Jungwon didn't know where he was.

All he saw was a bunch of destroyed building towering over him and up above, the bright blue sky that he has gotten used to now had turned to the ugliest shade of gray. The weirdest thing about everything is that the place was engulfed with silence that was rather deafening. Not even crickets could be heard in this awful dystopian reality.

He began walking to who knows where, searching for any sort of evidence that there were still a remnant of life. But nothing.

Then he heard something. A rustling of leaves perhaps.

Turning his head to the trees that had wilted, he began walking towards to where the slight noise came from. He tried opening his mouth to attempt calling whoever lied deep inside the trees, yet no noise came from him. He held unto his neck and attempted to once again produce a sound but he terribly failed, as though he has forgotten the act of speaking.

So instead he kept walking until he found what he was looking for.

There was a huge space in the middle of the forest and at the very center sat a girl, sobbing ever so quietly that gradually got louder. And as if she was a tornado herself, the wind was blowing around her in a circular direction but it wasn't strong enough to destroy the whole forest or drag him. The louder she sobbed, the stronger the winds blew.

He felt his heart shatter as he was forced to watch the poor girl. Then when she raised her head, that's when he fully recognized who the mysterious person was.

Jihee.

He wanted to run to her but the wind only blew stronger, stopping him from walking any more closer than where he already stood. If everything he was seeing was a dream, he wanted to wake up as soon as possible. He wanted it to end immediately.

He clenched his eyes closed, waiting for everything to end. And in no less than a second, the sound of her sobs and the harsh assault of wind came to a halt.

He opened his eyes and that's when he came to realize he was back to where he first was. Then a woman stood in front of him, her long black hair fell to her waist and she was wearing a long white dress. For some reason, he knew her.

"How little you must know about the stranger." Her cold voice sent chills to his spine.

And before he could say anything, he woke up.

The game was today and Jungwon had never been so distracted.

His dream felt so vivid, as if he was actually in that very moment with the woman. She felt so familiar, like he had met her back then but he was sure that if he had met anyone as illuminating as her, he would've known.

Noticing the sudden change in behavior with the latter, Jihee flicked him in the forehead as they sat at the very back of the bus. He looked at her, wincing in pain because of how hard she flicked him. There was a slight concern plastered all over her face but at the same time, she stifled a laugh.

"S-Sorry I didn't mean for it to be hard." She said, covering her mouth with her palm, trying her very best not to laugh. "Why are you so out of it today? Did you not get a good night's sleep?"

No, it was the vivid memory of his dream that kept replaying in his head and what the mysterious woman said to him.

How little you must know about the stranger.

He knew he didn't know her very well, that was a fact he never thought of denying but that didn't mean it never bothered him how little he knew about her. But he knew well enough than to overwhelm her by asking her of the past she never seem to want to reminisce.

And of course, he wanted to know if what he saw was real. Because if it is, he wanted to uncover as to why someone who barely shed a tear like her was sobbing.

"It's nothing." He smiled reassuringly and yet a voice inside him said that she was never going to buy her stupid excuse. "Actually, I'll tell you once this game is over." He changes his mind immediately.

"Okay then." She nods, agreeing to his terms. "Now let's talk about the game, do you seriously not want me to mess with the trajectory of the enemy's ball so they wouldn't be able to score?"

A laugh escaped his lips despite knowing that her question was serious. "Yes I'm sure. So don't even think about messing with anyone's trajectory." He says as they get out of the bus and began walking to school gates. "Or anything to be exact."

"Fine, I'll exercise a little bit of restraint for you. But any foul play and they're never going to score a point again." She said but he knew it was out of concern.

By the time they reached school, they were welcomed by a Sunoo who had the most annoyed expression anyone could ever imagine. It was no mystery to the couple that their friend had many variety of expressions but the one he wore on that day, may just be the most foulest one yet.  None of them could even utter a word, afraid that if they did, the bomb that Sunoo was would suddenly explode.

"You talk to him." Jihee mouths to Jungwon.

"No you're the brave one between us!" He mouths back.

"Jungwon! Jihee!" Their argument was cut short when the bomb himself had noticed their presence. "You can not believe the morning I'm having today!"

"I'm assuming it's not a very good one." Jungwon spoke, and he felt Jihee patting his back as if she was commending him for his bravery.

"Oh that's not even enough to put it into words! It is a very horrible morning! Those opponents of yours for today's game? They are the most annoying and arrogant people I have ever come across, and I have met over a hundred people in my lifetime!" Sunoo lets everything inside his chest out (as expected by both.) "You know if I had the power to turn them into rats, they would've been rat food by now!"

She snorted. She had the very power to do that and if what her friend is saying turns out to be true and fate forbids they do something to injure anyone from her school, rest assured the school will be infested with the most disgusting rodents ever to live in this world.

"Okay calm down there Circe." Jungwon says, joking in the process which only aggravated his already annoyed best friend. "Calm down pres. Someone will hear you if you continue to rant about how horrible our visitors are." This time, he called Sunoo by a nickname he came up with when he was elected as student body president. That was his own way of reminding his friend of the title and reputation he held.

"You better defeat these jerks during the game otherwise you're not my friend anymore." Sunoo even threatened him, earning another snort from Jihee who has been enjoying quite the entertainment.

"Looks like you'll be needing my powers for today." She whispered to him.

Snorting, he looked around trying to locate the visitors that Sunoo was so annoyed with but all he really saw was a few schoolmates scattered around the hallway. But he knew it was only a matter of time before he really has to encounter with the opposing lot.  Just as when they were about to make their way to the gymnasium, Jihee was held back by Sunoo who needed her assistance and her 'unwavering attitude' which only confused her.

"I need her to put those lot in their places. You'll see her before the game anyway!" Sunoo said.

"Oh I'm sure she'll be great at that job." He smiled, trying to suppress a laugh from escaping his mouth.

And before she could say goodbye to Jungwon, she was pulled quite harshly by Sunoo to give a bunch of visitors a hard time.

After being left alone, he went to the locker room to hopefully meet up with his teammates only to see them sharing probably the nastiest expression ever. Of course none of them was worth comparing to Sunoo's but they were just a tad closer. He could only guess that they have also met their contender for the game. He was starting to regret coming to school a little later than usual. He was the only one to be blamed considering he woke up late thanks to his ever so right timing dream.

"I'm assuming you've met the visitors?" Jungwon asked Jay whose jaw has been clenching.

"They look like the type of people who wouldn't mind elbowing anyone of us." Heeseung scoffs.

"I'm guessing you've met Sunoo first before us?" Sunghoon asked who perhaps is the only one controlling his tone despite his expression saying otherwise. "He was the first one to meet them after all." He answered his question with a nod.

"We have to watch out for foul play later." Jay said, and they all came to an agreement.

Jungwon then realized that the chances of Jihee using her magic has risen exponentially.

And dear he hoped the game wouldn't take a turn.
