"Didn't I say if you ever hurt anyone again, I would take each one of your fingers?" She smiled, walking towards Kyungho that was now shuddering in fear. "I would've just let it slide but you decided to hurt Jungwon, to hurt me."

He wasn't her achilles heel.

She would never let herself have one.

"Shall I take yours first?" She said, a few steps closer to Kyungho who sat in a wheelchair. "You could've recruited anyone but you chose Inseong. Then again, you do like her. That's why you beat up Sunghoon, right?"

"Who even are you?!" Kyungho yelled, unable to accept that she has once again bested him.

"I'm a stranger."

What seemed like nonsense to him was actually the truth.

He clenched his fist, afraid of losing one of his fingers, but taking one wouldn't be fun for Jihee. Plus she had no use for a bunch of index fingers, she had no place to put them and it would be a nightmare to keep them. So instead she settled for something a bit more fun, something that would make sure what happened that day would never happen again.

Mind control.

"Someone stole one of your fingers, right?"

Then a bloody scream escaped his lips as he was brainwashed into thinking that he lost a finger, when he truly didn't. He stared at his hands in horror and he acted as if his index finger was missing. He continued to scream in pain, even falling to his knees as he held his supposedly bloody hands.

"My index finger! I-Its gone." He screamed.

"You all don't know Kyungho." This time she controlled his men's memories.

And they all stood up, as if they weren't just beaten up and returned to campus.

She looked back at Jungwon and he watched in amazement, what took him minutes only took her a second. She used no violence but she punished him in the most painful way possible. There truly was no underestimating what she was capable of doing.

He was afraid that he would have to watch her cut his hands but it was better that way, it was better to watch him scream in pain for something that wasn't even true. Maybe he pitied the guy but the fact that he could've hurt Jihee clouded his judgement between good and bad.

He deserved it. He convinced himself and it was no doubt the truth.

And when she ran to him, he immediately claims her lips. Why he did that, he also wondered. Maybe he just wanted to be near her, maybe he just wanted to be reminded that he was hers and she was his. Everything about her was dangerous and yet she had her ways of making it look like safety.

"I don't think kissing while someone behind us is screaming his heart out." She whispered to him as she pulled away from the kiss.

"I think it's best we leave him alone." He said and he pulled her away from the back of the school.

Jihee shuddered upon realizing something.

Someone saw her.

"So today was eventful." Jungwon mustered to say as he was walking Jihee home.

"And you haven't told me yet why you were acting weird this morning." She reminds him. Truth be told he even forgot about his dream because of how weird his day has turned. But now that he was reminded, everything came back to him like a huge wave.

So, he told her everything, explained to her what he saw and described the woman who spoke to him. She listened intently and he watched how her face froze upon recalling the dream.

"How..." She trailed off as she stopped walking. "... How is this possible?"

He raised his eyebrow. "What's wrong?" He asked.

She struggled to put into words what she wanted to say. Or maybe that wasn't it. Maybe she just doesn't know what to say or whatever is happening to Jungwon, but she knew it was impossible. Especially with his protection spell.

"Do you know what it means?"

"You shouldn't be seeing those stuff." Her mouth remained agape. "Unless hah, fate is messing with you. She even showed herself to you."

"That was fate?" He's sure he's never met her, how come she felt so familiar? "But why?"

She sighed and shrugged. "The thing about fate is, she's always so cryptic. She never gives you a straightforward answer, that's her greatest and most annoying gift." She said as she began walking again. "But tell me if you dream about my memory again, which I'm guessing will be tonight. If it happens every night, I'll pay her a visit."

He smiled. "Can I ask what was happening to you in my dream?" He asked to make sure that she was comfortable telling him something that seemed so personal to her. The uneasy expression on her face already answered his question and despite his curiosity, he wanted to give her time. "I understand."

"I'm sorry."

"Don't! You don't have to share everything with me especially if it's personal to you." He tells her and his heart calmed down when her golden eyes softened. "Here we are, rest up. It's been quite a day for you."

She chuckled. "I should be saying that to you. Bye bye Jungwon!"

She waved at him and made her way to the door. Just as she was about to unlock it, she realized it was already unlocked. She couldn't have left it open, she clearly remembered locking it before she went to school. Pushing the door open, she closed the door behind her making sure not to make a noise so the intruder wouldn't quickly hide.

Assuming they're not stuffed in some closet already.

Jihee walked around trying to search for them which really didn't take that long because they never bothered hiding.

A sigh escaped her lips.

She stood behind the intruder who stared intently at the candle sitting by Jungwon's family portrait. She forgot to cast an invisibility spell on it before she left because of how excited she was for the game.

"You touched it, didn't you?" Jihee spoke to the intruder.

Byeol turned her head to Jihee's direction and the latter was surprised to see her face drenched with tears.

"You stole everything from me."
