Jihee couldn't figure out how she could possibly tell Jungwon the news she had for him.

"What are you going to do for the summer?" Sunghoon asked her, sitting at the empty table next to hers as soon as the teacher left the classroom.

She closed her eyes, resting her head on her palm. "A friend of mine is making me go on a stupid trip."

"Jungwon?" He asked and she quickly shook her head, throwing him a glare when he quickly assumed she pertained to him. "I assume I'm wrong."

Scoffing, "Do you really think he's my only friend?"

He laughed. "I just thought he was your only friend that could convince you to go on a stupid trip."

She pouts upon realizing he has a point. Jungwon could tell her to go to somewhere far and she would do it because she trusted him, the same way she trusted fate so much that she's willing to follow fate's order of going somewhere she had no knowledge about.

"It's an old friend of mine. She wants me to visit somewhere." She sighed. "Probably will be gone for most of the summer."

He frowns. "That's sad, I wanted to invite you to one of my basketball games with the others."

Jihee smiled. "Looks like I can't come but thanks for thinking of me."

By the doorway of the classroom stood Byeol, holding a bunch of books that she was told to bring to their classroom. She watched as how her ex lover laughed with a woman who suddenly appeared out of nowhere.

Putting the books on the floor, Byeol turned her back on the classroom while reminding herself that she had no reason to be jealous or be angry at Jihee. But somehow it felt as if someone had stolen something very precious to her.

And the last thing Byeol wanted was to point fingers.

Jungwon wasn't that dumb to not notice that Jihee has been trying to say something to him. She would start by saying she had something to say but she ends up going to another direction.

But he was no different from her.

He also wanted to tell her something regarding his feelings. There was no way he was going to keep his feelings to himself, not when her time in this reality was limited. The only problem is that he was a coward.

There was a reason that up until now Byeol never knew about his feelings. At least he hope so.

Both their minds were troubled as they were walking back home, stealing glances at each other, clueless that they had something to say to one another.

"What are you up to for this summer?" Jihee asked, breaking the silence between them.

He hummed, thinking of what he had plan for their summer break. "I don't know to be honest. I don't normally plan what to do. How about you? Do you want to do anything? I could help you."

She shook her head. "I don't think there's anything more that I want to do." She responds to which reminded him that she must have done everything she wanted to do.

"Ah but I do have a question." He said as they stood at the bus stop.

She crossed her arms. "Since when didn't you have a question?"

He shrugged. "Fair enough. But it's about 10 years from now. I was just wondering if you've met me in the future. You've mentioned you saw me in Jay's fate but I couldn't help but wonder if you had actually met me."

Her face was unreadable, he couldn't tell whether it was a yes or no. But what confused him the most was when she smiled. "That's for future Jungwon and I to know."

"I have all summer to convince you anyway."

Jungwon frowned and yet he chose to understand her because he knew there were some things that she couldn't fully be honest with. And it looks like knowing about his future self is one of those few things.

After minutes of waiting, the bus finally arrived and he allowed Jihee to enter first just like how he always did. In that way, if ever the bus is full and there's only one free seat, she could have it. Luckily the bus wasn't full and there was a free seat for the two of them.

"Jungwon." She called him in order to make him look at her. "I don't know why I'm having troubles saying this to you but..."

"Jihee you can say it." The look on his face comforted her so much. As if he was saying that it was okay to say whatever she has to say.

"I'm leaving for the whole summer."

His face dropped. "O-Oh." He forced a smile. "Why? Did something happen?"

"I asked fate about something and she told me to go somewhere to get my answer. It might take a while because apparently she doesn't want to give my teleportation back." She crossed her arms, leaning on her seat.

He nods. "It's fine, I don't know why you found it hard to even tell me. I understand you have other things to worry about."

"I-I also don't know why I couldn't tell you." She admits.

"But I must admit it's kind of sad that I won't be able to see you for quite some time."

Jihee found herself dazed by his words. Little did she know it was Jungwon's own subtle way of expressing his feelings. That was the only thing he could manage to do because of his cowardice.

Still in a daze, Jihee's thoughts suddenly went the memory of her visiting the library of realities, to where she met with fate who was more than happy to see the stranger she had locked up in a reality.

She looked back at Jungwon, reminded of the reason why she even decided to visit fate despite being angry at her for taking away her precious teleportation.

She visited the library of realities to learn as to why Yang Jungwon was immune to her magic and what makes him special.

And apparently the answer to that question lies somewhere in another country.
