THAT MORNING, BEA WALKED downstairs in her over-sized purple shirtΒ  and saw Dustin shoving snacks into his bag.

"Hold up greedy guts, whats that for?" She asked and he turned to her.

"Oh, food for our expedition after school, I'm gonna leave it at Mikes," Dustin explained and Bea laughed, walking over and ruffling his hair.

"Ok, but take some of my pudding, its in some tupperware in the fridge," she explained as she reached for some toast.

At school Bea sat in History class, bored out of her mind, when she looked to the left of her and saw that Barb was not in her usual seat.

"Hey Bea," Nancy called from across the row and she turned to the side to look at her.

"Have you seen Barb at all?" Nancy asked and she thought about it for a second before realising that nobody had seen Barb all day.

"No, shouldn't you know, both of you went to that lame party with Steve last night," Bea said and Nancy went bright red when she realised that Bea knew what had happened. Steve was an amazing liar and manipulator but when you got to met the real him, he was the nicest person you'd ever meet.

"Yeah, sorry, but I know Steve and thats his normal routine," she explained and Nancy sighed when she heard the truth.

"I think somethings happened to Barb though, she had an issue last night," Nancy explained, a scared tone in her voice as she ignored what had happened just then.

Just as Bea was about to reply, their teacher walked in.

JONATHAN AND BEA WALKES OUT OF school and he looked tense as he walked past Carol, Steve and the gang. Steve jumped up and walked over to the two.

"Whats going on?" Jonathan asked and Steve explained he knew all about Jonathand pictures. When he tried to get past Tommy grabbed Jonathans rucksack, ripping it off his shoulder.

"Man he is totally trembling. Must have something to hide," Steve said as he opened the bag.

Steve pulled out the pictures and it was all from the party last night. Bea gasped as she looked at the pictures and then at Jonathan.

"I was looking for my brother," Jonathan said to Bea who was still looking at them astounded and Steve scoffed.

"This is stalking," Steve said and Carol nodded in agreement, chewing her gum obnoxiously loud, allowing everyone to hear it. Tommy laughed, leaning over Steves shoulder to see it.

Nancy walked over and Carol handed her one picture so Bea looked at it as well.

It was Nancy with only a bra on.

Bea looked at her best friend with only one emotion on her face, disgust. This seemed to make Steve smile as he walked towards the two.

"You can tell that he knows it was wrong, but that's the thing about perverts," Steve said as he walked up to Jonathan. "Its hardwired into them, they just can't help themselves" Steve finished as he played with Jonathans pictures, ripping the papers to shreds.

Tommy laughs and Steve walked back towards his little posse.

"We just have to take away his toy," Steve said as he reached into the bag, Jonathan protesting. Steve went to hand the camera back to Jonathan but dropped it half way, letting it smash on the floor.

Bea balled her hands into fists as she looked at Steve. Yes, she was angry at Jonathan for taking these pervy pictures but what was worse was the way Steve treated it.

He seemed to notice as he looked at the floor, avoiding her gaze.

"Come on, lets go. The games about to start," he said before the rest of them walked off with him. Jonathan rummaged on the floor for his pieces.

"Stay there, I'll be back," Bea said before she rushed after Steve. Tommy and Carol crossed the road, leaving Steve behind temporarily until the bus passed. Bea pushed him in the shoulder and he turned to look at her with a hurt expression on his face.

"Dont lecture me," he said, not daring to look at her.

"You're a horrible person Steve Harrington." She said, not caring who heard, "Jonathan worked for months to afford the camera, his brother is missing and you do that," Bea explained and Steve looked up at her, something in his eye that she couldn't quite recognise.

They didn't break eye contact for a while and neither knew what to do. It was like they were in their own world and much to Bea's despise she felt something.

They were brang back to reality by Carol yelling Steves name.

"I'm sorry," he whispered into her ear and Bea was left standing there in shock.

Bea turned back around and looked at Jonathan who was picking up pieces of his camera off the floor. She knelt down next to him and helped pick up the paper as well as parts of his camera,

"I'm sorry," he said and she smiled at him, confused.

"For the pictures, I know it's creepy bu-" he elaborated and Bea stopped cut him off, placing her hand on top of his,

"I'm not the one you should be apologising too," she said and they both picked up the litter before sitting in his car.

It was silent, the last time they were like this they had nearly kissed - something they had not talked about since.

"You want to come over?" Bea said abruptly, turning to him and he smiled.

"Actually, that sounds great," He said and they both smiled as Jonathan drove off.

It was a comfortable silence on the way to the Henderson house, they were back to the friendship that made you feel warm and cosy and not awkward like it had before.

When they got inside, her mum was sitting on the sofa.

"Ah Jonathan, how are you?" She asked, standing up and allowing Mews to run away. He smiled at her as Bea locked up.

"I'll be fine soon Mrs Henderson, how are you?" He asked and Bea smiled at this polite side of Jonathan. Her mum must have liked it as well because she smiled at the boy.

"A bit overwhelmed at work but otherwise fine," she said to him before turning to look at her daughter. "You cooking tonight?" She asked and Bea sighed.

"Yes mum, Dustins staying at the Wheelers a little later tonight" she said, a smile on her mums face when she heard Dustins name.

Bea flashed her mum a fake smile, saying goodbye before walking into the kitchen, dragging Jonathan along with her.

When Bea closed the door she banged her head on the wall, letting out a frustrated sigh.

"Favourite child Dustin," she said and even though she hated to admit it, it was true.

Ever since she was little Dustin had always been the favourite, Bea wasn't being petty or clingy but she missed having the mum that Jonathan had - a mum who actually cared. Jonathan brushed it off, reaching into the fridge to grab a drink.

"Wanna go to my room and watch psycho?" Bea asked as she followed him to the fridge, grabbing a Dr Pepper. He nodded his head, smiling as the two walked to her room.

"I SHOULD GO CHECK ON MUM" HE said once the movie was done and Bea smiled at him because finally they were back to their normal friendship, well if you forgot about the fact that his brother was missing.

She watched as Jonathan drove off and about 5 minutes later Dustin walked through that same door. However, as he threw his bag on the floor and walked over to the sofa slowly Bea knew that something was wrong.

She stood up and looked at his sad demeanour.

"You okay Dustin?" She asked and he wrapped his arms around her waist, crying into her shoulder.

They both fell onto the sofa and he just sobbed into her shoulder. When Dustin pulled away she saw his eyes were red and he still had tears pouring down his eyes. Bea placed her hands on his shoulders, scared as to what had happened.

"Talk to me," she said and he let out one more sob before reaching up and wiping the tears from his eyes.

"They found his body, they found Will," Dustin said and Bea engulfed him back into another hug as they both cried. Bea was not as upset as her little brother but she still remembered how sad her little brother is and how her best friend must be feeling at this point of time. Will didn't deserve this, he was one of the smartest kids that Bea had ever met and she shouldn't belive this had happened.

Bea pulled away for a second before smiling at Dustin, wiping the tears off her brothers cheeks.

"Why don't we get some ice cream and we can watch cartoons until you fall asleep," Bea offered, trying to cheer him up. Dustin flashed her a half-hearted smile which just made Bea smile back.
