Eyes meet- Mine

POV: GIDEON

###

Gideon was madly distracted by Dante's intense staring.

Like, it was horrible.

He watched as if Noel was the most beautiful living being he had ever seen.

Which made Gideon jealous in two ways.

His first thought was: "Don't stare at Noel like that, he's mine."

His second thought was: "You're mine, stare at me instead of at him."

The whole thing was that none of them were his.

Still, he could understand Dante. Noel just looked gorgeous, in that baby blue striped pyjama T-shirt and the black shorts that were way too wide for his long, pretty legs.

But even though he could understand, he still wanted Dante to look at him.

Noel also noticed Dante's gaze and locked eyes with him.

Several never-ending seconds long they had a moment of intense eye contact. Gideon was clenching the bedsheets, his eyes almost burning, trying to send mental brainwaves to the two of them, look at me.

Finally, after what felt like a perpetual eternity, Dante averted his eyes.

To Gideon's side.

Gideon felt a wave of triumph when Dante's eyes looked into his, and the guy was no longer able to look away. Damn, his eyes were so big, beautiful and blue.

Something broke loose in his chest, like someone had placed a drum set in there and was romping on it like madness. It didn't sound regular, there was  no rhythm at all, everything was a mess, regardless of things like harmony and pace, it was all noise, but it felt good.

Why was his heart so loud?

The moment passed by way too soon. Dante was now staring at the wall, his ears were a burning, beautiful ruby shade of red. Noel was lying on his back now and listened to the classmates that were doing a speech about death to end the day with -great subject- and it was as if nothing had happened.

Still, it was not the same anymore.

Gideon has found a new goal.

A smirk playing around his lips, he thought: "Just you two wait, Noel, Dante. I am gonna make the both of you mine."
