Bai Qian and Feng Jiu were panicking. "Girls, please calm down both of you." Feng Jiu's mother admonished.

"How did you....?"

"How did you....?" Feng Jiu asked Bai Qian

"You both concealed your pregnancies from others. Did Zhe Yan taught you the concealment spell too Bai Qian?"

Bai Qian nodded. "That explains it."

"Gugu please, don't get all fussed up about this." Feng Jiu said.

"Xiao Jiu, don't worry. Please tell me that you will take better care of yourself. I can't believe that you were kidnapped while being pregnant!!!"

"Gugu, the only ones who know about my pregnancy besides Dong Hua, are mom and Zhe Yan and now you."

"I bet that you didn't wanted me to know either."

"Well looks who's talking hiding yours as well."

"Touché lassie."

"Bai Qian, we don't want to disclose Xiao Jiu's condition with anyone else."

"Don't worry I fully understand. Ye Hua feels the same way with our pregnancy. There are too many hidden dangers at high court. We are keeping close taps on Ali's education to prevent damaging influences. So, I can comprehend why you and Dijun are being discreet about yours too. Please tell me that your kidnapper has been caught."

"I haven't got the chance to talk to Dijun about that situation yet. But I'm certain that grandfather and father are hunting him down. Dijun enforced Tai Chen security for that reason."

"I noticed. If it wasn't for my current status, I'm afraid I wasn't going to get in so easily. That husband of yours thinks about everything."

"Please don't misjudge my husband Gugu, he wants us to be safe. Mother is here with me to ensure that we're are well and taken care of."

"That is good Xiao Jiu. I won't give Dijun a hard time, don't worry. I know that you're probably worry about the war and him facing Miao Lou."

"Gugu, is not only Dong Hua, there is also our family and friends too. Not to mention Qing Qui people. There are too many lives at stake with that evil monster being on the loose."

"I know how you feel, but right now you can't engage in any dangerous activity for the sake of your child."

"I'm fully aware of the risks Gugu. Besides, mom is keeping close taps on me."

"Good, this kittling is very creative on finding ways to get into trouble. If you need my help to keep her straight let me know."

"Gugu!!!"

"I mean it Xiao Jiu. You better listen to your husband and your mother. Mischief is your second name. Well, I'll leave you to your mother care. Mother will be arriving tomorrow. Don't forget to send Zhong Lin to my place."

"Yes Gugu."

"Take care Xiao Jiu. Let me know if you need my help aunt."

"Don't worry Bai Qian we'll be fine." Bai Qian left Tai Chen Palace leaving them alone to talk.

"Xiao Jiu darling how did you noticed that Bai Qian is pregnant?"

"When we hugged my baby jumped in my tummy. It was a strange, strong and quick feeling. She must had experienced the same reaction that I did to figured out my pregnancy. I wonder what that means." Feng Jiu went into a pensive mode. Her mother was observing her closely.

"Mother, I will be resting early today. I feel overly tired."

"It must be the pregnancy sweetheart. Don't worry is normal. Go rest."

"If you want to help out grandmother and gugu tomorrow morning, it will be fine with me. I will sleep in late. That way you won't be bored. The maids will take care of my needs they know what I like, when I wake up, whenever that will be."

"You won't mind being alone for a couple of hours?"

"No mama, I will probably be sleeping. That's the only activity I want to do for now. My body needs rest."

"Okay Xiao Jiu. If you need me send for me immediately."

"No problem."

Feng Jiu retired for her chambers; she noticed a letter on the table. "Huh? Who could it be from?" Feng Jiu thought. She opened the letter to read "I miss you" Feng Jiu smiled. 

"Dijun misses me. I will write a reply." Feng Jiu grabbed a piece of paper and began her writing a letter to her beloved husband.

At Miao Yi Hui Ming Realm...

Yan Chiwu special forces brought back the elusive traitor. "Demon Lord, here is the conspirator as per your request." They dragged his body and placed it on Yan Chiwu feet.

"Is he alive?" Yan Chiwu asked.

"He still is." The general replied.

Yan Chiwu laughed out loud. "You are in for a treat my friend." Yan Chiwu glared at his face.

"You will greatly pay for this Yan Chiwu!!" Cang Yi replied.

"On the contrary, you will greatly receive your just rewards soon. Take him to the darkest dungeon"

"Yes, Demon Lord."

Yan Chiwu sent a missive to Dong Hua. "The rat has been caught"

Minutes later Dong Hua appeared at Miao Yi Hui Ming Realm, Yan Chiwu greeted him. "Dijun"

"Take me to him." Dong Hua sternly expressed.

"Right this way Dijun." Yan Chiwu took Dong Hua thru a massive underground cave where they kept their most valuable prisoners.

"There he is, the mighty Dong Hua Dijun." Cang Yi shouted.

"Wait outside." Dong Hua commanded him.

"Yes Dijun." Yan Chiwu left the dungeon but hid behind a pillar nearby to witness everything.

"You used your filthy dog to do your dirty work!! How creative. You could have found me if you wanted to. You lazy bastard." Cang Yi insulted Dong Hua.

"My, my, this naughty eagle is full of energy today too bad your wings have been clipped. You can't fly out now. You crossed a line that shouldn't been crossed."

"I crossed a line? How about you? You took someone that it didn't belong to you. Feng Jiu was destined to be with me ever since I noticed her way back. I loved her; she was supposed to be my wife. But you interfered in our lives. You couldn't leave her alone and manipulated her feelings to be with you knowing that I had a marriage arrangement with her. She was my destined queen and you snatched her away from me. You disgusting old sack of bones and crib robber."

"Destined queen?" Dong Hua shrugged at his comment. "My Dihou didn't belong to you in the first place. She made it clear to you that she didn't want to marry you. Her feelings are pure towards me, we belong with each other."

"You tainted her heart with your evil intents and manipulative ways. You can fool her family but not me. I had a chance to be with her and you ruined it."

"You have guts to talk to me this way. You said that you loved her? What type of love inflicts harm to others the way that you did? You harmed my Dihou and that is something I can't tolerate. You signed your death sentence the day you decided to betray our allegiance and brought shame to your clan and your family. Allying yourself with that evil monster Miao Lou to destroy us."

"My father is innocent of my wrong doings. I acted alone to give Maio Lou a chance to rule and kill you once and for all."

"Miao Lou killing me? Dong Hua shrugged "Wishful thinking. She doesn't possess the power to do so. No one does."

"She knows about your weakness and she will succeed on harming you and make you suffer. I'm rooting for that!"

"Nobody will touch and harm my Dihou again and that is a guaranteed."

"Want a bet? If Feng Jiu can't be mine, then she will not be with you no more. She will die and leave you to rot alone. You can kill me and get away with it but you can't defy fate no longer. All debts must be paid in full you bastard and yours is way past due. I want you to be miserable for the rest of your deplored lifetime."

Dong Hua approached him, his black stone eyes fuming with ire "Feng Jiu is mine you insolent dreg. No one will separate us. Not even death! 

Since you're eager to die I will grant your wish. But I want to you suffer, I won't grant you a quick death. I have a present for you, think of it as a parting gift." Dong Hua opened him up with his bare hands from his chest down and then placed flesh eating crawlers inside of his body and then sealed him up back again.

"My little friends will do a fine job butchering you slowly from the inside out. That will teach you not to mess with me and my Dihou. Nobody crosses me and live to tell the tale. I swore to bring her justice and this will be the way. Now meet your fate you naughty eagle." He turned around to hear Cang Yi agonizing screams.

"What was that? Ahhh music to my ears!!!" Dong Hua evilly smiled and left the cell.

"Under no circumstances you will kill him when he begs you to do it. He will greatly suffer for what he did before he dies." He said to Yan Chiwu.

"Yes Dijun." Yan Chiwu replied.

"When he finally dies, burn his body and send his ashes to his father."

"Yes Dijun." Dong Hua disappeared on a red mist.

The rebel army commanded by Miao Lou arrived at Qing Qui territory. Miao Lou was trying to break Qing Qui security forcefield. Dong Hua felt it.

Mo Yan and the entire army were ready to engage combat. They were waiting on Mo Yan orders. The heavy artillery was upfront under the Bai Clan control. Bai Zhi was eager to relieve his old battle days. "I smell the blood spilled on the ground already and it will not be mine"

The high deities were up on a hill scanning the battle formations. Dong Hua, Zhe Yan, Mo Yan, Ye Hua and Bai Zhi were in charge of the bigger divisions. Each one was in position keenly waiting.

"Brothers let us remember why we are fighting for." Mo Yan reminded them.

"For Qing Qui" Bai Zhi said

"For a greater era" Zhe Yan said

"For peace in all realms" Ye Hua said.

The moment all were fearing came to pass, Miao Lou finally broke the security forcefield.

To kill this evil monster once and for all.... Dong Hua said.

"All right everyone ready? GOOOOOOOOOO" Mo Yan yelled.

All hell broke loose.

Each battalion crossed weapons with the rebel army. The war cries of the brave ones were heard on the field. Miao Lou was patiently waiting for Dong Hua to come into action. All around was nothing but a whirlwind of disorder and violence, a blur of color and vicious motion. The sound was barely enough to obscure the cries of men, the screams of injured beasts, and the thunder of steel striking steel. The Bai army forcefully eradicated the upfront threat; however, the rebel army knowing their stratagems fortified their defenses.

Bai Zhen along with Bai Yi were getting exhausted. "We can't yield our forces Bai Zhen, we have to lure them into the centerfield."

Part of the celestial army under Lian Song command, were paving the way for the Bai army to reach the centerfield.

Cang Yi father's army were at the left side of the field eliminating their share of rebels.

Miao Lou did some hand movements to revive the fallen soldiers from her army, making it harder for our heroes to kill them. Making them exert their militaries in desperation.

The situation was turning on her favor at the battle field.

Meanwhile at Tai Chen Palace....

Feng Jiu taking advantage of the fact that she was alone, took the time to study the ancient magic scrolls she took from Dong Hua's secret library. The spells were complex and difficult. She needed to bring forth her core powers in order to succeed. Feng Jiu continued to practice until she finally subjugated them. Her next move will depend on her keenness to leave the palace. She meditated on how she was going to thrive her plan.

In another part at Nine Heavens, the fox women were keeping taps on the ongoing war. They were taking Qing Qui refugees who were telling the latest updates. Qing Qui was in dire situation.

"I need to check on Xiao Jiu." Feng Jiu's mother said to the Fox Empress and Bai Qian.

"Go in peace, we have everything settled here." Bai Qian replied to her.

Zhong Li and some of the Tai Chen personnel were assisting the crisis relief for the war victims. They were all busy making sure that every refugee was taken care of.

"Xiao Jiu sweetheart." Feng Jiu's mother shouted.

"In here mama"

"Are you okay? How are you feeling? You look spent darling; didn't you rest at all?"

Mother, you have many questions. I'm okay, but I need your help with something important."

"Tell me what do you need."

"I need to borrow something from you."

"Huh? What are you talking about?"

"Mama, I don't have time to explain things in detail. You are the only one I trust and I'm running out of time."

"Xiao Jiu, what exactly are you planning to do?"

"Please trust me mother."

"Trust you? You are up to something dangerous, aren't you?"

"Are you willing to help me out?"

"You know I do, but..."

"Then is settled."

"Now hold on a minute Xiao Jiu; I haven't agreed to do anything yet." Feng Jiu's mother annoyingly said.

Feng Jiu saw how her mother was getting angry at her. She didn't want to explain things to her knowing that she won't agree to it. The only way to do it was to put her mother to sleep so she can proceed with her plan.

"Mama, I dearly love you and I hope that one day you can forgive me after all of this is over." And with that Feng Jiu casted a deep sleep spell on her mother. "Duìbùqǐ mama."

Feng Jiu proceeded with the forbidden powerful spell. She produced the magical gauze with their bodily discharges from the last time Dong Hua and her were together, along with a small bottle of his golden blood that she collected from him. She made a small cut from her finger and mixed her blood along with Dong Hua's. After that she read the incantation words from the scroll to harvest a safe environment for her fetus to thrive on. She was taking her time to encapsulate her baby and safely transfer it into her mother's womb. It was a lengthy incantation. After she finished, she casted a hiding spell on her mother to hide the pregnancy from everyone else. Then she went to rest to regain some of her lost cultivation. After her much needed sleep, Feng Jiu casted out the sleeping spell from her mother and acted like nothing happened.

"Mama, are you feeling all right?"

"Xiao Jiu, what happened?"

"You fainted and I had to hauled you to bed. You don't remember anything?"

"I only remember that you asked me to help you and needed to borrow something from me. What was it darling?"

"Nothing mother. I simply wanted something different to eat, but my craving passed. Not to worry."

"Are you sure sweetheart?"

"I'm sure."

"If you don't mind, I will sleep a bit more, I feel overly tired out of the sudden. Can you manage a couple of hours by yourself? Zhong Li still busy with your grandmother."

"I'll be okay mama, don't worry. Rest as much as you need." Feng Jiu fixed her mother quilt and tucked her in.

Bai Qian was notified that the Nine Heavens were under attack. The security forcefield was breached by some of Miao Lou forces. Their target: Tai Chen Palace.

Feng Jiu was unaware of the impending danger outside; she was magically forging the soul sealing sword from the ancient scroll from her husband library. When she heard some screams from her maids.

A hurried male voice came to her room and broke her concentration. "Dihou, Tai Chen Palace is under attack, please take your mother and barricade yourself on a safe place. We will eliminate the treat." An imperial general warned her. "Please hurry and follow us Dihou."

"My mother is weak at this point, please carry her". Feng Jiu said. An imperial soldier carried Feng Jiu's mother to a safe room where Dong Hua had a security forcefield. "Dihou, Dihou?"

"Where is Dihou?" The soldier asked around.

Feng Jiu stayed behind to finish the sword while a fight was waging outside the courtyard. Once she was done, she joined in the fight. Bai Qian and Bai Rui arrived at Tai Chen Palace to witness Feng Jiu killing the enemy forces along with Tai Chen imperial soldiers.

"Xiao Jiu!!!" Bai Qian yelled. She used her fan towards an unseen enemy soldier aiming to kill her niece.

"Gugu, grandmother!" Feng Jiu noticed them coming in.

"Kittling are you okay?" Bia Qian worriedly asked her.

"I'm fine Gugu. But why are we under attacked?"

"My guess is as good as yours. Where is your mother Xiao Jiu?" Bai Rui asked her.

"She's in a safe place with some of the imperial soldiers guarding her."

"You shouldn't be fighting Xiao Jiu." Bai Qian admonished her.

"Don't worry Gugu everything is under control. Who ever they were, they were able to penetrate the security forcefield. Have you sent word to uncle Ye Hua Gugu?"

"He's on his way here."

"Qian Qian!!!" Ye Hua appeared shouting her name.

"I'm here Ye Hua."

"Qian Qian are you okay?" Ye Hua firmly hugged his beloved wife.

"I'm fine Ye Hua, everything is under control. Don't worry. Ali is safe, he's heavily guarded at Wuo Tong Palace."

Ye Hua breathed relieved. "Feng Jiu, Yuèmǔ are you guys, okay?"

"We're fine uncle Ye Hua. Everyone here is fine. Our Tai Chen soldiers were able to decimate the enemy forces around here. Why are we under attack? And where is Dijun?"

"Miao Lou sent a retinue of her army to secretly attack Nine Heavens. We received a missive from one our spies. That is why I'm here. I have to make sure that there are no other enemy forces hiding around to get the forcefield back up again. Dijun is at the battlefield with Mo Yan, he's fine. The battle is at full force at Qing Qui."

"I need to do a headcount here uncle Ye Hua and give any medical assistance to any injured personnel. Plus assess our damages too."

Zhong Li appeared at Tai Chen and ran towards Feng Jiu to reassure that his mistress was okay. "Dihou, have you been harmed?"

"Zhong Li, be at ease. We are fine. Our Tai Chen soldiers protected us."

"Oh thank heavens." Zhong Li sighed relieved.

"We have work to do Zhong Li, we need to find out who is injured to give them medical assistance and make a damage assessment."

"Don't worry Dihou I will take care of these tasks." A group of soldiers and Tai Chen help assisted Zhong Li in everything that was needed.

"I need to check on mother." Feng Jiu said.

"We will return to Pure Wuo Tong Palace to check on Ali. I want to make sure that everyone is accounted safe."

"I will accompany you guys. I will stay with Ali." Bai Rui said, and they all left.

While everyone was distracted, Feng Jiu saw the perfect opportunity to act upon her plans. "Zhong Li please make sure that my mother is safe and sound please. She is resting."

"No worries Dihou, we will see that she is taken care of."

"Thank you Zhong Li."

Feng Jiu went to Dong Hua's study and wrote him a letter. She placed it on his table. After that she left Tai Chen Palace undetected using her stealth powers. She appeared on Qing Qui region where the battle was at full force. She saw the devastation of her beloved land and got angry.

"Qing Qui you have suffered a great loss. I will avenge you and restore your beauty." Feng Jiu changed her appearance to not get noticed. She joined in the fight killing as many rebels as she could. From a distance she saw her beloved fighting along with the other high deities.

Miao Lou was releasing evil miasma all over Qing Qui to kill everyone and everything in it. Once a prosperous land it was being transformed to a barren place.

The fallen rebel corpses were getting revived by Miao Lou making it difficult to eliminate them for good. Feng Jiu noticed members of her family exerting their cultivation. Her fourth uncle was fighting nonstop. Feng Jiu sensed their anguish, frustration, and rage. Once the rebel army were lured to the centerfield, Mo Yan signaled their hidden forces to attack them from behind.

Yan Chiwu with their demon army appeared on the battleground along with the Kun Lun brothers and surprisingly a vast army of soldiers leaded by Lord Weng Chan. The other part of the celestial army leaded by the first and second princes moved from their vantage points to ambush the rebel army as well.

Nie Chuyin yelled to his army to retreat, but it was too late. Zhe Yan morphed into his phoenix form and burned them all at site.

Miao Lou left them to their demise seeing their situation. She only wanted to kill Dong Hua. Feng Jiu saw Miao Lou moving closer to him, so she closely followed her. Miao Lou summoned several evil ancient monsters to counteract the army attack and distract them from protecting Dong Hua.

Yan Chiwu sensed Feng Jiu's aura, but couldn't pinpoint where she was. He used his tracking powers to locate Feng Jiu. She was getting close to Miao Lou. Yan Chiwu wanted to block her path but his army needed him to fight over the many creatures that Miao Lou gathered.

A fire winged beast began following Feng Jiu to kill her form behind. When it was about to charge Feng Jiu, Lord Weng Chan appeared and strike it down pushing Feng Jiu away from danger. Feng Jiu turned around to see Weng Chan fighting the fire beast. At the same time a shower of arrows came down towards their direction. Feng Jiu rushed to his side to help him out and shield him from the coming projectiles, when suddenly Bai Yi appeared and blocked them out.

However, Bai Yi was hit on his thigh with two arrows and Weng Chan had three of them on his back. Feng Jiu in horror saw how they valiantly kept fighting despite their injures. There was no time to waste. The enemy needed to be eradicated.

Weng Chan after defeating the fire beast collapsed on the ground, fighting to breathe. The arrows were poisonous. Feng Jiu went to his side and pulled them out, but it was too late, the poison already reached his lungs.

"Weng Chan, look at me, stay awake." Feng Jiu desperately told him. Weng Chan recognized her voice. "Lier, is that you?"

"Weng Chan don't talk, I will get help." Feng Jiu said.

Weng Chan pulled her arm. "Please don't leave me here alone Lier."

"Weng Chan you need healing." Feng Jiu placed him on the ground and began to heal his wounds with her powers but it was useless, he wasn't getting any better. When she saw that it was not working, she went to Bai Yi for help.

"Father!!!" Feng Jiu yelled out to Bai Yi.

Bai Yi was slashing a couple of soldiers "Xiao Jiu?? What on earth are you doing here?"

"Father you are injured. Let me tend your injuries." Feng Jiu pointed out to his thigh.

"I'm fine. But you shouldn't be here." Bai Yi replied to her.

"You don't understand. The arrows are poisonous. Lord Weng Chan is down. He needs medical aid quickly." Bai Yi hurriedly rushed to his side.

"Weng Chan!!!! You must stay awake, fight the urge to fall asleep." Bai Yi held him in his arms.

Weng Chan was fighting to breathe "I... can't...the pain is unbearable" Weng Chan was already too pale.

"You must son!!!" Bai Yi was yelling at him with tears in his eyes.

"I'm sorry father...." Weng Chan was coughing out black blood already. "Mother is here calling me."

"Stay with me Weng Chan, stay alive please" Bai Yi was crying holding his dying son in his arms.

"Lier..." Weng Chan weakly called Feng Jiu.

"I'm here Weng Chan. Please save your energy." Weng Chan grabbed Feng Jiu's hand in desperation.

"Lier...I'm glad that I got to see you one last time. You will always be... the queen of my heart. In my next life... let me accompany you..."

"Weng Chan please." Feng Jiu was crying holding his hand.

"Lier... I.... love...you..." Weng Chan closed his eyes and his hand released Feng Jiu's.

"Weng Chan, Weng Chan...NOOOOOO oh not you, my son." Bai Yi shouted in pain.

Feng Jiu tried to console Bai Yi with no avail. "My son, not you too. Please don't leave me, wake up!!!!"

Another round of arrows was shot at their direction. Bai Yi pushed Feng Jiu away and placed a shield over her blocking the arrows. He stayed behind holding Weng Chan body getting hit with the arrows. "FATHER NOOOOOOOO PLEASE!!!!!" Feng Jiu desperately was crying out loud.

Bai Yi looked at Feng Jiu and on his dying breath told her: "I'm sorry daughter please forgive me."

And he succumbed holding Weng Chan. Both of their bodies disappear into dust.

Feng Jiu's anger reached a boiling point. She cried out of pain seeing them died by saving her life. Her hands turned into flames. Feng Jiu's eyes were full of rage. Her core powers manifested, and she morphed into her phoenix form flying high into the sky. Feng Jiu went into a killing spree out of rage and vengeance. Zhe Yan was helping Bai Zhen when he saw a phoenix in the sky burning the enemy and screeching in anguish.

XIAO JIU!!! Zhe Yan mentally called her out.

Dong Hua eyes widen when he saw his Jiu'er destroying everything in her path. He tried to talk to her telepathically, but she was blocking him. He decided to follow her to calm her down when he got hit by Miao Lou. Feng Jiu felt him getting hurt, when she focused her sight, she saw Dong Hua on the ground spitting blood, so she rushed to his side.

"DONG HUA!!!!" Feng Jiu held him. "Dijun are you okay?"

"Jiu'er. Why are you here?" Dong Hua asked her confused.

"This is not the time or the place for an argument. Can you get up?" Dong Hua nodded.

"I'll be fine, but you..."

"I'm fine Dong Hua, don't worry. There is so much evil miasma over Qing Qui there must be a way to purify it."

"I told you that I was going to fight with you Dong Hua." Miao Lou menacely said coming to both of them.

Dong Hua stood and placed Feng Jiu behind him. "You will die today!!!"

"I don't think so, you will beat me to it first Dong Hua." Miao Lou evilly smiled back. Dong Hua's hand began to tremble Miao Lou hit him with poison.

"Dong Hua you've been poisoned." Feng Jiu exclaimed holding his hand in anguish.

"Bai Feng Jiu, I had the pleasure to kill your father and your lover."

"You evil witch, I will make sure that you won't harm anyone else. Today is the day that you will cease to exist." Feng Jiu angrily responded.

Miao Lou laughed out loud mocking Feng Jiu words. "You? I'm free thanks to you. When I finish with you, I will suck all of your remaining life from your body. And I will enjoy killing your loved ones."

"Not if I kill your first" Feng Jiu casted her new sword out.

"Wait your turn xiǎo húlí, your husband will die first." Miao Lou sent her poisonous web towards Dong Hua, but Feng Jiu blocked it with her sword.

Dong Hua was getting weaker due to the poison. "JIU'ER NOOO!!!" He shouted after seeing her engaging into a fight with Miao Lou. Feng Jiu charged back towards Miao Lou. She was fast. Feng Jiu was able to hit Miao Lou wrist with her sword staining it with her blood, but it was not enough. She needed more of her blood.

"Beginner's luck xiǎo húlí. You will not be so lucky next time." Miao Lou multiply herself into 20 and began attacking her. Feng Jiu quickly took Dong Hua's sword and did the same. She sent Cang He to attack Miao Lou's illusions defeating them all. Cang He returned to her hand. Miao Lou's eyes widen, she never had seen another immortal handling Dong Hua's sword before. Dong Hua produced a seal in his hand to purify the evil miasma that Miao Lou was releasing. Miao Lou tried again to attack Dong Hua, but Feng Jiu blocked her attack again.

"You won't go near him. I won't let you monster." Feng Jiu protectively stand in front of Dong Hua shielding him.

"You think that you can defeat me xiǎo húlí?" Miao Lou sarcastically asked Feng Jiu.

"We will defeat you together." Mo Yan appeared to the scene along with Ye Hua, Zhe Yan, Bai Zhi, Lian Song and Yan Chiwu. The rest of the army was behind them surrounding Miao Lou.

"You won't escape your death now. Qing Qui and all the realms will be avenged today." Feng Jiu said.

All of the high deities released energy beams towards Miao Lou to bind her. Feng Jiu saw the opportunity and buried her sword into Miao Lou's heart. Feng Jiu felt a pang on her chest but continued with the incantation to seal Miao Lou's soul. After she finished the spell, she realized that Miao Lou managed to hurt her too.

"You will pay with your life xiǎo húlí, you are going down with me." Miao Lou told her. Then she started to scream feeling her soul being detached from her body and getting it sealed up on Feng Jiu's sword. Feng Jiu removed her sword from Miao Lou's chest. She felt blood running out from her chest. She knew it was from her heart. Feng Jiu placed her hand on her sword smearing it with her blood to finish the sealing ritual. Miao Lou's body disappeared into the sword.

After sealing the evil monster away, Feng Jiu collapsed on the ground and Dong Hua held her in his arms. Feng Jiu was bleeding profusely. Dong Hua put his hand and apply pressure to her wound. Zhe Yan rushed to their side. "Xiao Jiu darling, speak to me."

"Jiu'er, Jiu'er don't close your eyes." Dong Hua was pleading with her.

"Dong Hua let me tend to her, I need to stop the bleeding. You need help too." But Dong Hua was hesitant to let her go. "Dong Hua please, let her go."

"NO I WONT LET JIU'ER GO" Dong Hua angrily replied to Zhe Yan.

"Dong Hua...." Feng Jiu faintly called out his name. "I'm afraid... I have to go for a while my love...

NO JIU'ER YOU CAN'T, I WON'T LET YOU. YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME...his voice was quivering. Tears were coming down his face. YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME JIU'ER!!!!

"Jiu'er don't talk, save your strength my love please." Dong Hua was pale already, he fought to stay awake. The poison was quickly running thru his body.

"Dong Hua I need to save them. Please let me tend her" Zhe Yan begged Dong Hua.

Mo Yan got next to Dong Hua. "Brother time is running, let Zhe Yan save her. You need tending too. Let me treat you, I need to defuse the poison from your body." Dong Hua was torn, he didn't want to let no one near her, but he knew she needed help. "SAVE HER ZHE YAN!!!!" He shouted in desperation.

Zhe Yan acted fast and was able to stop the bleeding from her heart. "We need to get them to a safe place and quick." Zhe Yan yelled out.

Ye Hua opened a portal to Nine Heavens, Lian Song and Mo Yan carried Dong Hua and Zhe Yan took Feng Jiu in his arms, they all went thru the portal and reappeared at Tai Chen Palace. Zhong Li saw them coming in and he rushed them into a room for them to treat them. Zhong Li was worried about his masters' conditions.

"Get the medicine king quick Zhong Li." Lian Song ordered him. Minutes later, the medicine king was treating Dong Hua poisoning while Zhe Yan was working on Feng Jiu.

After Dong Hua was out of danger, Mo Yan took over to stabilize his chi. He made sure that all of the poison was out of his body. "Brother, you need to rest. You're still weak."

"I need to see my wife." Dong Hua persistently responded.

"Zhe Yan is doing what he's good at. Let him finish first." Mo Yan interjected. Dong Hua didn't listen to Mo Yan and went over to see his little fox. "Zhe Yan how is she?"

"Xiao Jiu is in deep sleep to heal her injury. Miao Lou stabbed her heart deep. She lost too much blood sealing that monster, she could have died Dong Hua."

"My brave little fox. How is the baby?" Dong Hua caressed her face.

Zhe Yan breathed in deep. "I couldn't... sense the baby activity Dong Hua, I'm sorry." Zhe Yan sadly replied.

Dong Hua remained quiet. He inclined his head in total grief holding back his tears and anger. He left the room and walked away in deep pain. Mo Yan has never seen him like that.

"Zhe Yan did I heard correctly? Feng Jiu was pregnant?" Mo Yan asked him.

"Yes. Her pregnancy was hidden precisely because of this. Dong Hua is going to need all of the support he will allow us to give him. I will suggest that you stay near by just in case we need to intervene on his behalf. We don't know his current mental state." Zhe Yan sadly told Mo Yan.

"How are you holding up Zhe Yan? I know Feng Jiu is important to you too." Mo Yan placed his hand on Zhe Yan's shoulder.

"I haven't got the chance to process all of it yet, so I will do my best to take care of Xiao Jiu and nurture her health. After that, I honestly can't tell you Mo Yan. I need to be strong for her."

"I'm here for you too, please now that."

"I know Mo Yan, thanks."

"I'll be back, I need to purify Qing Qui from all the evil miasma that Miao Lou left behind. Plus we need to manage the crisis relief for all war victims. There is too much to be done. Please keep me inform on Dong Hua's condition. I worry about him too. Let me know if you need anything."

"Thank you Mo Yan, go in peace, I'll handle things around here."

Dong Hua went to his study absently minded. He was still weak and needed to recuperate, but the pain, anger and grief were clouding his emotions. He didn't know how to process it all. Dong Hua sat on his bais not noticing the letter that Feng Jiu wrote him. He was replaying in his mind the last conversation he had with his beloved before she lost consciousness.

"Promise me that you will take care of our baby. The baby is safe.... Dong Hua, the baby is safe..." How is the baby safe if Zhe Yan can't detect it alive? He was pondering. Perhaps she hid the baby well that even Zhe Yan can't figure it out. Dong Hua heavily sighed, his eyes fell upon a letter on his table.

"What's this?" Dong Hua opened the letter and read it.

Dong Hua my love, I hope that one day you can forgive me for what I've done. I couldn't let you sacrifice your life again. I've vowed to be with you even until death. Fortunately, you don't have to visit that realm ever, but in case I had to pay a visit, please know that my actions weren't careless or reckless. I'm fully aware about the risks that I'm imposing on our child, but this is the only way that I can fulfill my role along your side. I'm not complete in this universe without you, my love. Before you loose hope in me, please know that I love you unconditionally and irrevocably for all lifetimes and if I have to do this again, I will do it to save you, and save our child. Our baby is in a safe place. I created a safe environment for our baby to thrive while I'm away. The baby is alive and well hidden inside my mother's womb. She's unaware of it. It was a complex decision that I made in order to share your burden on keeping peace in the universe, as your equal. My only regret is that I won't see you for a while, but please wait for my return, wait for your little fox. In the meantime, take good care of mother and our baby. I love you my Dijun.

"Jiu'er you never fail to amaze me my little fox." He quickly left to see Zhe Yan. When he saw Dong Hua entering the room, Zhe Yan was confused to see his mood changed.

"How are you feeling Dong Hua?" Zhe Yan asked him concerned.

"Where is Feng Jiu's mother?" Dong Hua eagerly asked him

"I have no idea, why?"

"Read this Zhe Yan" Dong Hua gave him Feng Jiu's letter. Zhe Yan quickly read it.

"What???? How did she managed to do this?" Zhe Yan surprised asked.

"I don't know either, but there is hope, we need to find her mother now."
