Jihee swore she was going to turn this visitors into rodent before they could even begin the game.

Sunoo, being the president he was, was responsible with guiding the visitors to the gymnasium and locker room. The vice president was tasked with guiding the other visitors who plans to watch the game, so now he was forced to drag his friend to help him handle these visitors. She rolled her eyes as the men continued to make the most awful comments about their school, and she swore she even heard them make a comment about a student that they passed by.

The pettiness inside her was growing more and more, and if it hadn't been for her promise to Jungwon that she would practice some restraint, who knows what she could've done to them.

"Your school kind of smells or is it just me?"

"I'm sure it's just the stench you dragged with you." Jihee says, smiling politely as they continue walking. She acted like she hadn't just insulted them.

Sunoo covers his mouth immediately to snort.

"Oh to be insulted by a pretty girl. I like them when they act tough." The same person said, smirking.

"Thank you for the compliment, wish I could say the same though." She again fires back, finding quite the joy in throwing insults in the most polite manner. After that, they remained quiet, aware that anything they say, she could turn into an insult.

"Well here's the locker room." Sunoo said, forcing a smile for the bunch. "If you have any concern... Just approach me." The last sentence escaped in his lips forcefully.

Throwing nasty glares at them and annoying side-eyes, she continued to give them a smile that screamed politeness. Once they were all out of their sight, she dropped it, rolling her eyes. Sunoo was right, they were the most arrogant people she could ever come across with. They didn't even show respect to neither Sunoo nor Jihee, and she's a girl!

"I hate them. I hate them. I hate them!" Jihee says, repeatedly. "You're right Sun, absolutely right."

"Thank goodness you silenced them. I knew you were the right person to put those jerks in their places." He tells her. "I hope they're put in their places later when Jungwon and the others defeat them."

She smiled. "Rest assured, we'll win this! Now let's find a seat for the game, I don't want to stand for the rest of the game." She says, this time she dragged him to the huge gymnasium that was already packed with students from both their school and the opponent's.

She spots a seat but of course it had to be next to Byeol who she wasn't technically acquainted with. Sunoo, who had a faint idea of the relationship the two girls shared, spotted the same seat and still pulled her there. Byeol was shocked for a moment but later on smiled for the two. Sitting right beside her, she decided to repay her with a kind— although forced— smile.

"Don't they need you there Sunoo?" Byeol asked, pointing at the other students facilitating the crowd.

He shook his head. "I've already done my part, that's is their job." He shrugged which Byeol replied with a nod.

Jihee sat there impatiently, tapping her finger on her thigh repeatedly. She wanted the game to start. She wanted to see Jungwon already. Neither Sunoo nor Byeol paid much attention to how giddy she was as she sat next to them. Killing some time, her eyes decided to travel around the gymnasium and she was so sure that she almost choked on her own saliva when she caught sight of a banner with the face of the guy she insulted earlier.

A pretty girl was holding it and for a second, she pitied her. Based on her first impression and how he acted earlier, he is not deserving of an attractive partner and certainly not that kind of effort. Though he does seem like a laughing stock based on the picture used in the banner. Surely that isn't his best picture, because if it is, oh the pity she felt.

Then it was announced that the game was finally going to start.

With her bright eyes, she waited for Yang Jungwon.

And it didn't take her very long to spot him, he pushed his hair back as he ran to the side. He was looking all around the gymnasium until he found her and she stopped breathing when a grin appeared on his lips, illuminating his already beautiful face. He broke their eye contact to face the opponents whose smirk just irked everything about Jihee.

Don't turn them into toads. Or lizards. Or any animal!

Then with one whistle the ball was thrown to Jay who ran swiftly in the court, dribbling the ball. He passed the ball to Jungwon for him to shoot it. And a cheer escaped from her mouth when he scored three points. The opposing team surely didn't like the fact that their team scored first.

Jungwon was just... breathtaking.

When he slightly smirked at the opponent every time he scores.

When he would glance at Jihee before throwing it.

And when he successfully scores after that.

Gosh he was driving her nuts. She was restless in her seat, over the edge every time the ball was in his hands but she knew he was too good. He didn't need her magic to ace the game, he had his skills to rely on.

Then, the banner boy had the audacity to fake his fall when he and Sunghoon collided. She glanced at Byeol and she could see the panic written all over her expression. The referee had no choice but to call it a foul and Coach Min had insisted Sunghoon should sit for a while. Not until the second quarter was finished.

"This is unfair." Although the voice was low, Jihee clearly heard Byeol's whisper.

She's right. It wasn't fair.

I'm sorry Jungwon. Just this one!

When it was time for the free throw (since there was a foul), banner boy was the one assigned to shoot the ball. He pointed at his girl, even shouting that it was for her. The girl obviously blushed but Jihee just wasn't going to make him look like some cool lover, not after what he did to Sunghoon.

As soon as he threw the ball in the air, she controlled its trajectory with her mind. So instead of it shooting to the basket, it hit the backboard. Then the ball bounce back and a smirk appeared on her lips when it went straight to banner boy's face, earning a long 'oh' from the crowd.

He was knocked backwards of course, holding onto his face that was hit quite hard by the ball.

Jihee and everyone in the gymnasium tried desperately to mask their laughter.

Jungwon already knew the culprit behind this awful yet funny scenario, and instead of being disappointed that she intervened with her magic, he was actually happy that she did. Sunghoon didn't deserve to be blamed for something that was obviously fake and the way he would smirk whenever he scored three points which mind you has only happened twice for the whole second quarter while Jungwon has been scoring three points nonstop.

It shows that the only thing banner boy had was arrogance.

The referee's whistle signified the end to the second quarter and based on the current scores, their school was ahead by fifteen points.

"Ten minutes break everyone!" Coach Min announced. "Good job everyone. Don't let those players get in your head, especially you Park."

"Not going to lie watching him get hit by the ball in the bench was a sight." Sunghoon smiled, as if he wasn't just given a foul earlier. And everyone laughed, having a hard time getting the memory off their heads as well.

"Hey!" Jungwon turned his head and he sees Jihee grinning at him. "You were great out there. Banner boy stood no chance against you."

"You did that, didn't you?" He smiled playfully and judging by the lack of guilt and the overwhelming pride in her expression, she didn't even try to deny it. "That will be the highlight of this game."

She laughed. "Banner boy wanted attention, therefore I fulfilled his wishes."

He laughed as well at the nickname she came up with. He immediately knew where he got that from because at the beginning of the game, the snort that escaped his lips when he saw the huge banner, was very loud. It was not his proudest moment, that's for sure.

Ten minutes flew by pretty fast and Jihee had to return to her seat. "Wait!" He stopped her.

"Where's my kiss?"

She turned red in an instant.

"Yang Jungwon, do you want to be hit by the ball as well?!"

He laughed. "Oh I'm serious."

"You better watch out for the ball later, Yang Jungwon." She glared at him.

Putting the matters in his own hand, he put his hand on Jihee's back and pulled her closer until their lips touched. It was quick kiss but enough to leave a mark on both parties.

"Watch out for the ball later, Yang!" She hollered as he returned to the court.

Turning her back to return to her seat, a smile crept to her lips as her heart fluttered in that very moment.
