Eyes meet-Look at me

POV: NOEL

~~~
Noel had a strange feeling, like he was being watched.
It made him uncomfortable, but he didn't look. Of course someone was looking at him. They were in a room with twelve people, and that speech was hella boring.
He tried to shrug the feeling off like that and attempted to listen to the two girls doing the ending of the day.
But the feeling kept clawing into him, like an annoying itch you want to scratch so badly but you can't because there's too much people.
But he couldn't resist it.
When he looked up, he looked straight into the inhumanely bright and big eyes of his friend Dante.
It didn't seem like a lighthearted prank he was pulling on Noel. He stared right through Noels eyes, to his soul, and Noel wanted to cover his chest with his hands because he suddenly... felt naked.
But he kept looking and counted the seconds.
It lasted ten unbearable seconds before Dante blinked and diverted his gaze the other way.
Noel sighed in relief.
But then, he just watched how Gideon diverted his dark gaze from him to Dante, and they locked eyes.
Noel started counting the seconds again, but stopped at fifteen and fell back on his bed.
Why was he feeling so strange?
Why did he want Dante to look at him again, even though it made him uncomfortable?
Why did he want Gideon to look at him with that gaze, even though he felt his heart beat faster just thinking about it?
"Look at me," he begged them mentally. "Please look at me."
