Beautiful - Isaac Imagine

The first time...

It was a Saturday morning when you pushed open the door to your favourite coffee shop, stepping into the warm and welcoming store. You walked over to the counter.

"Usual?" Amy, the cashier whom you were rather good friends with, asked.

"Yes, please." You laughed slightly, realizing how much you actually came here. It was at least once a week, Saturdays usually. You paid for the drink, taking it from the barista once it was made before moving to take a seat where you would usually; toward the back, away from the rest of the people in the quiet shop.

You pulled a book out of your bag, opening it up and beginning to read where you had last stopped.

"Do you think I could sit here?" A voice suddenly asked. You looked up to see a boy standing before you. "Its just that there aren't any more seats."

No more seats? It was never usually full...

You looked around the once quiet shop, realizing that you had been so absorbed by your book that you hadn't realized the sudden change in numbers. "Oh, of course."

He smiled down at you, dropping his bag to the floor as he took a seat across from you. "I'm Isaac."

"(Y/n)." You replied.

"Well, (Y/n)," He leans onto the table, resting his elbows on the table while he sat his head in his hands, "Since were stuck at this table together we might as well get to know each other, eh?"

The second...

You sat in your usual spot with your usual drink, eyes skimming the people who populated the room. The bell on the door suddenly rang, your eyes flicking to see Isaac walking in. He spotted you, smiling lightly before heading toward the counter.

You watched intently as he ordered his drink, paid for it then began to head toward your direction. You smiled at him as he took a seat across from you, "I'm pretty sure there are plenty of seats today. Don't really see why you need to sit with me."

"What can I say? I cant turn down sitting with the most beautiful girl in the room."

You blushed profoundly, glancing down to the brown table, "I-I'm really not... but thank you."

"How about this," He paused until you looked back up to meet his gaze again, a blush still glued to your cheeks. "How about you give me your number? That way I can make sure you know your beautiful all the time, because you sure deserve to know it."

You feel your blush deepen as you nod at him, searching through your purse to pull out your phone, sliding it over to him. He created a new contact, entering his number before sliding it back to you.

That night when you were lying in bed, your phone rung with a new text message.

From: Isaac :)

Your beautiful. Remember that.

The Third...

"Hey (Y/n)! Your boyfriend is already here, and he's brought your drink."

You furrowed your eyebrows, glancing over to where Isaac was already sitting in your spot, two drinks sitting on the table. "Hes not my boyfriend." You mumbled to Amy, shaking your head as you made your way over to the awaiting Isaac.

"You really didn't have to buy my drink." You told him once you reached the table.

He shrugged, "I wanted to. You deserve it, beautiful."

You quickly took a seat, fearing that if you stood any longer you'd collapse. A blush had snuck up onto your cheeks, and you had suddenly become aware of how happy this boy who was just merely a stranger to you three days ago made you. He made you feel wanted, something you hadn't felt in a long time.

"Thank you, Isaac. Really, it means a lot."

The Fourth...

"I'm sorry, I don't have time to talk today. But there was something I really needed to ask you." He was panting as he approached you, heaving in and out as he held onto the back of the unoccupied seat.

"Yeah?"

"We've barely known each other for a week, but if there's one thing I know its that you have brought so much happiness to my life unknowingly. I'm constantly thinking about you, and I'm so glad that this coffee shop was full four days ago. I'm so glad I've had the pleasure of meeting you.  So what do you say, beautiful? Would you want to be my girlfriend?"

It was like the breath was sucked out of your lungs, eyes wide while you nodded at the boy, "Y-Yeah... Yes! I'd love to."

"I hope I'm not rushing into things but I've been wanting to do this for a long while." He took your face gently into his hands before leaning down and letting his lips settle onto yours, captivating you into a feather soft kiss.

When you pulled apart, you smiled at him, "I've been waiting a long while for you to do that, too."
