Morning time came on Zhe Yan's peach blossoms orchard...

Dong Hua opened his eyes and realized that he was alone in bed. He got up to locate his beloved fox. She was doing her morning Tai Chi routine. "I overslept. Why she didn't wake me up?" He thought.

Feng Jiu sensed his presence nearby and decided to stop her routine and go to him. "Husband! How are you feeling?" Feng Jiu took his hands and secretly began to scanned his cultivation. Dong Hua noticed. "She thinks she can outsmart me" He mischievously thought.

"I feel refreshed Jiu'er, but why you didn't wake me up?" Dong Hua curiously asked.

"You needed to rest Dong Hua so as your good wife I let you sleep more." Feng Jiu sweetly smiled at him. Her disarming sweet smile. Dong Hua couldn't resist her charms. "Jiu'er you are so good to me." He caressed her nose bridge.

"Come, I made you breakfast." She grabbed his arm and dragged him to Zhe Yan's small kitchen. She sat him down and placed a bowl of porridge in front of him. Then she sat down and began to feed him. "I made you this special porridge just for you Dong Hua, do you like it?" Feng Jiu excitedly asked him.

"Hmm is so delicious just like everything else that you cook for me." He was carefully staring at her.

"Now be a good husband and finish it all. Nothing should go to waste. Here let me help you." Feng Jiu gladly hold the spoon for him.

Dong Hua sensed that she was worrying about him. Her eyes gave her away. He read her like a scroll. Feng Jiu couldn't hide her concern for his health. He didn't want to make the same mistake as before when she told him that his cultivation changed. Dong Hua wanted to keep his little fox happy but knew that she was worrying for him more than usual. He let her feed him, he enjoyed that type of attention. She finished feeding him and felt content that he ate all of the special dish she whipped for him.

"Later on, I will make you a nurturing soup. You will love it!" Feng Jiu giggled at him. She got up to clear the dish away but Dong Hua pulled her close to him. "Jiu'er come here little fox."

"What is it Dong Hua?" Feng Jiu creased her brows.

"You know that I'm okay, right?" He sensibly said. Feng Jiu stared at his beautiful black stone eyes mesmerized on the tenderness they were projecting. She was able to see that his dark circles under his eyes and his signs of aging were gone. His skin was back to his luminesce shine. His ethereal looks were fully restored and were enough to cause her to forget to breathe. She was lost in his handsome face.

"Jiu'er breathe my love. I can't let you die on me" He smirked.

Feng Jiu shook her head to wake up from her trance. "Dong Hua, I want to make sure that your health is okay. Please don't hide anything from me. I worry about you. I've noticed that your body is regressing for some reason. You've been stressed more than usual and you had used a great amount of your cultivation on multiple occasions lately without recovering. You need time to recuperate. You haven't done so. I need to set up some boundaries for your own good. I'm your wife and if you neglect to take care of yourself then I will do for you like it or not. Many times, you are the one that is on my case on the same subject and here you are disregarding your own self. This won't do husband. Please understand my concern. I'm not exerting my will over you. I can't let you deplete your powers. You might the be the almighty Dong Hua Dijun, but for a prevailing reason I'm by your side now. If anything happens to you and some future disaster come, how do you plan to resolve it without your full powers? I want my husband to last for many lifetimes as possible. I get that you have never had anyone taking care of you, and that you manage to do things by yourself in the past, but your present situation is different. You have me now, and I won't stand by your side and do nothing. I rather risk your wrath than let you sacrifice yourself. I won't like for you to go into seclusion for thousands of years and separate from me because you failed to take care of yourself now when you should." Feng Jiu scolded him.

"Little fox..." Dong Hua raised his famous eyebrow to her.

"No Dong Hua I won't budge on this. I love you more than my own life. If you die, I will follow. And now we have too much to do to let death come between us. No sir, I won't allow it. You are the most important person to me Dong Hua. Let me take care of you. You promised me that you will try to make our marriage work. I understand that it takes a great effort from you to relinquish and delegate, but when it comes to your health, I will go against even you if I have to as your empress, mate and equal. It's my right and I will do it. I just want you to be okay, I'm not a fool and you can't trick me." Feng Jiu looked him straight into his eyes.

Dong Hua internally smiled and gave in. "Okay Jiu'er you win. I will let you take care of me. But..."

"NO buts Dong Hua, I will be discreet about it. Nobody will know don't worry." Feng Jiu hugged him. Dong Hua smiled at his little fox. He wandered is she was able to read his mind.

"My love, you know your body better than me, I will ask you to show me how to replenish your cultivation in a safe way. Your experience is valuable to me and I want you to teach me. Know that with my ascension and transformation my powers and skills have greatly improved. As your mate I want to share my powers with you just like have done with me. You can count on me for this. Nobody needs to know it. Just you and me Dong Hua. I have to learn as a phoenix what I'm capable of. That is where di die will come into place. He can teach me being a phoenix himself. There is much that I don't know that he can teach me, so I can stabilize you. Would you consider it?" She sincerely asked.

Dong Hua solemnly stare Feng Jiu's pleading face. "My lovely and caring wife it seems to me that you have been thinking about this for quite some time. I'm amazed that you are willing to learn how to properly take care of my health to fulfill our duties as rulers. This will not be an easy task but I'm willing to teach you my secrets so your powers mature as well. You are right, I'm so used to take care of my little fox that is not easy for me to delegate this important task as my wife, empress, mate and equal. Your father will be of great help to assist you on your growth as a phoenix. I'm also curious to know too how powerful you are. Don't be mad at me for being slow little fox."

"I'm not mad at you Dong Hua, just worried. I'm glad that you will agree with me to take care of you. Is my most important task at hand. I love you my Dong Hua Dijun." She hugged him tight.

"And I love you Jiu'er" Feng Jiu pouted at him. "Sorry. I love you my mischievous little fox" Feng Jiu grinned at him. "Much better" She giggled. "You are too handsome husband. I need to hide you away for your own good." She playfully told him.

Dong Hua chuckled at her comment. "I don't mind being hidden as long as you hide away with me." He seductively whispered to her face. His alluring breath made Feng Jiu's eyes to flutter and her cheeks flushed. She was getting heated.

"Oh?" Dong Hua smiled and raised his eyebrow. He pulled her body close to his and she was able to feel his excitement. Her breathing became uneven. Feng Jiu closed her eyes and her mouth salivated. Her hormones were betraying her resolve. She felt warmth rising in between her legs. Her lucidness was breaking. Dong Hua was caressing her back and nibbling her earlobe. "You look so irresistible my insatiable little fox. Your scent is exquisite and is driving me insane." Wave after wave of desire her body was receiving from his voice. Dong Hua's breath hitched. He loudly growled and grabbed her pulling her body close to him. They disappeared from Zhe Yan's kitchen and appeared at their palace bedchambers.

"I like it when you are naughty little fox. Show me how you are going to extinguish my fire." Dong Hua says on his low velvety voice. He proceeded to place a strong privacy shield around their bedchambers.

"I live to please you husband. Let me take care of you now. Let my love calm you." Feng Jiu was caressing and kissing his body while disrobing him. Her kisses ignited his senses. Her little hands were working him hard. Dong Hua arousal was rigid. He was about to explode. She could feel it pulsing. Feng Jiu took hold of him in her hand and squeezed it tightly, pushing her hand back to amplify pleasure. Dong Hua loudly groaned and tensed, his breath hisses through his clenched teeth. Very cautiously, Feng Jiu put him in her mouth and began her oral ministration.

Dong Hua cupped her head tenderly caressing her hair, Feng Jiu pushed him deeper into her mouth, pressing her lips together as tightly as she could, sheathing her teeth, and sucking hard. She was his undoing. Feng Jiu continue her ministration breaking his will.

"Jiu'er please stop I can't hold it any longer, I need you". But Feng Jiu continued with her delicious torture. She wanted to hear him scream. Dong Hua couldn't resist any more; he pulled it out from her mouth. "I want you now little fox" His lusty tone prepared her with anticipation. He bended over and slowly crawled up and over Feng Jiu, kissing her madly sucking the air from her lungs. He then proceeded to kiss each of her breasts and teased her nipples in turn, while Feng Jiu groaned and writhed beneath him, Dong Hua didn't stop. "Come on, little fox, give it to me." His words are her undoing, Feng Jiu exploded, magnificently, mind-numbingly, into a million pieces around Dong Hua, and he follows calling out her name. "Jiu'er! Oh my sweet little fox!" He collapses on top of her, burying his head on her neck.

"You. Are. Mine," Dong Hua snarls, emphasizing each word. "Do you know how much you mean to me?" he breathes against her ear.

"No," Feng Jiu sweetly gasped.

Dong Hua wickedly smiled against her neck, and his fingers curl around her jaw and throat, holding Feng Jiu fast for a moment. "Yes, you do. I'm not finished with you yet little fox."

Feng Jiu groaned as he picks up speed. "You are mine, Jiu'er, my sweet little fox, my naughty empress"

"Yes, husband, only yours" Feng Jiu panted.

"I take care of what's mine," he hisses playfully nibbling her ear. Feng Jiu cried out.

"That's right, little fox, I want to hear you." He snakes one hand around her waist while his other hand grasps her hip, and he pushes into her harder, making Feng Jiu cry out again. And the punishing rhythm starts. His breathing grows harsher and harsher, ragged, matching Feng Jiu's.

Feng Jiu felt it, the pull-the electricity between them-tangible, drawing them together. Suddenly he grabs Feng Jiu and pushes her up, his mouth on hers, claiming her hungrily, one hand on her behind pressing her to his groin and the other in the nape of Feng Jiu's hair, tugging her head back. Placing her on top of him. Feng Jiu's fingers are in his hair, twisting hard, holding him. He grinds his body into Feng Jiu's, imprisoning her, his breathing ragged. Feng Jiu feels him. "He wants me, and I'm heady and reeling with excitement as I acknowledge his need for me." Feng Jiu mentally said.

"You intoxicate me, Jiu'er, and you calm me. Such a heady combination." He kisses her hard. He groans, a low sexy sound in the back of his throat that reverberates through her, and his hand moves down her body to the top of her thigh, his fingers digging into her flesh. "I can't get enough of you little fox. I like it this way" he murmurs. Dong Hua leans over, his hands move up to her breasts, and he palms them both, tugging gently on Feng Jiu's nipples. She groans, tossing her head back against his shoulder. He nuzzles her neck, biting down, as he flexes his hips, deliciously slowly, filling Feng Jiu again and again.

"Let's soar together little fox" Dong Hua said.

Feng Jiu started to work him out. She was close "I love you Dong Hua" Feng Jiu screamed his name over and over, reaching her climax.

"Wait for me little fox." Dong Hua exploded inside her again "Jiu'er you are my heaven, feel me, I'm here my love"

After their ecstasy was gone, they opened their eyes to contemplate each other's faces. They were still connected. Staring at each other, drinking each other in. "My shameless husband. Is your fire extinguished now?" Feng Jiu nuzzled her nose into his.

"I really missed you." He nuzzled his nose on hers.

"I missed you too Dong Hua. You are getting rougher" She tenderly caressed his face.

"I thought you liked it. Did I hurt you?" Dong Hua creased his brows.

"No you didn't. But it feels different." Feng Jiu's cheeks flushed.

"Different bad or different good?" He sensually asked.

"Different really good" Feng Jiu exhaled.

"And you call me shameless" Dong Hua seductively said to her lips. He knew she wanted him again.

"I'm learning from the best" Feng Jiu responded. She softly kissed his lips. Feng Jiu bite his lower lip and Dong Hua groaned softly getting stimulated by her kisses.

"My insatiable little fox you are asking for it again." Dong Hua breathed hard.

"What if I am?" She sensually responded.

"Then you shall have it. But this time let's go and take a bath, we will continue there." Dong Hua replied in his raspy voice. Dong Hua transported them to their bath chambers. He filled the tub with hot water and placed aromatic oils. He knew which scents his beloved fox liked.

"It smells really good here husband."

"Do you like it?"

"Very much, thank you."

Dong Hua was eyeing her body, he was scanning her health. "My young wife. You are so beautiful Jiu'er. Everything about you centers into exquisiteness. You have great legs"

"My legs? They are full of scars Dong Hua." She innocently replied.

Dong Hua smiled at her realization. "Your legs are strong and fit just like the rest of your body little fox. I love it. I'm addicted to you."

Suddenly, he reaches for her, backing her up against the bathroom wall. Kissing her face, throat, lips...running his hands into Feng Jiu's hair with so much need and wanting. She feels his cool, smooth wicked tongue caressing her body. She was panting.

Feng Jiu responded and wrapped her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck, and he moves quickly and sharply, filling her up again. Ah! He gasps, and Feng Jiu groaned. Holding her behind, his fingers digging into her soft flesh, he begins to move, slowly at first - a steady even tempo... but as his control unravels, he speeds up... faster, and faster. Ahhh! Feng Jiu tip her head back and concentrated on the invading, punishing, heavenly sensation... pushing her, pushing her... onward, higher, up... and when she can take no more, Feng Jiu exploded around him, spiraling into an intense, all-consuming orgasm. He lets go with a deep growl, and he buries his head in her neck as he buries himself inside her, groaning loudly and incoherently as he finds his release. Dong Hua's breathing is erratic, but he kisses her tenderly, not moving, still inside Feng Jiu, as she blinks, unseeing into his eyes. "You were not kidding when you said that you were like a raging inferno." Feng Jiu said to him.

"More than that Jiu'er, it was more than liking. You don't fail to please me little fox. We have grown together as lovers and I'm privileged to discover this phase with you. "Let me show it you." Feng Jiu placed her hand on his temple. Dong Hua closed his eyes and Feng Jiu mentally showed him what she meant.

"Since when you learned to do that?" Dong Hua's eyes widen.

"I recently discovered this capability." Feng Jiu chortled.

"Little fox, this connection that you are referring to is too dangerous to achieve."

"But not impossible. Is the reunion of our halves as a single entity. This is us. I know is the one we lack. It was shown to me when I went thru my transformation".

"Who showed you this?"

"Whoever pulled me thru the interdimensional portal."

"I've never seen this done before."

"It is because we are one of a kind Dong Hua. Are you afraid that we are not successful?"

"Is not that. I don't know what type of harm I can cause you Jiu'er. I will not forgive myself if I do."

"This is the connection that we need to have in order to fulfill our roles in the universe. This is more than you and me Dong Hua is more to cap our fate that was predestined. No matter what we face in the future, we still have to go thru it."

"How sure you are of it?"

"Trust me husband, I'm certain about it. I've seen it happening."

"You've seen it?" Dong Hua incredulously asked.

"Yes, is another of my gifts." Feng Jiu lowered her head.

"You are full of surprises little fox." Dong Hua pulled her chin so she can meet his gaze.

"Trust me on this Dong Hua." Feng Jiu stared him with her big doe eyes. She was being sincere wit him. Dong Hua could see it.

"I trust you Jiu'er. When do you want to attempt this connection?"

"Now."

"All right, let's finish here then." After they finished their bath and dried themselves, they returned to their bedchambers.

"Where do we need to go Jiu'er?"

"I need to open a portal first." She made some ancient hand seals movements and summoned a portal in front of them. "Come let's go" Feng Jiu grabbed his hand and entered the gateway. Dong Hua was impressed that his little fox was capable of using this type of magic. He wondered how much she knew and kept it hidden. He followed her. They entered the Cosmic Taixu. They were standing on a vast space.

"Isn't this beautiful Dong Hua? We can actually see the stars up close." She giggled.

"Is magnificent." Dong Hua was pensive. She was showing him another side of her powerful persona. "My little fox, is not so little anymore." He mentally said.

Feng Jiu heard his thoughts and absently smiled not showing him other of her capabilities, read his mind. "Dong Hua I want to attempt our connection here where is safe."

"Okay, lead me in then."

"You are well aware that my natural element is fire. And as you know fire can serve as a purify agent or an instrument of devastation. The element of fire has great power for forging will and determination. Fire is both creative and destructive, its qualities are brightness, thinness and motion and its mode is active. It fuels our passions. Fire, unlike the other elements, does not exist in a natural state. Its physical form can only take place by consuming some other element. Fire is the transformer, converting the energy of other objects into other forms: heat, light, ash, and smoke. Its aspects being change, passion, creativity, motivation, will power, drive and sensuality. It is sexuality, both physical and spiritual. Fire is used in spells, rituals and candle magic for healing, purification, sex, breaking bad habits or destroying illness and disease. Fire is the element of authority and leadership. The properties of fire, heat, making things fruitful, celestial light, giving life to all things. Its opposite the parching heat, consuming all things and darkness, making all things barren. Is a light, active element and is contrary to water. It is associated with the qualities of brightness, thinness and motion. My primordial spirit is related to fire.

Dong Hua replied to her; "My natural element is water. As you know I was born from the Holy Deep Blue Sea. Water is a cleansing, healing, psychic, element. It is the feeling that supports us, when we are thirsty, it is water the quenches our thirst, another manifestation is the rainstorms that drench us, or the dew formed on plants after the sun has set. The power of the energy of water, can be felt by tasting pure spring water, moving from a hand through a stream, lake, pool, or bowl full of water. You can feel its cool liquidity; it's soft and caring touch, this motion and fluidity is the quality of air within water. As well as being vital for life, within the energy of this element is contained the essence of underlying reason for all magic. Water is also the element of emotion and subconscious, of purification, intuition, mysteries of the self, compassion. It is psychic ability; water can be used as a means of scrying or as an object for meditation. Water is important in spells and rituals of friendship, marriage, happiness, fertility, healing, pleasure, psychic abilities and spells involving mirrors. The element of water is a heavy, passive element and is contrary to fire. It is associated with the qualities of darkness, thickness and motion. My primeval spirit was forged in water.

"Our primal elements are contrary to each other. These two elements must be careful when interacting; since water can put out fire, but if the fire is large enough, it can dry up water completely. Water can provide sensitivity and patience to my fiery counterpart, whereas fire can provide motivation and the courage to act that the water sign usually lacks. In order for this connection to work, Fire and Water need to have a great deal of respect because each has the capability to destroy the other. That is the why we need to avoid any further scenarios and misunderstandings so that our relationship won't suffer" Feng Jiu explained.

"I wasn't aware of you being knowledgeable of the spirituality of the elements little fox."

"I did paid attention to my laoshi when he taught me this Dong Hua. Now listen. I will create the purest glass fire flame on my hand, and you will summon the purest water on yours. We own a great measure of power Dong Hua, specially you. We will pair our elements to start our connection and transfer our harmonious energy, but it needs to be done very carefully so we don't damage our cultivations. After that, our primal spirits will finish the linkage.

"All right Jiu'er, let's start" Dong Hua summoned the purest crystal water in his hand. And Feng Jiu created the purest glass fire flame. They placed their hands next to each other. Dong Hua's hand on top and Feng Jiu's hand on the bottom. After that they recited: "my element is a vessel of transformation and will submit to my counterpart to build a harmonious energy to purify, create, renovate and balance ourselves and the universe. We build this connection as an act of love, submission and duty."

The water and the fire in their hands formed a feng shui symbol. The image grew wider and wider until expanded to the vast space. Their primal spirts were summoned as they approached the symbol their spirits interlocked themselves and connected fluidly. Dong Hua was able to feel his connection with Feng Jiu's fire element and she was able to feel his water element. The sign grew in size and power. It started to rotate. Dong Hua and Feng Jiu were holding strong the connection. They fused as one until it integrated with the universe.

When they opened their eyes, they were on the ground at the beautiful hill that Feng Jiu was after her ascension trial.

"We made it Dong Hua. Are you all right?" Feng Jiu asked him.

"I'm fine, how about you?" Dong Hua looked over her to make sure she was fine.

"I'm okay Dong Hua don't worry."

"Where are we Jiu'er?"

"You'll see, come let's go. Someone is waiting for us." Feng Jiu got up and proceeded to walk the garden path. Dong Hua got up and followed his little fox to the beautiful house on the hill that was surrounded by a lotus pond. "Is so serene here." He thought. Dong Hua senses a powerful aura inside the house.

Feng Jiu directed Dong Hua to follow her inside. They stood in front of the same entity that helped her before. The powerful entity appeared to them.

"Golden Immortal Da Lou." Dong Hua greeted her. He was surprised.

"Dong Hua Shaoyan Dijun. I've been expecting you. Feng Huang, I see that you figured out what you needed to do. I'm proud of you." She smiled to Feng Jiu.

"Feng Huang greets Golden Immortal Da Lou. Please forgive me when I didn't recognize your eminence before and referred you by the wrong name." Feng Jiu bowed to her.

"No need to apologize Feng Huang. Please get up."

"What are we doing here Da Lou?" Dong Hua curiously asked.

"Dong Hua Dijun you still don't realize who is standing next to you?"
