10th Day

Despite the fact Ochako forgave him, Katsuki couldn't sleep well that night. He kept having nightmare after nightmare. And if that wasn't bad enough, the nightmares were so similar to eachother. The same scenario, but there was always something different; a feeling, a person, an item. The one thing they all had in common though; He was always running from someone.

He planned on asking someone but didn't know who to ask, he had a few friends who might know. Mina would probably know the most, she does research on things like that all the time.

He and Ochako did their usual morning routine; Get dressed, brush their teeth, eat breakfast, and get to school. Once they got to class, he tapped Mina on the shoulder.

"Hey, I've got a question." He said.

"Whats up, Baku?" She asked the blonde.

"What does it mean when you're running from someone in a nightmare?" He asked.

Mina's eyes widened and she began digging through a purse she kept with her.

"What are you doing?" Katsuki tilted his head.

"Looking for my notebook" She replied, not looking up from her bag.

Soon enough, Mina pulled a notebook out of her bag and started flipping through pages.

"I googled it a while ago and it said you're anxious about something or experiencing 'Heightened or ongoing stress', what ever that means" She told him.

"Oh. Okay." The blonde sat down at his desk, still processing what Mina said.

Anxious? Stress? Those were definitely two things he had experience with, especially trying to beat Deku in everything.. but this wasn't about him and Deku, this was about him and his nightmares.

He decided it must be because of what happened on the date, considering everything that happens in his nightmares.

Soon enough, it was lunch. He got his food and went to sit with his friends like always, but he saw Ochako across the cafeteria and waved for her to move to their table. She told her friends and they told her to go, so she did.

"Hey! What did you need me for, Bakugou?" She asked the blonde.

Katsuki's friends all huddled together on the other side of the table and stared at the two.

"I want you to help me figure something out." He replied, ignoring his friends.

"Oh, okay! Where do I sit?" She asked him.

"Just sit beside me" He told her, patting the spot beside him.

"Okay" She sat.

He pulled out his phone, opened his browser, and started searching something. Ochako looked at him, confused.

"What are you searching?" She asked him.

"Something that happened in my dream last night. I want to know what it was about." He replied, still typing.

"What was your dream?" She asked.

"I was chased by someone I dont know." He said. "Now look at this"

He showed her the answer google gave him.

"...can mean you feel truly threatened? You feel threatened?" She looked at him.

"Well, I mean, I'm doing all this because of something that happened. Does that answer your question?" He asked her.

Ochako nodded.

The spent the rest of their time at lunch talking about things while Katsuki tried to get a clearer answer. He couldn't find much though, which made him frustrated. Ochako hugged him, which calmed him. He decided to hug back, too.

And while all this was happening, Katsuki's friends were staring at them and whispering to eachother. All good things though, they aren't fake friends.

"Eeeek, they are so cute!" Mina whispered.

"Honestly, I'm surprised Ochako isn't at least a little bit scared to be around him, with how explosive he can be" Denki giggled.

"Oh come on guys, he's happy! We've gotta be happy for him" Kirishima told them.

"We ARE happy for him. I bet they're going to get married one day" Sero bet.

Soon enough, it was time to get to class. Katsuki and Ochako walked together while Katsuki's friends continued looking at them.

Everyone sat down in class and did what they were told. After going to all their classes, they went home and sat on the couch.

"Phew, so glad to be home" Ochako breathed.

"Yeah" Katsuki agreed.

"And, uh...I've actually had a question. I've been thinking about it since yesterday..." She told him.

"Whats up?" He asked.

"Well...what are we?" She asked him.

"What do you mean?" He said.

"Well we've been on a date and practically both said we like eachother, so..." She trailed off.

"What do you want us to be?" He looked away.

"What?"

"I said, what do you want us to be? Because it sounds like you want to be more than...whatever we are. Friends." He told her.

There was silence for a moment.

"I want us to be together. Not like friends, like lovers. Partners. I want late night conversations, movie dates, annoying eachother, jokes, kisses, I want it all. And I want it with you." She boldly stated.

Katsuki looked at her. He hadn't expected to be brave enough to say all that, he definitely wouldn't have been.

"No one else? Just me?" He let out a short laugh.

She nodded.

He held her hand and looked her in the eyes.

"Well its a good thing I want the same" He said.

They smiled at eachother.

"I love you" Ochako blurted out.

"Don't you think its pretty early to be saying that?" Katsuki laughed.

"I don't want to waste any time waiting to tell you that I love you" The brunette explained, laughing a bit aswell.

"Fair enough. I love you too" He told her.

Katsuki woke up with Ochako in his arms once again, her head on his chest. He smiled at her and slowly pushed her off of him.

"Mmm...what are you doinggg" Ochako asked, rubbing her eyes.

"Getting up. And you should too" He replied, putting his uniform on.

"But i'm tiredd.." She yawned.

"I can tell. But we have to get to school or we'll get yelled at by four-eyes again." He told her.

Ochako immediately stood up and went to her room to get changed. Katsuki chuckled, going downstairs to make a quick breakfast.

As soon as he finished pouring the milk into one of two bowls of cereal, Ochako ran downstairs with a rushed school uniform on. The blonde looked at her and laughed.

"What are you laughing at?" She asked him, with her hands on her hips.

"You look like you were just in a tornado. Here" He replied.

He walked toward the girl and fixed her uniform. Ochako him with a red face the whole time.

"What, has nobody fixed your uniform for you before? All I'm doing is your tie. Although, if you want me to do more..." He teased.

"Oh my- don't say that!" She yelled, her face more red than before.

"I'm just teasing you, dipshit. Now come on. I got us some cereal" He laughed.

Like usual, Ochako sat at her desk in class. But something was different this time. Her friends were looking at her weird.

"...um, why are you guys all looking at me?" She asked them.

"You have a little...um..." Tsu started, but soon stopped.

"A little what?" Ochako asked.

"Uh...Iida?" Tsu looked at the tall boy.

"Me? Are you sure?" He looked back at her.

Tsu nodded.

"Uraraka, if I'm being completely honest, I don't know how you don't feel it." He pointed at her shoulder.

Ochako looked down at her shoulder, not knowing what to expect. Once she saw what was there, she screamed, jumped up from her seat, and fell over.

"Ochako, are you okay?!" Mina yelled, running over to the brunette.

"SPIDER!" Ochako crawled away from her desk.

Now everyone was freaking out. A few of the guys crept up to her desk and started looking for the spider, while some of the other students screamed.

"I found it!" Deku yelled to the others. "Get some paper and a cup!"

"Fuck no, step on it!" Katsuki continued looking for it.

"Why don't you just take your shoe off and squish it? Or you could throw it" Kirishima suggested.

"HURRY UP AND GET RID OF IT" Denki yelled at the boys.

"Dorks. Yaomomo, make me some paper and a cup" Kyoka looked at the raven haired girl.

Momo created a piece of paper and handed it to her. Kyoka casually walked up to the huge spider and trapped the spider inside the cup using the paper and walked out of the room.

Everyone looked at eachother, not knowing what just happened. Kyoka had more guts than everyone else did.

The purple haired girl soon came back and sat at her desk.

"You guys really are scaredy cats. It was just a spider" She teased the rest of the class.

"It was literally the size of my finger" Todoroki replied.

"Since when did you start using the word 'Literally', Todoroki?" Kirishima asked him.

"Mina lent me a book of what she calls 'slang' and I decided to take a look." The cold boy told him.

Mina looked proud of herself.

"Thanks Jirou, how were you so calm?" Sero asked the girl.

"I used to do it alot. Whenever my parents saw a spider, I would get rid of it to stop them from screaming" She replied.

"Oh wow" Sero breathed.

"Well, thanks" Ochako thanked her.

There was silence for a few moments.

"So, movie night at my place?" Mina spontaneously asked the rest of the class.

They all agreed with no hesitance whatsoever. Movies at Mina's were always the best, and they needed to get rid of the silence somehow.

When it was time for lunch, Ochako sat with her friends like usual.

"So, anything new?" Deku asked the group.

"Well, I just got notice that one of my cousins is getting married in a few months' time" Iida told everyone.

"Wow. I'm meeting up with an old friend tomorrow, we're going to the park" Tsu responded.

"My father wants me to help him with something this week." Todoroki shared.

"What about you, Ochako?" Tsu asked, the whole group looking at the girl.

Ochako was silent for a moment. She wanted to tell them that she and Katsuki were together, but she had a feeling they'd be a bit shocked.

"My fish died" She plainly said.

Everyone looked at her with wide eyes. Iida suddenly spoke up.

"Didn't you say you didn't have any pets?" He asked her.

Ochako panicked internally. What would she say? Wait, she knew.

"I got him yesterday" She said.

"...How did he die in a day?" Deku asked.

"I don't think I'm good with pets like fish." She replied.

Iids fixed his glasses in disbelief. He decided to give his friend the benefit of the doubt, but he did plan to do some investigating.

"Heh...anyways, go ahead and tell the rest of us your plans, guys!" She awkwardly said.

The rest of the group looked at eachother. They knew something was up, they just didn't know what. They went on with their plans anyway.

After lunch, Iida went up to Ochako and started talking to her.

"Uraraka, there you are! I have a question" Iida walked beside her.

"Yeah, what's up?" She said, looking at him.

"Do you mind if I go to your house later? I feel like we don't hang out as much as we used to" He asked the short girl.

"Oh yeah, sure! You can walk home with me. Bakugou will already be home, but I have to stay behind a bit to finish something up. If you're willing to wait a bit, then sure" She replied.

"I will wait if necessary" He told her.

"Great! I'll see you then" She waved, walking ahead.

Iida watched the back of her head dissappear into the crowd of students trying to get to their next class. He decided not to waste time and walked to his next class, too.

After school ended and Ochako was done her task, she found Iida.

"Ready to go, Iida?" She asked.

"Yes I am" He replied.

As they walked to Ochako's place, they talked about various things. Mainly school. Ochako avoided talking about her dating life, because she still didn't know how Iida would react. Would he be happy for her? Surprised? There's no way of telling.

They got to the house and went inside to find Katsuki cooking something in the kitchen with his back turned towards them.

"That you, 'Chako?" He called from the kitchen.

"Yeah, Iida's here too!" She called back.

Katsuki looked back at her to find the class representative standing beside her. He let out a quiet 'Tch' before going back to his cooking.

"Hello to you too, Bakugou" Iida greeted.

"Whatever" The blonde huffed.

Ochako took her shoes off and walked to the kitchen, standing beside Katsuki and watching him.

"Whatcha making?" She asked him.

"Quesadillas" He replied.

"Ooo, can I have some when you're done?" She looked up at him.

He looked down at her and quickly looked back at the food.

"Sure, dipshit" He smiled.

"Score!" She celebrated, making Katsuki laugh.

Iida didn't want to just stand there, so he sat on the couch and watched them from there. He was looking for any signs of a relationship, but so far their behavior could still be them being friends, so he continued watching them.

He began thinking; What if they were dating? How should he react, if that's the case? Obviously he should avoid any negative reaction, that would make it seem like he wasn't happy for them. A smile? Seems like the best way to go. He began focusing on his thoughts more than the people he was watching.

Ochako looked back and saw Iida zoned out. She walked up to him and sat down, watching him.

"Iida? Hellooo?" She waved her hand in front of his face.

He immediately looked at her, escaping his thoughts. He decided to test them.

"Uraraka, I love you" Iida boldly stated.

Katsuki spit out the water he was drinking while Ochako had a wide eyed look.

"...What-?" She asked, tilting her head a bit.

"I said I love you" He repeated.

Katsuki looked at the two and slowly looked at Iida. He then proceeded to slap him.

"Ow!" Iida held the side of his face. "What was that for, Bakugou?"

"You like round face?" He asked.

Iida nodded, going along with his plan.

"Well how do you like this?"

Katsuki then grabbed Ochako's face and kissed her, looking at her quickly beforehand to make sure she was ok with it. She was, of course.

Iida watched the two teenagers kiss, unsure of what to do. Of course, he wasn't that surprised, but he never knew what to do when people kissed in front of him. When they finished, they all looked at eachother in silence.

"...That was a test, you know" Iida told Katsuki.

The blonde looked at him sharply.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"I said I loved Uraraka to see if you two were together, and judging from what just happened...you are. The only way I would love Uraraka would be as a friend." He informed him.

Katsuki was silent. He was processing what Iida had just said to him. A test to see if they were dating? That sure is a way to find out. Although he had to hand it to him, he was pretty good at acting.

"So, you don't love her?" Katsuki asked the boy.

"Only as a friend" Iida confirmed.

Katsuki sighed in relief.

While all this was happening, Ochako had made some popcorn and ate it while watching the two like it was a drama show on TV.

Katsuki and Iida smiled at eachother.

"Katsuki, the Quesadillas are way past ready" Ochako said, matter-of-factly.

Katsuki was silent one more, and then ran into the kitchen. Iida and Ochako could hear him yell "MOTHERFUCKER-" on the way.
