Bundled Up - Isaac Imagine

You weren't doing anything particularly entertaining when a text from Isaac lit up your phone screen, so you were happy to invest your attention on the rectangular shaped device.

From: Isaac.

Can you come over? I'm sick :(((

You chuckled to yourself at his use of frowning faces, texting him back immediately.

To: Isaac.

'Course. Do you need anything?

From: Isaac.

Just you.

You smiled down at your phone, imagining your boyfriend wrapped up in blankets with a pout on his face while he waited for you. You didn't wish to keep him waiting, so you quickly tugged on some shoes and gathered up necessities before hurrying out the door.

Upon arriving, you didn't bothering knocking on Isaac's front door, knowing that no one was going to answer anyway. You opened the unlocked door, slipping off your shoes and heading straight up stairs, already hearing the coughs and groans from Isaac.

As you figured, the moment you opened the door to Isaac's room you saw him, or rather his head, stuck out from a mound of at least four thick blankets. The top of the mound was covered with used tissues, three empty tissue boxes stacked on top of each other by his bed.

"Isaac?" You whispered, walking over to the edge of his bed.

He cracked his eyes open upon hearing you, letting out a sigh, "Thank God you're here." He pushed the blankets away from himself enough so that he could see you. Just as you thought, he had a pout pushing out his lips as his bright eyes started up at you innocently.

"Do you need anything?" You asked, reaching down and pushing his flat hair out of his eyes.

"Would you mind making me some tea?"

You nodded, "Anything else?"

"The cold and flu tablets in the medicine cabinet. Thanks, love."

You bent down, pressing a soft kiss to his forehead, smiling slightly at the poor boy before hurrying back downstairs.

After getting what he requested, you returned back up to his room and setting the cup of tea on his bedside table, letting him take the tablet before he downed some of the tea.

"Is there anything else?"

He placed the tea back on the side table, pondering for a moment before locking eyes with you again and nodding, "Cuddles?"

You chuckled at him and nodded. He flashed you a bright, toothy grin before lifting up the heap of blankets, allowing you to slip into the warmth. You settle against the headboard, then pull Isaac's head against your chest, running your hands through his tangled hair.

You knew all too well that you'll probably catch his sickness being this close to him, but you couldn't bring your self to care, knowing that he'd do the exact same thing for you too if you were to get sick.

"Go to sleep." You mumbled, kissing the crown of his head. He let out a content sigh, nodding against you before relaxing completely, clasping an arm around your middle, securing himself to you.

Sure, he may have sneezed on you and drooled as he slept, but you really did love your bundle of sickness a lot.
