"So you telling me that you went to his family gathering fighting the mother of his other child." My sister Nia said.

"It wasn't my intentions to go fight but she didn't respect me so I had to let catch these hands cause you know these hand are rated e." I said.

"Didn't Joe ass know that you like a Transformer, you pack more than meets the eye. You are crazy and mood swings is available every 10 minutes. I think the real reason why you fought her is because of how your dad family treated you." She said.

"You talking like we don't have the same dad." I said.

"That man is a sperm donor. He didn't do shit for me so he doesn't deserve that title and Rob would say the same. You the only who tried to have a relationship with him and look how dirty he did you." She said.

"Alright you made your point. I'm need you come with me because I having to lunch with Joe and his friends because he's scared to face me by himself and plus I don't know how to act when I'm irritated by people. " I said.

"If I was him I would be scared to. Have you seen yourself when you're mad? You might stab the poor man if he says the wrong thing but I'll come with you. " She said.

"Do I look good? " I asked.

"Since when do you ask if you look good? Ooh let me find out you trying to look good for Joe." She said smirking.

"Nia a simple yes or no. " I said.

"Girl you look good. Now let's go cause I'm hungry. " she said walking out the door.

I walked out the house and Nia waiting by my car. She puts out her hand and I place the keys in her hands. We get into the car and begin driving off to where the restaurant.

"Do you know who's going to be there? " she asks.

"I don't know. Why? " I say.

"Because you said his friends and I'm sure y'all hang around the same people. " she says.

I sigh looking over at Nia. " Danica and the girls." I said.

"Okay." she says walking away.

"How long till we get there? " I ask her getting in the car. " Probably twenty or thirty four minutes " she says.

When we arrived, we got out the car and walk into the restaurant. We spot Danica and walk towards the table fill with Trinity, Renee,Morgan,  Joe,his cousins, and Jon. 

" hey y'all " I said from behind walking to the table.

"Oh thank God, you're here" Trinity said.

"I know I'm late" I said.

"Sit down and so we can talk" Joe said.

"First of all I hears you was beating ass last night. I'm so proud of you." Danica said.

"Thanks, You know I had to." I said.

"Why?" Renee asked.

"I raised when a female disrespect you and touches that means she wants to fight." I said.

"I understand that but girl you should have been the bigger person and not threaten to kill the girl but the punch to the nose though." Trinity said sipping her water.

"I lost all self control when she called me a hoe but we're here because Joe doesn't want to face me by himself." I said.

"That's not true, I just want witnesses to see how you act when I tell you that I want full custody of Masina. " Joe said.

"Please tell me you joking?" Morgan asked.

"Full custody of who? Leati you are so funny like what makes you think you can have full custody of my daughter who I gave birth to. Who I raised for five years on my own. " I said.

"Oh maybe the fact is you're extremely violent person." Joe said.

"Extremely violent? Joe just because I whooped your girlfriend ass doesn't give you the right to ask for full custody besides you don't know shit about Masina and who's going to raise her when your ass is on the road all the damn time and I think the judge will agree with me on that." I said.

"Amari calm down. Joe I don't think you have the right to come here and ask for full custody of Masina because one Masina will definitely not want to stay with you everyday as she is her mother's child, they are like twins so you know Masina inherited Amari traits. You are upset that your baby mama or whatever she's to you got beat up and that's alright but never threaten to take away someone's child over petty bullshit. Can we just agree whenever Joe is off the road that he can have Masina so they can build a daughter, father relationship."Nia said.

"I just don't want that woman around my child because if she can easily disrespect me then she could easily disrespect Masina. I didn't do that shit to her but walk away and she tried it." I said.

"I can agree to that and Galina would never disrespect Masina because she'll not be around her. Galina and I are not together. She showed up to the family gathering because she heard Amari and Masina was there." Joe said.

"So her intentions were to come and start drama. Amari is my best friend so of course I'm going to be a little biased to the situation and I'm also going to tell you how I see it. I think you guys need to talk about why y'all relationship didn't work out. Maybe go to therapy for it, I don't know but as long as it gets resolved for the sake of my godbaby because she doesn't deserve to be in the middle of y'all confusing ass relationship. Its clear that you guys are still denial of your love for each other. The most important thing a father can do for his child is to love their mother." Danica said.

"The state of motherhood is unselfishness. When you become a mother, you are no longer the center of your own universe. You relinquish that position to your child. So I'm willing to work on our issues just so you can be in her life. Masina is the anchor that hold me to life. So I apologize for keeping her away and not being woman enough to see how selfish I was thinking that you didn't deserve her."I said tearing up.

"You know my dad once said ' No man succeeds without a good woman behind him. Wife or mother, if it is both, he is twice blessed indeed.' I guess I finally understand what he means. I'm sorry for being an ass to you and I'm willing to work on us too." Joe said.
