I had been top five last week, at a respectful fourth place shared with my boy counterpart Gyuvin, and I wanted to keep it that way.

Allison and Hanbin had been first, while Giovanna had been close second with only a hundred thousand points in difference—one single benefit.

Bongcha was third, and Lux had been fifth. I had ranked her higher, but I guess some people were not over the Quasar scandal, which was shown in her support.

Standing on stage next to my group members of the week, I felt the nerves hit me hard. Considering my previous rank, I shouldn't have worried about elimination, but I was nervous anyway.

Choonhae was still sitting down behind me, waiting on her ranking. I wanted her to succeed, but she had been seventieth last week, and the cut-off point this week was fifty. Everyone below would leave the competition.

As I had predicted, Choonhae was not called and was probably eliminated. My stomach dropped to the floor. My friend couldn't be gone!

The guest judge of the week was Minhyun, and he was announcing the top five next.

My palms were sweaty. Matthew stood beside me, and he gave me a reassuring smile. We did well with the group performance. My trio one had gone well too, so I should be good.

"Fourth place," Minhyun said before leaving a long pause. "Lux!"

She had gained a spot but still looked rather sad as she made her way to the pink chairs. "And, Jiwoong!"

There was no real surprise there.

"Third place," Another long pause. Another deep intake of breath. "Gio! And Zhang Hao!"

Either I dropped to fifth, or I would be gaining a spot. Maybe two? Could I dream about the first place?

Hanbin and Allison being a secret couple for years, might shake up the entire ranking. That announcement had gone out at the worst time possible. I guess they didn't have a choice with that kissing picture.

"Now, for second and first place, I will announce the four contenders," dramatic music flared as the camera found four people amongst the trainees. With a flashing light, four faces flashed unto the screen. I had to blink twice. It was me and Bongcha, Keita and Yujin.

Somehow Bongcha had gotten the angel edit when in reality, the girl was a demon. Poor Allison and Hanbin, though, they had completely dropped out of the top five. There was a slight chance they were fifth. I didn't believe that anymore.

"First place, Bongcha and Keita!" Ugh, just great.

I reluctantly gave a speech, considering I felt like crying. Choonhae would not leave this thing on the day Bongcha got first! That wasn't a reality I wanted to live in.

Lastly, fifth place was called in the same fashion.

"The six contenders for fifth place are....Allison, Ara and Choonhae. Hui, Hanbin and Ricky!"

I let out a loud scream as Choonhae's face came on the split screen. Her mouth was open in shock. Tears were already streaming as everyone around her gave her big hugs. Allison looked stark white. Hanbin was holding her hand tightly.

Oh my God, she had jumped at least fifty spots or so!

"Seventh place, Choonhae and Ricky!"

"Sixth place, Allison and Hui!"

"Fifth place, Ara and Hanbin!"

Now that was something. What an unpredictable outcome!

I jumped up and down in joy from my best friend making it with such a high increase in votes!

I was hella nervous for next week and who I would be drafted with next. I at least get to look forward to spending more time with the people I loved.
