"Bakugou, wake up! Wake up!"

Katsuku woke to a squealing, messy-haired brunette shaking his arm. He rolled over, trying to get her to stop, but to no prevail.

"Mm...what is it, cheeks?" Katsuki drowsily asked.

"You need to wake up, we need to prepare!" Ochako notified him.

Katsuki yawned.

"Prepare for what?" He questioned the girl, slowly sitting up.

"It's Halloween!" She announced.

"...And?" He raised an eyebrow.

Ochako gasped as if she was greatly offended.

"You don't care?! There are going to be trick-or-treaters! Or we can go trick-or-treating ourselves! Or we can host a Halloween party! We can dress up in costumes! Oh, the costumes! Everyone's costumes are going to be amazing! I can't believe you don't care!" She informed him, almost yelling the whole time.

Katsuki just sat there, blinking at her. He honestly didn't care much for Halloween.

But...

This is their first Halloween together...

"Look, we can go get some fucking decorations and shit, but that's it. I'm not going to a shitty party!" He caved, making Ochako clap and squeal some more.

"Oh, goody! Get up, get dressed, we're going shopping!" Ochako yelled excitedly, running out if the room to get dressed herself.

Katsuki smiled a bit. Seeing her happy made him happy.

He got up and looked through his drawers, getting his clothes. He put on his black shirt with the skull on it and some black pants. He put on some orange socks, because Ochako would murder him if he didn't have some Halloween spirit.

He went downstairs to find Ochako making toast. He got himself a glass of water and sat at the table, waiting for his toast. After a minute, the girl gave him a plate with toast on it. Katsuki looked closer and realized there was a pumpkin on it. He rolled his eyes and ate it anyway. After they ate, they got their shoes on and walked to the nearest Halloween store.

Ochako interacted with just about every moving decoration in the store. There were creepy dolls, ghosts, skeletons, basically everything associated with Halloween. Ochako saw something in each and every aisle she liked, including things like paper plates and plastic cutlery. Soon enough, they got to the candy aisle.

"Bakugou, look! There are cute little ghosts marshmallows!" She ran over to them and grabbed three medium-sized bags of them.

"Okay, calm down roundface! You're acting like a kid in a candy shop!" He said, which wasn't too far off from the current situation.

"I'm sorry but they're just so cute! Oo, candy corn!" She grabbed a few bags of candy corn.

When they got to the checkout line, their cart was full with decorations, candy, and of course, their costumes. Ochako's was a cute witch costume, and Katsuki's was a werewolf. Ochako insisted on Katsuki getting a costume, so they both decided on the werewolf. She said it would look adorable on him.

Everything they bought in total was around $400, and Ochako almost fainted at the sight of it.

"I'll pay" Katsuki told her, keeping her from collapsing.

"B-but it's so much!" She said.

"I can afford it" He insisted as he pulled out his wallet and paid.

They had to carry multiple bags full of Halloween goodies home, and Ochako apologized repeatedly about how much it had cost him, saying she got carried away sometimes. He told her it was fine and to shut up about it.

When they got home, Ochako started looking through the cupboards in the kitchen.

"The hell are you doing now?" Katsuki looked at her like she was a maniac.

"I'm looking for things to make cookies with!" She replied, standing on the counter so she could reach the cupboards.

Katsuki's jaw dropped. He couldn't believe this. How would they get this all done before night time?

"Are you insane? We'll never finish all of this in time! And get down from there before you fall, you idiot" He rushed over to her, grabbing her and putting her on the floor. He then began to look for the ingredients. Ochako pouted on the floor, wanting to help him.

"Katsuki pleaseeeeee" She begged. "I wanna helpppp"

"Why don't you call me Katsuki all the time?" He asked, setting ingredients on the counter.

"Don't change the subject" She told him, standing up. "I want to help you"

"And how? I don't need you burning these shitty cookies" He said to her.

"I won't burn them" She tugged on his arm.

"Fine, whatever. Get an apron on" He told her. She did a small victory dance and went to put on her apron.

"And...perfect!" She exclaimed, setting up the last decorative cobweb. "Doesn't it look great, Katsuki?"

"...It doesn't look like shit." He admitted, admiring how the place looked. Just the right amount of cobwebs, fake pumpkins, black and orange things like pillows on the couch, he had to admit it looked good.

Then came a beep from the kitchen.

"The cookies are done!" Ochako rushed to the kitchen and took the cookies out of the oven.

The cookies smelled good. Katsuki walked to the kitchen to look at them. They were a perfect light brown with designs on them, like skeletons, spiders, and cute little ghosts. He took one and bit into it. It was soft and warm, just how he liked cookies. They were perfect.

"So? How are they?" Ochako asked, grabbing one for herself.

Katsuki just nodded at her to eat hers, and so she did.

"Mmm, yummy!" Ochako practically melted.

"Not bad. Probably because I made them" Katsuki smirked.

"Hey, I helped too!" The girl protested.

"Yeah, by handing me things" He laughed.

"Oh, be quiet and enjoy your cookie!" She told him as she took another bite.

After they finished their cookies, Ochako put the others on a plate and put them on the table in the livingroom.

"What're we keeping them out for?" He asked her.

"Oh, I invited the others to go trick-or-treating with us! They're going to spend some time here first before we go out" She informed him.

"You invited those extras?!" He asked, eyes wide.

"Yeah, they're our friends! Why wouldn't I?" She looked at him.

"They're so loud and obnoxious!" He told her with his arms crossed.

"Oh don't act like a child, we have this conversation every time. Can we please just enjoy Halloween?" She pleaded.

"Fine, whatever!" He threw his arms up in defeat. "I'll let them come over once."

Ochako smiled and started separating all the candy they had bought into different bowls. Katsuki sat down, turning on some music. He decided not to argue with Ochako and put on Halloween music so she didn't yell at him.

Soon, the teenagers heard a knock at the door. Ochako went to open it and Katsuki heard voices.

"Hey girl, we're here!" Mina announced with Denki and Kirishima at her side.

"Great, come in!" Ochako said, letting them in.

They walked in and put their coats on a chair as Ochako closed the door. Mina immediately went to the cookies and shoved one in her mouth, melting afterwards the same way Ochako had. Kirishima went over to the couch and sat with Katsuki.

"Hey, Bakubro! How long did it take you two to put up all these decorations?" Kirishima asked the blond.

"Not as long as you'd think, now shut up" He replied, sipping some soda that he must have gotten earlier.

"Aw come on, you know you don't hate me" The red haired boy poked his arm.

"Whatever" He groaned.

In a few minutes, everyone was there, and all with their own costumes. Shoto was a vampire, Iida was Frankenstein, Deku was a ghost, and things such as that.

"Is everyone ready to go trick-or-treating?" Ochako yelled out to her classmates after they finished all the food.

She heard a chorus of cheers, even Katsuki made a small gesture by putting his hand in the air. Ochako led everyone outside, making sure they didn't leave anyone behind.

"And, that's everyone!" She said after doing a quick head count. "Let's go get some candy!"

"Hell yeah, there's a house over there! Who's coming with me?" Mina asked loudly.

"I'll go, kero" Tsu walked up to Mina.

"I'll go too!" Denki said, walking with the two girls to the house.

After everyone went in groups to different houses, Katsuki was in a better mood. There weren't as many people to annoy him.

"Come on 'Chako, there's a haunted house over there! Let's go prove we're the bravest out of all the extras in school!" He grabbed the girl's hand and dragged her over to the entrance of the haunted house.

It said there was a candy prize for going through the whole thing, so Ochalo wasn't complaining. She also wanted to prove to Katsuki that she was braver than he was, which wouldn't be easy considering how easy it is to scare her.

They walked in and were immediately greeted by the screams of small children. This didn't help Ochako's growing nervousness, but she didn't tell Katsuki. If she chickened out this early on, he would think she was weak, just like every other guy she's ever known. She gulped and walked forward with the boy walking behind her.

She turned a corner and found a porcelain doll on a swing, humming. As she walked past it, the doll screamed, which made Ochako jump.

Katsuki snickered. Watching Ochako be terrified like this wasn't something that he saw often. He must admit, she was being pretty brave. He could see her trembling the whole way through., but she was still being brave for him.

They soon got their candy and got out of the haunted house, and they talked again.

"I saw you in there" He said to her.

Well shit, she thought.

"You were pretty brave in there." He told her, taking a snickers from his bag and eating it.

Ochako looked at him, surprised. He's one of the first guys she's met, aside from her father and Iida, to think that she's brave...that she's strong. She then smiled widely and hugged him. He hugged her back with no hesitation.

"Hey guys, look how much candy we got!" Sero ran towards them with a fair bit of their class.

"We got alot of candy too!" Ochako said, showing everyone how full her bag is.

"They must've tried to be generous this year." Katsuki scoffed, recalling past Halloweens he'd participated in.

"Hey, at least we got candy. I can't wait to dig in when I get home" Kyoka smiled at the thought of the delicious chocolate and such.

"Just remember not to eat too much, or you'll get a stomachache!" Momo reminded the group.

Everyone laughed. Denki still ate too much candy.
