Together. - Liam Imagine

A/N: Sorry for posting so randomly in this book! I just like to write some occasionally :-)

"You're a what!?" You whisper-yelled as you sat by your open window.

Liam, your boyfriend of 2 years, sat on the opposite side, on your house's roof.

"I told you you wouldn't believe me!" He began to raise his voice so you reach over, placing your hand over his mouth.

"Shh," You hiss. "If we wake up my parents were both dead. Now, why did you wake me up at midnight to tell me some stupid joke?"

"I'm not kidding!" He sighed once you removed your hand. "I can show you if you want... I think."

"Okay then, show me the claws!" You mumble sarcastically, rolling your eyes.

Liam raised his hand and closed his eyes, focusing immensely. You kept watching him, half expecting something to happen, but when nothing does Liam opens his eyes and sighs.

"I... I haven't really figured out how to get my claws out on demand just yet." He says, holding his hand up to his face and looking at it as if he were studying it.

"Liam c'mon," You groaned. "Its a school night. I should be asleep. Hurry up and show me something or go away!"

Frustration, or anger, (you couldn't really tell) began to bubble inside of him and he held his hand out flat again. He closed his eyes and scrunched up his fingers before flicking them back out again then there they were.

Long claws made their way out of Liam's fingers. He looked up to you, smiling. But you didn't smile back.

Pure horror over took your features and you moved away from the window, mumbling incoherent words. Liams smile faded as he attempted to climb through the window but you shook your head.

"I-please, stop. S-stay there." You were unable to put together proper sentences. As much as you trusted him right now, a part of you was utterly terrified.

He ignored you and climbed through the window. He took a step towards you, but you shook your head again.

"Stay there." You repeated.

"They're gone." He says, showing you his hands. You nodded slightly and he made his way over to you, sitting down in front of you.

"I realize that this must be a weird-scary-thing for you to have to process, but I barely know anything about it myself. We can get through this together."

"Are there any others?" You question, looking up and finally letting your eyes land on his.

"A few." He nods and you look back down at your hands that were resting in your lap. Suddenly, you feel his warm fingers place themselves under your chin, lifting it so your eyes meet his again.

"Together?" He whispers.

"Together." You whisper back, pressing your lips to his.
