LEXI'S POV

It's been two weeks since our date out so its the first week of August. Which means this is the last month Jake will be here.

We spend nearly all our time together except for when I'm working.

It's sad that he's going to be gone but it's not that far and he said i can stay in his apartment with him but I need to stay here and prepare for the baby.

We've got diapers and wipes and I've heard about how it's unbelievable the amount of diapers they go through but we have 4 packs so hopefully that lasts a while. We also got bottles.

I've chose to use formula so we've bought three cans of that and we've got 12 bottles.

We have a bunch of newborn baby clothes and I've packed a diaper bag already with baby clothes, some clothes for me, and everything I'll need when I go into labor.

Jakes out with his friends right now I made him go because he hasn't barely seen them this whole summer and he deserves to have some fun.

Besides Morgan is over and we're watching movies and eating pizza just like old days.

We watch the notebook and safe haven before we end up falling asleep. Movies always end up doing that to us and it's eight at night so it's pretty early but I don't mind.

What I do mind is hearing the front door shut quite loudly at 3 in the morning with a drunk Jake behind it.

Jake goes into our room without even noticing Morgan or I in the living room.

"LEXI!" I hear him start to yell from our room.

I sigh and get up.

"What?" I say as I reach the door frame of our room.

"Oh where we-were you?" He asks laying on our bed.

"In the living room with Morgan."

"Come lay down." He says patting my side of the bed.

"Jake your drunk. Just go to bed."

"Please."

"Fine." I say and lay down next to him but turn on my side away from him and go back to bed.

I wake up at nine in the morning which is early for summer but I did go to bed at 8.

I make myself a cup of coffee with our keruig before sitting on the love seat and scrolling through social media.

The due date is February 5th it seems like a long ways away but I know it'll come fast and I can't wait to be able to hold our child.

I hear someone come down the stairs so I guess it's Jake and I'm right because he sits next to me on the couch.

He's showered and his hairs still damp.

"I'm sorry I know you don't like alcohol." He says grabbing my hand.

"It's fine. I don't care if you drink I just don't like it when your drunk."

"I know you don't I'm sorry."

"It's fine." I reassure him.

"You sure?"

"Yeah."

The day goes by slow because I woke up early and it just seems to drag on.

We go to Jake's parents for dinner but it ends up storming really bad so we just spend the night in his room there.

3 weeks later

Jakes leaving back to college tomorrow so basically we're packing everything right now because he put it off till last minute.

He's bringing about the same stuff as last year and were doing the same routine. I fold his clothes and he puts them in boxes.

I'm not driving up with him this year though because I have a doctors appointment right before he leaves.

We pack up his car already and then we lay down even though it's early. It's only a little after nine.

Jake places his hand on my stomach on my baby bump that's showing but not a lot I could easily hide it if I wanted to.

I wake up to my alarm going off I don't even remember falling asleep.

I get dressed into leggings and a tshirt and start to put my hair up in a pony tail while Jake throws on some clothes.

We head to the hospital for my ultra sound to hopefully find out the sex. I'm 17 almost weeks so hopefully they'll know.

We wait about ten minutes in the waiting room then get called in.

She puts the gel on my stomach like usual and she's asks questions and I answer.

At the end she asks if we want to know the gender and we say yes.

I rub the gel off with a towel she hands me and were standing waiting for pictures and she hands them to us.

"So the gender is..."

Short chapter but I wanted to end it here.
