Chapter 7: Principal's Office

Jonas was spending his time at the Principal's office. It was out of expectation that he would be back here again so soon. But he wasn't just the only student spending his time waiting for his family.

Together with him was the boy who defied him (Damian Wayne) and his lackey #1. Though he should stop calling him lackey #1 in his mind before he slips up. Also, there was his girl classmate Rosalie who wouldn't still stop crying until now.

Currently, in his palms was Uttu who was docile and staying still. Jonas was making sure that she was doing alright.

After Luke insulted both of Damian Wayne's mother and father, Damian refuse to remain standing and decided to attack Luke Avery. As an unconscious reaction, Luke decided to pick up his box and throw it to Damian to retaliate, and the latter brushes it off to the side then it causes Uttu to fly in the air and land and cling to Rosalie's clothes.

When she noticed the spider landing on her clothes, she shrieked and the other students also followed shrieking in fear.

Jonas couldn't just watch the chaos and decided to intervene if he doesn't want Uttu to die. He ignores Damian going feral who has the murderous intent to kill Duke.

Thankfully, their History Teacher arrived before everything turns to get worse. And then they were sent to the Principal's office. But Luke and Damian were sent first to the Academy's clinic before heading here to the Principal's office.

Luke winced when he carefully feel his bruised right cheek. There were tears in his eyes. Opposite of him and distant away from him was Damian. Beside Damian was Rosalie who was still crying in her seat. Jonas was seating beside Luke.

" .. Why.. bring. Spider? "

Luke muttered as he stared at Jonas who was looking fondly at his pet Spider. He decided to distance his chair away from Jonas just a 'little bit'.

Jonas smiled at his friend and answered.

" I just want her to introduce you guys. Isn't she a very sweet girl? Though she was a little bit clingy. "

After saying the word clingy, Luke stared at Jonas with an incredulous expression on his face.

" ..Clingy?! "

" Yup! "

Jonas replied cheerily and asked.

" Do you want to hold her? She like touches. "

"Uh, no thanks, Dude. "

" If you say so. Your loss. "

Jonas then decided to keep being affectionate to Uttu. Cooing and talking to her from time to time. As time passed, Luke grow more and more disturbed by his behavior and Rosalie didn't stop crying in fear.

On the other hand, Damian is unaffected and chooses to keep quiet but Jonas notices that he was observing him which is a little bit odd.

He should be the one being creepy with his stare since he doesn't blink anymore. But the way that Damian was staring at him, it was like he was being assessed and judged by a predator.

Thank you for the information Eye Fear God. But completely unnecessary. He was better off not knowing this information at all.

But it was reasonable that Damian isn't afraid of Uttu since he was a murderer. Normal children are afraid of spiders. But Damian doesn't belong in the category. He was a little killer literally since he was the shortest among in their class.

Through it was because Damian is 10 years old among the group of 11 or 12-year-old kids. Very smart which wasn't a normal kid behavior.

Later, as Jonas feeds off the fear of his two classmates, the Archivist System informed him that he has collected a 10% fear amount relating to the web so that he could unlock his Web Patron.

He just needed 90% more and to conduct a ritual relating to the Web before he can unlock his Patron God.

During the chaos that happened in their classroom, Jonas fed off of their fear, and at that time his Eye Fear God decided to bless him with two new abilities.

[ Archive → store any information and knowledge permanently in your mind ]

[ CCTV control → manipulate any CCTV within your sight. Also allows you to see a CCTV perspective and collect any information gathered or recorded on CCTV. ]

The Archive was a very useful ability that he can use in his daily life. The CCTV control on the other hand is very specific and wouldn't be used in normal situations.

But it was useful for gathering information and spying.

Since gathering information for the past few days, Jonas had pondered. This a world of super-powered beings. There are a lot of Heroes and Villains that exist in this world. Other than eating fears, unlocking his fear gods, and solving the mystery of the death of the Original Jonas Cane, he doesn't have any other goals.

He wondered if he should be a Hero. (or a villain- but there are too many of those in this world)

Eventually, the door to the Principal's office opened. The Principal returned with the others guardians in tow. Possibly Luke and Rosalie's parents.

Jonas frowned when he saw the last person. It also seems that his parents would be a little late maybe they were stuck in traffic.

Seeing the last person that came, Jonas notice Damian reacting a little.

' He must be Damian's guardian. '

Observing the guardian, he can't possibly be the infamous Mr. Bruce Wayne. The person was too young according to his parent's description of the infamous Bruce Wayne.

The Principal then informed the other parents.

" Mrs. Cane would arrive later. She informed me that she was stuck in traffic that was because of a villain. "

Jonas frowned when he heard it. The Principal notice Jonas's frown and assured him.

" Don't worry Jonas, the Villain was already taken care of by the vigilante Ragman. "

If Jonas has already had a good impression of Ragman before, now it went up notches higher.

Jonas was relieved to find that his mother was safe.

The Principal then gestured toward the Parents or in Damian's Case, the guardian. ( Damian's guardian was too young to be his father )

" Mrs. Avery, Mr. Hampton, and Mr. Grayson please take a seat. "
