THEY JUST KEPT FALLING. SCREAMSΒ  escaping everyone as they held on for their lives.

Dustin swore to himself as he tried to stop the room but it didn't seem to stop.

"We're going down!" Steve yelled, his grip on Bea's hand so tight that she thought that she'd lose all feeling in it.

"Yeah, no shit Harrington," Robin yelled out, clearly distressed. Steve screamed like a little girl as he huddled in the corner, holding on tightly to Bea like it would be the last time he ever would.

Dustin and Erica screamed at each other as they fought over the buttons, trying desperately to get them to stop falling.

Steve was panicking, he looked close to crying as he squeezed tighter on Bea's hand.

"Stevie, Steve, Babe, I can't feel my hand," she said but he obviously didn't hear her over the screams as he squeezed tighter.

They crashed and everyone grunted as they fell into crates and walls. Bea winced as she fell onto her boyfriend, a box tumbling on top.

"You fell on my groin," he said and Bea chuckled to herself. She stood up on shaky legs, holding a hand out for her boyfriend as he lay on the floor.

"Is everyone OK?" Robin asked and Bea raised her eyebrows at the statement, about to say something when Steve interrupted.

"Yeah, I'm great, now that I know Russians can't design elevators," he yelled out, his voice hoarse from all of the screaming.

Bea helped him up and he smiled at her, apologising quietly about her hand before rapidly trying to press the buttons.

"They're buttons they have to do something," Steve exclaimed, very obviously in a panic.

Bea couldn't remember seeing him like that since the first time he faced the Demogorgan and freaked out in Jonathans house.

"We need a keycard, it's an electronic lock like the locking dock door." Bea explained, placing a hand on Steve's shoulder as he turned around to look at the group, his hair sticking slightly to his forhead.

"We're stuck in here," Dustin said and Bea nodded her head, looking at Steve as he ran his hands through his hair.

"Just so you nerds are aware, I'm supposed to be spending the night at Tina's. But if I'm not at uncle jacks party then she will hunt you down one by one and slit your throat," Erica said and Bea nodded her head, the girl was really growing on her.

Steve had snapped as he pushed a box over in his anger, "I don't care about Tina or uncle Jacks party. Your mum won't find us if we're dead in a Russian elevator," he said and Bea placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Steve," she said, she understood he was angry.

He turned back to her and he sighed, untensing slightly as he started to breathe again.

"Hey," Dustin said and everyone turned to look at him, "What if we just climb out," he suggested and Steve nodded.

He helped Dustin up onto his shoulders as the teenager climbed onto the roof of the elevator, his grunts echoing through as he climbed back down again.

After long enough Erica and Dustin were asleep, Robin drifting in and out of consciousness.

"Hey, you still awake," Steve whispered as Bea leaned back into him as she sat inbetween his legs, his arms wrapped around her waist and his chin resting on the top of her head.

"Barely, I don't think I'm going to be able to sleep whilst we are in a Russian death trap," she said quietly to try not to wake everyone up.Β

"I love you," Steve said out of the blue and Bea chuckled silently to herself.

"I love you too Stevie," she said and he pressed a soft kiss to the top of her head.

"If we make it out of here alive, I'm going to tell you that every night and every day," he whispered, his hands running up and down her sides softly.

They talked for the rest of the night, silent whispers being uttered between them.

DUSTIN SAT IN THE CORNER,
talking into his radio but there was no way that they could reach anyone through it. He was up on the top, trying to find a signal down here.

Bea climbed up with the help of Steve and they both sat there talking to Dustin.

She was terrified of what was going on but also about what could happen if they didn't get back out of here and died in a Russian elevator, would anyone even find them down here. Her thoughts ran wild as she talked to Dustin.

Steve walked to the other side of the room and Bea heard his belt unbuckle.

"What the hell are you doing?" Dustin exclaimed and Steve turned his head around.

"What does it look like I'm doing, I'm taking a leak, look away," Steve said and Bea turned around to look at the other wall, not wanting to see.

"Why are you turning around, it's nothing new," Dustin said and Bea looked at him horrified and Dustin turned around as well and he looked at Bea.

"Do you hear that?" Bea asked as Steve turned back around, zipping up his pants.

Suddenly Robin climbed up, saying that people were approaching and they all climbed onto the roof, watching the Russians walk in.

Steve held a finger to his lips.

Just as the door started to close, Steve pushed one of the nuclear looking viles underneath to prop the door open.Β  Erica, Dustin and Robin slid under and Bea watched the vial start to crack as Steve pushed her under.

"Come on Steve," she said as the vial cracked, Steve just managing to make it out of the room alive before the door slammed closed.

It sizzled and Bea watched it melt like acid into the floor.

They turned around and saw an extremely long hallway and Steve scoffed, his arm still wrapped around Bea's waist.

"Hope you guys are in good shape," he said as they all stared down the hallway and he started walking with Bea, his arm never leaving her waist.

"You have to admit that this is impressive," Dustin said as they walked down the hallway. Then Steve started to bicker with Dustin like they always seemed to do whilst they were talking.

"You're all so nerdy it makes me physically ill," Erica said as they started talking about the uses for the poison.

"No, don't lump me in with them, I dont know Jack Shit about prometheus" Steve said and Bea chuckled.

"You mean promethium, Prometheus is a Greek mythological figure but nevermore. You are nerdy by association," she said and Steve shook his head in protest.

"Why would they build something in Hawkins of all places," Robin said and Bea smiled to herself.

"Lots of weird shit happens in Hawkins Rob," Bea said and she suddenly stopped when she realised something, Dustin and Steve stopping with her as Erica and Robin walked up ahead.

"You think the Russians know?" Dustin asked and Steve nodded.

"I'm sorry, is there something you three would like to share with the class?" Robin asked when she realised that the others were standing away whispering.

Suddenly, there is a static hissing and a man speaks Russian on a radio.

They all run towards it, listening to the supercom. "It's the code," Robin says and Bea nods.

"It has to be close," Bea states and Steve nods in response and they all get up, ready to go.

Steve snuck round a corner, the rest of them following after him until they entered a Russian lobby.

They ran behind a crate and hid from the Russians. "Red dawn," Dustin whispered and Erica looked scared.

"I saw it, first floor northwest," Erica said and Bea looked at her confused.

"Saw what?" She asked and Erica sighed.

"The coms room, I'm positive about it," she said and they all looked at the Russians.

"We're gonna move fast, we're gonna stay low okay," Steve said and they all followed him out, hiding behind crates and Russian machines as they ran towards a door.

Steve grabbed the door just as it was about to close and Bea saw a Russian man waiting.

"Shit," she swore under her breath until Robin stepped in, saying something in Russian that Bea assumed to be the code.

They seemed to have a very confusing conversation and the guy reached for a gun.

Steve didn't like those odds so he made a loud battle cry and slammed into the man so he fell on the panel.

"Steve!" Bea yelled and he just slammed the guy again.

The Russian pushed him back but missed when he tried to punch him again.

Steve grunted as the man threw him across the room but then Steve grabbed his gun, smacking him over the head with it and knocking him completely unconscious.

Steve ran a hand threw his hair as he panted, looking at the Russian on the floor.

"Dude! You won a fight," Dustin exclaimed and Bea ran over to him, wrapping her arms around his neck as Steve smirked at her.

"I won a fight," he said and she laughed to herself softly.

"My hero," she said, pressing a kiss to his lips which he tried to intensify but she pulled away.

"We are still in a Russian base Steve," she said but he smiled, wrapping a hand around her waist as he looked at the man, proud of what he managed to accomplish.

"What are you doing!" Erica whisper yelled at Dustin as he ransacked the mans pockets, pulling out something.

"You want to walk all the way back?" Erica asked and Dustin walked up to her.

"Well, I thought we could relax for a bit, host a romantic picnic for those two sick lovebirds maybe," Dustin said sarcastically and Robin walked up a staircase as they bickered.

They all brang her back and stared at the bright blue light.

"Holy shit," Dustin whispered and Bea nodded her head.

They stared at the machine that seemed to be trying to open a portal, most likely to the upside down.

"There goes my summer," Bea said, leaning her head on the glass in frustration.
