As the claps of thunder and flashes of lightening rip you from your deep sleep you jolt up, taking in deep breaths. You hated thunderstorms, a lot. 

You look over at your boyfriend, Isaac, sleeping happily, not being affected by your sudden outburst. 
You sigh, and lay back down. You turn head to look out the window and as a clap of thunder goes off, you jump and gasp slightly, causing Isaac to turn to face you with a worried expression on his face. 

"Whats wrong?" He whispers, complete concern in his glowing eyes. 

"Thunderstorm." You sigh, pulling the covers up to your chin.

"C'mon." He says simply, getting out of the bed and heading towards the door. 

"Where are we going?" You ask, hoping out of bed too and following Isaac down the hall of your shared apartment and into the kitchen. 

"Sit." Isaac instructs, motioning to the couch. 

Confused, you make your way over to the couch and sit down like you were told. Isaac disappears back down the hall for a moment before returning again with the warmest blanket you owned, and your childhood teddy bear that you've had since you were only young. 

You make yourself comfortable as Isaac throws the blanket over you and holding out the teddy bear. You take it from him and he walks back into the kitchen, returning a while later with two warm mugs of hot chocolate made just the way you liked it. 

Isaac settles down under the blanket with you and the two of you take sips from the mugs. As the warm liquid slipped down your throat you were suddenly over come with calmness. 

"Thank you." You sigh, resting your head on Isaac's shoulder and watching the flashes of lightening out the window. 

"Anything for my baby girl." He murmurs, kissing your forehead.
