappointed?" Ye Hua asked her.

"Not at all. She's surely special. Ali is going to love her." Bring him over so he can meet his little sister.

Outside in Nine Heavens, the sky turned with various shades of pink, orange and yellow. Peony flowers began to rain down filling the air with their exquisite and delicate scent. All sorts of butterflies swamped the sky flying around in coordination. Zhe Yan watched the sky and smiled. He knew the birth of these babies was auspicious. 

Si Ming came by and stood next to him. "I had never witnessed such beauty in the skies before. This is indeed a favorable sign." Si Ming said.

"You're the Star Lord, keeper of all fates; you should know." Zhe Yan padded his shoulder and left him flabbergasted. Si Ming quickly went back to his office to check the imperial scrolls; he was surprised to find a new entry. "Oh my, this is indeed shocking." He closed the scrolls and placed them back. He remained pensive in his office trying to figure out how to process this.

By now Ali was holding his little sister. He was so happy to meet her.

"What would you name her?" Ye Hua asked Bai Qian.

"Her name will be Xiao Shǎn Liàng because she will shine bright in darkness."

"I like it. Xiao Shǎn Liàng our shinning little bundle of joy." Ye Hua cheery said.

"I like it too mother. Xiao Shǎn Liàng, your big brother will always protect you." Ali gave her a sweet kiss on her tiny head.

"Another granddaughter in the family. Your father will be overjoyed. We have a double celebration to prepare." Bai Rui said.

"Double?" Ye Hua asked

"Yes double. Xiao Jiu gave birth to Qing Qui's Crown Prince Guang Gun Gun. Zhe Yan just gave me the news. He was born earlier today. We'll announce his birth later on today and begin the preparations for the banquet presentation for both of the babies. It's Qing Qui tradition. Oh, I'm so excited." Bai Rui concluded.

"Marvelous." Ye Hua forcefully said. Bai Qian laughed at her husband reaction. She knew he was not keen to fox celebrations. "Please endure it. We didn't have the chance to do the presentation banquet for Ali when he was born." Bai Qian told him.

"Even if I have to contest with Dijun, I will not budge on this banquet preparation. Qing Qui is in need of more happy occasions like these."

"I will love to see you bout with Dijun over this." Bai Qian laughed.

"I have my ways Xiao Wu, don't worry. I will get it done! Now let me hold my granddaughter please." Ali sadly surrendered his little sister to his grandmother.

"Don't worry Ali you will have more time to hold your sister. Now is my turn" Bai Rui was lovely gazing her beautiful granddaughter. "You're going to be so spoiled little one. Hmmm I see your mischievousness in her Xiao Wu. She will fill your life with all type of excitements. She is indeed a blessed one Ye Hua. She is going to be a fierce princess, it's in her blood. Oh my..." Bai Rui quiet down.

"What is it mother?" Bai Qian furrowed her brows.

"Nothing Xiao Wu, this little one is determined to get what she wants, one of Bai's best traits. But Bai Rui kept to herself what she saw in her future. "Xiao Shǎn Liàng grandma and grandpa will love you and spoil you rotten." The little princess cooed with Bai Rui as to answer her. "Oh yes, we will."

Forty Days Later

Both of the royal babies were introduced to Qing Qui and Nine Heavens societies. The presentation banquet celebration lasted for seven days. The proud grandparents were overjoyed to see many deities that came to join in the happy occasion. Qing Qui citizens felt that a great blessing was bestowed upon them by heavens, seeing that Qing Qui splendor was revitalized all over their region. They were able to give their best offerings and gifts as a sign of their gratitude.

After the festivities concluded. Dong Hua decided to return to Tai Chen Palace with his family for some quiet time. Zhong Lin prepared their welcoming. "Dijun, Dihou, Prince Gun Gun welcome to Tai Chen Palace."

All of the imperial guards, staff and personnel welcome their masters. Dong Hua's eyes were glued to his son which he was proudly carrying. "At ease all." Feng Jiu said. "Thank you all for the warm welcoming." A massive white lion followed the couple thru the main hall. Everyone was surprised to see the stately feline entering Tai Chen.

"Dihou everything is set as you requested."

"Thank you, Zhong Lin, please take care of our esteem guest here. He will be staying with us for a while."

"Yes Dihou."

They went directly to the baby's room and Dong Hua placed Gun Gun on his crib. He was sound asleep. Feng Jiu was uncomfortable; her breasts were full of milk and she didn't want to wake the baby. Dong Hua noticed her discomfort. "Little fox, what is bothering you, are you tired? You've been busy lately not resting enough."

"My breasts hurt so much, I don't want to wake up Gun Gun to nurse him, I might have to pump the milk out." Feng Jiu looked at Dong Hua with a loving smile on her face. "You know, is the perfect time to nurse my other baby." Dong Hua's lips curled up a bit, he knew what she wanted to do.

Feng Jiu took Dong Hua's hand and sat down in the bed on a comfortable position, she placed a couple of pillows on her lap and asked Dong Hua to laid down. She then uncovered one of her breasts and offered to him. "Close your eyes while I breastfeed you. I will hold you as if you were Gun Gun." Feng Jiu softly told him. He looked at her and nodded and he latched on.

When Feng Jiu started to breastfeed him, Dong Hua felt a knot in his chest that unloosed. It was an unknown dependency so intimate and precious; both strong and gentle, loud and quiet. Unrelenting and yielding; protecting and releasing. A powerful connection so fresh and boundless yet delicate and subtle. He automatically placed his arms on her waist while Feng Jiu caressed his hair and cradled him in her arms. He felt so comfortable and linked to his little fox in a new way. He opened up his eyes to see his beloved silently meditating. He felt her bare emotions being shared with him on a new level of intimacy; pouring herself to nourish his unknown need. He finally got to know how does it feel to be held on a motherly embrace, something he never experienced. A love so pure and sacred, worthy of respect, honor and admiration. He completely surrendered and received it all. He felt secured, protected, cherished in her arms full of love and devotion. His little fox was his shield, his guide, his protector and above all she was his. Dong Hua felt a tranquility compared to the most divine bliss; it was overwhelming for him. "I'm home." He thought. After a while he felt asleep in her arms while she was breastfeeding him.

Feng Jiu noticed that his hold on her loosen up. She opened her eyes to see that he was sound asleep. She smiled. She covered her breast and cradled Dong Hua as if he was a child yearning to be held and comforted from his hidden fears.

"I will never get tired of loving you Dong Hua. I will be whatever you need me to be. I will please you, comfort you, shield you, protect you and be your all whenever you need me. I will be by your side forever and more." Feng Jiu cutely yawned and fell asleep holding Dong Hua securely in her arms.

Zhong Lin quietly open the door to check on his masters. He saw that everyone was sound asleep. He felt content that his master finally was happy with his wife and son. "Welcome home". He said while leaving the room.

A powerful entity swiftly came to the room. A little boy with silver hair materialized in front of the baby's crib. 

"I'm happy to see that you finally arrived. It is time for me to come back." The little boy touched the baby's forehead and disappeared on a silvery mist. The baby cutely yawned and giggled.

Dong Hua sensed a familiar presence in the room. He opened his eyes to see his beloved little fox holding him asleep. He carefully laid her down and went to see that the baby was fully awake.

"My son you have been naughty. I was wondering when you were going to show up again."

The baby looked at Dong Hua and his little eyes sparkled. Dong Hua noticed and smiled. "I love you son. Welcome back home."
