The Night of Halloween

A/n: This one isn't boy-specific, just a general friends getting together to mess about on Halloween type of one!

Happy Halloween friends! x

Halloween with the pack proved to never be a wasted night.

For the past few years you and your group of friends usually met up on the afternoon of Halloween and decided what to do then. Though, this year Lydia had come up with a plan.

She instructed all of you to dress up in your best costumes and arrive at her house at four. You all did as you were told, the group meeting at hers and she sat everyone down and explained her little plan for the night.

"First, we're going trick or treating. Though, this is a game. The goal is to collect as much candy as possible. Its everyone for themselves and you'll have an hour. You'll be able to leave at five and meet back here at six. Whoever has the most candy at the end will win."

When the clock struck five, everyone was rushing out of Lydia's house. Seeing Stiles trip on the front lawn as he ran almost had you crying of laughter, though you were quick to regain yourself and pick a house.

Everyone was rushing to houses like mad men, collecting as much candy as they could until six. Once time was up everyone gathered back at Lydia's house and Lydia began to count everyone's candy.

Scott won, though everyone claimed that he was using his supernatural abilities to run faster to houses. He denied, of course, so Lydia still let him be the winner.

"Do I win anything?" Scott asked.

Lydia smiled, handing him back his bag, "Yeah, the candy you collected. Congratulations!"

Scott frowned, and you all couldn't help but laugh at his disappointment.

"Next, I found out there was a haunted house in town so we're going to be going to that!"

Everyone piled into Stiles and Lydia's cars, and the journey to the haunted house was underway. It couldn't have even been ten minutes later when you all arrived, hopping out of the cars and making your way toward the entry.

The sound of people screaming in the distance had you on edge, though there was no doubt that you were excited. At least you thought you were right up until you were finally ushered into the dark room behind your friends.

At first you walked down a never ending hallway in pitch black, your eyes finally adjusting to the darkness just as you reached the end and a guy dressed as what looked like a zombie jumped out in front of you all.

Everyone screamed, jumping back slightly. You shut your eyes tightly until the guy moved away, allowing you all to continue walking. You entered a new room, one that was dimly lit and you couldn't help but let out a huff of laughter at the sound of Liam chanting "Oh my God, oh my God..." in hushed mumbles behind you.

Stiles had a hold of your shoulders, pushing you in front of him and further into the room until someone dressed as only what you could describe as a demon came running right at you screaming at the top of their lungs.

You let out a scream too, turning in Stiles' hold and pushing past your friends until you were safely behind your group of friends.

"You're an ass, Stiles." You grumbled, staying by Lydia's side. Stiles let out a little laugh at your comment, though he soon stopped when someone jumped out in front of him again.

After at least ten minutes of being in the haunted house, you all finally made it to the end. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief once they finally made it back outside.

"I can deal with werewolves and werecoyotes and banshees," Stiles mumbled, still trying to regain himself. "But ghosts... and zombies and demons? No thanks."

Everyone laughed, agreeing with his comment. You thought you'd gotten used to the supernatural, but it would seem that you had been mistaken.

"Lastly, something a lot more tame. I thought we could all go back to mine and watch horror movies and maybe even eat that candy we collected earlier."

Everyone was thankful to be back under the safe roof of Lydia's house, even if they had to be faced with the horror's on her TV screen. It was better than them running at you screaming.

Once everyone was settled in somewhere amongst the mass amounts of blankets and pillows, Liam put Paranormal Activity into the DVD player and settled back with the group. Not even ten minutes in you were hiding behind your pillow, jumping every time something happened on the screen.

You tried to occupy yourself by chewing on a piece of candy, though when Malia reached over and poked your neck, you couldn't help but let out a scream.

"That's it!" You declared, standing up. "I'm not watching anymore!"

"Nooo," Scott whined, pulling you down to sit with him on the couch. "You've committed. You've gotta finish it now. Don't worry, I'll protect you!"

You snorted, hitting him lightly on the shoulder, "Shut it, McCall."

Despite not wanting to, you still settled for watching the rest of the movie with Scott closely by your side and Stiles on the other. Truth be told you felt a lot safer between your two friends.

Yeah, Halloween with the pack proved to never be a wasted night.
