Sorry

I was walking around Gotham with a pair of dark shades and a hoodie. I had convinced Wally into letting me walk around by myself. It had taken a while, but he let me.

I kept my head held down so people wouldn't notice me, and also had my hood pulled down as low as possible. I wish they would just let Bruce go and end all of this nonsense!

"Dick!" I heard a familiar voice yell. I felt a force push me into a nearby alley. I squeezed my eyes shut preparing for some form of assault, but felt none. I slowly opened my eyes and saw my attacker," Babs?"

"Dick! I'm so sorry! It's all my fault! I didn't mean to do anything to you, but protect you! I'm so sorry!" She cried out.

"Babs... I forgive you, but I wish you hadn't done it at all." I told her looking down.

"Dick... I'm sorry... I've been looking all over town for you. You have no idea how much I've lied to my dad about going out, but I was actually looking for you." She spoke sadly. I looked up at her. I couldn't stay mad at her, but why was she looking for me?

"Why? So you could tell your dad where I was?" I blurted out.

Her eyes widened in shock," Dick! No! Of course not."

"Oh..." I said looking down," How did you know it was me?"

"Honestly I didn't. I've been pinning people down he whole week." She smiled which caused me to laugh.

"Please don't tell anyone you found me." I spoke seriously.

"I won't," She put her arms up," But where have you been staying?"

"Well, different places, but I'm fine now." I told her.

"Dick... You have no idea how worried you had me. I feared that I would find your body in an alley." She sighed.

"I'm fine Barbara." I told her chuckling slightly.

" Why were you walking around. They have cops looking for you even at school!" Barbara scolded me.

"It was just this one time." I responded.

"I'm so happy you are okay." You said hugging me.

"I'm fine, but I should get going." I told her lowering my hood.

"Will I ever see you again?" She asked.

"I don't know... Maybe I'll take a nap in an alley." I joked earning a slap.

"Dick don't joke about that! I was so worried!" She yelled.

"Well see ya!" I said slipping out of the alley. I don't know why, but when I was with Barbara I felt something weird. I wasn't sure what it was, but when I felt it I wanted to tell her everything. Like that I was Robin and that was why I was always ditching her, but I couldn't tell her... I had to one day though, and I am going to make sure that that one day is going to happen.
