"OH, I WANT TO SEE THOSE PEARLS. Yeah!" Their mum said as she snapped pictures of Dustin in his ghostbusters costume.

Bea laughed as she heard the music playing in the background and the camera shutter going off.

"Who you gonna call," mum called out and Dustin turned to look at Bea who was sitting on the cat, stroking Mews.

"Careful with Mews honey," Mum said before snapping a few more pictures of Dustin.

Bea picked up her polaroid camera that was sitting on the coffee table, despite what Jonathan said about the quality not being as good she loved the effect that the Polaroid cameras had.

"Come on Stanz, strike a pose," Bea said as she took a few pictures whilst he posed. "Are you sure you are meant to wear costumes?" Bea asked and Dustin nodded his head vigorously.

"Obviously, it's Halloween," he said and Bea walked over, ruffling his hair slightly as she laughed.

"Ok, you two need a picture, come on Bea," Mum said and Bea sighed. She had become a lot closer with her mum in the last year than she ever had been in her whole life.

She leaned in and wrapped in arm around Dustin's shoulders, hearing their mum snap a few photos before stopping and smiling at her kids.

"Have a good day, see you when you get home," their mum said before the two walked out the door. Dustin biked in to school and Bea got in her car, driving there.

They had a free period and Bea, Steve and Nancy decided to go to study hall. About half way through, Nancy broke her pencil and stood up, walking over and sharpening it.

"Hey, is she alright?" Bea asked and they turned to see Nancy staring into the distance, sharpening her pencil too much.

Steve sighed, getting up and placing a hand on her shoulder, snapping her out of her little daydream or whatever. Bea sighed, putting her head back in the book and allowing the happy couple to have their moment. When Bea looked back up she realised that they had gone so she let out an exasperated sigh and looked back at the book.

BEA WAITED WITH THE BOYS AS THEY drove up to the Wheelers house, parking out front.

She ran over to Jonathan who was laughing at her costume.

It was Morticia Adaams from the cartoon, long black dress and long black sleeves with perfectly straight hair.

"Oh come on Jonathan, I love it," she said spinning around before Will got out the car.

"Nice costume Peanut, happy Halloween," Bea said and he grinned at her before watching her get in the car. Jonathan handed Will the camcorder before Will ran off.

"Its good you let him go," Bea said as she saw worried look on his face.

"Yeah I know," he said, looking at Will before driving off. He dropped her off at the party and Jonathan looked out at everyone.

"Come to the party," Bea said Jonathan shook his head.

"Not my type but call me and I'll pick you up,' he said and she stepped out the car before looking through the window. 'Shout at the Devil' by MΓΆtley CrΓΌe was playing as they arrived, the car pulling up outside.

"If you change your mind, I always need a gomez," she said before stepping out the car and watching as Jonathan drove off.

Some arrogant little shit was chugging Beer from some really large keg and Bea walked over, an agitated look on her face as she scanned the party for Nancy and Steve.

They chanted his name, Billy, and he winked at Bea before she sighed, walking the other way.

"Oh come on Morticia," Billy yelled out and she just flipped him off.

"Shes a freak Keg King, don't want to hang with that sorts," Tommy said and Bea turned around for a split second. Holding both her middle fingers up at the boys before strolling off, not noticing how high the slit in her black dress was going.

She walked inside, actually hating it as she smelt alcohol and cigarettes as she scanned the room for Steve and Nancy.
Bea seemed to have beat Billy to the couple as she stood with them, not being able to even catch up when Billy walked in.

"Yeah that's right, we have a new keg king Harrington," Tommy said and Bea scoffed. Steve took his glasses off, looking at Billy as the music played in the background.

Nancy sighed, walking away and Bea moved closer to Steve out of fear from the party and everyone else around.

"What are you two supposed to be, cheap wrestler and high school has-been" Bea suggested and Tommy scoffed.

"And what are you? A Witch, I thought those outfits stopped when we were 5," Tommy said and Billy said something under his breath.

"Go on Keg King, speak up," Bea said, almost like she was talking to a five year old.

"I said you were Morticia Adaams," Billy said with clarity and Bea laughed, clapping her hands sarcastically.

"I'm impressed your highness, for a second there I thought all that alcohol had gone to your brain," Bea said and Billy scoffed, cracking a smile.

"Yeah, don't get too excited Morticia, we still have the rest of the night," he said, winking at her before gesturing to his uncovered abs.

Bea turned to look for Nancy and grabbed Steves hand before walking over to her, honestly bored of the conversation. Steve and Bea walked over to Nancy who was pulling some drink from a large bowl into two red cups.

"Hey, whoa, whoa, whoa, take it easy Nance" He said as she drank half the cup in one second.

"We're just being stupid teenagers for the night, wasn't that the deal?" Nancy asked before downing her whole drink. Steve and Bea shared confused glances before Nancy walked off into the crowd, a full cup of drink in her hand.

'Girls on Film' by Duran Duran played in the background and Bea found Steve and Nancy arguing. She walked over to them, stopping prematurely when she saw them arguing.

"No, no, no," Steve said as he grabbed her arm when Nancy went back for my drink.

"Get off," she said in an obviously drunk fashion and he was trying to help her when she spilt the red drink all over her white shirt. Everyone oohed and aahed about it, watching as Steve took a step back from the mess she just made.

Nancy rushed off, ignoring Steve trying to follow her as he rushed after her.

"You're Bullshit, you loving me is bullshit when I know the truth. This is all bullshit" the words echoed through Steves mind as he stormed out of the party.

Bea, who was talking to Jonathan, noticed this and followed him out to see Steve sitting in the front of his car, head resting against the wheel.

She knocked on the car window.

"Steve," she whispered and he looked up, his eyes puffy as she looked at a stray tear run down his cheek. They looked at each other and Steve got out the car. He slowly walked over to her and without a second thought hugged her.

Bea didn't know what to do, she knew he had just had an argument with Nancy and she didn't want to overstep boundaries but at the same time she wanted to comfort her friend.

She hugged him back, listening to his silent sobs as his head rested in the crook of her neck.

"I'll drive us back to mine, you good with that?" She asked, pulling back and Steve sniffled before nodding his head and getting into the passengers seat.

Bea ran over to Jonathans car, placing a small note on his windscreen explaining where she went before running back to Steve's car and jumping in the driver seat and driving back to hers.

"You want to talk about it?" She asked and he looked up at her, wiping his cheeks and thinking of what to say.

"I think me and Nancy just broke up," he said and Bea took a sharp inhale of breath at the news.

Her heart broke for Steve for she knew how much he loved her.

"I'm sorry," she mumbled, unsure of what else to say.

"Yeah, well according to her our whole relationship is bullshit," he explained and she moved over, placing a reassuring hand on top of his.

"It's ok, you want to do something. Watch a movie. Egg her house. Go home and cry?" She asked and Steve laughed at the second option.

He stared out of the car as Bea parked at her house, thinking about what he should do.

"Can I stay for a bit?" He asked and she smiled at him.

"Of course, come on," she said and he laughed to himself, getting out of his car and following Bea in.

After getting some food and drinks Bea turned her TV on and flicked through the channels until they saw that Nightmare of Elm Street had started. Steve lay his head in Bea's lap, feeling sleepy not only from the night he'd had but from the little bit of booze he drank there.

"Thanks Bear, for all of this, I feel better already," he said and her breath hitched in her throat at the use of the nickname. One he hadn't called her in what felt like weeks.

"Its fine Steve, just glad you feel better," she said, running her hands through his hair.

About half way through the movie she felt him fall asleep, his soft snores probably only audible to her. She smiled to herself, her hand still gently running through his hair and he seemed happy with it because he snuggled into her lap.
