Introduction and disclaimers

This story is kinda different from my other works. In order to explain why that is, I am going to tell you how it came to existence.

On Tuesday 8 April 2019, the tenth graders of the subjects Greek and Latin at my school were on a one-week school trip to Greece. At that moment, we were staying at a (one-star) hotel in Athens. We had been walking around Athens for two days and it was 10.30PM, right after everyone went to bed, when I felt a sudden rush of inspiration, but more like a funny inspiration. I wanted to attempt to write something with a lot of decorum. So, I took my small notebook I had taken especially for that moment, and started writing.

You know those boys at your school who give off homophobic vibes but also mad gay vibes? Well, I had these boys in my grade too. There were three of them who weren't exactly homphobic but loved partying with girls and stuff, yet at the same time they were so close and touchy with each other and none of them has had a girlfriend so far despite a lot of girls being interested in them, so I have shipped them since the very start, and I felt like writing something about them. So basically, yes, this is a fanfiction. I've simply changed the names.

I read it to my roommates while writing, and they were cracking with laughter, because honestly, when I write past 10.30PM you can just tell it is going to be the weirdest shit ever. At around 11.30PM I finished the oneshot "Strange". And I was kind of proud of it, but ended up rewriting it anyway the next day, and another time three weeks later, to make it even more abstract. This was from the perspective of Dante. But then, I wanted to write from the other guy's perspectives too. I wrote two other parts from the perspectives of Noel and Gideon, with each of them their own titles and things. They were way worse than Strange, honestly.

But then, roughly a year later, I wanted to continue it. So I started at Gideon and wrote another part, followed by the other two. Between the first and last part it probably took me roughly three months, because inspiration came by bits and pieces. But when I finished Noels part, I immediately continued to the third segment/arc thingy, and the story had to wait for a few more months before I finally continued it. And now that I have arrived at the last part, I finally feel confident enough to post it.

The first chapter will remain the strangest chapter, but I've tried hard to keep the red threads connecting all the nine parts and three segments. Now, I am going to translate my writings and drop them on here, for who wants to read, whether it be for a good laugh or genuine interest. I am honestly quite proud, if I may say so. Three times three for the three boys.

Then, the disclaimers. I haven't written this as an educational story, or as a story to raise awareness or whatsoever. This piece is just me exploring my skills as a writer and a creator, but it's not professional and right now it's one and a half years after I wrote the first part of it, so my style has probably changed as well. It's just an experiment, but my roommates from Greece wanted to read the entire story so that's why I'm publishing it.

Even though this may be based of a real life ship, I have used my imagination a lot while writing this, so they don't represent these three boys exactly. Their friendship was just my inspiration. If they all turn out to be straight -which I still find highly unlikely but okay- that won't change anything about my story. After all, Gideon, Dante and Noel are now their own.

Um well this is a hecking mess of an introduction but let's get started.
