"Jihee was staring at you the whole time Jay, I think she likes you." Heeseung says after Jungwon and Jihee had left.

Sunoo nods. "I noticed it too! I asked her about it and she didn't deny it!"

Jay just casually drank his water, knowing full well that wasn't the truth. He knew she was never looking at him but rather at the person he kept guarding throughout the game.

"You're all wrong, she wasn't looking at me." Jay denied it.

She was looking at Jungwon the whole time.

Jihee crossed her arms, leaning on the doorway of her classroom as she stared at Byeol and Jungwon. It hasn't even been a minute since they talked but she all of a sudden pulled him aside, claiming she needed to speak to him about something. She wondered at first why Byeol really did that but when she realized Sunghoon was inside the classroom, erasing the whiteboard, she kind of understood that Byeol was just making up an excuse to either get Sunghoon's attention or avoid him by making it seem like she was busy.

"Jihee, hey. What are you still doing here?" Sunghoon asked, looking at the person who was still in the doorway. "I thought you left a while ago with Jungwon."

She points at Byeol and Jungwon, and he immediately understands why. "Ah." He says.

"You know, she's pretty." Jihee said. Pretty annoying.

He also leaned on the doorway, joining her watch the other two talk. "I feel like there's more to your sentence. By the way, I left your umbrella at my house, I'll give it back to you tomorrow."

"No need, you can keep it." She says, still looking at the two talking.

Jihee wasn't done speaking to him when Byeol had arrived but he willfully left her to go speak with the latter. She should've known that Jungwon would always pick Byeol over anything. After all, she is aware of how smitten he is for her.

She then looked at Sunghoon. "How are you? It seems like you're okay since you can stare at Byeol just fine."

Sunghoon shrugged. "I don't even know what phase I'm in anymore. But I'm somehow fine I guess."

"Good for you." She smiled at him. She was one of the few people who knew very well how much he loved her. "Are you going to the cafeteria or are you going to accompany me as I wait for my friend while he talks to your ex?"

"Do you like Jungwon?" Sunghoon asked, facing her this time. He looked down on her, raising his eyebrow attractively.

Her eyes widened and she was quick to shake her head. "No! Who makes you think I have a crush on him?" She says, scoffing in the end.

"Hm you sure? You seemed pretty bothered he's talking to Byeol." He says, using a teasing tone. A tone she didn't really like.

"How is that a crush? Maybe I'm just an impatient person." She huffed in annoyance. "You know what? I'll just leave. Who care about Jungwon? For all I care, he can marry her on the spot."

She turned her back on them and walks away with no hesitation. Sunghoon chased her down, still laughing at her as if she was some comedian who made the funniest jokes. In the end, he ended up accompanying her in the cafeteria.

Jungwon watched as Sunghoon and Jihee walk away after they had planned to eat together.

It bothered him. He was the one who was supposed to go to the cafeteria with her, not Sunghoon. But it was his fault, he should really learn how to say no to Byeol every now and then. Her topic was everywhere, as if even she didn't know what she really wanted to say. Unable to hear her ramble any further, he stopped her.

"Byeol, are you okay? You're everywhere." Jungwon asked her, cutting her last sentence off.

She sighed, noticing that Jungwon had figured out her real intention. "I'm sorry, I just saw Sunghoon and I panicked." She apologized. "I didn't mean to disturb you and Jihee."

He smiled. "It's fine. Jihee and I weren't talking about anything important anyway." He explains.

"I hope she didn't mind." Byeol said. "Ah by the way, do you want to eat lunch with me? Assuming you're not going to eat with Jihee."

He wanted to say no because he did invite Jihee first but since she already left with Sunghoon, he assumed there was nothing wrong with saying yes to Byeol again. Agreeing to Byeol's invitation, the two walked towards the cafeteria where he caught sight of Jihee and Sunghoon sitting together, laughing. They seemed closer than they made it seem. He gazes at Byeol and realized she was also looking at them with a bothered look.

"Let's get in line." He tells her.

When they sat, Byeol decided to ask him a question. "Do you have a crush on Jihee, Won?" His eyes widened, not anticipating that question at all. "I know why I'm so bothered to watch the two of them together, but why are you bothered?"

"N-No, that's not it." He nervously says. "I just invited her first and there she is, sitting with Sunghoon."

Byeol swallows her food first before speaking. "Which brings us back to my question, why are you bothered?"

Ever since their little trip, Jungwon admits he feels a little different with Jihee. But he wasn't sure if what he felt was the same thing as Byeol assumes it to be. Plus, he knows how a crush was supposed to feel like and it was clear to him that whatever he felt for Jihee, was different.

"I..." He trailed off, unable to find a correct answer to her question. "...don't know."

She smiled breathtakingly at Jungwon, making him flustered. "I'm sure you'll find your answer."

He glanced back at Jihee and upon looking, he sees Inseong slowly walking towards Jihee and Sunghoon's table with a cup of water on hand. She had a sly smirk on her face, as if she was planning something horrible.

"Oh no I think Inseong's going to spill water on Jihee, you have to warn Jihee!" Byeol said immediately when she also realized what Inseong was planning to do.

"I don't think it's Jihee we're supposed to warn." Inseong would be making a great mistake if she even dares to mess with the likes of Jihee.

"B-But—" Byeol tried to convince Jungwon more but he didn't budge. He knew Jihee could handle it on her own.

He watched how Inseong pretended to slip so the water would spill all over Jihee but somehow the cup ended up empty. Jihee smiled innocently at Inseong while the latter continues to wonder how the cup she was holding ended up empty.

"Be careful there, you could've caused a mess." Jihee said in a provoking way.

Inseong, who was still confused, became red in anger because of Jihee. She stomped away from their table embarrassingly.

Jungwon smiled.

"That's my girl."
